I usually love getting my Frosty fix but my past experience here was horrible. They obviously needed a refill for the machine, and what came out of it was pure liquid...eww... This spot is an okay place for me. I can definitely compliment this place for their fast service and really affordable prices though. I also really like how there is always parking. The food was mediocre, in my opinion, and I would usually only come here if I'm in the area or just want a quick something at night. This Wendy's has been here for a long time, but it's really nice and clean inside. Wendy's has the best chicken nuggets (with the exception of chic fil a) of the cheap fast food restaurants. They have the modern soda machine with over 100 flavors here now! The burgers at Wendy's are on the smaller size, so it's really only worth it when they do promotional deals like the 4 for $4. read more

The service is also longer for that you get, so I've been going to Monrovia,although this one is much closer. Sometimes I just gotta have me some wendy's. They have a few locations in my area. I love their 10 PC chicken nuggets. I debated for someone which out of all the fast foods was my favorite to get these. I finally decided it was here. Something about the way they fry them. I LOVE THE FROSTIES :) The place wasn't clean at all. At the parking lot you could see napkins all around and the entrance door was sticky when I opened it. Disgusting. My nephew had surgery at the Garfield hospital down the street and this was the closes place around. It's within a mile from the hospital which is pretty convenient. read more

You can compare this to Mcdonalds and man they're still top notch on affordability and food quality. Mcdonalds ice cream and burgers/combos cost a lot and is pretty expensive so Wendys is usually my go-to when I'm in the area! Drive thru is quite long every time I go but I don't really mind since it's relatively new and at least I know my food is being prepared rather than sitting on a shelf waiting and getting cold. $2 frosty keychain valid for a free frosty every visit for the year! I'd like to write a review of Wendy's, or more exactly, of Wendy's Frosty. Those are wonderful! My grandchildren tell me there has been some controversy about if it is a drink or a dessert when people bring in discount drink coupons, and so I'm putting my two cents in. Well, maybe it is technically a drink, but it's certainly worth being considered a dessert. And you cheap people should pay the difference, because it's VERY worthwhile. It's just worth more than a coke or a cup of coffee. I think they used to call it the Silver Goblet, and it came in a silver glass that looked like a fancy goblet. I can eat a whole Frosty, but I usually don't because I want to save my calories. What else do we get there? I'm not great at French fries, but we get them sometimes. We do get their hamburgers. They're not renowned for their hamburger, but they're okay. Their fish sandwich, I don't eat it, but my husband likes it. Fish and chips, and I have my Frosty so I don't care. read more

For my first visit, I tried the 4 for 4. The food wasn't too bad. The fries where nicely seasoned and crispy. However, the nuggets were just ok compared to chic-fila or Mcdonalds. My goooodness!!! I love Wendy's but definitely not this location! I went here yesterday, Monday, November 7th around 6pm through the drive through... I had a coupon through the entertainment book for "buy one combo get one free", I didn't know I had to mention it whiling ordering .. when we got to the first window to pay.. we presented the coupon.. The first lady got really mad and then called another lady. She then said we dont take these coupons.. I told her its for all Wendy's and my friend used one awhile ago.. They were sooo rude. Both ladies were rolling their eyes and my boyfriend said we should just leave they might spit in our food because they're being really rude! Is it possible to have negative stars? . I made the mistake of coming to this Wendy's instead of the Lee's Sandwiches across the way. I'm not sure if they were understaffed that day but I waited 20+ minutes from the time I walked into the door till the time I got my food. I'm used to McDonald style service... when you order your food you get it in less than 5 minutes! The guy at the register...his name is Andrew was juggling 20 things at once. He was taking orders, frying french fries, shaking salt on the fries, filling drinks, popping buns in the toaster, and running around trying to get everything done. The problem is that the place only has one register and not enough staff. By the time I got to the register I had 15 people waiting behind me! 2 ladies left and I was pretty pissed off! By the time I got the register to order Andrew didn't offer any apologies for the wait...I swear I wanted to drop kick this kid. This place has to be independently owned because the staff looked questionable and under trained. They should not have workers who have tattoos all over their arms working the register. For as long as I can remember, I been coming here ALL my LIFE, literally since I was in grade school. I always come here for a quick fast food fix, and the best thing of all, its super close to home. Pretty much, just outside my house. Here are what I normally order: - Chili - served in a cup, comes in 2 size: regular ($1.10) and large, cheese is extra (+$0.25), come with crackers is free - Spicy Chicken Nuggets - 5 pieces for $0.99, very delicious and good Cesar Salad - small, not the freshest veggies, but veggies does a body good! $0.99 * When I get a Cesar Salad I will add Chicken Nuggets into it to make it better - Baked Potatoes - comes with butter and sour cream, warm and YUMMY, $0.99 - Frosty - super quick ice cream fix, always get a regular (I don't remember how much this is) * if you get a kid's meal, it comes with a small Frosty - Deluxe Cheese Burger - typical fast food burger, $0.99 New item added to the menu: Sea Salted Fries, to me, a bit too salty, but over all not bad, kind of reminds me of Kettle Chips french fries Overall, food is just okay, but given that I been going there since ever, and they always been there for me, for a quick fix. I've been coming to this particular Wendy's for as long as I can remember, ever since I was a little girl. I loved getting their chicken nuggets kid's meal, dipping my nuggets and fries into the Chocolate frosty it came with, and then taking a sip of soda. However, I stopped coming here by the time I hit my preteens. Recently I came here 'cause I was in the area and craving soft serve and didn't know where else to get it. I went through the drive-thru and the girl taking my order was almost incoherent. I asked her how much a small soft drink was and she gave me the price of the medium and then said she really didn't know. Obviously I don't expect much from an employee working at a fast food chain, but come on -- really? I ordered a small soft drink anyway (it's huge by the way, I thought it was a medium at first) and a small Chocolate frosty. Total was less than $4, so it's a great value. When I got my food, I asked the same girl who took my order if my drink was the right size and she replied yes very shortly. I would've given this place 4 stars if it wasn't for this employee... she just made my overall experience pretty crappy. read more

I love this place! I got a large spicy chicken combo with a Perry berry fruit tea and a southwest chicken salad. I went through the drive through and was greeted by a tall young asian man with a radio like voice, he was quick, effective and efficient and smiled and asked if I wanted any sauces or anything at all with my combo and I asked him for some sauces and he gave me too much! I also asked for utensils and napkins with my salad and he said it was already in there, unlike other places were they would forget such things. Kid in the drive-thru this evening was rude, and acted like he didn't want to be there. We are asked what sauces we wanted seconds before we pulled away, thinking we got exaxtly what we wanted, get home, and only got enough sauces for 1 persons meal. And not only that, the 2 sauces that were in the bag, had been sliced opened previously from the top. Oh and the food was very cold, and the salad was room temperature.. Fries are undercooked.. Fast food place, low cost and decent food. What I loved getting here is the Asiago Chicken Ranch Club, Spicy chicken nuggets, the frosties, and when they had it available- the bacon and blue burger. When Wendy's advertises spicy, it holds true. It's not a spicy like McDonald's and it's neither like and Indian cuisine's, but (like with the nuggets) it's a peppery, smokey taste that builds when you eat more of it. Asiago Chicken Ranch is one of my favorites. Flavorful and also, you can have the option of having it as a spicy patty. The frosties are awesome. It's basically a soft serve ice cream in a cup: nice and smooth. Also, have you ever tried dipping the fries in the frosties? It sounds odd, but it's oddly tasty. Not something I really like to do for all the fries, but like a couple pieces. Lastly, the bacon and blue burger. It was a limited edition burger, but when they had it- it was one of the best things I've had. The meat was soft and crumbly, nice and juicy. The blue cheese added to it was a perfect match. It was potent in flavor and danced well with the juices of the burger patty. I really wish that they bring it back again! :) This location isn't bad either. I wouldn't normally write a review of a fast food restaurant but this one deserved it. I noticed the last one star review was also given on a Sunday. The staff working on 10/16/11 during dinnertime was simply terrible. I've never seen such poor customer service and training ever in my 25 years of eating fast food. There is only one cashier, which is usually fine, if you have competent employees as this Wendy's isn't nearly as popular as other fast food chains like Subway or Mcdonalds. My experience today was deplorable. It took me probably around 25 minutes from the time I walked in to have my food in hand to go. If I had wanted to wait more than 10 minutes, I wouldn't have gone to a fast food joint. And it wasn't because it was busy either, when I had arrived, there was only one couple in front of me. However, it took about 4-5 minutes for their order to be taken (due to some complications with a discount), then another 2-3 minutes for my order to be taken. The two alternating cashiers seemed confused and were clearly in training as they had to call over their supervisor (who was manning the drive through) often. What made it extra long was that after taking my order, they mistakenly tossed my receipt from the order queues. And its not like it was a particularly busy night. As I said before, there was only one person ahead of me, and by the time I had left, only 2 other patrons had gone in to order. They also not only completely forgot my order, they also screwed up the order before AND after me. Forgot frosty on first order, gave wrong salad to next one. So that was three incorrect orders in a row, all served at a snails pace, all incorrectly. After finally alerting them to their mistakes, I repeated my order to them. I had hoped for at least some free upgrades or an apology but none was given. In fact, to top of the shitty service, when they asked one last time what my drink was, I replied Sprite. 5 seconds later I was handed a coke. I wanted to say something but figured I'd had enough and just left with my coke without a straw and no ketchup (even though I had asked for each. All in all, I don't plan on coming back to this location for a verrrry long time. Until they get their employees trained or fired, don't bother. read more
