Food takes forever to be served. Not hot when it gets to you. I have tried three times on three different occasions and it was the same.

First, I wouldn't completely write this place off just yet. They get a 5-star rating for the setting, upgrades and atmosphere. This place aesthetically is very pleasing. The two star overall rating is for a combination of other factors. One of the not so great parts: The Ultimate Bloody Mary was something I simply had to try. It looked obnoxiously impressive and kudos for the novelty factor. All three in our party sampled it and were in agreement: The food was not good at all. The chicken was dry. The pickle was replaced with a calamari cup, which would have been great if the calamari was decent. They were crispy little bits but subpar. The chicken was dry and texture was "blah". The cod in the cod sandwich and shrimp skewers were the only things that I considered edible, but nothing to write home about. The Bloody Mary mix itself was okay. It was a little spicier than I typically like but overall not the worst. I couldn't eat or drink most of it. The social media photo ops were not worth the $40 price tag. Save yourself the money and post someone else's photos instead. (Permission to post mine is granted. Trust me - I'd feel better about spending so much on that drink if someone else can learn from my impulsive mistake, lol.) Thumbs up for the Brisket Grilled Cheese with Gouda. I would have given no stars except for the fact that our waitress was very friendly and engaging. Management needs to be more responsible. There were only a handful of people here when we arrived but it quickly increased to at least 15 tables of 4 or more customers, spread out throughout this spacious establishment, including a party in an outdoor igloo (as well as many patrons around the bar enjoying conversation and the televised football games). Our waitress informed us that she was the ONLY wait staff on duty. Her attitude, despite this, was very positive! How can one person function properly in this situation? One of the bartenders stepped up and delivered our Ultimate Bloody to the table. (Thank you.) Some of the service issues: I ordered a beer sample at the same time the other two in our party ordered their drinks. Drinks were served minus my beer. I had to ask multiple times until it was finally served after a lengthy wait. The others at my table were almost done with their drinks. My SIL received her brisket grilled cheese without any napkins or silverware. I retrieved some at the bar (after a bit of a wait trying to get someone's attention). My SIL had to walk to the bar to inquire about my ultimate Bloody Mary drink. She was almost done with her meal but I was still waiting for drink/food. I had to go to the bar to request extra napkins/plates. The wait at the table was way too long. After trying the bloody, I knew I needed a beer chaser (shot glass) to cleanse my palate. I ordered one and the waitress happily agreed. Thirty+ minutes later (I timed it), I asked the waitress and she admitted she forgot. She did end up making things right. I know there is a staffing shortage crisis in our nation. That being said, if I was the owner and had spent so much money recently on such amazing upgrades of the physical establishment itself, I would want to assure that the money was well spent, and be on site making sure the infrastructure was in place to launch this beautiful reopening. I rarely give reviews but felt this was needed! Our recent visit to your fine establishment shattered our expectation! The service was 5 Star and as always staff was very friendly. It was so busy they literally sat people right next to us outside. The food was fairly priced and quality was impeccable. The pizza arrived hot and fresh and they even provide some type of special aged Parmesan cheese that added that extra flair! One small issue was resolved when one of our party had to return something. She even mentioned how the extra staff that overheard her quickly responded! Really impressed with the new update of the bar area. Very nice TVs are great- great place to watch sports. Main drawback is the food and the service. I think the poor service may do the due to understaffing? However the food there's no excuse I had wings boneless and they were gray in colori inside and very chewy. The Brussels pizza had huge under cooked Brussels sprouts, large under cooked potatoes and very dry. The bar had one good bar tender that pulled the weight of the whole thing. Stopped there on a quiet Saturday afternoon July 23. Bartenders were very slow and not paying attention to customers. 2 of them were doing selfies and one walked by us at least 3 times. Several people came in and had the same issues. I never saw anyone in charge to mention it to. The food we ordered was coconut shrimp/ fries and a burger and fries. The burger was great however the fries were soft and oily so they had been sitting for awhile. The shrimp looked great (dark brown) however after biting in the inside was still soft and doughy. So I ate 2 shrimp and a few fries for $15.99. Did I complain no but the bartender looked at my basket and had this look on her face that why did he not eat it. But she never asked me how it was. You will have a great place when it is done but if that is the food you offer and the service you provide your business will never be good. Advice for management train your staff to acknowledge people as they arrive if they are busy let them know you will be right with them instead of ignoring them. Loved this place! Visiting from Florida and they wanted me to experience the full bar/packer game experience and I am impressed at nice and attentive the staff was! Prices were good (compared to Florida) and lots of free games/drawings. We won about $150 altogether and they give free shots when the Packers scored and half price appetizers during the game. I haven't been here since the remodel, and I'm really glad I gave it another chance. The interior and food quality are greatly improved. I'm a nachos snob, and the chicken nachos were excellent. The best part of the experience was our server, Natalie. She's a new server, but she handled our large table of 7 efficiently and made great suggestions, pointed out some of her favorites on the menu when asked, and was very friendly. We dined at Waverly Beach last nite and left disappointed. My friend and I both ordered deep fried haddock. It was some of the worse haddock we ever had. It was so tough we had to cut it with a knife. It arrived at our table a little too brown and much quicker than we expected. We both wondered if this was leftover haddock that had been refried in oil to heat it up. If we go back again it won't be for the fish. Also be aware that they add a surcharge for using a credit card. We used a gift card and ignorantly put the rest on a credit card. They charged us the 3.99% surcharge on the entire bill, not just on the portion we put on the credit card. Do the math to make sure you are not getting ripped off. read more

This place has been around a long time, and in the summer it has always been a great bet with it's location on Lake Winnebago, the Tiki Bar, and the live music. And the food was pretty darn good. Great pizza. Great Philly. And my wife LOVED the Sunday fried Chicken. New ownership now. Anduzzi's. First, an unbelievably fantastic and phenomenal remodel. Truly magnificent. Worth going just for the redo. Service, hit or miss. I know this is especially challenging in this seasonal employment climate. Frankly, mostly good service by young nice people. But when it misses I would not call it a complete disaster, but more of a disappointment. It happens. The food. Here is the problem. Mediocre at best. Pizza before Anduzzi's, one of the best in town. Pizza with Anduzzi's. Done with it. Inconsistent cooking. Inconsistent ingredients (like, sometimes Italian sausage, sometimes mystery sausage... no idea what that was but kind of funky... And let us not forget to mention the lack of pizza because out of cheese... in Wisconsin!?!?). Burgers hit or miss. Perfect or hockey pucks. And... calamari is NOT octopus. So. Beautiful spot. The credit card convenience fee was a surprise. Glad it is posted but hate to see another charge on the tab. The pictures in their menu are totally deceiving. I ordered the lobster rolls. The picture in the menu shows 3 on a plate and you could see lobster in them. What a fantastic venue. As you walk in you see a large room filled with happy people eating chicken. The far wall of windows offers a view of a spacious dining patio and grass area which abutes the beach. Another patio holds a concert area where bands often play. Beyond is a very large Tiki bar. An adjacent grassy area is set up for various games. What a wonderful place to be in the Summer. Large banquet rooms accommodate weddings and parties. BUT the food is not great. Yes, they were very busy but that isn't an excuse when serving food. My medium rare bacon cheeseburger was beyond well done. The crusty Sheboygan roll was a big soft dense mass that wasn't worth the effort to choke down. The cheese barely hit the burger which also hung off the bun. My companion's patty melt had cheddar cheese in place of Swiss. In other words, enjoy the venue but think twice about eating there. read more
