Willie's is a franchise much like Popeyes which happens to be right across the street from Willie's but the difference between the two is night and day. Willie's serves up some of the best Chicken tenders I've ever had. The tenders are so juicy and piping hot and the biscuits are glazed with honey and are so delicious. You have to wait, but it's worth it because the food is served piping hot. They have red beans and rice, but we didn't try those. We had the catfish and the chicken and both were very good. My friends and I visited this location on November 22 around midnight. After placing our order, I asked an employee for the code to the restroom door, which was provided. We proceeded to the restroom, and while we were inside, what appeared to be the manager burst into the women's restroom yelling at us to get out. We were still in a stall when he began shouting at the top of his lungs for us to leave. When we exited the stall, we explained that an employee had given us the code because they knew we were paying customers. He then accused us of lying and insisted that no one had given us permission to use the restroom. He continued arguing with us, despite the fact that we were actively purchasing food. This was by far the worst treatment I've ever experienced at any establishment. I will never spend my money here again. It is unacceptable for paying customers to be denied restroom access, and even more concerning that a male employee entered the women's restroom while we were inside. This was an extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable experience, and I strongly advise others to avoid this location. read more
