Covered parking! Woohoo! Well it's hot in Las Vegas, and we were woefully unprepared for only outside seating. Armed with this ice cold cup of naturally sweet cantaloupe juice, we trips around the building through the rocks to the shaded tables. Food arrived in three minutes. Husband ordered a single meat and one side plate with brisket and beans. Brisket has a very peppery dark bark, and is served half and half with the fatty brisket still attached to the lean brisket slices. Beans included shreds of meat and large chunks of sausage and turkey. Small corn muffin is moist and not overly sweet. He finished his pickles and muffin but had leftovers of everything else. I chose the $12 snack plate with turnkey and corn salad. Beautiful white turkey breast, tender and lightly smoke flavored, surprisingly still very moist. This generous serving was also more than I could eat in one sitting. Homemade pickles of various shapes and slices are a refreshing treat. They are very very sour and tangy. Corn salad has black beans and red peppers in it, topped with a little cheese,a cool creamy contrast to the habanero barbecue sauce. The corn salad is a little sweet and orange but not a distinct flavor on its own. Or maybe my taste buds were numbed by our choice of sauce. We both ordered the habanero barbecue sauce and our cashier giggled a little bit. It is hot but not something we can't consume with a little more cantaloupe juice! Ok, nose running but still enjoyed it a lot. Had to eat and run back to the air conditioned car, which was blissfully parked ...in the shade!

I went to wild fig for lunch yesterday. This should be a 4.5 but I don't have that option. The good: reasonable prices, the fries, home made pickles sauces and corn bread were amazing. The bad: I didn't love the St. Louis style ribs. They had pepper crusted on them and were just not my favorite kind of rib though with the Carolina and sweet sauces still quite tasty. They weren't bad per se just not my style. I will definitely go back bc I think some of the other stuff could be more up my alley and all the accoutrements were very very good

We have been here multiple times. Our go-to Asian BBQ and sushi. We love this place . Great food and great staff. Very friendly. Highly recommended! Jin was our host! Kudos!

I visited Dallas-Fort Worth a few months ago and hit up a different BBQ spot pretty much every day I was there, which basically turned me into a full-blown BBQ snob, lol. I've been chasing that Texas BBQ high ever since, so when my parents said they loved this place, I had to check it out on my next visit. The brisket and beef dino rib were absolutely the stars -- cooked and seasoned perfectly, fall-apart tender. I loved it so much I looked up their pitmaster and, sure enough, he's from Texas. Definitely tracks. The brisket musubi was also a total knockout, a great nod to Vegas being the "ninth island." Their habanero BBQ sauce had just the right hint of spice to cut through the fat, and the Brussels sprouts and cornbread sides were great too. Can't wait to come back and do this all over again.

Jalapeño Oklahoma Burger and a side of Brussel Sprouts *Only Available on Thursdays.*

I keep coming back, which says something in itself. Every Thursday they feature burgers, and they always have their signature Dandan: two 100% brisket patties quick-fried in tallow, topped with cheddar cheese and Dandan sauce on a butter-griddled brioche bun. This week they also offered two specials -- the Oklahoma (Dandan with grilled onions) and the Jalapeño Oklahoma (Dandan with grilled onions and jalapeños). The Dandan has been on my list for a while, so I finally pulled the trigger. I called around 11:30 a.m. and was promptly helped by a friendly employee. After a quick chat about which of the three was best, I went with the Jalapeño Oklahoma and a side of Brussels sprouts. I've had the sprouts before and really liked them -- they felt like a slightly healthier alternative to the usual fried sides. (Though when I arrived to pick up my order, it seemed like everyone else was happily devouring onion rings, which made me second-guess that choice.) As expected, there was a line stretching out the door. I quickly realized I was the only one actually waiting outside. Several people walked straight in, bypassed the line, and got helped right away. Turns out a group of 3-4 people had already ordered and were just hanging out inside in the AC while they waited. Lesson learned: if you've already placed your order, just walk in next time. While I waited, the staff brought out an ice-cold cup of their fresh cantaloupe juice. It's very sweet and genuinely delicious -- highly recommend. I took everything to go and ate at home, so I can't speak to temperature. The burger was big and loaded with meat and cheese -- you couldn't really see the jalapeños or onions at first, but they announced themselves with the first bite. The brisket patties cooked in tallow deliver a deep, rich beef flavor. They're a little firmer than a standard burger (as expected with brisket), so if you're someone who likes a lot of vegetables and toppings, this might not be your ideal burger. But if you're after a straight-up, beef-forward, no-frills experience, you won't be disappointed. The Brussels sprouts were excellent as always -- perfectly balanced with a sweet-tangy balsamic glaze. Let's be honest... I'll definitely be back. Next time I'm trying the classic Dandan -- and those onion rings.

It was hard to take phot of the good food because we were on the go but it's important to give this place its flowers. Now I am not from the south but I love the art of BBQ and smelling the smoker and seeing the pit master at work is always a nice touch. The place is teeny so it's ideal to order ahead to speed up the process. They are in the lakes hidden on your right if you're headed towards the 215 on lake mead. The ribs were juicy but Smokey and tender, the cornbread disappeared so fast I barely got a nibble in but man what a nibble I tell ya. The Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts were my favorite side dishes. Vast array of meat selections for your group.

Biscuits and gray. Comes with fried eggs on top but I asked for them on the side.

Stopped in for biscuits and gravy this morning which was great. We sat outside and the smell of the brisket cooking was amazing. We may have to come back to try that! They have a small outside dining area and seem to mostly be a takeout restaurant.

Wild Fig is lowkey one of the best brunch spots I've been to in a minute. They start you off with this free cantaloupe juice and I'm telling you right now... that stuff is basically crack. Cold, fresh, just sweet enough I would pull up just for that alone. I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs on top and it did not miss. Biscuits were soft, gravy was thick and flavorful, eggs cooked right! Whole thing was just solid comfort food. Spot has a chill vibe, service was on point, nothing felt rushed. Definitely coming back. And yeah... I'm getting that juice again

Picnic tables are great for BBQ.

I moved from Chicago to Las Vegas recently. Was wondering if I was going to ever find excellent barbecue here. I'm here to tell you that Wild Fig BBQ is amazing world-class barbecue. The first sign of a good barbecue is that it's just an inconspicuous barbecue place and wild fig is no exception. It's on the side of a reception hall. When I pulled into the parking lot, I knew something special was going to happen. I saw the smoker. A huge 500 gallon beast. Later, I learned that they have 1000 gallon beast in the fenced off area right next to the 500 gallon beast. I could smell barbecue when I walked in the door. And that's a good thing. The people before me ordered their dinner and the owner asked what I wanted to eat and then he said turkey? I said oh no is that all you have left. And he said yes. That's all we have left. So I ordered the one meat combo with turkey and green chili as my side. It came with a piece of homemade cornbread and homemade pickles. I chose the orange chipotle barbecue sauce on the side. Several other people walked in behind me and they all had to order turkey. When they called my name, I took my order outside and sat on the picnic table (another great sign of a great barbecue place). I opened up my dinner and the smell was intoxicating. Let's start with a turkey. Tender and juicy and moist. The hint of barbecue smoke was just amazing. It was probably one of the best smoked turkeys I've ever had in my life. And I've had a lot of smoked turkey. I've even judged smoked turkey in competitions. This was amazing. I dipped the turkey into the orange chipotle, barbecue sauce, and was amazed at the delicious combination of orange and chipotle. Sweet and spicy just hit the spot. It was perfect with the turkey. The homemade pickles and homemade cornbread were delightful. Pickles were crunchy and cornbread was soft and moist and so tasty. I then got to try their house-made pastrami. Along with house-made mustard. So tender and juicy. I was ecstatic to find this type of pastrami available so close to where I'm living. I was also able to test a short rib and a slice of brisket along with their spicy sauce. I will definitely be a regular here and will invite all my friends.

Some of the best barbecue in the city with a catch. This is a review I have struggled with for a little while mainly because I am very conflicted by this spot. I will start with the good, I have been here 3 or 4 times since finding out about it, and I can say when you come on a good day, it's possibly the best barbecued meat you can get in this city. However with that being said, it does seem to be somewhat inconsistent, some visits the meat was perfect, then the next time it was dry and not so impressive. So your experience may vary. We have tried most of the side options between everyone, and I will say they are all pretty decent, and some just okay, none were overly exceptional. The mac n cheese, fries, and potato salad are good, with the corn salad being my least favorite. The real reason to come here is the meat. We all thought the little cornbread/muffins and sauces were pretty damn good though. Where things take a fair turn for the worse, is unfortunately the price and how they structure their combos. The 3 meat combo starts at $36+tax which already stings, but what makes it even worse is that they up-charge for 5 out of the 8 available meat options. I dont like that practice at all, the price should encompass all available options aside from maybe 1 or 2 special offerings. When comparing wild fig to what would be in my opinion their strongest competitor here in vegas we will use the 3 meat combo (Pulled pork, brisket, turkey) which comes to a staggering $45.52 including tax. The competitor comes in at $31.42 for almost the exact same plate which is a roughly 45% increase. Price is subjective and when you're in the ranks of the best in town, I suppose you can charge whatever you like, but it's also fair for consumers to compare you against the other options. The service has always been excellent, the owners have stopped by our table to check in almost every time we have been there, which is something I can appreciate. In summary, this spot is definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of bbq and can swallow the pill of the price. I have been debating 3 or 4 stars, due to the consistency issues and pricing. I settled on 4 because it's local owned, and the owner/s have always went out of their way to check on all the guests. If they could tighten up the consistency, implement a price structure that makes sense, and put a little bit more into the sides, this spot could easily claim the title of best bbq spot in vegas.

I have been hearing about the good food here and I ordered online for pick up on a Sunday . The location might seem strange at first since it seems like you are going into a gated neighborhood but it's a spacious business center. The location is small but if you order ahead and just pick up it's better than waiting in a line . The bbq was amazing and the employees were so friendly . We really enjoyed the food and will be coming back another time.

    Shindig tray
    Rafael Nikolai R.

I had dined here before and really enjoyed the BBQ, which is why I decided to order the Shindig tray for a party. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. The Shindig was advertised as including 1 lb of each meat, but when I opened the tray, it looked much smaller than I expected. It honestly looked very similar in size to the 3-meat platter I had when I dined in, so I thought part of my order might have been left behind. I politely messaged the owner asking if I had forgotten something or if that was the complete order. Instead of reassuring me or explaining the portions, I received a response that came across as rude: "Yes, you got the Shindig... it depends who cut the brisket... what's the problem with the order?" I was simply trying to make sure my order was complete. The tray did include coleslaw, potato salad, Mexican corn, and muffins, and the food itself tasted good. My disappointment was with the portion size compared to my expectations for a $140 party tray and the way my concern was handled. As a returning customer who chose this place to cater a party, I expected a more helpful response.

The ambiance at night is nice and dimly lit. Great menu and nicely priced. There's currently a 3 course special that comes with a salad, salmon, tiramisu, and bottomless wine for $60! It's definitely worth it. The goat cheese spread tasted great with the salad. The salad also comes as a big portion. The salmon was huge and perfectly moist. I got the foie gras on French toast. It had the perfect amount of salty and tart sweet flavor with the blackberry-cherry sauce. It comes as an appetizer, but because it's so good, I don't recommend sharing since the portion is so small. I got the spicy seafood pasta, and it was amazing! It had the perfect amount of spice and it comes with a hefty amount of seafood along with a whole big lobster tail! The shrimps that it came with were also huge and there were plenty of calamari and octopus with the pasta. This dish was such a great deal with the portion and the amount of seafood it came with. My only complaint is that they can lighten the amount of fresh basil they put in. I highly recommend! Last, we got the creme brulee, which comes with orange biscotti. It's a shareable portion, and perfectly sweet. Our server Zoe was also amazing! She was super friendly and answered all the questions we had with the menu. He spent a lot of time explaining the menu and answering questions. He never seemed to be in a rush and was on top of it. We also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were more like a salad, fresh with lemon and pistachio. The creamy garlic mashed potatoes were also fantastic. My wife and I both tried the Spencer cut steak. It was grilled to perfection. Great char and came out the way I ordered it. Juicy and not fatty, an excellent cut. I really enjoyed the sorbet as well. I was so full, but it was a welcomed, refreshing conclusion to our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was classy. The food and service amazing. Can't wait to return here when in town next. My husband had dined at the Henderson location a couple of years ago and had such an amazing…read moreexperience, he wanted to go to the Trivoli location for our anniversary dinner. The first floor of the restaurant was very cool! You could see the cuts of meat in the refrigerators and there is also a bar on the left of the entrance. There was a beautiful chandelier by the staircase as well. The upstairs dining area was very plain however. Bare walls, industrial type of standard light fixtures. The server recommended the skirt steak which we ordered MR. Also ordered the ribeye, portobello mushrooms fries and the steak tartare to start. I've never seen a steak tartare come out brown as it shows in the photo. I was so hungry, so I tried some, assuming the kitchen wouldn't send out bad raw meat. It tasted ok but the more I kept eating the weirder I felt about the color. We asked the manager if this was a common occurrence as my experience with steak tartare had never been this way. She said that it shouldn't come out brown and said she'd take it off the menu. She then later came back to explain that the lime juice that's in the marinade oxidizes the raw beef so that's why it's brown... which is an acceptable answer I suppose? It just felt weird bc I couldn't find any photos of browned steak tartare on google when looking up the restaurant menu. The steaks we ordered MR came out. The ribeye was cooked decently but the skirt steak was more on the rare side so we had to send it back for an oven heat up for 1 more minute. I enjoyed the skirt steak but it was too sweet to enjoy the whole thing. Cooking it in the oven for another minute made it even sweeter. It tasted like over sweetened Korean galbi in steak form. I'd say the portobello fries was my favorite dish and decided to take the rest to go to pick at in the hotel. After dinner we were given the dessert menu which didn't really call out to me, but since we told the server it was our anniversary, they gave us complimentary sorbet which was very nice. I liked the sorbet quite a lot but I was pretty full so didn't get to enjoy much of it. The gesture was kind though. At the end, the steak tartare was not taken off our receipt so we had to ask for that to be taken off since the manager told us she'd do that. The server gladly obliged. I want to say, that there was a female employee - maybe a busser, who worked really hard to be attentive with our waters and clearing our plates. I wish I got her name! I believe she was Latina with a ponytail if that helps at all working Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend at 6PM. All in all, the experience was not as great as my husband's first time at the Henderson location - he said the cuts were so much bigger before and the ambience of the Henderson location was more fine dining-esque. But the economy is tough lately so I figured the quality could've easily gone down. Because the price points were very reasonable, I thought it was up to par with what we paid. Probably won't go back unfortunately but it was great to try it out. The plaza it is in is called Trivoli(?) and I thought it was a cute spot with a lot of shops. Although everything was closed by 8, we walked around to digest a little and enjoyed the evening.

It's a rustic, barbecue joint, with family style sitting on picnic tables, but there is also big booths, and smaller tables if you are not into group dining. It took me back to roadside BBQ stands back in Texas, so I kinda liked it, right down to the Shiner Bock signs and boot scootin music in the background! Regrettably they don't actually offer that beer, but my Modelo was nice and cold, and my wife's wine was a great accompaniment. Did I mention the ribs?!? Oh my, they are epic! This isn't a huge chain restaurant just churning them out, these are prepared with a dedication to taking the time to do it right. This will be our go-to Barbecue joint in Vegas!!!

The only good thing I ate was the pulled pork, but even then, it wasn't that great. I will not order here again, unfortunately. Seriously disappointed for the price vs. quality of food.

We've been here 3-4 times and can't believe I've never left a review!!…read more So for starters, they have a great happy hour, trick is it's in the bar seating area only, they do have a couple high tops set in the back should you choose to imbibe. The dining area and outdoor patio give a rustic country kitchen feel which suits their fresh seasonal ingredient filled menu. We have honestly never had a bad meal here. The food tends to disappear before we get to take pictures, sorry that's lacking. I've read the service here isn't good, but we've either been lucky or just have come on good days because we haven't had any issues. The only issue that is kind of a nonissue is that it gets busy fast, of the 3-4 times we've eaten here we've probably come 10 times and there was a loooong wait so we decided to go elsewhere. If you're in the area and want something delectable for lunch or dinner, I'd say yes stop in and enjoy yourself !

They were seating guests on the 2nd room. We were greeted and walked to our table in front of the open kitchen. We had a very fast speaking staff member who went thru the menu. It's not a big menu so although we were not able to follow along, we looked at the menu and finally understood what he was recommending. Luckily he was not our waiter. Edith was our waitress and she was amazing. Our food was brought out at a timely manner. We changed out our plates at least 2x so we can enjoy the next dish on a clean plate. Our water glass was always full. We had a small table for 2 but always made sure we had enough room for the dishes we ordered so we can enjoy. Mind you, we did a wine flight for each of us so there was always 6 glasses of wine on the table. The food was phenomenal. Portion, flavor, each dish was just perfection. Whipped Brie. Omfg, I could eaten just this all night with my wine. Garlic shrimp on toast. Why did I only order one plate. It was so gorgeous. I had to take small bite so that the dish would last longer. Gouda fries with a dip on the side. Heaven sent. Wagyu, medium rare. Cannot be cooked more perfectly. Went amazing with the cab wine. Kat was nice and went around making sure everyone had a nice dinner. I had to share how perfect our dinner was at Ada's. Will be back.

Frankie's Uptown is known as a Steelers gathering spot, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for: energetic, welcoming, and a great place to catch a game. I ordered the stromboli, and I'm convinced it turned my entire day around. I walked in hungry and left wondering if I should cancel my dinner plans for the rest of the week because nothing was going to top it. Our server was the perfect combination of sweet and sassy--quick with a smile, quick with a comeback, and she made our table of six feel like regulars. Great service can make a meal memorable, and she absolutely did. Speaking of our group... all six of us left happy, which may be the restaurant equivalent of witnessing a solar eclipse. Getting six people to agree on anything is a miracle, but Frankie's pulled it off. Whether you're there to cheer on the Steelers, enjoy a great meal, or just spend time with friends, Frankie's Uptown delivers on all three. Great food, great atmosphere, and a staff that makes you want to come back. Here we go... back to Frankie's!
