I've been going to Quincy Market as the place to take my touristy friends when they're in town for some time. I always make sure to highlight Wicked Lobsta because their lobster bisque is insanely delicious! They have a very decent lobster roll here but I think there are better deals elsewhere. Lots of people come here for them and they are delicious but I really recommend not skipping the lobster bisque! It's extremely creamy but balanced and has rich lobster flavor. Clearly this is a tourist destination and the pricing reflects it. Close to about $80 for 1x cold lobster roll, 1x hot lobster roll, 1x corn, clam chowder and 1x clam chowder. Taste wise, my wife and I liked the cold version the best. Layers of lobster mixed with refreshing veggies made it worth while. The hot version was adequate but no where near the flavor profile of the cold version. My wife and thought the soups tasted fresh but were void of any herbs and seasonings one would expect from a good chowder. For sub $30 , yes this would be worthwhile, I understand the cost needs to change with the market- so if it was under $40 I would understand. But with tax it was $50 and change.... For eating standing up in the food hall and it just being ok, no I would say this isn't worth the price. I believe it's ~32 for the hot lobster roll special which includes a small side of clam chowder and a drink of choice. This compared to ~30-36 for just the roll at other places is a steal. The bun is toasted and buttery; the lobster itself is a variety of claw and tail meat and buttered. Just a delicious lobster roll. The clam chowder is also delicious! I made her suffer the wit and humor my family has suffered for many years and she simply smiled and replied in kind! It made my day! Keep in mind that while several of the seafood joints in Quincy Market all might have different names, I believe they're all actually controlled by the same owner as they all use the same packaging and have the same names for menu items.
