Wildflower just opened a couple of days ago. I didn't get to fully enjoy the restaurant and bar yet but the cocktails are delicious, creative and refreshing. This restaurant is right under the high line on West 23rd St. 4 stars for the cocktail and the staff. They were all wonderful and very catering. Even the bus boy came up to us and said to let him know if we need anything. That's rare to see. I love the interior decor - It feels like you jumped into an instagram page. Great place for a drink or two. Interesting and eclectic menu that has drinks for just about anyone. The place is cute, but that's about where it ends. The food took forever to come out, and so did the water. Our appetizers arrived at the same time as our entrees. Both my food and my friend's were just OK nothing special. It was hard to get the waiter's attention even when we were ready to pay. The bathroom was honestly disgusting-clogged tiny, shallow sink that splashed when you turned on the faucet . Cute vibe, but not worth coming back. read more

I was wowed by the bold floral design I saw on IG & Google Maps, so I made a brunch reservation for my husband & me, as we had an errand nearby. As it happens, only half of the restaurant has that bold floral design...the other half is cute, if a little plain. I am absolutely in love with this place! As you walk in, you already feel as if you've been transported to a whimsical cottage in the middle of a fairy tale forest. The influencers are going to go nuts. The garden is so beautiful, can't wait to dine there in the Fall. We had a girls night out birthday dinner and ordered a ton of apps. Whipped Feta - creamy and delicious, love the honey Chicken bites - standard, crisp, what you'd expect French dip poppers - by far my favorite - chef's kiss Shishito peppers - perfection Fried pickles - love that they are cornichons! Hot wings - excellent, fell off the bone We then shared a few entrees Shrimp pasta - full of flavor, nice plump shrimp! Chicken schnitzel - cooked to perfection, just the right amount of side salad and the potatoes are a great touch Gnocchi - the only dish we were not crazy about. It doesn't state this on the menu, but the gnocchi sits on a bed of ricotta and we felt like it just overpowered the dish. The gnocchi itself was delicious though, just wish there was more of that. Lastly they had a basque cheesecake with peaches on the menu, but they were unfortunately out of it. Hoping to come back and try it before it's no longer a special. The staff were so welcoming, attentive and pleasant. Our server felt so bad that they were out of the cheesecake for our birthdays that she gave us the "birthday" whipped feta complimentary. Best Employees Ever! We heard it's delicious and has a great atmosphere, however we couldn't make a trip over due to our flight time being changed. I saw a mouse run from a corner booth, across the room, around the corner, and into the kitchen. I very discreetly mentioned it to the server to be polite, and they did nothing about it. Absolutely love this place for their intimate cozy setting, warm hospitality, and savory food! I have hosted a birthday brunch here and then had two friends also host their bdays at Wildflowers as well. Everyone had a great dining experience with some of the standouts: French dip spring rolls, cacio e pepe pockets, spinach and artichoke dip, wildflower burger, and the chicken parm pizza. Their extensive drink menu has thoughtfully crafted cocktails that we tend to always try different drinks each time we go. This place has aesthetically beautiful decor starting from the florals in the front all the way to their garden patio area. The vibe creates a comfortable setting for happy happy, date night, and a night out to catch up with friends. I would highly recommend for private events and celebrations because Wildflower is on point with their delicious food and attentive service. Great new place. I went shortly after they opened. Terrific location right at the steps of the high line park. They did a great job tying the decor in with the park. It's almost like an extension of the high line. I expected the cocktails to be amazing , but I was surprised by how good the food is! I tried several dishes and enjoyed them all. Chicken schnitzel was my favorite , but I also loved the spaghetti with shrimp , and the gnocchi. I would order any one of the three again depending on my mood. Great selection of drinks , well thought out menu , beautiful decor , and super friendly service. The layout of the space is very comfortable as well. The dining area is relaxing , as it is separated from the bar area. I'm excited for The planned outdoor space to open (maybe it already did). You can't go wrong here.
