We had an absolutely wonderful lunch here on a gorgeous day in the shade of the covered deck (uncovered also available). Our server, Erin Klein, was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with the menu, that our experience was really flawless! (Although they were out of Proseco, but that wasn't her fault.) I was torn between 2 entrees and she expertly guided me to an incredible piece of fish (Mahi) that was one of the specials. Also gave my husband awesome advice on types of beer. We had a great dinner here. The bang bang grouper and avocado spring rolls were yummy as appetizers! The grilled seafood platter with shrimp, scallops, crab cake and grouper was wonderful! One person in our party had a beet salad with grouper added on and it was artistically presented and delicious. The only reason I gave it a four star and not a five star rating is that we sat in the back bar area and it was really cold. But it was only 28 degrees outside. This restaurant is in a fabulous spot with to die for water views! Before yesterday I had only been in the outdoor bar area. I went inside for lunch on the back deck as my daughter was visiting. The server Kirsten was full of knowledge, professional and friendly. The food we had was local shrimp and very good!!! I was also very impressed how enviro friendly they are. DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. OK I just wanna start off by saying that I am a student at a nearby college and I frequently visit this restaurant. Every time prior to this recent experience has been awesome. Today end of May 2020 my boyfriend and I went for a couple drinks after dinner. I understand all the corona rules and how everything is being disrupted because of it but the experience that I had at this restaurant was inappropriate and completely uncalled for. After I just spent seven dollars on a drink a dog split it so I walked back in the exit entrance to quickly tell the bartender so I didn't have to wait in line for another 10 minutes to get a replacement. Another customer in regular clothes drinking by the side of the bar proceeded to tell me that I couldn't go that way I then continued to walk that way to go back in line and she started yelling "ohhh she's a rebellion don't serve her". I then got my replacement drink which the bartender on duty had no problem with replacing and continued to walk through their mandatory lines of service. As I was walking out this woman stopped in front of me and said I love that you're a rebel but don't ever do that again with a little smirk on her face. I then proceeded to say you don't have your uniform on and you're not on the clock so do not tell me what to do hence why I didn't listen to you. As I was walking out she then called me a f****** fat a**. I turned told her that was extremely inappropriate and that there was no reason for it because all I had said to her was you didn't have your work uniform on and it continue to be a big problem. I then went inside to talk to management they did nothing about it however they said that they would. Once they found her they were laughing with her as if it was no big deal. Their entire argument was she's not on the clock so there's nothing that they could do about it in the moment, however she's sitting there drinking enjoying her night and I'm a paying customer just as much as she is yet she's also an employee had thrown that in multiple peoples faces throughout the night. The way the that the situation was handled was not immediate and I'm truly disgusted that they have employees whether their on the clock or not that talk to customers like that. read more

I was very disappointed on the way the management handled that my pants got ruined by their negligence. They served drinks with black napkins. The waitress was aware that the dye from the black napkins turns your hands black from condensation off the glass, which dripped all over my pants. Just a small gesture would have made me a very happy customer. I asked if there was something they could do for me or for a small discount off my bill. 10% ($7.00) off my bill. The manager's answer given was "nope" and walked away. No apology, just a simple "NOPE". I asked for the owners name and the manager denied me that request. This place is located in a great place on the inlet. The view is nice and in the summer I can see the outside being very popular. The place was kept very clean and the ambiance was nice. The food however was subpar. I ordered two roles and edamame. The edamame was over cooked and mushy. The Spivey tuna roll and California roll were very sloppy and the rice was undercooked. I would recommend SOHO for sushi. I tried the potato fries that a friend ordered and they were amazing. Service was okay but the waiter forgot to take the order of a few friends dining with me, only to return a few minutes later to realize he did not take their order. Food came out in random waves. Some people got their apps and entrees before others. Also water glasses should be filled without the server asking a question as these are proper steps of service. As someone that has worked in the restaurant business for many years I would not recommend this place for the food but I would recommend it for the view and drinks at the bar. read more

I come here when I want to overpay for my lunch and look at the water and really don't expect to be wowed. It's not bad, it's just not good either. If it were about half the price of what they charge, then it wouldn't really matter. I also don't mind paying a high price tag on a lab excellent meal, but this is just not great. But like I said you will consistently get an average meal here. I've probably been here about 6 times and I've never had anything truly terrible, but also never had anything really good. Waaay overpriced for the quality of food. I ordered the Marshwalk and was very disappointed. The dish came out cold so it was sent back. The second attempt was fine (temp) but the quality was poor. The cut of meat was tough with the Lobster having the consistency of mashed potatoes. The flavor was bland and flat. The ice in my water had more flavor. The wait staff was very slow and inattentive. Ordered the grilled seafood platter: the catch of the day (snapper) was fresh, the grilled shrimp and crabcake were great. I didn't care for the sauce they drizzled on the crabcake, but that was easy enough to scrape off. The 'whipped' mashed potatoes were OK. Pricing is definitely on the higher end for serving size, but I guess you're paying for the view.
