Went here for lunch with my friend. The only good thing about this place was its great service. I didn't get the guys name but he was extremely nice, friendly, and went above and beyond delivering great service with a smile and willingness to help without any attitude. Even though that this is not a full service restaurant, we asked for sauces and he was happy to bring it even though it was placed for us to pick up at the front. I ordered the tuna wrap. It tasted ok, nothing special. It came with lots of fries. My friend ordered turkey club and she said was good but I didn't try it. A few hours later until the following day, I had severe upset stomach and nausea and dizziness. I think something was wrong with the tuna wrap because I didn't eat anything else that day.

We ordered the pastrami sandwich with chips, clam chowder bread bowl and the king pastrami burger with fries. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and they give a generous amount of pastrami in their sandwiches. The chips that came with it were my favorite. They were freshly fried potato chips. Super crispy and yummy. The king pastrami burger was also delicious! The flavors of the burger all blended well together and they gave a lot of pastrami as well. The clam chowder bowl was flavorful and had the perfect amount of creaminess. Service was excellent! The server came to check in on us and made sure our tables were clear of any finished plates. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors at the restaurant!

I didn't think that Wild Carvery would have good salad options but I was wrong. The grilled shrimp salad that I ordered was filling and delicious. The serving was huge and I appreciated that the staff was able to accommodate my request to swap cheeses. The burger that my husband ordered was also scrumptious. The place was clean and spacious. I liked that the staff quickly wiped down each table after it was vacated. Overall, a solid choice for those looking for yummy salads and sandwiches in downtown Burbank.

Hugely disappointed after hearing so many good things about their ribeye and pastrami burger. The food ended up being bland, overly salty, cold, and honestly nowhere near worth the price. We came on a weekend for brunch and they had already run out of menus at the front, so people in line were just standing there trying to figure out what to order with nothing to look at beforehand. The tables took a long time to be cleaned. Parking: Metered parking on the main street, but there's free parking at the garage near the AMC. Food: We got the Chilaquiles and Ribeye, Pastrami Burger, and two coffees, which was $72. For that price, I expected the food to have good flavor and quality. The coffee tasted super watered down, the pastrami burger was way too salty, and the fries came out cold. The ribeye was honestly the biggest disappointment. After hearing it was "the best ribeye around," I had high hopes and ordered it medium rare, excited to try it. The ribeye turned out to be a really small, thin cut of meat that was overcooked and tasted pretty cheap compared to how it's hyped up online. The chilaquiles were bland and soggy, and the beans were too. The whole meal just felt really underwhelming for the price. Service: Pretty minimal and slow. You order at the counter, grab a number, and they eventually bring the food out. Nobody checked in on us. Overall, Wild Carvery felt way overhyped from all the online reels and food posts. The food definitely did not live up to how it's portrayed online. The only thing I really liked was the location in downtown Burbank.

This is a restaurant where you order at the counter and sit down with a number. The staff brings the food to you when it is ready. They had country music blazing over the speakers. I did not mind it, but my family found it annoying. The portions are big, and they do not skimp on the meat. The food was really good and the service was really great! Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could.

If you're ever in Burbank and suddenly feel like your brunch standards are way too low, go to Wild Carvery. This place doesn't just make brunch--they make life decisions. We're talking about the steak and egg, which is so good it might ruin every other steak and egg you've ever had. Then there's strawberry banana French toast --because apparently regular French toasts just aren't dramatic enough. Everything's made with organic, natural ingredients, so you can feel healthy... while eating something the size of your head. Prices are affordable, and honestly, the portions are so big you might leave with dinner for later--or a new personality. It's got a chill vibe, friendly staff, and great people-watching. Basically, you come for brunch and leave questioning why you ever ate anywhere else.

Wild Carvery is on the list for Yelp's 100 Best Sandwiches in the country (ranked #30) and it's right here in Burbank! They serve organic and natural sandwiches so you can feel a bit cleaner when eating here. The staff is so friendly and so kind, which I'm sure is part of the reason people love Wild Carvery. Great service can turn a frown, upside down! They offered us joining their Rewards program right away, which we did, and it then awarded us $10 off our first visit. I love a deal! With mostly indoor seating, they do have a few tables outside and it's pretty good people watching. The staff found my friend and I sitting outside, bringing our whole meal right out to us which was nice. Both the Steak Panini with fries ($22) and the Steak Melt with fries ($22) were excellent and well portioned. The prices may feel a bit high to people but keep in mind the high quality ingredients being used, plus I had leftovers. My steak panini had shaved filet mignon, melted mozzarella cheese, garlic aioli, and tomatoes on a grilled ciabatta - loved it! I look forward to trying more on my next visit and accruing those rewards! Pro-Tip: It's walkable and right by the Burbank AMC Movie Theater so it's great for a pre or post movie meal.

I give this 5/5. We were the first customers. Hospitality was good and friendly. 5/5 Inside was clean even the bathroom was well maintained. Later on more and more people came in. Steak and eggs was cooked and seasoned well. Breakfast sandwich with fruits were just as good. Crunchy toasted bread and seasoned egg with something. Parking can be a challenge since it is by downtown Burbank. Overall it was a good experience here.

I love wild carvery. It's probably one of my top fave lunch places in Burbank. Though sandwiches are like $18ish+, I will say their portion size is big enough to justify the cost. I usually eat only half a sandwich and take the other half home for lunch the next day. I also think their chips are delicious!!! I'm a fan of their turkey club sandwich! I also have gotten several of their salads and they are equally large. Parking is easy either in the public parking lots behind the store. There's also street parking around the block or metered parking out front.

I had a fantastic experience at Wild Carvery in Burbank! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the inviting atmosphere, and the plenty of comfortable seating, that made it a great spot for both solo diners and groups. The place felt polished but relaxed, definitely a restaurant you can enjoy whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or to settle for a nice dinner. What really stood out to me was the FOOD of course! I tried two of their signature items. The King Pastrami Burger and their Jambalaya Pasta. And honesty, both were absolutely stellar. The King Pastrami Burger was a flavorful masterpiece: thick, juicy beef perfectly complemented by layers of smoky pastrami, melty cheeses, YES I said cheeses... and house-made sauce that brought everything together. Every bite was rich, bold, and incredibly satisfying. Easily one of the best burgers I've had in the area. Also! I did have the fries with the burger, and it had to be one of the best I've ever had!! They were damn near shoestring fries. They had a crunch and crisp that I won't forget about. Another must try. I was served a pesto like sauce with bread, this was incredibly good. I enjoyed it so much, that I kept going in for more! I even dipped my fry in this often. A unreal combo! The Jambalaya Pasta was a pleasant surprise as it was my first time having it! It was a unique fusion that worked beautifully. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the spices, and the cajun-inspired sauce had just the right kick without overpowering the other ingredients. Incredibly flavorful! Plump shrimp, savory sausage. It felt like a Southern classic with a modern twist, and I can't wait to have it again. The service was another highlight. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I never felt rushed, also everything was brought out in a quick turnaround time! Which was impressive during a busy dinner hour. Overall, Wild Carvery delivered on every spectrum. If you're in Burbank and craving bold flavors, this place should be on your radar. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

If you are looking for one of the BEST BURGERS in the business go to downtown Burbank and land in Wild Carvery at Burger enthusiasts must make this an absolute destination. This restaurant level business has outstanding cuisine . Surrounded by great downtown atmosphere and massive meal portions provided here. The Grub: The star of the menu IMO, and is the first thing listedbon their menu, their exceptionally massive "King" Pastrami Burger, 5/5 stars which flawlessly combines some of the "best I have ever had" pastrami with a tender Waygu cheeseburger. Their highly recommended (By fellow Yelpers of course) burgers seasoned and cooked to requested perfection. My role dog today also had the steak sandwich 5/5 stars which was sliced filet mignon on a ciabatta hoagie roll and described the steak as super tasty, with the mozzarella cheese and garlic aioli closing the deal. To compliment the burger and sandwiches they add a generous mountain of crispy fries 4.5/ 5 stars with your order,( cooked similiar in texture and size of In & Out Fries) Which means if the burger doesn't absolutely destroy your hunger pangs the mountain of fries at Wild Carvery guarantees that no one leaves their restaurant complaining of portions size. They also have a surf and turf Burger that I will return for anyway moving on. Lastly I had a Mexican Coke and that was the only downfall as I paid more than $7 for one bottle, I guess that's the price of luxury, but I had an option not to get it and still chose to do so, they also have complimentary cups and water and will offer you ice for your cup. A spectacular first visit and meal is only as good as its hospitality, and the front-of-house team at this establishment provides an exemplary standard of care. A very special shoutout goes to Nigel and Bernard, who deliver unparalleled customer service with warm smiles and attentive professionalism throughout the entire Behind the scenes, the kitchen staff (during my visit) deserves immense praise for their more than exceptional culinary skills that bring the amazing pictures on the menu to life. Felix and Marcello masterfully prepared our dishes from scratch, highlighting their skills. Food was so good I stuck my head in the kitchen to thank them all personally. TL:DR - Great burger, no parking, decent prices My fiance was craving a burger so we decided to try Wild Carvery. Located in downtown Burbank along that one strip with all the restaurants and no parking. At the time, I didn't know Wild Carvery was a chain, but it didn't really matter because they served up a top notch burger. I went with the King Pastrami Burger and it just K.O'd me. It is packed to the gills with meat, and eating just half of it, I could feel my arteries closing up. The burger was juicy the pastrami was juicy, and it was just exactly the type of flavor that you want when you bite into a burger. The burger was probably better than most restaurant burgers I have had. Just perfectly cooked with tons of flavor. It also came with a ton of chips and I found myself engorged by the time I finished it all. Here's my boomer take, no burger should cost more than $10. Coming in at $21 for the king pastrami the price is high, but in comparison to other burgers of this quality it's a good deal. Most other burger joints will charge around $18 for a plain burger. If you're looking for a good burger, try them out! read more

Had a midweek, early biz trip in Burbank, and I had my imaginary circle of this place in my head and brought the better half on opening. Was empty, parked right in front, yay. Evette was the polite cashier and server as we plunked 2 Jacksons and our asses on the patio chairs, respectfully, waiting for our breakfast burrito (me) and Nutella French toast (she). Burrito size was huge, and as much as I liked the hash browns surrounding inside, it's almost all that and eggs. You have to pay for each item not hash brown or egg, so 2 bucks for bacon which was very good (I mean, name me ONE place that serves nitrite free meats like this place!) but it was borderline comically miniscule amount inside; barely got 4-5 small bits/bites of bacon. Needs a LOT more balance with the meat ratio. But it was very good, the house salsa killer good. The house coffee is a hit, like it too. And 2 oddball cool spoons and Stevia brought without even asking (mind reading, I like that G).very good, Sampling the French Toast: even though I HATE Nutella; I cut-off the edges that didn't have any and liked what I tasted. Wish they were crisper and not flat like everywhere else. But the freshness is not to be disputed. Generous portion and strawberries drenched in a light maple syrup. Overall, would love to come back to eat the burgs and the pastas and other stuff. So, giving 1 star under perfection. read more

Had the tuna sandwich with a side salad. My buddy had the panini with chips and a water. $47 later, I'm full as a tick. The food was tasty. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The staff was friendly, although while I was looking at the menu, the gentleman handed it to the lady behind me. He quickly realized what he did and handed me another menu. No problem (though... they received their order before we received ours, and they ordered after us. Our orders didn't appear to be vastly different.) Just the facts... There's free parking in the deck around the corner. We sat on the covered patio and enjoyed a nice afternoon. The food seems to be good quality, but nearly $50 for lunch (before tip) for two sandwiches and a water feels a bit steep. That said, I'd eat here again. read more

First and foremost I am super thankful to the owner Sam for treating me so well. I came here for the first time today and I wasn't sure if I should do a turkey or the chicken sandwich he gave me the run down of each sandwich but suggested that I try the chipotle chicken and holy moly I am so glad because this sucker was freaking delicious and full of flavor. The chiptole chicken sandwich was a very generous portion I ended up getting salad and chips on the side you can choose one I decided since it was my first time I would get both. I love, love, love the sandwich but the chips were the winners too the sauce that comes with the chips was soo yummy it complimented the chips so well. The whole meal was very filling. The chipotle was sandwich was a flavor burst in my mouth I added caramelized onions too and I'm so glad I did because it really elevated the sandwich on another level. They have such a variety on their menu, sandwiches, hamburgers, salads and more. They also have the best drink options I've ever seen at a restaurant, they have a variety of waters and higher end sodas, pops so kudos to them. Lastly, the service, the Owner Sam you can totally tell he gives his love and all and really puts 100 percent in his establishment making sure his customers are happy with everything. I am so happy I finally got to try this place and I cannot wait to come back. 10 stars in my book, highly recommend. Oh they are closed Sundays and Mondays!!! read more

We didn't enjoy our food at all. I had the rib eye and chilaquiles and I don't even think it was a rib eye. No flavor. It was weird actually. His chorizo plate was meh as well. We ordered coffee and they brought us black coffee and when we asked for cream and sugar they said they were out of creamer. They did bring us milk but how do you run out of creamer? The eggs were good, the beans were good too but we won't be back. read more

How have I NOT reviewed this place already?! I've been coming here for YEARS after a friend of mine recommended them to me as a foodie always looking for something new! Delicious, fresh, organic ingredients set the foundation for the miracles coming out of their kitchen. The most divine options I've tried there, and HIGHLY recommend: Patty Melt/Shrimp Melt (tremendous and my go to), Surf n Turf Burger (OOOOF! Love love love), King Pastrami Burger (this one is a BEAST), Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich (Chef's kiss). The salads I've seen other patrons order look so good too but haven't found the restraint to have a light meal there yet, lol! Always a good sign! What sets this restaurant apart from others isn't just the amazing food and upscale decor and ambiance, but moreso their Elite level of customer service. The owner Sam, and his whole staff alike, are some of the genuinely nicest and most attentive people. Sam can always be seen floating around to each table and patron asking them how everything is, how we're doing and if there's anything we need to help enjoy and elevate our experience. His level of attention to detail and genuine passion towards each person that walks thru that door is not only appreciated, but also very admirable. Thank you Sam and your whole Team for always taking care of us when we come to visit, y'all the MVPs! I've eaten at the location once and ordered twice on the Toast app for pickup. My first visit was great. The employees were super nice and helpful. The place is small, causal and chill. We all got different burgers and the homemade chips. Everything was delicious! I'm so glad it's freshly made so I can avoid my allergens. I had ordered the salmon salad with a lemon vinaigrette the second time and I loooved it!! Third time, I got the bacon burger and it was yummy! The bacon is thick and delicious. The food here is fresh and amazing! The gluten free menu is considerable in size and they are careful to not cross contaminate with any gluten, they seem to be very mindful of dietary restrictions and are very helpful in making the right choices based on your needs. My Gluten Free friend had a special Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich with house made fries chips. I had the best patty melt with bacon and cheese that was cooked perfectly medium and served with the most excellent home made fried and salted potato chips. To my shock, I was served wilted and old lettuce in the salad that came with my burger. This would never have happened under prior ownership where the owner ensured quality and freshness in what he served. This is unfortunate because I've been a longtime customer of this restaurant. Real quick...Wild Carvery is a great Idea. My only concern is the prices per portion. I understand that in Burbank, people may be able to afford it. But for those who have to drive its not financially prudent. There are too many sandwiches spots that may charge the same but you get much more food and its quality is as good or better. My friend and I spent $60 bucks for lunch. And the food though good quality but the portions are just too small. They should check their comps and not just in Burbank. Hell I can go get a good sandwich at Jersey Mikes and I can go get decent pasta from Presto Pasta. Those are just th basic spots there are many more. Great Idea and concept. But portions dont match the price. Two stars cause the pasta isnt bad atall. read more

Saw this place on Instagram and gave it a try. We got there on a Saturday at 2:30 pm.ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches and got beef. They cut the beef thin enough to make it look like it pastrami. I told the young woman who maybe was the manager or even owner who was working with kitchen staff that we got beef & not pastrami. She said " I know it is not pastrami. Our supplier didn't bring us pastrami today. So we don't have it. I heard you order it with the cashier but I didn't say we have no pastrami because I didn't want other customers behind you to hear". What!!!!! I couldn't believe my ears. How dishonest. We paid full $60 for food at this place. She didn't even apologize. All tables inside & out were dirty, very loud music, very cold inside, ladies room was dirty & out of paper. ABOVE All, dishonest business. read more

One of the best spots in Burbank the salad is so delicious. A little on the pricier side but for the amount of food you get I think it's 100% worth it. Also all of the sandwiches are delicious. This place is nostalgic for me. Been coming here for years. New spot ..due to covid they had to move. Love the new ambiance. The Cobb salad is one of my favs but substitute for chicken. The place is pretty small, the food is kinda pricey for what it is, we ate French toasts, an iced latte and an orange juice (they charged me for a mimosa). First they forgot to bring the drinks and we had to go ask for them, we asked for an iced latte and they brought it hot. The French toasts were decent, too pricey for what they are. I shared the surf & turf burger with my man and WOW we definitely wished we ordered another. The place has a casual vibe and options for indoor or outdoor seating. Established in 2010.

Wild Carvery was born in 2010 right here in downtown Burbank, started by someone who just wanted to make honest food with real ingredients in a city that deserved better than fast food. What began as a small café built around organic, scratch-made cooking quickly became one of Burbank’s most beloved spots. In 2020 we moved it across the street to our current home at 130 N San Fernando Blvd — carrying forward everything that made Wild Carvery special while adding our own passion for the community and the craft. The recognition followed: Top 30 Sandwich Shop in the U.S. by Yelp, Top 100 Places to Eat in Los Angeles County, and Best Gluten-Free Food and Best Catering at the MyBurbank Awards — all in 2025. While I understand restaurants get busy, being busy shouldn't come at the expense of basic attentiveness. On more than one occasion, she appeared too rushed to fully listen to what we were saying. At one point, my partner was still in the middle of speaking when she simply walked away before he had finished his sentence. That left us feeling dismissed rather than cared for. I've always associated Islands with consistently good food and friendly service, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Sophia, the hostess, delivered excellent hospitality, but the food quality and the service we received after being seated fell well below the standard I expect from this restaurant. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because based on this visit, I would hesitate to return.

The bruschetta chicken was juicy and flavorful. The pasta with it was light and delicious. The chicken parm was quite good, but the bolognese sauce was the star of the meal. This was one of our favorite meat sauces we've had in quite a while. We finished the meal with a complimentary budino that our server brought to us as first time guests. The butterscotch flavor was light and creamy, so good! It was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Service was very good, our primary server was on top of things and the other people helped him out as well. Manager checked on us too. The restaurant is fairly small and was pretty full. From the outside, it's very unassuming but inside was nice and felt cozy.

Wow, what an amazing experience at Wild Calvery! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm welcome. David, who took our order, was honestly one of the best parts of the night. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and really knew what he was talking about when it came to the food. You could tell he cared and wanted us to have a great meal. His recommendations were *spot on*. We ended up getting the pastrami sandwich, Fettuccine Alfredo, and the Mediterranean chicken salad and let me just say, everything tasted SO fresh. Every bite had its own unique flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. The pastrami sandwich was packed with flavor, the fettuccine was creamy and comforting (but not too heavy), and that salad? Light, fresh, and full of bright Mediterranean flavor. I recently ordered a pick-up meal from Wild Carvery while visiting the area. While I found the food to be decent and the staff friendly, I had a concerning experience that I feel compelled to share. After placing my order and paying over the phone, I received a call from my credit card company a few hours later regarding suspected fraud. They flagged a transaction from a restaurant called Yard House, which is also in the same city, as a matter of fact, its walking distance from Wild Carvery. The timing of this alert was alarming, especially since I had just made a payment at Wild Carvery. While I can't say for certain that my payment at Wild Carvery was linked to the fraud alert, the coincidence is troubling. For anyone planning to dine at the restaurant, I strongly advise being cautious when using a credit card. Honest was recommended by TikTok videos, however, it was definitely overrated for the reviews I saw. I was expecting more, my friend ordered an avocado toast and let me tell you it was very much a toasted piece of bread with avocado. Something that a child would make themselves at home. Looking at the photos and reviews it was not what I was expecting! The coffee wasn't terrible but it was not special, I could have gotten better coffee from Starbucks honestly. Lastly the tres leches French toast was the size I would give my two year old. It was very underwhelming, I was shocked and disappointed tbh. Food is food and if it's the place with the lowest wait time in the area I would go just for that but really no reason to be trying it out again! One of my favorite restaurant! The food. Oh, the food, just by looking at it, you can tell it's fresh, and it's going to be tasty, but then you take the first bite, and you know you were right, it's so fresh and yummy. I order online for pick up, and let me tell you, even that was great, they have the food in very sturdy containers (not the cheap flimsy foam thing), and lots of it, I mean they didn't save on food. But again, it was tasty! As I've mentioned before the place looks great, very clean and inviting, so next time I have to go and sit there for lunch or dinner. I originally intended to visit The Cuttery Board at Home, but I accidentally ended up at Wild Cuttery, which has a similar name and a slightly different menu. I was just about to leave when I was greeted by David, whose excellent customer service made me decide to stay. I stopped by for takeout and ordered the wild burger with fries as an ad on which was delicious and hit the spot. Not the best burger I've had but worth the price and yummy. The staff was also friendly and the venue seemed clean, and I didn't need to wait long to get my food for about 15 minutes All I have to say is that parking was tedious due to a lot of the street parking being taken up for outdoor seating. read more

The food here is really good, and you can tell they put effort into the flavors and presentation. WOW ! I was walking around burbank early morning and I found this breakfast Spot, ordered the tres leches french toast and it is one of the Best French toast i've ever tried. Amazing customer service. Evette was so kind and helped me out with the menu. It's super clean and great service. 100% organic! Owner & front staff both extremely nice! Fries cooked in rice bran oil - yay! Lots of gluten free options - tapioca flour for most/no seed oils. They took great pride in their high quality ingredients & weren't afraid to show the full list of ingredients & answered all my questions happily.
