Had a great dinner here last night. We made reservations via phone as restaurants in this area stay pretty busy and it's the end of the holiday season. The restaurant has ample parking, located right in Schaumburg near the woodfield mall. They have lots of healthy options, keto options, and some vegetarian options. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile since Weber headquarters is out here in Illinois. I have two Weber grills myself and love them because of their quality. The restaurant is kind of upscale, you walk in and can see large Weber grills and the kitchen staff hard at work. They have a bar area, booths, tables, etc. I did not visit the restrooms so I can't comment on them. Our server was attentive and friendly. She also made recommendations. They offered a seasonal menu with cocktails, appetizer, and entrees. My father in law got the pork chops meal and it was huge. He was able to take home half of his meal. I got the grilled chicken salad (chopped) and it was very good. We started off with the spinach queso and it was very good. My husband had the ribs and said they were delicious. My brother had a burger with the house chips. He liked his burger, he said the chips were ok. All in all, we were all very pleased. I would come back again. Weber Grill -- a well-known, great reputatible company known for their... well, grills. When I think of Weber Grill, I think of summer. I've only known of their restaurants on the few times I ventured to River North and walked past their restaurant. Little did I know there is a Weber Grill restaurant in the burbs. Weber Grill restaurant has a nice, professional atmosphere, but not of a boojee steak house. The place had a good balance of business casual dressed patrons along with non-casual dressed patrons. Me and my friends tipped the scales with the non-casual dressed crowd. Walk right in and the hostess sat us pretty quickly on a Thursday night. Their open kitchen showcased several grills with thick slabs of steak cooking to perfection. The place was bustling with exciting grilling energy. We got a booth seat and our waiter gave us several recommendations. We ended up ordering the starter sampler, which consisted of several appetizers, a great way to try a little of everything. It consisted of spicy sticky ribs, jerk bbq chicken, grilled shrimp, tuna poke. My favorite out of those were the sticky ribs. Sweet and tangy sauce clung on to the small finger-sized ribs. The meat came off the bone easily and the meat itself was not the fatty-kind that my cheap Dad would use on our occasional BBQs at home. For the entree, I went with the 12-hour smoked beef brisket (ugh... I was eyeing that $47 ribeye). The dish came with bourbon baked beans and a house slaw. The brisket portion was decent... I would estimate about a quarter pound. The brisket was somewhat moist, the bark was soggy, and unfortunately the brisket was pre-slathered with a huge generous chunk of bbq sauce. The plate also included a cup of BBQ sauce, in case that wasn't enough. I should have got the steak. My friends got a NY strip and a ribeye respectively and they loved their steaks. My buddy who ordered the NY strip, ordered it "medium rare" but it came out more "medium" compared to my other buddy who ordered a "medium rare" ribeye. They ordered mashed potatoes as their side and said they were delicious. Overall, great ambiance, food, and service. Our food was served by servers and our waiter gave us water carafes to self-refill our water cups. He gave us great food recommendations and checked-in on us several times during our visit. BATHROOM REVIEW: Hard to find initially. There is a hard-to-miss sign that indicated the bathrooms. Located a straight-shot from the main front entrance, parallel to the front open-faced kitchen, the bathrooms were nice and classy. A nice length privacy partition gave you the urination privacy needed while a TV for 7-feet tall people are on top of each urinal. Stalls had floor to ceiling doors so you can poop and play with your phone (act like you don't) utmost privacy. Sit or squat? Sit! read more

The play on their grill theme was very well done. The restaurant has a very clean and inviting. The menu options are very diverse. Our table had two different steaks, a rack of ribs and a plank of their fish of the day, Cod. After seeing meals being delivered to other tables, all of us took the opportunity to play with the vegetables on our order. I had the cod on a cedar plank. I'm picky about my fish, but this was spot on. I substituted carrots and garlic mashed potatoes. The carrots had a small seasoning bite to them, but were served with a yogurt based cream that made them special. The garlic potatoes are exactly what I wanted. If Amber is there, ask for her. She is informative and friendly. Great service. I was in town for business, but will visit here every time I come back. PS. Well, my wife and I wanted to give Weber another chance and it looks like they're back! When the manager seated us , he asked who had the job promotion and I said my wife. He congratulated her and said an appetizer is on him. We thanked him but said it wasn't necessary. He said it was no trouble. The spinach queso came piping hot. Yes! While the queso was outstanding, the chips were stale. So, I have to give it 4 stars. The manager stopped by and we thanked him for the appetizer. With a big smile he said you're welcome. I love this place. Great for sitting at the bar. Chicken wings are mind blowing. Steak and fries is my go to. Vintage old fashion is my new favorite bourbon drink, made with "dripped" bourbon. Service is 10/10. Bartenders are very social. I highly recommend the apps and drinks. read more

If you have ever owned a Weber grill or have cooked on one, then you know that it cooks great. That is if you know what you are doing. You can have the best equipment, ingredients, and spices, but if you don't have the skills to put everything in motion, then none of that matters. Case in point, me and my 2 co-workers decided to eat here for dinner one night. I ordered the 26 oz Tomahawk Ribeye, while they ordered New York Strip and Salmon. I originally just wanted to get the 16 oz Ribeye($45) but the 26 oz Tomahawk Ribeye($95) is what caught my eye. I figure since there is no Weber restaurant where I live in Vegas, might as well go all out. With that said I ordered the Tomahawk medium rare. In the menu it says Tomahawk Ribeye for 2 so I was thinking I was not going to finish it which is ok for I can always take it home. So I get my steak. If you refer to the pic, it comes with baby roasted sliced potatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus. First sign of disappointment was that the asparagus was overcooked to the point that it was not all that edible. I ate one and knew that the rest was just gonna go to waste. The mushrooms and potatoes were good. As for the steak, yes it was cooked medium rare like I requested, but I think they forgot to put any spices on it. The perfect steak to me is cooked medium rare, seasoned properly, and does not need any steak sauce because of it. This steak I had to ask for A1 sauce. I know what you are thinking, just ask for another steak. I would only do that if the steak was nowhere near edible. The fact that im at a restaurant that makes one of the best grills in the world should tell me that anything that leaves the kitchen should be perfect right? Service was just ok. The lady that served us first told me that the Tomahawk was 30 oz when I ordered it. Later on when she came out with the entrees for my coworkers she informed me that my Tomahawk was 26 oz and not 30. Would be nice if the servers knew what was on the menu. In the end, $95 for a tasteless ribeye and overcooked asparagus is not worth it. I have been to other places that charge 16 bucks for a 16 oz ribeye that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Weber Grill is a good steakhouse, but its a bit pricey for the food and service you receive. We had come here as part of a big birthday reservation of approximately 45 people. Due to it being a busy Friday night during dinner rush, we were split between 3 tables, but luckily the tables were right next to each other. The waiter was good about quickly bringing water for everyone, but what took awhile was receiving our drink order. Although my whiskey sour was delicious. Also because it was such a big party, we had a prix fixe menu to choose from consisting of your choice of their house salad or minestrone soup, 1 entree choice between honey bourbon glazed salmon, bone in smoked pork chop, or their 14 oz New York strip steak, 1 dessert choice of either their double chocolate cake or seasonal creme brulee, and after dinner coffee was included if you wanted some. I chose to order their house salad which was good, but nothing special. What made the salad course really good though was their freshly baked pretzel rolls and butter. These are simply great! For my entree, I chose the 14 oz New York strip steak cause Weber Grill is a steakhouse. While the steak was well seasoned, the far superior entree was the honey bourbon glazed salmon that my sister ordered. It was moist, flaky, and full of flavor. I also liked the creamy garlic mashed potatoes and green beans that came with all the entrees. But definitely choose the salmon entree over the steak!! Lastly for dessert we tried both the creme brulee and double chocolate cake, neither was up to standards. They were good, but I thought they could have made them so much better for a steakhouse. The after dinner coffee really helped to fight the food coma after though. We also found out that Weber Grill does cooking classes. There was a giant room in front of us that had a lot of people going in and out constantly. After awhile we got curious as to what they were doing, and they said they were doing a cooking class and that they had to continually check on their grills/smokers outside. Overall Weber Grill is pretty good, but not worthy of 5 stars. The service was a bit slow, but I guess its because we had such a big party during their Friday night dinner service. The food was all good, except the dessert was really lacking. I would come here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice, only if it was convenient. read more

Our group of four ordered 2 brisket burgers with fries and slaw. In addition, we also had 2 orders of the turkey club with fries. Burgers are some of the best around and the turkey clubs tasty and well prepared. Fries and slaw are also very good. We dined on a Saturday at 530pm. I ordered the brick chicken with arugula salad and roasted parmesan potato. The chicken had a light pesto dollop on top. The dish was excellent. Good portion. Took about 1/3 home and had it the next day. My bf had the small filet with garlic mashed potatoes. He said the steak was one of the better ones he has had. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My wife and I have been fans of Weber grill for a few years now. Tonight, they our exceeded expectations. We ordered carry out online for our Anniversary. (Weather was bad and we kept it low key.) Went with a group to celebrate a birthday, were given a great table in one of the rooms, let us bring in a couple decorations, we ordered a variety of meals and each was delicious, had a variety of cocktails as well,all very good Their desserts are not single serve, especially after the meal, we split and sampled and they gave the birthday boy their flourless chocolate cake and a scoop of ice cream, that thing was heaven, would have thought it was fudge! Like an old friend, the Weber Grill delivers. We have been coming to the Weber Grill for longer than I can remember but had not dined recently. It was normally the location in downtown Chicago but Schaumburg satisfied our desire for a Weber Grill meal on more than one occasion over the years. The food was incredibly tasty and the portions were huge. The bar options were also very impressive. The only thing that was a bit lacking was the service. This was one of the few places that didn't seem to have a lack of service staff as a number of servers were standing around talking. For whatever reason, we happened to have a server that seemed to dissappear for extended durations.
