Was staying here for a conference. Stayed in the first night and ate here. After traveling all day it was nice to have a good steak. The wait staff were really attentive and meal was served to us as expected and ordered. The Peach Flan ...if it's on the menu ...do yourself a favor, make me jealous and order it! To say it was amazing is a tragic understatement! If I stay here at this hotel again, I'd eat here. Ambiance was wonderful - waiter was super as we sat by the stained glass window and listened to the piano player. Drinks were excellent and dessert. But soups were sad especially the lobster bisque with 2 small chewy pieces of lobster and watered down tasteless soup. Then the sea bass which was also tasteless and way overpriced with a sweet unappetizing sauce. The potatoes au gratin were also tasteless but the filet Mignon was fine. overall overpriced, oversalted and lacking attention to detail and taste especially when charging so much. Overall enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving here as it was one of the few restaurants open with available reservations. Started with a lobster bisque, not even close to being a bisque but go through it. We order Prime rib and the Lobster Thermidor. Overall each of our meals was okay. Ambiance is very dark. Service is okay. Enjoyed the live music. I've been here a few times now and really love the crab cakes and short rib puffs! I recently went on a Friday for my birthday dinner and also tried the Friday soup special which was New England clam chowder and wow was it amazing! The old fashioned cocktail was great as well. But I feel like their appetizers were better than the mains. I tried the prime rib (which it says on their menu is the house specialty and what they're famous for) and honestly it was just ok. Not bad but I was expecting it to be very good considering that this is what they're famous for but honestly I've had better. I got the lobster Thermidor for an entree and it was just ok. I like seafood but I wouldn't order it again. The crab cakes are better. I liked the crème brûlée. The chocolate cake was also very good read more

My friend and I dined in the evening of 2/16. Nick was our server and WOW, he was absolutely outstanding. From the moment he greeted us it was like we were engaging with a lifelong friend. We ordered drinks and a dozen oysters. Delicious! Quickly ordered two dozen more oysters. Huge shout out to the person who shucked every delicious oyster for us on top of everything else they were responsible for in the kitchen. We ordered another round of drinks and Nick suggested a vibrant Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. There was a piano player which we loved. This was the first restaurant I'd been to since the beginning of COVID over a year ago. My family and I came for my sister's birthday wanting a little normalcy back in our lives. Six of us came for lunch to a mostly empty restaurant. The staff was all attentive and all masked and they tried their best but the overall experience fell really short. They were out of certain breads that day, my brother had ordered lobster Thermador. 30 minutes into waiting they came to tell him that they were out of that too. Did I mention it was empty? I understand not having certain items readily available given the climate of consistent clientele but then your staff should know and mention that upon those items being requested, right?! Appetizers were pretty good, the spinach bread, scallops, escargot and a few others. My burger was nicely cooked and juicy if under-seasoned. The main complaint was dessert though. My other sister, who couldn't attend, had called ahead to order a piece of Key Lime pie for the sister's whose birthday it was. We also ordered a handful of other desserts for the table. The pie that came with a candle in it had turned, as in spoiled and sour. Not Key Lime sour but sour milk sour. Our second favorite dessert to order, the crème brulee, was loose and grainy and tasted closer to a pudding. The experience as a whole was a little disheartening. The manager was apologetic and we all understood but for the money shelled out and the anticipation of the expectation it just wasn't nearly up to par. read more

Visiting a restaurant know for prime rib for decades made my selection very easy. The entree comes with a few choices and I went with a house salad that has sliced almonds, some sort of berry and a raspberry vinaigrette dressing which was a great choice. The prime rib ordered medium rare with a side of mushrooms which was my vegetable choice. The prime rib also came with horseradish sauce and extra Au Jus but ironically after enjoying the prime rib and wonderfully prepared mushrooms I forgot all about the horseradish sauce that I normally enjoy! I came here regularly in the first few months of the pandemic when it was hard to get grocery pick up/delivery anywhere else and would pick up for my roommate and myself. Thank you Weber's for so quickly adapting to the circumstances to provide a safe way for the Ann Arbor community to get essential groceries. It was not a safe time to be out and about as so much was unknown about covid's transmission. The staff were incredibly detail-oriented in making sure pick-up was contactless and even provided hand sanitizer and gloves on the pick up table (see pic). This was also the only place I could find yeast when everyone (including myself) was going on a bread baking craze while stuck at home. Customers also get a 10% discount on Takeout Tuesdays which has been a nice bonus. Weber's is my favorite restaurant to get prime rib. It tastes amazing with their horseradish cream sauce. Before the pandemic, this was my go to spot for celebrations with friends and family, like birthdays and graduations. In the summer, they had food carts and live music so folks could more safely enjoy being together in-person and the weather. Love Weber's. Just simply great!!!! Beautiful on the inside and the ambiance is wonderful!! We went for breakfast and dinner and both waitresses were awesome. During dinner my meal was not prepared properly(I didn't want to complain because everything was so perfect with everyone else meals) but our waitress said no and had the manager come over. While we had a lovely family brunch, the service left something to be desired. As I was walking out with my partner's father and his brother, one of the waitresses smiled at me as if to say goodbye and I smiled back. They then proceeded to say, "High maintenance, huh?" in reference to my partner's brother, who is autistic. I replied, "No, not really?" The comment was wholly unnecessary and ablist, and left a terrible taste in my mouth - the assumption that I would agree with what they had shared and find it funny or relatable was also terrible. Came here for birthday dinner! I love coming to Weber's for celebrating special occasions! We are a party of two and got 1 free entree which makes the price so so good! Loved it. The waiter as attentive and willing to accommodate dietary needs! The bread basket is always good and almost filling! The salmon bread spread which I believe is a house specialty is our favorite! The food was very good. Some in our group had the buffet and two of us ordered the brie omelette from the menu. I definitely recommend the mimosas. Unfortunately we were seated next to the pianist and could not carry on a conversation without shouting. By the time we were offered another table we already had our food and decided to stay put. I feel that if the pianist had used a lighter touch the volume may have been acceptable, but he really pounded out the tunes and I had a headache when I left. I was a bit worried when I saw they did banquets downstairs...I feared we may be in for soggy veggie medley and dry beef, but that thankfully wasn't the case! While waiting for our table, we made our way to the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail and appetizer. Tried the French onion soup, but it oddly had no flavor. Loved the bar area ambiance! Made our way to our table and had the Filet and Prime Rib. Overall the food was decent. But, the waitstaff perhaps a bit inexperienced and need a bit more training, given the price-point. I suspect the owner(s) aim to be better than Texas Roadhouse. Even at Cracker Barrel a manager walks around and asks if everything is okay, but we did not have that here. Worst of all they didn't pack my side-dish with my entree. It wasn't the worst experience, but at similar prices we've had better at other steakhouses before (Banderas in Chicago. This place is known for their prime rib (granted there are lot of restaurants in Ann Arbor area that offer prime ribs, so you'll have to judge for yourself who has the best prime rib).... I've been going here during for some time... in addition to the menu items, I enjoy their brunch buffet on Sunday mornings... for $10.25, it's the cheapest brunch in town. Brunch is hit or miss... their sausage (reheated frozen sausage patties) were dry the past few times I visited... I like how they have the waffle and ham craving station... granted that same person also refills the foods on the buffet line :) Their buffet offerings doesn't change much... there will be different pasta options from time to time... but you'll find that the offering will be the same.... Service can be little challenging when they are busy... had to wait 15 minutes few times to get a refill on coffee... but if you want a cheap brunch and have lot of people to feed, then this place is wroth visiting. As with any buffet, the lines can be long or slow.... In the past few visits, I've dealt with more "slow"... as people in front of me will look at the food from different angles as if the visual will change or something... Maybe I should try that next time and slow the line ;) read more

I grew up in Ann Arbor and came back to visit my parents in Ann Arbor. They treated me to a first class restaurant experience there. The ambiance is sophisticated with beautiful modern furnishings. I had the whitefish fillet with spinach and whipped potatoes. Delicious with shrimp sauce. My Mother had the baked salmon and it was delicious. My Father had the prime rib sandwich which continues to be his favorite. Bobby was our waiter and he was attentive. Webers has a good wine list and we enjoyed our bottle of Chardonnay. We love Weber's especially on Sunday when we can order the American Breakfast from the menu or the enjoy the buffet. The ambiance is gracious with white table cloths and a pianist. The prices are reasonable and the servings generous. We have especially enjoyed our chats with Christina, the restaurant manager. Many times our waitress has been Aliyah, who has been friendly and capable In her service. Along with the buffet we also enjoy the waffle bar where Nick does a nice job attending to the ham and waffles with various sauces. We came here for a late fathers day lunch. There were two under 6 grandkids in the party and both had behavior problems. The staff ignored these issues and did a fine job of serving us. The menu is loaded with promise. We both ordered prime rib and lobster bisque in addition to bread and drinks. My margarita was good. Lobster bisque came out. It was creamy and tasty with maybe a tablespoon of lobster claw choppings. Very nice, but I'd take Bay Traverse Bay Pie's version anytime. We both ordered the largest cut of prime rib, but i ordered the horseradish topping. When they came out, hers was definitely larger, and when asked, the server said they were the same size order. Wife had a side lobster tail, it was overcooked. My side of mushrooms was the highlight of the meal. My daughter's family of 4 was in our party. On whole, the promise of such a fabled resturant nearly lived up to its expectations, but fell short. Im sorry to say this. No manager visited our table and if he had, this review would have been superflous. Maybe we should have came here for dinner. Final note, the facilities are downstairs. We had my father-in-law's memorial dinner here for about 50 people. They did an excellent job. We had a buffet dinner with lots of food selections including fish, chicken, salad, bread, mixed vegetables, etc. The garlic rolls were excellent. The dessert selections were also delicious, but didn't help my diet. The service was great and prompt. They didn't rush us to leave. We, a group of 12, came in today for their wednesday all you can eat ribs buffet lunch. The staff, Zack and the restaurant manager, Cathy were so friendly and helpful to make table arrangements, so we all could sit together. I really appreciate that. The buffet looks very fresh, the sandwich bar and salad bar look yummy and they were tasty too. Today's theme is ribs, I think it's okay. It's a little too sweet to me. The taco meat is delicious. I also tried their black bean soup and chillies. Excellent! The only thing was missing is desserts. The dinner was very good. The service was a lot of uha and okay, never a thank you or certainly, or sure. The brunch was a bit of confusion. We got our food at the buffet in front of us, after a plate I want for another and my other plate had not been cleared. I set it in the edge of the table awkwardly. Later we heard the server telling a new table about another area with a waffle station and other things. We were never told. When confronting the server by saying "you never mentioned the other area you should probably tell everyone about that, they said "okay". No sorry. The food was great, the service not so. read more

We've been to Weber's many times, but only recently for an event. Even in this different set up everything was lovely. On a normal basis we come for the brunch, and my husband enjoys the salmon and the fresh waffles, and I get my favorite non-brunch item, the salad with walnuts and chicken. The chicken on it is so good, I always over eat It's a huge salad and I can't crop eating it. The dressing is delicious. We've also enjoy the miso sea bass and the French dip. Their soups are absolutely divine. It seems like a place that would be filled with :ahem: older clientele, but it's not. It's just a fine dining experience and people who know good food!!! read more

I have been here on a few occasions (Sunday brunch, date night, trade inspectors convention) and the staff has always been top notch. The decor is well done inside but can be a little dark at times. The bar/jazz lounge area is really nice, and I enjoyed this area the most. The food is great for the most part. The brunch items are good and they have a good variety. I enjoy the regular menu with the french onion soup, choice of steaks and the like. They always seem to have a deal too, which is great because their prices are on the high end, but expected given the history here and the high standards. read more

I stayed at the property for two days while shooting a music video in the area. The hotel was pretty decent as was the restaurant. But my encounter while in the bar and grill was the most humiliating experience ever. I have NEVER been blatantly disrespected and patronized in my life. After enjoying a celebratory meal in the restaurant (after shooting for TEN HOURS STRAIGHT), I inquired about watching the live band. I was assured that was fine & was told to sit anywhere there was no white tablecloth. Once I found a table, I waited for nearly 30 or 40 minutes to be acknowledged by waitstaff. 10 minutes later a waitress comes over and says ,"Excuse me, there is a $10 minimum to sit here so either order or you have to leave". I responded that no one had come by to take an order, and that I was told I could enjoy the show from any table without a tablecloth" She stands over me as if to intimidate me, folds her arms and says, "Who told you THAT!?" At this point, she was so insanely rude, (and I don't argue with staff), I took a call and she left....not ONCE asking what I wanted to order. No water was brought to the table, not even utensils. The people sitting next to me witnessed the whole ordeal and encouraged me to stay and speak to a manager. This waitress was JUST that Egregious & contentious. The manager was so patronizing and dismissive, merely saying that he would address the problem and was acting as if I was wasting His time. I decided to leave. It is very apparent that this is a family owned and operated facility.....(which I appreciate) in fact, I canceled a reservation at a chain hotel so that I COULD support a locally owned company. But, because there was no APPARENT consequence for unprofessionalism and no concern to mitigate my concern with the HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE treatment, I cannot in good faith recommend or return to this establishment. I should NEVER be subjected to bullying in a place where I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars. The bar staff and manager MUST receive additional training in hospitality. There MUST be clear communication about ensuring a positive customer experience across EVERY aspect of their brand. read more
