We came here for the "Las Vegas Fill" experience / pre-fixe menu for $130/pp. It includes a 5 course menu, including an adult beverage and dessert. Everything we had for this experience was good. I really like the presentation. The lychee martini tasted perfect as well as the filet mignon. It was after I had the filet mignon when I started feeling like I just finished eating at a buffet, so I barely ate the mocha coconut soft serve in the end. Even though this experience was good, this place is a lot more about presentation and the food itself was nothing extraordinary in my opinion, though good.

WAKUDA is an easy 5-star experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt polished and welcoming. We had an incredibly personable omakase experience with our chef, Henny, who made the meal feel both intimate and memorable. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making the evening special. The atmosphere is modern, elegant, and perfect for a special occasion. If you're visiting Las Vegas and looking for a high-end Japanese dining experience, I highly recommend the omakase menu. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, and the meal ended with one of the most impressive desserts I've ever had. It was the perfect finish to an unforgettable dinner.

Had a wonderful 5 stars dining experience at WAKUDA! First time visit so my friend and I were so excited especially since Chef Makuda has a couple of other Michelin star restaurants. Located in the Venetian/Palazzo, the place has amazing decor from the entrance to the 2 Sumo wrestlers in the middle of the restaurant! Lots of candlelit dining tables as well as a sushi bar. Started off each with a glass of Pinot Noir and it was very smooth and tasty! Ordered the following dishes: Miso soup (fresh nori, negi, tofu) Kanpachi Carpaccio Chutoro butter miso nigiri Crispy Tuna Rice Aburi Salmon Golden Gai Roll Tempura Corn Crunch Maki Toro Taku Dessert: The Coffee Bean Americano Every dish was delicious! The fish were served fresh at room temperature as it should be. The standouts for us were the miso soup, tempura corn crunch maki and toro taku. Accommodated our special request for ponzu sauce is a big plus! The coffee bean dessert was amazingly sooo good especially the spectular presentation with the dry ice fog! Our server, Alex, was also amazing! She was very friendly and her recommendations were on point. Great customer service from all the staff! Highly recommend!!! Arigato gozaimashita!

This was the last spot for my bday in Vegas of 2024! We both chose the yuzu margarita, but as a mocktail for me. It was delicious and refreshing! The decor is dark, trendy, and has pretty lanterns and a tree! We shared the kanpachi carpaccio, nori taco, marinated cucumbers, and wagyu flambe! Everything was so beautifully presented. The wagyu was torched tableside. For dessert, we ordered the coffee bean dessert, but they also gave me a soft serve miso ice cream! It had a nice display of dry ice, and "happy birthday" written in chocolate. It was the perfect ending to my Vegas bday trip!

Unpaid near $2000 including tip for a pre-fixed meal on 4th of July to watch the fireworks and have a really nice meal. Overall there were some very tasty items and their finale with the dessert was amazing for the kids. However... Beef skewers were over cooked. Filet's were excellent. The lobster service was delicious but I was told it was a whole lobster. I share it with my nephew who GMs an upscale restaurant in Connecticut and he laughed. It tasted great but please don't tell me that was a whole lobster from a guy who lobstered as a kid. I was surprised that our main courses came out at different times too. My two daughters had their steaks delivered after we had our main courses. The service was very nice but I would have expected more spending that kind of money.

I have traveled to Japan and this restaurant reminded me of my traveling experience. The ambiance is amazing. It combines traditional Japanese culture with modern Japanese pop culture. The interior is comfortable, the restrooms are clean, and it is a great place for wine or a dinner. I am a professional photographer and I have covered events in this restaurant, so believe me when I say this is a fivePLUS star restaurant. Try the duck meat covered in pesto sauce. The taste is unique and delicious.

Beautiful dinner at Wakuda! We arrived with a group of six and we were friendly greeted by Jackie who took a group photo and walked us to our table. Our server, Coco, took the time to outline the menu and some of her favorites. Juan, the manager, stopped by and introduced himself which added to the fine dining experience. We've met Andy, the other restaurant manager before and although he was traveling, still sent over his best wishes to us. We ordered multiple different sushi options, and two different types of desserts, you really cannot go wrong as all of the menu items tasted excellent!

As Las Vegas locals, we always love discovering great dining spots, and our experience at WAKUDA for my husband's birthday tonight was absolutely exceptional! Initially, we weren't entirely happy with our assigned seating. However, we had the absolute pleasure of running into GT, a higher-level manager who isn't always on-site. He noticed our dissatisfaction and immediately went above and beyond, letting us handpick any table we preferred. On top of that, knowing it was my husband's birthday, GT personally brought over complimentary champagne to celebrate with us. It was such a thoughtful gesture that instantly elevated our evening. The service didn't stop there--our server, Coco, who is Japanese, provided amazing and attentive service throughout the entire night. As for the food, everything was incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. From the top-tier hospitality to the outstanding cuisine, WAKUDA completely blew us away. We couldn't have asked for a better birthday celebration. Highly recommended!

Wakuda is such a vibe every single time. The atmosphere is stunning -- dark, sexy, and energetic without being overwhelming. It's the kind of place that feels special the moment you walk in. The food is incredible. The sushi is super fresh and beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was packed with flavor. You can tell there's real attention to detail in every dish. And the ginger mocktail? Absolutely amazing. So refreshing with the perfect kick -- honestly one of the best mocktails I've had in Vegas. If you're looking for great food, a chic crowd, and an overall elevated dining experience, Wakuda is definitely the spot.

Love this place, food is so fresh and delicious. Also, the waitress is very kindly and a patient and friendly. Must try every time when you're in Vegas.!

Food and ambience were great. Service was also excellent. From the moment you approach the receptionists you feel special. The ladies checking you in are definitely trying hard to provide the best and very welcoming experience. Our server Christopher was also incredible. We just stopped for a quick anniversary snack and resulted and an memorable date. Food 5 star quality, ambience the same, customer service top. Prices high but definitely worth it. I had two cocktails and a few rolls, between the two of us our bill was a little over $300. Will definitely come back!

Had an incredible experience at Wakuda. From the moment you walk in, it feels upscale and polished, with a beautiful dining room and a true high-end Vegas atmosphere. The standout of the night was a lobster sushi roll that instantly became one of my all-time favorite sushi dishes. It was so good we ended up ordering it three times. Every bite was fresh, perfectly balanced, and memorable. Everything else we had was excellent as well, both in presentation and taste. The service matched the setting, attentive, professional, and seamless throughout the meal. If you're looking for a fancy sushi spot in Vegas that delivers on both experience and food, Wakuda absolutely lives up to it.

What is the policy for people with young children? We have a 5yo.

    They are accommodating with children

    What is the dress code?

Well, like everything in Vegas, casual but I would dress business casual here

Are there any vegan options that are offered?

Can I just go for a drink at the bar?

    Yes.

There is a $100/person charge for a reservation at the sushi bar. Does that go towards your food?

They never charged me that but if you no show they may charge you this fee

    How much is omakase?

It's right on the reservation page. $500. They have set menus in the main dining room too that you can look up online too. https://www.sevenrooms.com/experiences/wakudavenetian/omakase-room-bar-at-wakuda-8832168387

    Are little dogs allowed?

Only if it's service animal, or that you sit outside which it's super cold now. Not ever sure they open outdoor! Call the Resto directly is best!

Can they accommodate for a gluten allergy?

Yes, we had one person in our party who was gluten free.

Inside seating vs outside seating? Im celebrating my birthday and would love to know which is better.

I've not sat inside but I have outside. It was beautiful overlooking the Vegas strip. There was several tables that would easily seat 8 people max. There was water mist lines creating a comfortable temp. Outside ambiance felt more intimate.

What else comes with the premium sashimi platter ? Side dishes?

When will they start accepting reservations for omakase?

They are not ready yet! Best bet is to call Wakuda directly or Direct Message them on Instagram.

Does this place take room charges for comps?

Yes, you can do room charge.

When will you be accepting reservations?

Reservations can be made directly through the website, restaurant phone or by contacting Venetian Concierge 702.414.4300.. patio dining with misters just opened, as well

I haven't had sake with sushi in a minute. It was smooth and not overpowering. Each roll was fresh and delicious. The one we saved for last was the Blue Crab. This one made us say, "Mmhm.. yes. That's a good one!" The service is always great here. They really take care of all their patrons. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient (we were there for about 30 minutes). They also give great recommendations. The ambiance is cool and chill. My sister said she would definitely come back here (yay!). Thank you, Nomikai, for continuously delivering on food and service. Our server was also very nice and attentive. My disappointment is with how the menu options were presented. I arrived at noon for lunch and was only given the full-price all-you-can-eat menu. Based on what I was shown, I thought the $45 tier was the least expensive option available. When discussing the different tiers with my server, I explained that I really wasn't interested in all the extra sides and additional items--I was simply looking for meat, vegetables, and rice. He even tried to talk me out of choosing the lowest $45 tier, but at no point was I told there was a separate lunch menu. It wasn't until AFTER I had eaten and received my bill that I asked whether there was a standard menu where you could order a smaller meal. That's when I was handed the lunch menu for the first time. I was honestly shocked. The lunch menu was exactly what I had been looking for from the beginning and would have been plenty of food at a price that fit my budget much better. Had I been presented with it when I arrived for lunch at noon, I absolutely would have ordered from it. Instead, I ended up spending around $70 on lunch because I believed the $45 all-you-can-eat tier was the lowest option available. I understand that I could have specifically asked whether there was a lunch menu, but when you arrive at noon for lunch, I don't think you should have to know to ask for a menu that isn't presented to you--especially after explaining that you're only looking for meat, vegetables, and rice. Good food and genuinely good service, but discovering a more appropriate lunch menu only after I had finished eating and received my bill left me feeling really disappointed and unfortunately overshadowed my first experience.
