They have something for everyone on the menu from mild to wild. I had the Mr Potato Head bowl and it might just be the best breakfast bowl I have ever had!! Don't bother coming here if you're in a hurry. In downtown, everyone is in a hurry and if you can't promise to have food ready for take out in a certain time, ya won't make it out here! I never leave bad reviews but because the food took longer than promised, we missed the time we needed to be somewhere that we paid money to be. So for that, I need to leave a bad review. You can't over promise and under deliver, especially for 2 breakfast sandwiches. Just disappointed. I'm afraid to even look at the food and the quality. $2 mimosas!!! How could you go wrong with that?! Walking into this chic, classic little place it was packed! We had to wait a little bit for a table and for our food. Our table ordered and everything came out looking delicious. The order of pancakes are the size of a manhole cover!! Prepare to come hungry if pancakes are what you are after. All of the ingredients were fresh and were prepared as soon as we ordered them. I recommend the cinnamon rolls as they are baked in a cast iron skillet and were ooey gooey. Any omelet comes with potatoes and a muffin. The potatoes can be substituted with something else if asked. The farmers market skillet is another item I recommend. Fresh veggies with eggs on top, looks delicious and will be top on my list of things to get next time. Priced are reasonable for the amount of food and the quality. Visiting from NC and my first time visiting this chain restaurant. Not busy when arrive but we had reservation for 30. Tables ready when we arrived. Little slow getting orders because only one waitress assigned to the three tables. Staff friendly and atmosphere pleasant. I had the mad platter. Wild eggs is pretty darn good! I was surprised by how many things I was interested in on the menu, as I'm not a huge fan of breakfast food. To my surprise, there were lots of savory selections to choose from. The savory chicken crepe was especially yummy. The restuarant itself looked like many other breakfast spots - cozy, but unremarkable. I'd love to see them play with the "eggs" theme more, but I know it's sometimes hard to be super creative with a chain. Our server was friendly and helpful, and our food came out fairly quickly. My phone did NOT eat first this time around because I was so excited to eat. We got sat right away on a Friday morning. The weekends do tend to get a little busy, so I'd be prepared to wait if you come then. The inside is very bright and welcoming. They have a large menu of breakfast foods and drinks. We got the pomegranate mimosas which were a 10/10. My mom got the bacon city omelet which she raved about. I tend to gravitate toward Mexican style breakfasts so I got the breakfast burrito. I have been to wild eggs many many times now. It's a great breakfast brunch place in Indy for traditional dishes but also some unique ones. The staff is always on point, professional and courteous. The food options are good. Would like to see maybe one vegan dish eventually but there are plenty of vegetarian options. They also do have mimosas and yummy Bloody Mary options for your morning buzz. Lol We have always gotten the scrambles and omelettes which are amazing. I prefer the California Omelette myself. The location is great with plenty of street side metered parking but you can always take a scooter or cab/Uber/lift. Overall wild eggs is a great place for a nice brunch. read more

Food is so good! My favorites are the Surfer girl with the skillet mix and blueberry muffin and when I want to indulge I get the Stuffed French toast! We got here at noon on a beautiful Sunday! The wait was 25 minutes. They have online check-in(which I highly recommend checking in on your way here). The place was jammed packed! The wait went by pretty fast and we were seated near the back in front of the small bar area. We were greeted by the nicest waitress ever! Her name was Shannon. She was nice and welcoming as we explained we needed extra time looking over the menu. She went and got Our mimosas as we looked over the menu. We were still undecided so she gave us a few suggestions. We both wasted French toast but something else. Shannon suggested the "Mr. Potato Head Casserole" sub a slice of French toast. While we waited for our food, Shannon made sure to check on us, make sure our water cups were filled and our mimosas tasted great! Once the food came out, there was no more talking! We cleaned our plates!!!! Food was amazing! The amount Of food was so filling. The mimosas were extremely fresh and strong! ;) . We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I think I've been to a Wild Eggs before in Kentucky, but I cannot remember! Either way, this place is amazing! We walked here from City Market where we had planned to have breakfast, but only 2 stalls were open (website said it opened at 8a, but each vendor must have their own hours.) So, we chose Wild Eggs after Yelping best breakfast in our walkable area. This was listed as numero uno and so we jumped on that Yelp waitlist (it estimated 5 minutes wait). When we arrived 5 minutes later, we were 1 of 2 groups at the restaurant plus one dude at the bar! This was so surprising because it was about 830a on a Saturday morning! After talking to the waitresses, they confirmed that the hordes start coming in around 10-11a after sleeping in. Our server was so sweet and gave us recommendations. I took her up on the Border Benedict and dang am I glad I did! The egg was poached soft and the yolk was raised (not flat like how mine usually turn out). The jalapeño cornbread it sat upon was buttery and beautifully fried. The white queso was yummy - I usually wouldn't get that kind of cheese in the morning, but it was 'fun'dido :) I had a choice of sides and I got the everything muffin (yup, just like an everything bagel) and a side of fruit. My husband loved his split sauce biscuits and gravy. He got chorizo gravy on one biscuit and bacon gravy on the other. We were a little hesitant at the lack of diners when we came but were glad to hear that business picks up in the later morning for them! They deserve the crowds! read more

Had brunch here on a Sunday morning with a group of about 10 with a Reservation for 10:30 - it took until about 11:15 for us to get seated - tho there were opportunities for tables to be joined together- they really did not want to accommodate that without a struggle - we did manage to get that done tho and get waited on fairly promptly. My first visit here and the menu has about everything you could want ! I decided on the chicken and waffles- the server warned me about the Spicy sauce for the chicken and brought that on the side - good choice it really has a kick! Recently had a reservation for a party of 16 @ noon on a Sunday at the Delaware street location. We were seated promptly at noon! Great service, no order mixups, clean & friendly. Cinnamon roll was excellent & large enough for everyone one could get a taste. Brunch menu very diverse & tasteful. Good coffee -- even the decaf! While staying downtown for a week, my husband and I decided to try out Wild Eggs for the first time. And then we went back three more times after that. Every single thing we tried was amazing. Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict was my favorite entree that I tried but the chorizo was a too little spicy for me. In the future, I might ask for a different sausage or for the chorizo on the side. The bacon biscuits and gravy were perfect. But the real star was the cinnamon roll. No one told me that the best ever cinnamon roll was just hanging out here in Indianapolis - so I'm telling you. I am late writing this review. I actually came here with two friends a little over a month ago. We came here on a Saturday and which I was told is their busiest day. My friend went in the make a reservation and it was an hour wait so they added us to the waiting list. While we waited we walked around. We got a call back from the restaurant exactly 40 minutes later. When we walked inside the restaurant we were greeted and we let the host know we received a call that our table was ready. The host took us to our table near the windows. I was happy to be near the windows so we could see outside. After a few minutes a waitress came up to us with menu's. She asked if we knew what we wanted to drink. We looked over our menu's and decided to get the tequila sunrise pitcher. I pretty much knew what I wanted to order because I had already looked at the menu online. My friends needed a little more time to decide. When the waitress came back we let her know to give us more time to decide on the food. In the mean time we begin drinking the tequila sunrise and it was so good. It was so good I was nervous. Usually when a drink has so much flavor it tends to sneak up on you lol. When our waitress came back I ordered a waffle and had strawberries added to it. I also ordered the hash brown casserole and turkey patties. I can't remember exactly what my friends got. Honestly none of us thought the food was amazing. It was just okay in my opinion. The best thing to me was the tequila sunrise. I would definitely come back for that. I'm not sure if I would come back to eat. Who knows if I'm back in this area I may give this place another chance. Side note: You have the option to pay for your food through your phone. You scan the bar code on the receipt and it takes you to an app. After that you will put in your card info and pay.
