I have not been here for quite some time. So I decided after work to swing on by and try out their BBQ Burger, which I was craving for. Even though the looks of the burger seems somewhat big. However, once you bite through it the texture seems very soft and delicious. This includes the bun, the toppings and the patty. The patty was cooked just right (for me) by having a little pink in the middle meaning that it still had moist of its natural juiciness. Also noticing a slight taste of the BBQ sauce it self was just right and not over powering with sweetness. Well done guys! This meal really satisfied my hunger this evening. Would recommend this place if you are look for a good quality burger joint on the eastiside of Bellevue. I will be definitely coming back here. read more

Just had a late lunch after checking on the reviews beforehand. This place did not disappoint. Wibbleys is tucked away in a little commercial designed area in bellevue. The outside and inside is nothing spectacular, but honestly I found oftentimes places need to have this look or atmosphere to make up for average food. Not here. Let's talk about the food. I got the picante burger that had the kick of Chipotle and jalopenos. Wasnt overcooked and all of the condiments were cloaked nicely with the bun. Yes, this burger had a bit of a kick. :) the French fries were on point. Not sure but almost looked like they were home cut. So a good late lunch that is affordable. Okay first off they have PURSE HOOKS! Thank you Wibbley's! They offer high top tables like many restaurants but this places is thoughtful enough to offer a purse hook! Thank you!!! Next, they're closed on Sundays! Good for them! I like when places take days off. Take a day off; family time and the sabbath are important. Third, the food. First time there and we'd go back. I have visited the restaurant next to Wibbley's for years. They are so good I can never go past them. But in a moment of weakness for enjoying a French fry, I walked into Wibbley's. I did not know the restaurant has been in business for 30 years! After taking my first bite, I knew why! My son (So Cal) and I had (Cabo) both our burgers with chicken instead of beef. The chicken was super moist and tender. You could get the aroma of the flame grill. The bun was fresh and soft. And the host was very helpful and friendly. I added jalapeños to my burger (highly recommend if you like the zing). We also added a side salad (nothing out of the ordinary) and the holy grail of garlic Parmesan fries (both thick cut, yet crispy). One tip: Order the Wibbley's sauce. read more

The fried mushroom was a bit hard, which hurts my teeth somewhat.. it's crispy outside and juicy inside, so it's delicious. I haven't been to kid valley for a while, but I think theirs is better. The full fries has a gigantic portion, so order half if u aren't a fries maniac. Price: 4 stars $6.19 for a standard burger (before tax), then u can add other stuff with some sir charges (like American cheese for 40 cents more). However, I don't think u can customize it since they pre-set the type of burger u can get. With that said, if u want a burger with a ton of stuff, places like five guys may be more suitable for you. The price is much more friendly compare to kid valley though. Ambiance: 4 stars They were playing Christmas music in the restaurant and the ambiance is pretty relaxing/laid-back. I am, however, not a fan of high chairs though. The decor and lighting is more on the dark/romantic side, which is interesting for a burger place. They also have several chairs by the entrance for people waiting for their pick-up orders. During our time there, there are people walking in constantly. I guess it's a popular local burger place. I stopped in today for lunch and this is a tasty burger! I got a bacon cheeseburger (with no lettuce or tomato) and extra pickles and some fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were excellent. The burger was very good. My only small complaint is that their burger sauce was described as a thousand island dressing - but it tasted like plain mayo with just some pickles. No seasoning that I could discern. And there wasn't much sauce on the burger. So I added some ketchup to my burger and a bit more of the sauce to make it a bit more like a thousand island dressing. Everything done right with fresh toppings, soft bun and cooked medium. Beef comes from local organically raised farms. The garlic fries were great. Plentiful portion, flavorful and hot. Yummy burger spot. Been here many times. I usually get the same thing: South of the Border substitute grilled chicken. For take out I order it "dry" meaning no sauces. That ensures it doesn't get soggy by the time I eat it. Wibbley's onion rings are awesome as well. Not overly battered or fried. The employees are always super friendly. First time ordering from Wibbley's, and I SO wanted to love the mushroom burger I chose. Unfortunately, while there were mushrooms and sautéed onions on the burger per my order, the whole burger turned out to be rather forgettable. Actually, it was disappointing. One bite and I realized whomever put the burger together apparently thought it would be fine to serve it on a charcoal bun! The offending bun was burned to a crisp and presented a terrible flavor and aftertaste. I took the top off (pictured), but had to keep the bottom half on because the construct was messy and falling apart. Burned bottom half aside, I struggled to find any flavors that might suggest a tasty burger, only to be further disappointed. Now I find myself asking, what kind of "gourmet burger" restaurant would allow something so basic and critical as the foundation of their burgers to burn to charcoal, then actually pass that on to their customer? Did they think I wouldn't notice? To what else do they give a pass? I will say that their fried mushrooms are pretty yummy and would order them again if ever I gave Wibbley's a second chance. This is the go-to burger spot with my always hungry kids. Solid burgers and fries, quick service and my wallet is not crying when it's time to settle the bill. My favorite has become the Picante burger and onion rings. My kids will often get a double patty cheeseburger which they devour in minutes. Sometimes burgers don't agree with me (I know McDonald's and five guys makes me feel sick) so the fact that my body doesn't feel like crap after eating something this delicious is awesome!
