Wild Carvery is great. My wife and I had 2 items, the salmon and pear salad and the surf and turf burger. Both were tasty. You order your meal at the counter and they bring your food to your table. They offer a few beer and wine options which is nice. Inside the restaurant is pleasant and there is also outside open-air seating. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Parking can be a little tough in Burbank lately as they just added metered parking but there is a parking structure that is free about a half block away. I highly recommend Wild Carvery. read more

What a great find. I was looking for lunch in Burbank and this one popped up with some great pictures. The staff is very friendly. The place is really clean. The food is freshly made to order. I went for the steak sandwich with house made fries. If you like In-and-Out Burger's fries, these are made the same but even better. Two small complaints, the music was loud so conversation is difficult, and they dont have a beverage bar, it is just cans and bottles. They do have some beers though. It was not a huge deal. I not only had one of the best pastrami sandwiches in Los Angeles but also had one of the most amazing conversations with one of the owners, Sam. The dishes I tried in this restaurant were the King Pastrami Burger, chips, and french fries. The burger was well seasoned, and each ingredient complimented each other. The chips were also house-made and had a great combination of crispiness and texture. The food was mid. The Eggsadilla itself was actually pretty good can't complain there. The hashbrowns, were hashbrowns so you can't go wrong there. My latte.... Don't even bother it was a vanilla iced latte? Not great. The ribeye was ordered as a medium, it was definitely not medium it was well done. Bread wasn't even toasted, it was chewy with no butter. Medium rare steak was cooked well done. Sandwiches are disappointing and priced about 2x what they should be. Chair broke while sitting in it. Staff were very unhelpful. Went here for lunch on a Friday with my wife. We ordered the filet mignon steak panini. First they didn't have any filet mignon, only ribeye but it was still the same price. They asked how we wanted our steak and we both ordered medium rare but when we got our sandwiches almost 30 minutes later, the steak was in small cubes and over cooked well done. The steak was grey and looked like it had been boiled. I told them the steak was over cooked and all they had were excuses, no apology. They said the panini press cooked the steak more, which is laughable. We decided to get the pastrami instead but we're never refunded any amount. The sandwiches were small and very plain. Then the chair broke. I told the staff and all they said was "that's fine." No apology again. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. read more

Steaks were overcooked (and only came with a butter knife) which for a $30 item shouldn't be the case. Avocado toast was literally just bread with smashed avocado. This is a solid sandwich. The hard part is deviating from the sandwich you like to try something new. My go-to is the turkey club. It's perfect for me. I can only finish half of the sandwich though. I switch between the chips and the side salad depending on how healthy I'm feeling. I've also tried the burger. It's a solid pub style burger, but I wish they had fries as an option because chips with a burger doesn't do it for me, and if you are eating a decadent burger, a salad won't cut it! I've also tried the Greek salad, and it was ok. Maybe it needed a protein added, but it was just a bit boring. Service is good every time I come in and I do like the clean interior. TL:DR - Great burger, no parking, decent prices My fiance was craving a burger so we decided to try Wild Carvery. Located in downtown Burbank along that one strip with all the restaurants and no parking. At the time, I didn't know Wild Carvery was a chain, but it didn't really matter because they served up a top notch burger. I went with the King Pastrami Burger and it just K.O'd me. It is packed to the gills with meat, and eating just half of it, I could feel my arteries closing up. The burger was juicy the pastrami was juicy, and it was just exactly the type of flavor that you want when you bite into a burger. The burger was probably better than most restaurant burgers I have had. Just perfectly cooked with tons of flavor. It also came with a ton of chips and I found myself engorged by the time I finished it all. Here's my boomer take, no burger should cost more than $10. Coming in at $21 for the king pastrami the price is high, but in comparison to other burgers of this quality it's a good deal. Most other burger joints will charge around $18 for a plain burger. If you're looking for a good burger, try them out! read more

Evette was the polite cashier and server as we plunked 2 Jacksons and our asses on the patio chairs, respectfully, waiting for our breakfast burrito (me) and Nutella French toast (she). Burrito size was huge, and as much as I liked the hash browns surrounding inside, it's almost all that and eggs. You have to pay for each item not hash brown or egg, so 2 bucks for bacon which was very good (I mean, name me ONE place that serves nitrite free meats like this place!) but it was borderline comically miniscule amount inside; barely got 4-5 small bits/bites of bacon. Needs a LOT more balance with the meat ratio. But it was very good, the house salsa killer good. The house coffee is a hit, like it too. And 2 oddball cool spoons and Stevia brought without even asking (mind reading, I like that G).very good, Sampling the French Toast: even though I HATE Nutella; I cut-off the edges that didn't have any and liked what I tasted. Real quick...Wild Carvery is a great Idea. My only concern is the prices per portion. I understand that in Burbank, people may be able to afford it. But for those who have to drive its not financially prudent. There are too many sandwiches spots that may charge the same but you get much more food and its quality is as good or better. My friend and I spent $60 bucks for lunch. And the food though good quality but the portions are just too small. They should check their comps and not just in Burbank. Hell I can go get a good sandwich at Jersey Mikes and I can go get decent pasta from Presto Pasta. Those are just th basic spots there are many more. Great Idea and concept. But portions dont match the price. Two stars cause the pasta isnt bad atall. read more
