As someone who's been gluten free for many years, I've just learned to live without some of my old favorites. Finding Wild in Park Slope was the perfect end to a day spent exploring Brooklyn! I truly couldn't decide what to have - because I could have anything off the menu!! I settled on the Tuna Tartare appetizer and the Butternut Squash Ravioli and they were both delicious! Will definitely make a return trip the next time I'm in town. Thank you for making this GF girl so happy - and stuffed! Great outside dining area - and lovely open, airy space inside, as well!

Rounded up to 4 stars The room is comfortable and clean. The cocktails are adequate - not outstanding. The plates are inconsistent. The Pasta Carbonara was tasty. The Spaghetti with the Chicken Parmigiana was gummy. The service was attentive.

I was excited to try Wild, especially because it's a Gluten free restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is very small and cramp. The night i went there, there was live music and all though it was a great vibe, it was really loud and they were tucked so far in the corner that you couldn't enjoy the view. I loved the music they sang but because the restaurant is so tiny I felt like it was literally the only thing you could hear. I had the calamari as an app and the mushroom pasta for the main. The calamari was okay; I would get the meatballs the next time if I ever go there again because I heard great things about them. The mushroom pasta was very bland. It just tasted like cream and nothing else. I added salt/pepper and parm to make it taste better. The service was okay but my waiter did forget my order and had to come back to confirm it. Not sure if I would go back.

As a celiac I've never felt so safe, absolutely delicious, my friend whose not gluten free said it was the best pasta she ever had, wish I could give 10 stars

Worst food I ever had. Let's start with the mozzarella sticks.... NO BUENO PIZZA wasn't good at all. We spent $162.00 for the bottomless brunch for 2 which we thought would be great...... Epic fail! Don't let this place fool you. On to the next Service great, food not so much...

***2 1/2 stars*** There's always some risk involved when you do absolutely no research beforehand and just pick a place instinctively based on vibes. The vibes WERE good, but...not much else was, unfortunately. I came here last night with my top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality to grab some drinks and bites before the Nets game (which was a special level of atrocious though it did coincidentally feature the NBA debut of Gonzaga's own Drew Timme - congrats!). I always forget how many bar/restaurants are in Park Slope so it took us about 15 minutes to stumble across this one. I liked that it seemed quieter and the lighter colors inside were instinctively appealing. All of that WAS good, for the record. Our primary purpose was to get drinks, and they were very hit or miss. My first drink was the Trusty Sidekick, featuring bourbon, elderflower liquor and prosecco. Not good. It wasn't mixed at all (we speculated that that might actually have been intentional for optics purposes, but that's ridiculous - no drink should have to be stirred together by the drinker) and I don't think there was any bourbon in it. We side-eyed each other the minute we saw how clear the beverage is, which bourbon certainly isn't. It also had way too much simple syrup and I'm not a 21-year-old sorority initiate. So I'm not sure if this drink just flat out wasn't made properly or if it's badly designed but either way I'd steer clear. My second drink was way better - it was a Spicy Old Fashioned, which tasted like it might have had a bit of Fireball in it or something to that effect. That could have gone sideways easily but thankfully the bartender was pretty judicious with the pour in that regard at least. Good presentation as well. My chum wasn't crazy about her jalapeno margarita, and it's wild to me how often bars make this mistake of doubling down on the jalapeno - if you are already using jalapeno-infused tequila, there's no need to then also mull actual jalapenos in it. She's usually pretty good with her spice, but even this was over the line and she switched drinks. When both people have to pivot to something else? Not a great sign. The food was pretty rough as well. It's interesting to me now with the benefit of hindsight to see that this place is much more about the gluten-free cuisine than anything else. I don't know if that specifically ended up being an issue here or not, but what I did have just wasn't good. We ordered a margarita pie, which you can see from the attached looks (and tastes) a lot like an overly cheesed-up Celeste freezer pizza. I had one slice just to get some necessary carbs in but I would never get it again. Aside from the lackluster items provided, the service was decent. The bartender was attentive and available throughout our experience, and when my chum ordered some drinks off menu, he readily obliged. Very pleasant little bar area there, and comfortable. This area is positively teeming with high quality shizzle. It's unlikely we're making a repeat visit.

Ugh unfortunately not a huge fan. I really wanted to LOVE this place as I live in the neighborhood and pass it frequently. The decor & ambiance are very inviting, but truthfully it missed on a few parts. When we walked in, the host did not greet us. She was busy speaking with a bar tender and while she looked directly at us, she continued with her conversation. We had to walk to the back of the bar just to be seated. The restaurant was empty except for a few seats at the bar and we asked if we could sit outdoors for happy hour. She looked at us and said, "bar only for happy hour" in a really condescending tone. We sit down and the happy hour was not a happy hour in my opinion. The prices were high for the area as we frequent quite a few spots in park slope for happy hour. The wine was not great, the beer was fine but for $8, we could go somewhere else that charges less for the same beer not during happy hour. Would not recommend for happy hour specifically. Cannot speak to other hours.

Really terrific for gluten free! You could barely even tell the gluten was missing and that's saying a lot for fried chicken and pasta! The chicken parm was great, as was the calamari. And it seemed like my friends really liked the shrimp scampi too. My only critique of the food was that the chicken was a little rubbery. Staff was friendly and attentive. Drinks were pretty good. Ambiance solid. Overall, would definitely recommend if someone in your party is gluten free/celiac.

My friend who is gluten intolerant cried tears of joy when she realized she could have everything on the menu. The salads and pastas are great. I love coming for oyster and clam happy hour and grabbing a glass of wine at the bar.

Have you ever been to a place where you feel like you're exactly where you need to be and your soul feels at home there? Well this spot was it for my brother and I. I'm visiting my brother from Australia and he lived in park slope for 15 years and never discovered it until I came. First of all, the highlights: they offer a 5 hour happy hour from 2-7pm EVERY DAY!! Yes you read right- 7 days a week! Catch is it's only at the bar but that's where all the best moments happen. But where else in New York can you find a happy hour for 5 hours 7 days a week?! I dare you to!!! My brother and I have been here 3 times now in a span of a week so that's an indication that we love love this place. Ambiance is great, we have sat at the bar with Al making our drinks twice now and he always makes us feel at home. The conversation is always interesting and he's also recommended some other spots for us at other locations. Our other server is Monica, she's also great too. Drinks: we have fallen in love with the cilantro martini. It is downright spectacular. We are now addicted thanks Wild Food: THE BEST OYSTERS I HAVE EVER HAD and that says a lot because I eat a lot of oysters at a lot of places. I am Polynesian, I'm a seafoodie haha just made that up! But I promise you'll not be disappointed by trying this place out, you'll become a regular just like we have read more

Please please PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't come here expecting an exceptional or pleasant experience. I hate to give bad reviews because I know small businesses are struggling but this place will leave you disappointed and wishing you had spent $50 on a meal somewhere else. The "Fresh Mozz" Pizza, which I spent $20 on, was made with shredded cheese. It was greasy and reminiscent of dominos. It was edible but the mozz wasn't fresh, which is what I paid for. You can get much better personal pizzas with fresh ingredients in 100s of restaurants across the city. My friend got the Wild Mushroom Truffle Penne. Also $20. She barely touched the plate. The penne was boxed and not easy to chew, the cream sauce was not flavorful, and the mushrooms appeared to be canned / old. I didn't believe her until I tasted it myself - you can make this dish better at home and it will take less time. To top it all off, the service ignored us. We asked to move seats from next to the window to a little further into the restaurant because it was a bitter, cold night, and they said "yes" and then PROCEEDED to make us move our own dishes, drinks, napkins, and water ourselves. When it was clear we were unsatisfied, neither staff members looked our way, asked us how things were, or even came to refill our drinks. We had to flag them down for the check, and they were incredibly cold since it was clear that both of us were unsatisfied. If I had paid $25 for the meal, I would feel a lot better. This is a really low quality spot. Again - HATE to do this to a small business but I wish I had seen a review like this before eating here. I am making a relatively low wage for NYC so when I go out and spend money, I expect quality. read more

The crust for the pizza like a cracker and unevenly formed. It is not a dough like consistency if that's what you're expecting. The burrata was blah and the prosciutto was tasteless. Calamari was decent but the marinara sauce was cold. If you're looking for gf pizza, your better for buying store bought and adding your own toppings. read more

Dropped by here when walkIng by on a Sunday for bottomless brunch. The place wasn't packed. We sat at the counter and got bottomless mimosa (other choices were: Prosecco or...something else.) They also have a bar only HH menu on the weekends too! I got the tofu scramble. It was good. Nothing out off this world but still good. The positive thing is that our mimosas were never empty yay! And also, she wasn't skimpy on the bubbly. Which is always a plus. I want to say we got through a bottle and a half during the 2 hours. Overall, it's a cute place. Came in as a walk in. Was drawn to the 1$ oysters (6 oyster minimum at bar only). The oysters were tasty. Drinks were delish. Tried the red sangria, white sangria, pineapple infused Tito's, and lychee martini. All were good drinks. Very impressed with the collection of infused drinks. The restaurant smelled of truffle. I got delivery from Wild on a Saturday night. I ordered the Parmesan Fries, Green Pesto Pizza, and the Wild Mushroom Truffle Penne. I got the Vegan cheese on the pizza. It was delicious. Not eating gluten but getting to eat fries and pizza is a luxury. The only thing is the food was a little too greasy for my taste. I would have liked it a little lighter. But it still was delicious. This place has some great tasting food. I enjoyed my experience here. I ordered the pasta pescatore with Alfredo sauce and I was surprised at how much seafood was in it. The dish was filled with clams and mussels and shrimp. Also, i was really happy that I chose the Alfredo sauce as opposed to the marinara. My girlfriend got the marinara in her chicken Parm and the Alfredo was so cheesy and creamy and definitely one of my favorite Alfredo's. I was also impressed with the flourless cheesecake. Great music, fresh food, friendly people, professional service, and accessible location! What more can you ask for? OK...maybe more comfortable chairs...and a lounge area...but the bar is fun! The fresh salads and pizzas here feel healthier than vitamins and spin class. The prices are typical for this time and place. Just as good as the food is the staff. Everyone seems happy to be working here. Not sure if they are happy, but the staff makes you feel like you are invited to a party. Very welcoming. read more

I frequent Wild's west village location and was pleased to run across a BK restaurant. The atmosphere here is much brighter and light hearted. I enjoyed the white, plant filled interior. Food is delicious as always! The gluten free pizza crust is thin, tasty and a nice mix of chewy and crunchy. I noticed the bar here had a few different infused tequilas. I didn't get to try any but I've never noticed this at the WV location. Very fun! The only thing about this restaurant is food is usually slow to arrive. Not always the best spot for kids or if you're in a rush. I definitely recommend ordering apps and drinks to fill up some of the waiting time. Well worth the wait though read more

So... the reason for 3 stars was mainly because of the service. At the outset and approaching the establishment and trying to get some Information, the waitress there was totally oblivious to myself and even two others standing out front. I walked inside and the another male worker there was a bit more helpful. )The only reason I stayed) Service is extremely slow. I mean, there was one female waitress as mentioned and she was not up to task. No question, no words of reassurance until my spouse spoke up. The food was good tasting and of good quality. read more

I came here for the first time out of curiosity a few years ago when it first opened. It's easily now my favorite. Wild is my go-to spot, it's different from everything else in Park Slope. The ingredients are fresh and good quality, you really get a good bang for your buck here. I always come for the salads but I end up spending like four hours here and order the pizza as well. The happy hour is every day and pretty affordable!! Big Al is super friendly; the whole staff makes sure you're set. I never wait long for my food/drinks. read more

My girlfriend and I spent a good 45 minutes walking around Park Slope for a brunch spot that didn't have a crazy long wait for a table without a reservation, when we stumbled across Wild. Cute little restaurant with a bright, sunny, café atmosphere! Their brunch menu has all the traditional American choices - which was perfect because she was craving french toast & bacon, while I was hankering for some lox on eggs benedict. Nothing spectacular, we were just hungry lol. They play some really great background music, though, and you get a free bellini with your order! ;) read more

The gluten free pizzas here are disgusting. These other reviews are....questionable. The pizzas are absolutely atrocious. For no reason at all, the crust is as hard as brick. If you can imagine a wafer thin piece of stone rubbed on someone's butt, that's what the crust tastes like. It is literally an EXERCISE to chew them. The toppings are fine, I guess, but the entire thing was bland. I was starving, and therefore ate two entire pizzas myself but they're gross and I wouldn't do so again. They are also VERY small. In Italy, you get an individual sized pizza that's actually filling - these are like baby sized pizzas (or like two of those ghetto lunchables pizzas we all used to pine for as children before we had any sense lol) for a high price. I would pay the high price if the pizzas weren't gross. Pro-Tip: Use chickpea flour to make relatively fluffy dough. This is what is often used in southern Italy and Naples, where pizza comes from. It's easily available in the states and idk why no one does it. But yeah. These GF pizzas are disgusting. read more

I ordered the zucchini noodles with a side of broccoli and drank the glutenberg blonde. Very delicious noodles. Not too soggy or over cooked. Flavorful not just the sauce doing all the work. The broccoli was nicely sauteed or gently seasoned not steamed. It was healthy Tasted very fresh for ny dining. Perfect serving size. I was very hungry but left stuffed. That glutenberg blonde was delicious. I am so happy I stopped in for dinner. Only downside was the only water available was tap or sparkling Pellegrino. The food is served remarkably fast--almost as quick as fast food, but with none of the impersonal attitude. Instead, this place radiates warmth and sophistication. I had the pleasure of indulging in Wild Park Slope's entirely gluten-free menu, featuring fried calamari, bruschetta, and white pizza. The fried calamari stood out with its buttery and flaky breading that provided the perfect crunch. The tanginess from the marinara sauce and a squeeze of fresh lemon sealed the deal, setting the tone for the rest of my meal. The bruschetta gave me reassurance that gluten-free bread can be just as good--if not better! The art and designs on the walls are stimulating to the eyes and senses and it gives you that old town Brooklyn feeling with a twist elegant dining. The food is exceptional and of course the Tito's Pineapples are too die. The service is just as amazing. Visiting from out of town, it's always a challenge to find gluten free food. Luckily we found Wild! They pair delicious Italian cuisine with a laid back vibe and it's all gluten free! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather, good music, and great food. We tried the calamari, pizza, and eggs Benedict. All were excellent and hard to tell it was gluten free. Izzy, our server, was very attentive and even recommended us some good cocktails to go with our brunch. Overall it was a fantastic experience and if we are ever in the area again we will be sure to visit again. read more

I don't usually review places but I figured I should give a shout out to a couple places that deserve it. I have lived in Brooklyn my whole life and Wild Park Slope is just one of those places that you have to visit for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner. They are just the best. The staff is kind and they know their stuff- they go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. And the food- I truly have not had a better, more satisfying meal. I just love their menu. I really can't say enough good things. They have whatever you are in the mood for and they do it well. read more

Awesome with the GF food for my GF. She can't stop raving about this place for genuinely delicious pizza. We will most definitely be coming back if not for the spectacular food, for the tremendous service we received. We were waited on almost immediately upon walking in and treated with complimentary menus and ice cold refreshing drinks on this hot summer day. The place has a very lively atmosphere, with classic rock playing in the background, at the perfect volume to allow casual conversation. The West Village location of WILD has been a favourite, so I was thrilled when this restaurant came to Park Slope! I'm happy to report its just as good as its Manhattan counterpart. Everything I've had from their entirely gluten free menu is delicious. I just picked up the Chicken Parmigiana, which was cooked perfectly and as I asked, as was the pasta. Sometimes it's difficult to keep gluten free Italian food from getting mushy, but I've never had that problem at WILD. The 5th Ave WILD is going to quickly become my "go-to" place in the neighbourhood. read more

This is my Go To gluten free restaurant!! As we all know, gluten free options are hard to come by; especially pizza. The crust is crispy and so tasty, it would be hard to know it is gluten free if I didn't specifically seek it. Many gluten free places do not have a full bar either. It is especially nice in the warm weather when I can sit at an outside table to enjoy pasta, pizza, or an entree without the fear of gluten making its way into my food. This is my go-to, favorite place to eat in the city (BK & Manhattan). The food is guaranteed to be gluten free which is a dream and no one would even know that it is!!! I recommend the BBQ chicken delight pizza, ravioli, coming for brunch!! The truffle white poached egg pizza is BOMB, especially if you come with a friend and share the french toast or pancakes. As a student film set, we wanted to ensure that we had catering during our shoot that was inclusive to all dietary restrictions, especially for our gluten-free cast and crew members. I love Wild. I just moved around the corner and eat here all the time. I have a gluten allergy and a dairy allergy so this restaurant has been a saving grace!! Yarik is the most adorable, attentive server. My friend and I ate here recently and we both have the most obnoxious allergies and he was so sweet and accommodating. The atmosphere is so good! Started with oysters and an aperol spritz and it was the perfect way to cool down during a hot day! Then split some mussels that were very rich with the broth they came in along with a gluten free pasta that I could barely tell was gluten free. Jamie was our server and she made the experience even better with her bubbly personality, and was always there making sure we were having a good time! Still, they were working on it, so we decided to go to their sister, more casual spot instead, with me, in hindsight, being happy because I liked this more than Miriam (at least the UWS location.) The place is casual, with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and I can see it being very popular for lunch or brunch. The service was friendly as well. We both decided to get the Israeli Experience for $32 each, though they warned us it was a lot of food and we could split it. We did indeed take home some leftovers, and it was a terrific deal. Said experience is a comprehensive sampling of their menu, featuring two skewers, five salads, hummus, tahini, and two pitas, served with a choice of yellow rice or French fries, with the salads and skewers being our choice from the menu. Since we were going to share a few cold mezzes/salads, we decided to get fries and rice. The fries were well portioned, with a light crisp, while some were a bit soft. I found the rice, as expected, to be a better accompaniment, as it's lighter and goes well with the sauces. The pita bread was warm but standard and presumably store-bought. For the salads, our favorite of the bunch was probably the Spanish Eggplant, listed as fried eggplant tossed in tomato & pepper sauce. This was very similar (if not the same) as Turkish Soslu patlıcan, so I'm not sure why it's listed as Spanish unless they're Spanish eggplants or something. All naming aside, this was very tasty, with the eggplant both very garlicky and soft, but not too much that it lacked texture. I also liked the Moroccan Carrot, listed as thinly sliced carrots cooked & marinated in Moroccan spices. I have seen this in a few Moroccan places, such as in Astoria, and this was good. The carrots were soft, and the spice blend had a slight tang among other flavors. I would also recommend this. I am not usually the biggest fan of Israeli Salad, which is made here with chopped cucumber, tomatoes, scallions, parsley, and za'atar lemon vinaigrette, but this was good. I believe there was a bit of tahini or something similar in the dressing, which made it a bit more flavorful than the usual version, and all the vegetables are very fresh. This was better than expected and good. The Hummus was pretty good. I like some other spots with thicker hummus or a bit more kick, but it was still tasty. The same can be applied to the Tahini, which was standard but good. More standard and tasty was the Purple Cabbage. Nothing particularly special, but it was good, and they appear to have updated since I had it last, adding beets and roasted sesame seeds, which sounds like a pleasant addition. The Kale and Dried Apricot Salad with winter kale, dried apricots, and roasted almonds dressed with house vinaigrette was fine. I'm a bit biased here as I don't like kale, but there were plenty of crunchy almonds. However, I wish there were more apricots, and the dressing didn't mask the kale as much as I'd like. I wasn't a fan of the Corn Salad with grilled corn, red pepper, and jalapenos. The dish should probably be served warm, since the cold grilled corn had an unappetizing texture and flavor when mixed with the pepper. It reminded me a bit of a dip gone wrong. This was easily my least favorite, and neither of us finished it. The skewers were pretty good but more standard. In terms of options, each of us got a Harissa Salmon, he chose a Chicken Thigh, and I got a Ground Beef & Lamb Kofta. The fish was surprisingly tender, but I found the harissa to be only very mild, which was a bit surprising given how red the dish looked. He seemed to enjoy his chicken skewer, while the kofta was alright. I have had much more flavorful kofta before, but at least it wasn't dry, with the meat being pretty juicy. The "experience" reminded me of a much better version of Kashkaval Garden in Hell's Kitchen, minus the fondue, of course. It's essentially the same price point as getting the salmon from there, but it has many pluses. The side dishes are much better and more varied, the skewers are smaller but much more tender and less overcooked, and the portion size is much larger. This doesn't even include the large portion of rice or salad, which isn't included there. I didn't love everything here, but it's hard to deny this deal, especially in this fancy neighborhood.
