I had the value menu with crispy chicken salad ranch dressing, and comes with a drink, it was very good. I had good service. The waitress was so nice she bring me out some more ranch dressing for my salad. She refilled my two drinks.

Fantastic place for breakfast! Service is great and friendly! Very clean! Only tables and chairs no booths! Really enjoyed something different!

Old school diner with a mix of local college and 50's memorability. It's a local chain restaurant but has a family owned business feel. Try the red and green chili mixed (aka Christmas). My wife loves the potato bowls and it's the Benedict for me. Good service with friendly staff make this place one to visit everytime I'm in town.

This place was pretty good! The Fam Bam met here for brunch on the last day of my stay. There were 8 of us. This must be popular because by the time we left the place was packed! I had the chicken & waffles. Hey.... you can't go wrong with a waffle. And that syrup was pretty tasty. I usually prefer chicken wings with my waffles, but the strips were okay as well. I couldn't tell you what everybody else had, but I can tell you that nobody complained. My Mom loved her omlet. She's been here before and that's her go to! Oh, and the coffee is GREAT! I was surprised as diner coffee generally lacks strength. That was not the case here. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the manager even came by to ask us how we enjoyed out meal. I'll be back the next time I'm in ABQ.

Overall I give this place a 3/5. It's not the best food it's definitely mid. You can get better food elsewhere . And the price was expensive for the quality. Rather spend $17 for something that taste better. The service was also not the best. I did a pick up order and the girl at the front had a shitty attitude. Wouldn't come back again. Look somewhere else to eat.

Weck Deck Sandwich

This is supposed to be a club sandwich. It not only looks sad but tastes sad. I had this last year and was craving it. Won't be eating there again. They messed up the order as well. Person on phone was super friendly.

Sunday morning and facing the usual where do we eat dilemma. So a relatively new Weck's by the house is a good choice (I was told it's actually been here for 3 years). Not many cars in the parking lot this early on a Sunday morning so no wait. Drinks arrived promptly and orders placed. A 3-Egg with ham and cheese and a Farmer's Market Omelets. For those unfamiliar with Weck's their Belly Busters are just that - a lot of food. As the store filled up the staff didn't miss a neat, the managers hit the floor keeping the coffee and other drinks flowing, while the servers did their jobs. Relaxing atmosphere, good food & great service - what's not to love?

Craving breakfast and this place was highly recommended. Ordered to food over the phone to go. Girl over the phone said 15 minutes. So I show up park and wait till the 15 minutes was up and went inside. The girl at the front was very nice. I got the papas breakfast plate with two over medium eggs. Eggs cooked perfectly green and red chili are both good. And such a really large portion that it could feed three people. And for my son I got the kids pancakes. When I tell you that my son got the biggest pancakes I've ever seen here. He was so happy. They came with a side of fresh fruit and whipped cream. I was not expecting that so when I opened the two small containers I was happy to see that they were included. We didn't order any drinks so I can't review those.

Tastes great. Restaurant clean. Nice staff. Little loud. Wait can be long but pretty good.

We love Wecks. We arrange our travel thru ABQ to have this breakfast ! Eggs bacon with green hatch chili salsa.

First class food and service at both locations we have tried at different times of year. Amazing chili salsa and bacon egg breakfast with hot hood coffee. We return every time we are thru ABQ. Don't worry it's clean and has good distancing

It's always Christmas year round at Weck;s! Delicious food served by courteous staff. Mid week breakfast @ Weck's on Albuquerque's Westside was simply amazing. The restaurant is exercising excellent enforcement of the mask mandates in place by state and local officials. Greeted quickly and friendly by the hostess and seated promptly. Server was quick to take drink order and returned quickly. Restaurant was clean throughout and tables were spread out to enforce the 6' social distancing. Ordered the Papas breakfast bowl with Carnitas (Marinated Pork in Red Chile over hash browns cover in Red and Green Chile). The meal was delivered quickly and the food was fantastic. It was served with a flour tortilla on the side. Flavors were just simply spot on! If you can't take spicy food you might want to avoid this dish as it is rich and intense with the flavors of the Southwest. I requested my egg Sunny-side up and. It was cooked perfectly. Met the manager on the way out of the restaurant and she was genuinely engaging in asking about our dining experience. Overall this is a top rated breakfast and lunch eatery. Definitely recommended and we will return soon..

The parking is a bit crazy, they do have someone trying to help direct traffic through the parking lot. If you don't want to brave that though, there's plenty of street parking. It's busy but there's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating and the turnover pace is pretty good. Things can be a bit loud if you hit the crowded times, but really it's a popular spot for good reason. I got the sweet potato hash and it had the perfect mix of veggies and eggs and was cooked just right. I also tried one of their tea blends and it really hit the spot. The staff is all very friendly and helpful as well and the food comes out quickly. Anyway, great experience as always at the Grove!

My mini me 1 inhaled her grilled cheese (of which my husband ordered the full size and also demolished his), and mini me 2 and I shared the toasted tuna melt. Good balance of tuna, celery, and bread ratio, but I didn't dig the olives in it. There's a mini kale salad that comes with entrees, and it was healthy and palatable for kale. We did end up balancing that green with the pistachio cruffin and pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Would definitely go back for the cruffin with its flaky layers and luscious pastry cream. Cookie was less impressive but still worth the impulse buy. Indoor and breezy outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

The area looks old and poor, but near the restaurant, we didn't see anything sketchy. When we were leaving, we did see some homeless people at the main intersection, but we didn't see anything we'd describe as sketchy. We did notice there is a mobile home park behind the restaurant, but there is a wall between the mobile home park and the restaurant parking lot. Even if there were police surrounding the mobile home park, we'd still venture inside to eat. The food is that good. We shared the cowboy breakfast burrito and the Santa Fe pancakes. Both were filling and ridiculously good. The Santa Fe pancakes made with blue corn, roasted piñons, green chili, and cheddar jack cheese were different than anything else we've ever had. I'll admit I didn't love my first bite or two, but the more I ate, the more I wanted. The pancakes are dry, but if you drizzle some syrup, it's the perfect match. The accompanying eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The cowboy breakfast burrito is massive, filling, and worth every calorie. Even though we were stuffed, we had to get the peach with green chile turnover. We asked if the turnover is served warm and our waitress replied that she could warm it up for is. I'm not sure that it is normally served warm, but I highly recommend it. The turnover flaky, the glaze was silky once warmed up and the peach with green chile was unique and delicious. Five star service and food. I highly recommend Vick's Vittles and hope that I'm in the area again so I can try more of this delicious food.

All new staff that clearly don't understand the restraunt business. Went in today for breakfast, seated in the back. Out of sight, out of mind I guess. Took longer than normal to get waited on. Placed our order, had to correct the waitress several time on our order. Waited quite awhile, long enough to need more coffee. None was coming so had to call out to another waitress to get more. Our waitress did come back to bring the coffee. Before she got there we were discussing the fact that the entire staff was new. She must have overheard us and took it as some kind of slight to her. Two minutes later the manager came over to inform us that we were being rude to her server and that she would be taking over our service. After some discussion my wife said, "this is ridiculous, guess we won't be coming here again" the manager said "well I'll cancel your order and you can leave now". We said we didnt want her to cancel our order and she just said have a nice day. So we left. Sooo not the Vicks Vittles of the past.

The person who…read moreanswered was incredibly helpful and patiently explained that only the name had changed, which I appreciated. For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Chicken & Waffles were the highlight of the meal, offering a satisfying balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. One of my favorite touches was the collection of retro waffle makers displayed along the walls, which added a fun, nostalgic charm to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd happily return to explore more of the menu.

The blue corn is just a tinge sweet so was an interesting mix. The waffle is a decent size but is super filling and dense. I'll have to try some sweet waffles or some different waffle bases next time! That said there are lots of gluten free options as well, so if that's for you, then don't hesitate to come check it out you won't be disappointed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though in general the place is small-ish and can get crowded during busy times. Parking is also a bit of an adventure, but so is anywhere in that area. The staff is super friendly as well. All in all a great experience and I will be back. I can't believe it took me so long to get here in the first place!
