Atmosphere: 4/5 Wet Willie's is set up to have a good amount of seating for customers and not be crowded when at the table. This establishment had seating looking out towards the river to be able to see all the incoming boats and people that are walking by. If you choose to sit outside, there is accommodations to make that possible. The multiple levels of seating inside as well as the artwork on the walls make this seem as welcoming place to be at. The only down side of this establishment are the ceilings looking like they do. Service: 4/5 The waitress that we had stopped by our table enough times to feel like we were taken care of but not too much to where we felt annoyed. Our table took some time deciding on some things when ordering and the waitress was patient enough to coke back after some time. We were made to feel at home by the hospitality that this establishment showed. Food: 4/5 When I heard that this place was known for their frozen drinks, I didn't think much about the food and maybe even thought it would be a aerate at best. I was wrong. I ordered the sliders and they were cooked to perfection. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasted great. My table also ordered the nachos which turned out to not only look great but taste great too. The drink I got was called the pink flamingo which is essentially a Miami vice and this was great as well. A downside I did find was they had ketchup in little cups when you receive your food. I would've liked to have a bottle on the table like normal restaurants have, but this wasn't a huge deal. Cost: 4/5 With my table ordering nachos and sliders as well as drinks, the bill was a lot lower than o would've expected for how it tasted. You can expect to spend about $10-$20 for a food item off the menu and $10-$15 for a drink depending on the size and make of it. These are great prices especially for it being right on the river as well as it being so good. Overall: 4.2/5 This was another great restaurant that I encourage viewers to go for both of the food or just a drink. I haven't been in years but the food is still the same, delicious! I got the gumbo and it was the perfect level of hot & spicy goodness. That bowl of gumbo warmed my heart and body when I needed it the most because their air conditioner definitely works in there. I am just cold-natured lol. We were on a short trip to Tybee Island and came to Riverfront Savannah and stopped in at the Wet Willie's on the Riverfront for my husband's birthday, which isn't until tomorrow. We had the best experience, Paul was our bartender and was on top of his game and was very pleasant and personable. We continued to then walk around downtown Riverfront and ended up back at Wet Willie's and we were happy to see that Paul was still working. Again, he was over and above and treated us very nicely. I feel like Wet Willie's is a staple beverage when in Savannah. You can definitely get tipsy off these sugary and boozy daiquiris if you're not careful! Once you're carded, you can try different daiquiri flavor samples. Especially if you're considering blending different flavors together, you can request to try them together before buying a full pour. Everyone's got different preferences - boozy versus sweet versus tart. So definitely try different flavors to find your favorite! I find that different flavors at different locations could be a little different, whether it's a little boozier or a little lighter sweeter. Either way, I find all the daiquiris at Wet Willie's to be potent and a great way to get the party going or continuing from boozy brunch! I liked Wet Willie's. First of all, the name is fun. Add to that, they have fantastic adult slushies. Walking along River Street in the tourist area of Savannah, Wet Willie's offers fun cocktails and casual nosh. We got a few slushies and and a couple of appetizers for our group. I wasn't expecting much given the location and looks of the place. I was really surprised. It was late afternoon so it wasn't busy. The girl out front was very fun and welcoming. One friend went in to get our order while we hung around outside. We ended up sitting under a big tree in the shade and enjoyed our great snack. The apps were piping hot. We had the quesadilla and the mozzarella bites. The drinks were fruity and ice cold. Later that night, walking back to our hotel, there was a crazy long line to get in. It is Cherry and strawberry flavors blended with plenty of 190º grain alcohol and Premium® rum. The second time I had a Wonder Woman which is the triple play of Call-A-Cab, Attitude Improvement (A tangy orange taste complemented by 190º grain alcohol, Premium® rum, and Premium Select®), and Shock Treatment (mix of lemonade, Blue Curaco, and 190º grain alcohol). Alas they didn't have one but directed me across the street to Wet Willie's, and now I'm glad they did. Wet Willie's is a kind of modern update looking place as a sort of pop culture daiquiri bar, and as daiquiri bars go, Wet Willie's is really over the top when it comes to choices. I have no idea of exactly how many choices they have but it is lot of them. Being in Georgia, however, I went for what I was told to be their local classic: "The Peach," but for my dearly beloved traveling companion an: "Attitude Adjustment." My "Peach" was a really good concoction of a peach like flavored mystery something along with a more than healthy dose of Bacardi rum. As for the "Attitude Adjustment," it was of a 190 grain alcohol, orange and Bacardi. I must say, it worked on him. Attitude was adjusted. However, if you have particular knacks or desires to fulfill, they have lists and are more than pleased to let you choose what you would like in your drink. Also located at the river walk at the Savannah downtown this area is a challenge for parking so be aware. They have ID check at the door. so do not forget to bring yours. the slushies here are all spiked and they seem to be the most popular spot in the area. they are a bit expensive but their slushies are pretty nice for sure. go big or go home so order the larger size, the bartenders here get pretty busy so you can be waiting for service for a long while so just go ahead and get the larger drink size. you are allowed to get out of the store and drink your slushy on the street so there is no reason not to get the large one. I could not find a menu, they have various ways to drink this. you can have the ones that are pre made and you can see the names on the machines, you can have them mixed however you want or you can have the specialty mixes that they have on their menu. I did not see a Manu at all the entire time I was there so these menus are probably for tables I will assume. PINA COLADA+PEACH- I got a mix that I asked for and I was very pleased, the amount of alcohol is perfect you will feel it by the time you finish the drink. if you want to get a nice and refreshing drink to enjoy your weekend this is your first stop for sure. read more
