Our favorite Thai in the valley! So sad we aren't close :( But the fried dragon eggs are a must have - it's why we come!!

Good place but not the best I've had. I'm going to list what we ate in the order of our favorites, Lahb, freshie rolls, papaya salad and dragon eggz. The lahb was really good and I never had it with mint leaves (i'm stealing that btw). I wish they served it with lettuce instead of cabbage, should have asked. The freshie rolls and papaya salad were what I expected and tasted good. We were actually disappointed with the dragon eggz. If there was shrimp and crab in there I would have never known. Just tasted like a pork meatball in a wrapper. It was really dense too like they mixed it and shaped it too much. Service was excellent and the place was clean and looked nice. If I were in the area and wanted Thai food I would go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way, and I wouldn't go just for the dragon eggz. read more

Most delicious Thai I've ever had. Be prepared to wait but it's well worth the wait. Just like everybody else, I discovered this restaurant after watching diners drive-ins and dives on the food network so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. Contrary to other reviews the waitstaff was quite friendly and had no problems taking our order quickly. We ordered a bunch of different things to try it all out. I LOOOOVED the Tom Ka (best I've ever had and I am/was loyal to Thai Rama)!!! For appetizer we had the Dragon Eggs- we preferred them steamed but tried both. We also enjoyed the yellow curry, spicy and delicious, as well as the Pad Thai with shrimp. All were amazing. I had the Milk Boba to drink and that was coconutty, sweet, and yummy! A little more pricy than we usually pay for Thai but the flavor profiles were bomb. We will be back. Soon we hope. read more

I went because it was on DDD and it was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Fresh rolls were very good but the signature Dragon eggs were nothing more than standard Shu Mai. Everything else was good but not very inspired. read more

Super good Thai food !! Once you come here you'll never go to Pei Wei again ! Smells DELISH upon walking in , friendly service , clean modern atmosphere .. Decent prices , food is fresh and Taste amazing ! We had the Chicken pad Tai , Mu Yang (the guy Fieri item ) and a couple drinks , highly recommend the leeche martini. This place is awesome. We went here to try something different and I'm glad we did. It is kinda far for us but it was well worth it. Cute place, has a nice outdoor patio, small inside but that doesn't bother us. I'm just glad it wasn't super busy. We went on a Saturday night and we were sat right away. Ordered a few drinks and it did take some time to get them but that's ok. The employees were all busy and doing their job. We ordered the Dragon Eggs for an app and did half steamed/half fried and they were AWESOME. I would definitely recommend them. For dinner I had Mu Yang, which was INCREDIBLE. The sticky rice, OH MY, I wish I could have some with every dinner. My boyfriend ordered the ribs and he loved them. I tried them myself and I thought they were super tasty. Everything we ordered had so much flavor, which is huge in our book. We will definitely be back. read more

The food came out fast but COLD. From the appetizer to main courses. We ordered the half steam& half fried crab wontons, papaya salad and skewed chicken but grilled sliced chicken was served w salad, baby back ribs, and yellow curry chicken. We saw a chef in the kitchen but no sound of real cooking. It appears that our orders were all precooked. Very disappointed w the food! We saw this restaurant featured on Guy last night and thought we have found a new Thai spot. We will never go back here to eat reheated food. read more

Was there a couple of years ago. The service was great! And so also the decor with the aquarium with colorful fish! The food was good, nothing to complain about. But did not WOW me, so I am only giving 4 stars. There are a lot of parking lots to the rear, but that entrance is a bit difficult to find especially in traffic. Amazing food! The dragon eggs appetizer was great. We got the mix of steamed and crispy, but my buddy and I both agreed we preferred the crispy texture to the steamed. The sauce was tangy with some sweetness that was offset perfectly with the jalapeño slices. As I do with a new Thai spot, I opted for the Pad Thai with chicken, my friend got the panang curry with a mix of beef and chicken. The Pad Thai was honestly one of the best I've ever had, and hands down the best in Phoenix. It was spicy, the noodles were sticky and delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The presentation was impeccable, The panang curry was not what either of us are used to as it was red opposed to the normal green, but it was super smooth, almost smoky and crazy flavorful. It wasn't clumpy and very creamy. The only downside was the $2 charge to sub brown rice for the traditional jasmine rice. I would highly recommend Wild Thaiger to anyone town. read more

Started off with chicken spring rolls which were presently very well. They were light and crispy and came with a sweet sauce that paired excellently. I ordered the Gia Katchu. It was a very tasty dish. The sweet sauce with onions and peppers made a good combo. However, the chicken had to be frozen and breaded somewhere else based on the look of them. I was disappointed about that. My girlfriend ordered the Holy Basil Chicken. It was a bit spicy for my taste, but she enjoyed it. The chicken was seasoned nicely and was topped with some items I did not recognize. Overall, great presentation and pricing with this restaurant. We will visit again. I drove quite a distance to visit this highly rated Thai restaurant. The chicken with ginger dish was a disappointment. Dry tough chicken and watery sauce. I asked the waitress if I could exchange it for another dish. She was rude. She argued with me and challenged me. We found this place through watching triple Ds. Since we were on a road trip and driving through Phoenix on 10/16/2017, we thought we would stop and try it. This was the best Thai food I've eaten so far. We brought some family with us and they loved the food also and said they would be back. The service was very good and very friendly and helpful. Waited and waited for the server from beginning to end even having to go up to the cash register to request and pay my bill. I think she may have spoken 20 words to me total. A popular Thai restaurant conveniently located in downtown Phoenix. Crowded at lunch, but the service was still quite good. The food is okay, nothing spectacular but nothing to send back either. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the misters. Inside it was too crowded and noisy for us. The message states only to call back. On a particularly stressful day, my best friend decided while We both tunes out the chaos of our job and recovered, that she was going to order incredible amounts of Thai food to cheer us both up. This place did not disappoint. This is as close as we both got to being in Thailand and were transported to creature comforts through flavor vehicles of spices and curries and shrimp and noodles galore. Food looks delicious as it tastes delicious too. I got The Fat One which I don't particularly recommend as it's not too special. My mom got the pad Thai and we agree that it's not as great as the pad Thai we get back home in Papillion, Nebraska at Thai Orchid, however, the dragon eggs tasted great with the sauce (soy sauce and maybe something else) they had a nice kick as well. The first day of fall and dinner outside on the patio in downtown Phoenix sounds perfect for Friday evening. I saw this place on Diner, Drive-in, and Dive show on the food network, and could not wait to try it. I knew I had to get the Dragon Eggs, which did not disappoint at all! Great Satay and pretty good Pad Thai! What really got me though was how much Guy Fieri I saw.... as if he didn't already haunt all of our dreams already! I love Thai food and was pretty disappointed with the food. We went here because it was convenient but I wish we went to more places. We got the Chicken Curry and Pad Thai. The curry was good but it was for the price, it wasn't worth it; I've had better. The Pad Thai was pretty bland. I am sure that there are other and better Thai places in Phoenix. I was really disappointed in this place. Heard it has great food but was not able to try it. Their answering machine just kept saying they were on the line with another customer and to call back... I have never had a food place with that useless of a phone system. I called every minute for 25 minutes. Really frustrating and an easy fix. Busy lunch spot. The place had a heavy bar scent. Green papaya salad did not have the refreshing sour crispness that I love and crave. It was over the top in spiciness though. It had small chunks of pickled chili peppers through out. Heavy handed with dressing that was missing peanuts and not enough lime.
