    Lobster roll and clam chowder
    Fiveski E.

Walked from the hotel to Wicked Lobsta in Boston, but it wasn't worth it. The lobster roll was average for the price, the clam chowder was terrible and the service felt rude and unwelcoming. Not a place I'd go back to.

Stopped by Wicked Lobsta during a trip for Red Sox Opening Day with a friend who needed the full Boston experience and that obviously means a proper lobster roll. Been here a few times , so it was a no brainer that still delivers. Went with the hot butter roll because that is the only way to do it and it was exactly what you want rich, fresh, and on point. Added the lobster mac and cheese to round things out. It was good, just didn't hit quite as hard as I remember. My friend left happy though, so that's a win. If you haven't been it's def a spot worth checking out!

Thank you for such a delicious hot butter lobster roll, my first one ever although I have been to Boston many times for family visit. I wish I bought one more. Definitely will get for my family to try when I will be back soon!

Lobster rolls are a must when in Boston. I like coming to Quincy market and exploring the different shops. This visit I chose wicked lobsta because he stopped us and had us try the clam chowder. My youngest loves clam chowder and the taste of the sample was so delicious we wanted more. I ended up getting the seafood sampler special that came with 4 lobster rolls (lobster, mixed seafood, seafood salad and crab) 2 clam chowders and 2 drinks. For $49.99 this was definitely a deal for Boston. As we waited for our order we walked around to see what other ships were nearby and to my surprise he came out and walked our order to us! What great service!

When in Bastan, try the Labsta! It's pretty pricy no matter where you go. The lobster roll we had was fresh and delicious! The staff were very kind to let us try the bisque and the clam chowder before deciding too! One of the best spots in Quincy market!

This restaurant is located in Quincy Market. It's a busy market, with lots of food choices. It was crowded with lively music. We ordered the sampler that came with four rolls, 2 clam chowders and 2 drinks for $49.99. This was a deal. The rolls were filled with the various seafood (lobster, shrimp, tuna and crab mix). Our order came out quick and it was all delicious. It was our first stop in food, and it was great choice. Definitely will recommend.

My first ever lobster roll, and this spot couldn't have made me love the dish more! With the ambiance of Quincy Market, eating here will make you feel like a true Bostonian. While the price is steep, the portions are actually quite large and the quality is great, so I'd definitely recommend this roll, it's more than just a tourist trap for sure! Additionally, the service here was fast, accommodating, and extremely friendly! I helped host a large event here with some of my friends, and purchasing a large catering order was made super easy by the helpful staff. Overall, the experience felt joyful and celebratory, and I'd certainly come back with friends or family for a trusted comfort lobster roll any day of the week!

Wicked Lobsta is located inside Quincy Market. My friend and I were excited to come here since we heard great things about it, especially the lobster roll. Came here on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. There isn't seating for Wicked Lobsta specifically, but plenty of tables in Quincy Market. We both ordered the Hot Lobsta Roll Special which comes with a lobster roll, small soup, and a drink of choice. Our food came out quickly and we were able to find a table to eat at. The soup was the New England Clam Chowda. It had good flavor, but was thinner than expected. The lobster roll was just okay. The bread was crispy on the top but very soggy on the bottom from the butter. The lobster was slightly sweet, but the texture was off. Some pieces were cooked well while others were rubbery. Overall, giving Wicked Lobsta a 3.5/5. Food is good but inconsistent. Our meals were very pricey for what we got. Service was good. Food came out quickly and staff were nice. We're glad we were able to try it.

A DIY food court set up with a college vibe. My teen discover the lobster rolls, lobster Mac & cheese and crab cake all wonderful at a better price. Thumbs up

Located in the Food Hall is Wicked Lobsta. We elected this place based on ratings and prices. We think we made a great decision. The bread bowl with the chowder was so soft. It was really good. The staff was friendly and offered us samples of the chowder. It was the best tasting of the samples that we tried. This is a fun lively experience and it has plenty it offer.

Came back here after about 4 years away. I remembered how much I loved it last time. This time I went for lobster pie. Honestly it was really good. I definitely devoured it. I remember the lobster roll being a better choice. This didn't seem as special as that was. Plus prices have nearly doubled since my last trip here which is certainly more indicative of the economy. It's still really good quality. But at that price I'm a little more likely to pivot to a steak tip dinner somewhere. Or, maybe get a shrimp roll here which is far cheaper and likely pretty good.

I walked through the market reading lobster roll descriptions 3 times and finally settled on Wicked Lobstah because it noted the "buttered brioche bun and extra butter". I didnt notice whether or not the bun was buttered but some of the bottom of it was saturated with butter. The roll was good but just not worth the $38, in my opinion. I know it's LOBSTER and that seemed like the going price, it just didn't give me the satisfaction I hoped for. Food was made to order and service was quick.

We came here for a very quick bite, knowing that we needed to show up for a ghost tour in just a short time. It's in Faneuil Hall, which really is just a huge food court, with some touristy items on kiosks along the side. There were several places with seafood, and we randomly picked this one. We got: *Lobster bisque--very thin and runny. *Crab cakes--they were okay. Lots of filler (bread crumbs??), but cooked well *Shrimp scampi--the shrimps were big and the garlic butter was delicious. It was fine. Not great, not bad, just okay. It fed us, but is definitely not a place I would go back to. Hubby was spot on when he said that we ordered fast food and got fast food.

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience here. We ate here on Sunday. They open at 11:30am. Around opening time, the owner came out and personally greeted everyone as they came into the restaurant. He was so friendly. He greeted passers-by on the street and talked with the locals. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They provided recommendations and offered suggestions. We sat at a window table and were able to see out at the boats. It was cute and quaint inside! I got a cup of the clam chowder. I 100% recommend it! They add dill and omit the pork, which made it so delicious! My friend and I split the fish and chips, and it was more than enough for two people. The fish was cooked perfectly and the fries (chips) were crispy without being too crunchy. We added a bit of pepper to our fish, and my goodness does that make a difference. Boston Sail Loft was a great send-off restaurant to end our Boston trip. Thanks again to our new friends from Boston for the recommendation. Our server gave me useful info on the local beers. The platter had a delicious mix of scallops, shrimp, clams and fish. The chowder has a lot of dill in it, but wow...it's the best chowder I had on my trip. My wife loved her large lobster...tons of meat.

Unless you wanna wait an hour or so, it's best to arrive 30min before they open to beat the rush. It's incredibly cramped and rushed inside, and you may need to share a table with others if you're a smaller party. Food is quite pricey but well worth it. We ordered the oysters (they've got a variety so you can choose), clam chowder, lobster roll, cioppino, and johnnycake. Oysters were fine, but the clam chowder was absolutely dismal. Not sure what happened, especially since it's so highly rated, but it was extremely watery and almost completely unseasoned. It could've definitely used salt at the very least. If I didn't know it was from Neptune, I'd have given it a 2/10. To my relief, the lobster roll was the total opposite. Succulent, juicy, heavenly. It was like being in Maine. The cioppino was also very good. The Johnnycake was an interesting but fun way to end the meal. It's a sweet pancake-like cornmeal covered in a syrupy glaze and topped with smoked bluefish paste, crème fraiche and caviar. I've never had anything like it. Nothing was super overpriced, but I personally prefer next door (Paulini's), which is much cheaper and while it isn't as good, it also doesn't require waiting in an hour in line. Lobster pasta: enjoyable overall but the lobster tasted rubbery/overcooked. It might be better if they just toss the lobsters in towards the end instead of cooking it so much. The lobster meat portion was very generous. Overall, I was not disappointed, but also I wasn't super impressed.

For over $100, you would expect the lobster fra diavolo to be fresh, but it was a huge let down. Severely overcooked and tough, but worst of all, not fresh! It stank of sulfur and tasted bitter which raises concerns about food safety. The other components of the dish were equally underwhelming--overcooked shrimp, tiny mussels and clams, and way-too-thin sauce. The calamari was the best part of the dish. The side of bread didn't taste fresh baked, and the Caesar salad was basic. I am giving stars based solely on location, service, and concept.
