I grabbed an onion bialy with cream cheese, and I am still thinking about it hours later. The flavor was unreal. It tasted like the best part of French onion soup, just without the soup. Rich, savory, and perfect with the cream cheese. Blissful is the only word that fits. My youngest went with an everything bagel, plain, and she lit up after the first bite. Soft, squishy, exactly how she likes it. She looked at me and said, "Dad, how come you haven't brought me here before?" I told her that sometimes, for great things, you have to wait in life. We also grabbed the nectar of the gods (Diet Coke) and an apple juice. Everything was packaged neatly, easy to grab and go, and the whole experience felt effortless and the people there are wicked nice! Hank's is officially in our rotation now.

Also, the manager should be checking the order before it goes out. This is happening far too frequently for a To-Go food shop.

In a recent interaction today, I attempted to place a delivery order and asked for very simple modifications as I always do, specifically adding onion and having sauce on the side. I was told these options were available on both the Noah's app and DoorDash, which was not the case. When I sought clarification, I was rudely and initially directed back to the app with incorrect information, and ultimately told to come in person if I wanted those basic requests accommodated. This response overlooks the main purpose of delivery services, and was condescending. Customers choose delivery because they are managing time constraints and responsibilities. Suggesting an in-person visit as the only solution defeats that purpose entirely, and is frustrating when someone is also responsible for a lunch order for others, and a customer's time is limited. As a result of this interaction, I lost approximately 15 minutes navigating inaccurate information, only to be left without a viable solution. More importantly, the tone of the interaction conveyed a lack of ownership and accountability, and was very immature and dismissive. Also, to be clear: this is not simply a customer service issue at the individual level. It points to a need for stronger training, clearer internal communication, and accountability around customer experience, and product knowledge. Employees should be equipped to accurately explain ordering channels, app capabilities, menu items/ingredients and be able to come up with reasonable alternatives when issues arise. As a manager, being on top of these things, would significantly improve both efficiency and customer satisfaction, especially for loyal customers who are willing to pay for convenience but expect a baseline level of competence and support in return. Lastly, please be mindful that, for example, turning away an average of 10 potential delivery customers per day due to your staff providing unhelpful and discourteous service, who are willing to spend $25-$50 per order, can result in significant annual losses for this store.

Racist worker named Saul. So we went during the day. It was a good experience. We decided before we left back to Phoenix, Arizona we would stop by at midnight to get some bagels to go. Some kid named Saul on his burgundy shirt was working. My boyfriend asked since they are out of the pizza jalapeño bagel if he can order a sandwich bagel but just put mozzarella and jalapeños on it. Charge us more it's cool. Saul said no. They don't bring jalapeños out for sandwiches and only use all their jalapeños in making the pizza bagel. Okay. Fine. Whatever. Then just a plain bagel and cream cheese. Then this skinny girl comes out and is making a bagel sandwich for someone. But we are the only customers. We don't say anything. Then Saul in Spanish whispers to her while she is melting something in the microwave. In Spanish but let me translate in English for the yelp people who don't speak Spanish, "The assholes don't even speak Spanish". Now you see Saul. You messed up. Cause we are from Phoenix doesn't mean we don't speak Spanish dummy. In fact. My guy was born in Mexico you raciest jerk. You literally are talking bad about us. And we understand you. First I want to say that if you like bagels, then this is the place to get some delicious well made bagels with lots of different flavors. But if youre looking for great customer service that puts their customers first, this is not the place to go. I spoke to someone in the company shortly after making my order and had a slight concern on something that I had noticed. The person proceeded to answer my question but in a way that didnt make sense to my question. Therefore I proceeded to discussed the findings that I had discovered and had questions and concerns about. Upon doing so the person decided to not only not answer my question, I got my order completely canceled. Second, I was bribed with more products when stated that I will be writing a review in regards to this negative experience. In conclusion, the company seems to be hiding something that they cant andwer truthfully on. Western Bagel is my go-to bagel spot in the Valley! Their bagels are always fresh and consistently delicious. I usually grab a mix of everything, onion, sesame, cinnamon raisin, and cheese -- and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. Their garlic herb and onion cream cheeses are my absolute favorites, and the lox is always super fresh and flavorful. When I received my bagel, it was cold and clearly hadn't been toasted, unlike my partner's, which came out hot and visibly toasted. For some reason bagels taste waaayyyyy better when they're munched down in the early early AM. I walked in today around noon knowing that they close early. I wish they were open at least until 3 or 4pm like other bagel shops are. Got a somewhat friendly hello from Benito and he took my order. Let me not forget to mention that they have their favorite/regular customers and I don't know whether or not I fit in that category. The service here can be hit or miss. Place was somewhat clean, I had to clean my own table and there were some tables inside and outside that needed to be cleaned. Nice music was playing overhead and the atmosphere can be a little more soothing and warm. Food came out very quickly. Ordered their Onion Bagel Plain Shmear add Egg, $3.99 American Cheese, $1.29, Everything Bagel $4.69 Plain Shmear, add egg $3.99 add small slice of tomato for 0.99. Also, got their small 100% Orange Juice & their yummy, creamy spread.. Honey Almond. For all this the price came out to be $31.73 including tax and tip not included. EXPENSIVE!! You can get a dozen eggs from your local grocery store for just the add-on eggs on my bagels. My food was nicely toasted and everything was right with my order. It tasted DELICIOUS, FRESH, and the portions could have been just a little bigger. I will still go back to this place & instead of getting 2 add-on eggs on each bagel, I will only get one. They also do catering, pickup/to-go orders, and third party apps as well. There are many bottled beverage options as well, such as juice, water, etc... Parking lot is always full, shared with a lot of other businesses and has one gender neutral restroom.

Unfortunately, my experience with the staff was not great. I finally decided to go to this location and have a sit down me all there. The service was really slow and unfriendly. It was annoying but you have to ask for everything. Including napkins. When we came in it was not busy and we ordered three sandwiches and it took about 20 to 25 minutes to receive them. The staff was not friendly, they kind of seemed annoyed we were there. On top of that, the bathroom was unavailable due to repairs. The sandwiches were good, but the overall experience was sour and could definitely be improved.
