So I've never left a review about it, but for the last 2 years Whataburger in Rockport has really struggled with having SOUR unsweetened tea pretty much every night around midnight! I'll ask them when was your unsweetened tea made, "oh it's not fresh" well I'm 5-6 cars deep so could you put a fresh batch on, instead of serving everyone SOUR tea. Then they give you a nice BIG glass of tea so SOUR you can smell it, then throw their hands up and say due to Covid 19 we can't take it back, then why in the hell did you give me a HUGE glass of SOUR tea?!?!? Come on Whataburger get it together!!! read more

Pretty lousy customer service. The wait was fairly long about 10 minutes from when we ordered, no big deal, assuming the food would be hot. I ordered a combo and and all was fresh and good. My girlfriend ordered a combo at the same time cold bun, room temperature burger and fries. She was rightfully annoyed when I showed her the temperature of my order and went to ask for a refund. Here is the kicker the cashier just issued it and said, sorry. No regard to why. I won't be going back to this whataburger. It is likely mainly sustained by tourists. I can see why this Whataburger has such a low rating. Sat in slot 4 for 15 minutes waiting on my order. The whataburger app said it should take 5 minutes but it took 15. I told the server it was late and she said they were waiting on fresh French fries. NOT TRUE!!! The fries were cold. We live exactly 5 minutes from the Rockport Whataburger...door to door. Had a Whataburger Jr today and was very disappointed. The hamburger meat was about as thick as tissue paper. What is going on?

Not impressed I think it's like any other whataburger nothing special. Slow service but staff was nice I think lobby was closed couldn't tell because there was not a big sign on the door. We ordered two items and it took them a little bit to get our orders like seriously. read more

Terrible, just terrible. You've been warned-if you pull in and there are 3 cars ahead of you - that is a 20 minute wait- 30 if they have to fix your order - and they will have to fix it. The food is standard whataburger but the experience is a frustration filled nightmare. Random items in your order, multiple tries for them to get your order correct and it still isn't quite right. No excuse for the turn around time - they say they are very busy but frankly, it's just poorly managed. They are all frazzled at the overwhelming number of cars and guests. read more

Have been here many times before. Never had any problems. Food was good, service was good. We went Saturday 11/16 and what a disaster. We went in and ordered. I had the double green chili cheese burger and my wife ordered the Jr green chili cheese burger. While waiting for our order, which took about 20 minutes to get, over 100 school age kids came in. They kept on coming. How many were in there? 150? 200? Full occupancy is supposed to be 72. Now let me be clear. These kids were very polite and full of manners. I just think the school staff and the store manager would have limited the amount of people occupying the store. No one could hardly move in there. I heard that the Dairy Queen next door was the same way. I guess lesson learned, don't go there on a Saturday. We will be back to try again. 12/10/13. Went back again. This will be my last time here. Worst burger ever. We do like Whataburger, but this one is terrible. read more

This is consistently the slowest WB anywhere from Laredo to Stillwater. It is the only game in town and they know it. 4th consecutive time in a row they messed up the order... And of course we were miles away by then. Sonic and DQ stink, but are better than this hole. read more

Dinner at this location yesterday around 5pm. Greeted by 3 employees having a smoke break. Had to fan the air to get inside. Clerk at counter was dealing with another customer trying to get his order corrected. Overheard him and another customer voicing disgust with service. Food arrived along with several young people looking for their friends, language, loud, counter clerk interacting with them, loudly. Not very professional. I know they are kids, but no supervision! Someone should have been in control to teach them better service skills. read more

This location is a pretty good example of a well run Whataburger. Our orders came out about as quickly as possible and were delivered to our table by a polite lady. The restaurant was clean and tables were bused as soon as customers left. We both had the mushroom swiss burger and they were served to us hot and delicious. Okay so this is a pretty standard whataburger. Or maybe slightly less than standard. My sandwich wad kind of smushed when I removed it from the sack and it was lukewarm. As others have mentioned, the service is also slow, even when it doesn't appear to be that busy. I mean there's really no reason to completely dodge attending this whataburger altogether, I just wouldn't recommend expecting too much from it, or you'll be disappointed. read more
