A friend and I just stumbled upon Willmott's Ghost while aimlessly walking around downtown Seattle and catching up. We unwittingly stopped at the Amazon Spheres to take a call from another mutual friend we were trying to meet up with, then peeked inside the restaurant. It looked classy and smelled delicious, so we got dinner here! I really loved it. Our server told us they were best known for their cocktail program and their Roman pizza, which were both great. We also had a really lovely salad.

Willmott's Ghost was located in the Amazon Sphere's. It took us a little while to figure out the entrance, but it had a nice view once inside. We snagged a reservation like an hour or two before. It was in walking distance from where we stayed. The interior was cute and modern with a view of the pizza oven. We also saw them making the bread right there while we were eating! Our table of five ordered a drink each. They were good. For food, we sort of just shared a couple things. We got bread, Halibut, pizza, and clams! It was all decent, nothing too special. The Halibut was a little bland but buttery. The place was on the pricier side, and not sure if it was worth it. The server was nice. It was a unique place to dine for sure, but a visit is not necessary.

Go for Happy Hour! Breck, who seated us was the goat!! We got there as happy hour was just about to end and recommended the perfect happy hour items! We got the focaccia, biretta, fried veggies with the spritz Della giornata! Wonderful arrangement suggested by Breck. Eli and Megan were attentive and great servers. Best happy hour experience. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Reservation recommended or expect to wait. We didn't wait since we wanted to sit out on the patio. It's a bit noisy, outdoors, the wild and covered area with greenery and umbrellas help!! Gratuity is included. Everything was $100 Parking is free after 4!! :) I've found my new Happy Hour spot in the area

I mean I probably should have ordered the pizza but I wasn't that hungry and wanted something light. I ordered something off the salad menu and I was a bit confused/surprised. I'm assuming this was a sharing dish? I came by myself so this was a lot to eat. But otherwise, the service was wonderful and the restaurant is really beautiful as well.

Chicken with saffron cream sauce- to die for. Enough for two people if not fighting over the dark meat!

Dishes made with love and symphony of flavors. Cocktails are all made to order, and excellent wine pairing list.

Elegant, bright, modern space. Charming service. Beautiful food. Came here for a nice family lunch before touring the spheres. The appetizers had nice twists on favorites like burrata with rhubarb and thyme, or arrancini with an anchovy crust. The focaccia is to die for. The potato pizza was delicious with a decent kick thanks to the Calabrian chilies. The beans on toast had anchovies and preserved lemon that gave it a salty, bright accent. A lovely spot for a lingering lunch.

Squash blossom fritti- I crave it. Every day.

It's like the perfect one night stand, if there was such a thing. Pretty space, charming service, and delicious simple orders. Just right, just enough. I sat there for party of one, and I loved every second every bite every smile.

This place has been on my bookmark for a while. So when our work team wanted to do a celebratory lunch, I was excited that we are being treated here! Here is the breakdown: The bad: - Service: We reserved (and confirmed ) for 10 people, and when we got there, it was set for 8. No biggie for us-- but the host really showed that they were annoyed that they had to set up for another 2 seating. Our whole team just looked at each other confused. We wanted to thank the other server that compensated for the host -- because they were annoyed the whole time - Serving portion: ok... so it is a set menu of 6 Antipasti and 3 Insalata/pizza. The Antipasti are tapas sized servings-- literally a "cup". They served us 2 sets for 10 people. So one cup/ one serving for 5 people. We had to take small bites and a spoonful of food. If 2 people dined here, they will get the same amount of food. The serving size for 10 people was not enough. We paid 1k for this lunch.... Please do better. Good: - the ambiance and aesthetic of this place is Insta worthy - 3 dishes out of 9 were good and memorable. This is one of those "been there, done that" experience. The end.

Came here with a friend to celebrate my birthday. It's a really cute space with delicious food and drinks. Don't miss the focaccia - it is truly delicious! We also had the calamari (aka Kraken fritti), burrata, and a half/half sausage and potato pizza. And yeah, the charred rapini because we figured some veggies were in order. After feasting here, head next door to Deep Dive for more great drinks.

I really give this place like a 3.5 . This place can be really expensive as you're paying a premium for the ambiance and location of being inside Amazon's iconic Sphere's. We came here after work for some drinks and bites and while we weren't able to get a table, we were seated at the bar immediately. If you'd like a table I highly suggest you book in advance as reservations go quickly for peak times. The food was good, but kind of expensive. Not pictured was a burrata with kumquat which was deliciously paired with the focaccia, I think this was one of my favorite things that I ate! The richness of the burrata paired with the tang/sweetness of the kumquat went really well together. One thing I was disappointed with was the Manila Clams. Understandably, seafood always comes at a premium. I just feel that the flavors of the ingredients were not incorporated well and overall lacked a bit of flavor. However, their Manila Clam dish seems to be on a rotating schedule of different medleys so if you see something that catches your eye definitely try it. The pizza was very yummy and I loved the thickness of the crust! I feel like the preserved lemon was a unique pairing with the sausage and cut through the heaviness of the pizza. I would definitely recommend ordering a pizza to share here! The bartending staff were great to talk and very informative. One even made a custom drink upon request and nailed exactly what I wanted!

Super super happy we came! Portions are pretty big here, we were a party of 6 and ordered 2 pizzas, 3 appetizers, and 1 salad was perfect! ***What we ordered ~ **"Kraken" fritti (10/10) ~ Crispy, zesty, and a little spicy. This was great. Loved the lemon aioli because it gave the calamari more zest! Also the Fresno pepper gave it a little kick! Would definitely recommend ordering this! **Fritto misto (7/10) ~ This was similar to a vegetable tempura. There wasn't anything crazy special about it. The sauce was pretty good. If you're into a veggie tempura, I would say order it! But if your meh about it I would suggest skipping it. **Sausage, tomato, pecorino, mozzarella, preserved lemon, chili flake (10/10) ~ I LOVED IT. The sausage ratio was great, crust was fluffy and crispy, it also had a nice kick from the chili flake, and the preserved lemon gave the pizza a nice zest! I would highly recommend ordering this! Never knew that lemon on top of pizza would be soo good! **Oyster mushroom, ricotta, burrata, oregano, garlic (7/10) ~ This was pretty good as well! Although nothing stood out to me. I'm not a huge fan of white sauce pizza, but this wasn't bad! They were generous with the toppings and it was good! If you like mushroom pizza than this is for you! **Panna Cotta (10/10) ~ The texture of this was AMAZING. The top was firm, but when you take a bite it's smooth and soft! I also loved the preserved orange crisps on top! It added a nice crunch to the panna cotta. I would highly recommend ordering this! Overall, I would suggest making reservations if you can! This place is a little on the pricey side, but honestly totally worth it. If I'm ever back in Seattle I would definitely come back here again!!!

I had a fabulous meal here on Saturday evening. We were able to get a table for 2 without a reservation a little before 6 pm. I would recommend a reservation, though, because it was starting to get busy as we were leaving and the restaurant is a tad small, although if you want to play the odds, I bet sitting at the bar would still be an option. We weren't very hungry and somewhat undecided while we were browsing the entree options, but after seeing a plate of focaccia arrive at the next table, we decided to go with a few shared appetizers instead of entrees. My husband and I shared the burrata and focaccia (two separate appetizers, but a perfect combination), Kraken fritti and scallop crudo. Everything was fantastic. I'd say the scallop crudo made the least impression. The Kraken fritti (fried calamari) was light and crunchy and I loved the lemon aioli that had a little chili kick to it. The burrata was creamy and delicious. But the real star was the focaccia. It was phenomenal. If you read my reviews, you may know that I try to keep it keto, but wow, if you're going to splurge on some carbs, this is the place to do it. We shared two desserts (hey, once you've splurged...), a cannoli with figs and pistachio gelato. The cannoli was good but we agreed that the gelato was the better of the two. It had just a little coarse salt on top and was perfect for slow savoring. The service was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive and the ambiance is beautiful. I even brought my phone to take a photo of the pink tile in the bathroom. If you've ever been to a Renee Erickson restaurant you may already be in love with the aesthetic, but this restaurant has the added feature of being in the Amazon spheres which are full of greenery. When we were asked if we wanted to sit indoors or on the patio, I was confused thinking that the patio would be out on the street (although I didn't see one when we walked up.) The outdoor seating is actually in the spheres, and I'd love to check that out next time.

Got a seat at the bar without issue, which is always my preferred way to dine solo. From the first moment the hospitality was warm, engaged, and genuinely attentive. The bartender who took care of me throughout the evening set the tone immediately. Approachable, knowledgeable, present without hovering. The space itself matches that energy. Beautiful and considered without being stiff or self-important. An Aperol Spritz to open, well made, and the evening was underway. They started with a complimentary amuse bouche, a small but meaningful gesture that signals a kitchen paying attention. Bread followed and it was exactly what good bread should be, fresh, rustic, full of flavor. Then the Salsa all'uovo con cavolo arrived. Rich, earthy, and deeply savory, with the bitterness of the cabbage playing beautifully against the velvety egg sauce. Sophisticated without being fussy. The pacing between courses was handled exceptionally well, something that matters more than most restaurants seem to realize. The cavatelli con spugnole landed next. Rich, perfectly balanced, the kind of pasta dish that reminds you why handmade matters. Then the Salsiccia di agnello in pasta sfoglia, a lamb sausage in puff pastry that walked the line between buttery and flaky on the outside and deeply savory and herbaceous within. Notably they served the jus on the side so you could add as needed without risking a soggy pastry. Thoughtful execution. On the wine side I put myself in the bartender's hands for a white and a red to pair across the meal. Both were spot on. Their Italian list is well curated with strong options by the glass. A panna cotta to close was a clean, quiet finish to a meal that needed no grand statement to land. Spinasse is exceptional without ever reminding you that it is. The food and the service are the point, full stop. No performance, no attitude, no gap between reputation and reality. Exactly what a great restaurant should feel like.

Let me tell you, Lupo is high on my list of "Best 'Za In Seattle", and it will be on yours as well. The waiter told us something about how they're "fancy pizza but not stuck up" (not a direct quote), which fits right in with Seattle gastronomic philosophy. It's worth trying to get here early in the night, because it can be difficult to get a seat. And you want to have some time to sit down and enjoy this pizza. Make sure you wear your best sitting pants though, because you're in for a meal that will make you progressively adjust the belt loops as time goes on. I'm sure that there are plenty of top notch pizzas across the menu here, but the Caesar salad may have been a best-in-class item. The dressing was perfectly balanced with just enough anchovy taste, and there was exactly enough of it on every bite. Instead of having croutons in the salad, they had a heaping portion of toasted breadcrumbs that made each bite so much more interesting. Caesar himself would be proud. All of the pizzas sounded great, but I was pretty sure that they would be able to execute on a cacio e pepe flawlessly here, and I wasn't disappointed. The initial bite was everything that I could have hoped for. But I would make sure that you demolish this pizza promptly - it's not one that's great as leftovers. I think that is the case for most pizza of this style anyways. I am ridiculously excited about coming back to Lupo in the future to try more pizzas. FOOD POISONING ALERT…read more I'm 8 months pregnant and came here on Mother's Day with my husband and toddler, hoping for a nice family celebration. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. I ordered the seafood linguine special, while my husband had the veal marsala. The seafood in my pasta immediately tasted off -- especially the clams and mussels, which seemed old and likely frozen for far too long. Even my toddler, who normally LOVES seafood pasta at Italian restaurants, refused to take a second bite after trying it. I enjoyed seafood pasta from many other places but could barely finish my food that day. Later that night, I developed severe abdominal pain. At 8 months pregnant, any cramping is terrifying, and I genuinely thought I might be going into labor. After hours of pain coming and going, bloating, gas, vomiting, and diarrhea the next day, it became pretty obvious the food was the cause. Ruined Mother's Day and caused unnecessary stress during pregnancy. I will never order seafood from here again.

I tried to order the fettuccine de mare, listed at $29 (no extra fees on Toast), but they told me it would be $43. That already didn't make sense. Then the server says, "We actually have 50% off happy hour until 11, come in and dine." So I came in. Ordered a drink, escargot, and a steak medium rare. The escargot came out fine. Then... nothing. 39 minutes later (at 10:45pm), the server asks if I'm waiting on anything else. Yes... my steak. She goes to check, disappears, and then comes back with something that honestly felt DISTESPECTFUL. The steak looked like scraps. Uneven, mismatched chunks, all different sizes, with burnt, crispy edges and covered in sauce like they were trying to hide it. It didn't look like a single cut of meat it looked like pieces from multiple steaks thrown together. The plating was sloppy, and the side looked like an afterthought. I didn't take a bite. I looked through it and said, "This looks like pieces from different steaks." She told me she watched them cut it... then immediately followed that by saying she saw them put it under a heat lamp to reheat. So which is it? I work in the food industry. I'm not going to be gaslit over a plate like that. She offered to refire it, but at that point it was almost 11 and they were closing. I paid for my drink and left. Honestly, I wouldn't have been upset if they had just told me the kitchen was closing when I called. But don't invite me in, forget my order, and then serve something like this and try to pass it off like it's normal. Just be honest.

I booked this place as a birthday dinner for a friend and I had never been before. We were…read morepleasantly surprised by our experience and this was notably one of the better meals we've ever shared together. When we first arrived we were given the option of either the chef's counter or a table. I thought the chef's counter was a unique experience but for the night we opted for a table near the window. The space is intimate and even though there weren't many people there when we first got there, it still gave a warm and cozy vibe (quickly filled up though). The week of my friend's birthday they were only doing Seattle Restaurant Week, which I hadn't realized at first but the menu was amazing regardless. The staff was very attentive to us, constantly checking in on us and making any adjustments as needed. They thoughtfully walked us through our choices and when the food arrived. First we started with appetizers which I thought it was nice that you get to try all them and didn't have to choose one. The salad and asparagus is what you would expect, but they were perfectly done and not overly complex. The stand out was the Seared Tombo, the flavors of this dish were balanced and the fish was clearly very fresh! For our main we both got the halibut option, which came with a side of sunchokes. We had never had sunchokes before but were immediately in love (the fish was cooked to perfection too) but I loved the introduction of not so common ingredient. I thought it was a fun play on traditional "potatoes" almost. I'm glad we were able to try both of the desserts. My favorite was the tiramisu (I always love tiramisu). The carrot cake was more on the dryer side (almost like a cornbread), which isn't my preference but I enjoyed the flavors. Overall, really enjoyed this place and would definitely come back!

Came here for my boyfriend's birthday recently and we tried the tasting menu ($89/person + 22%…read moreautomatic gratuity). FOOD: For the price, I think this tasting menu is a good deal. We got 4 appetizers, a pasta, an entree, and dessert. My fav items were the shrimp in polenta (shrimp was crispy without seemingly any breading, perfectly cooked and flavored) and the lamb skewers (well seasoned and cooked. Big fan of lamb in general). I also liked the deviled egg on kimchi, though it didn't taste like kimchi very much. The salad had too much dressing unfortunately and the crostini was interesting. We got a few drinks but my main impression is that they are strong! SERVICE Service here was so great and friendly. I only saw 2 front of house and 1 back of house so it's a small place. The front of house also bartend and make the drinks. I do wish the front of house explained the dishes a little more when they brought out the food. They told us the name of the dishes but as I was eating I realized it would've been nice to get a better idea of what was in it exactly, or halfway through I'd think "wait what else is in this?" AMBIANCE Tastefully decorated, small, and intimate. It was not busy when we came at all, with only up to 4 other tables having diners. I think this allowed the staff to focus on each table a little better without being overwhelmed. Overall had a good time. I admittedly wasn't blown out of the water but for $89/person for a fancier meal, I would say this is priced right for what you get (food, service, and ambiance included).
