The place is set up so that you can order at the register on the right side of the shop, or head to…read morethe counter on the left side if you're picking up an online order.  Love their chicken shawarma and falafel! Both are always cooked perfectly and never dry at all. They have a ton of different sauces you can choose from, but my favorites are the garlic sauce and cilantro tahini.  They have a small parking lot that's shared with a couple of other businesses. If you come during peak meal times you may have to wait for a spot or park one lot over, but I've never really had any issues. If you're ordering during lunchtime on a weekday, they do get super busy since a lot of employees from neighboring offices come by for takeout, so just be sure to give yourself plenty of time. Overall, a great spot for some delicious Mediterranean food, and they're always super consistent!

Ordered online, got a chicken Schwarma bowl, 3 piece falafel, and a chicken sambusa. My favorite part of the whole meal was the falafel, I really liked the flavor and it had a nice crisp crunch on the outside, tasted very fresh. The sambusa however, was dry on the inside and the outside was a little chewy? Tahini sauce was very tame, slightly nutty flavor. The bowl was good, the ingredients were fresh enough, but I really wish I got to enjoy them with all the sauces I ordered.

This has become our go to neighborhood taco shop. Such a wide variety of salsas and they are all…read moregreat. The food never disappoints, the burrito tortillas have that crave able springiness and char - never dry, well seasoned all around and staff is all friendly and accommodating. My go to is a California burrito with half al pastor meat and half carne asada. Love their grande burrito as well if I want to split with someone or want some leftovers because it is 2-3 meals all by itself!!! This place is nothing fancy but when I need good food and don't want to cook it's fantastic. My only complaint is they close on the earlier side for a taco shop, 9pm on weekdays 5/6pm on weekends. Wish they were open for my later cravings.

We wanted to like this hole in the wall, especially since they've been there for years, but…read moreeverything we tried was just blah. Carne Asada burrito: under seasoned meat on the drier side, too much extra tortilla Fish taco: flavorless, cold tortilla -- boring Pollo asada taco salad: best thing we had, however, there was barely any lettuce and the "salad" itself was super tiny (NOT what they use to offer according to previous posts/pics), it was literally the size of a small child's cereal bowl -- iykyk. With all of the competition out there (even just Clairemont Mesa Blvd. alone) I am amazed that this place survives -- maybe we just got the wrong things, but any decent taco shop should have a decent carne asada burrito and this one just was not it.

I had to come today when I heard on social that AP will be closing this month (I think June 21,…read more2026?). I have wanted to try their pizza and fried zucchini for ages now so today seemed to be the best day for us to visit. Friend is a huge fan of this place and offered to treat for a late lunch. Plenty of parking this Sunday afternoon. There were a few customers inside. There were several tvs playing sports so that was fun. You order at the counter, pay, and wait for them to call your name. I ordered the slice of Spartan Sausage Onion & Pepper Pizza for $5.50. It was a nice chunky size that reminded me of fresh baked focaccia bread. The red sauce was my absolute favorite part of this pizza - it tasted so fresh and bright. The fried zucchini had 8 large pieces. The presentation was EPIC! And came with two sides of ranch. I LOVED the zucchini!! It was perfectly battered, salted, and seasoned. An amazing deal for $14. I want to come back JUST for this and to order a full Detroit pizza to bring home for everyone to share. I tried a bite of the Coney dog and didn't love it. Tasted average and the hot dog was lukewarm. I am hoping to make a trip here this week to support them one last time.

A friend told me that they wanted to check this place out, so we went together. What an…read moreinteresting pizza place. It's inside an old Taco Bell that still has the old seating and everything. It was like going back in time to an old Taco Bell, but there were Detroit flags and posters all over and all the lights had covers over them to change the ambiance. They have a couple of arcade machines to play for free while you're waiting too. The pizzas are just ok because they are pre-cooked. They add toppings and sauces and reheat. This causes the meats to be dried out. They do have a lot of options and interesting pizza combos though. The majority of the pizzas are square Detroit-style, but they do have some round pizzas as well. They also offer craft beers and some different drink options you don't usually find at restaurants. Also, if you don't want to go in, they have a drive-thru. Overall, the pizza options are different and varied. The pizzas are just ok, not great but not bad. The ambiance is retro and interesting. The staff is welcoming.
