Impromptu date night with the HoneyMister. He's been here before, my first time. I was very impressed with our Bar Tender Tevin. Very kind guy and he helped my husband make a choice for a "different" beer. Between Tevin and Juan, the cook, they made us up a plate that we really enjoyed. Food is so very tasty. BTW....The All American Burger is now one of my favs. It was cooked exactly how I asked, with exactly what I wanted on it. Most bar food is just ok. NOT TODAY! I give it a 4/5 on my YUMMIFIED scale. Stopped in last night - great atmosphere - loved the music. Menu is typical bar food - would be nice if they had salads and maybe a steak or grilled chicken. Was a little pricey and the service was not great at all. Waitress seemed very ditzy. Took a long time to get drinks and food. Came here when they first opened and was not impressed. Decided to give it another try recently...still not impressed. Sorry to say it but I felt very uncomfortable. A few white guys at the bar kept turning around and looking at us like we didn't belong. I mean cmon now have you not seen a Mexican before? This is by far the best country bar I've ever been too. Top it off that it's the only country bar in Redlands makes it even nearer! I am OBSESSED with the atmosphere. As a downtown Redlands frequent bar attendee, I recently fell in love with Whiskey Republic. I feel safe when I come in because they card everyone walking in. The bartenders are so sweet and attentive. Doesn't hurt that they're all freaking beautiful! EMILY is one of my favorites! She treats us like family. She's gorgeous and always has the best attitude and outfit!!!! My husband and I come once a week. Our bartenders always treat us like VIP. Shout out to Melissa the bartender. We barely get to see her, but when we do, she is the most hospitable and experienced. She knows how to make all my random shot requests. Over all... this place is dope! Very cool spot. We have been here a couple of times before for evening appetizers and cocktails. A pleasant experience in the past. We decided to try the brunch since our friend was entertaining. My wife made a reservation, and we were ready to go. We arrived with no host to greet us. We had a table reserved, but we thought that it would be in the area where the entertainment was taking place. We did find someone to assist, but the reserved table was in the area nearer the bar, not near the stage. They found us an area in the stage area with a coffee table and chairs that were lower to the ground, but we were able to see the singers. We ordered Bloody Mary's, but they were a little too vinegary (or salty)... we couldn't describe it exactly. We then ordered food from their simple paper menu that looked like it was printed on regular copy paper earlier that morning. I ordered Pozole. The food took a while. Everyone received their food, but the Pozole didn't come out. Come to find out, they didn't have Pozole available. The lack of Pozole was disappointing, but they tried to substitute menudo for it. I know that many people enjoy menudo... this is not a dish that I was looking forward to. It was a difficult visit, to be sure, but I will chalk it up to a lack of staff. The entertainment drew a pretty good amount of patrons for the staff to effectively serve, and they weren't ready for that amount of customers. As you can see, even though the experience was not what I would call pleasant, the lack of 5 stars was not due to the ultimate customer service... it was because they kept the pozole and quesadilla on their menu even though it was unavailable. Regarding customer service, they did make good on an otherwise uncomfortable visit, and we will most likely give them another shot. Sill... I'm not sure what they used as a base for their Bloody Mary's. read more

If your thinking about trying this place for the first time.... no... just no..... I was excited to try this place so I choose this for a date night with my boyfriend... Walked in and sat down... had to wait for a Waitress... my boyfriend asked what kinda beer they had on tab.... she didn't know.... I asked what kinda wine they had and she didn't know. Took forever to get our drink and even longer for her to come back and get our food order... we order onion rings and mozzarella sticks.... after forever we ask and she tells us the cook burnt out onion rings so he was re making them..... 30 min later she bring them and a couple mozzarella sticks and tells us the cook is making the marinara sauce and she would bring more mozzarella sticks when she brings the marinara.. never saw it!! Trying to get a drink was like we were bugging her.. so we asked for one more drink and the check.. she brings the check with the drink already charged but tells me I have to wait for my drink cause the bartender was busy taking pictures on stage for there Instagram.. im talking 4 unprofessional people on stage posing while paying customers are waiting..... while I have time I look over the bill and they charge me a "over ice" $1.00 charge per drink I ordered... wtf... I have never ever in my life seen an extra charge for ice... $80.00... horrible experience, service and food..... read more

The Service here is absolutely wonderful. They are very attentive. Even on busy nights it doesn't take very long to get a drink. The Food is delicious. The staff is extremely friendly. I did have one issue that was resolved very quick by the General Manage. He was helpful. Bashia was my bartender she went above and beyond to help me and understand different drinks. We went around 11 on a Saturday and the music was on, the TV's were going but you could have an easy conversation. We ordered the brisket sandwich, coleslaw and cornbread. All were fresh, good portions and tons of flavor. And, of course there was the whiskey. I like Whistle Pig and it was early so got a Coke and Whiskey.
