Pros: Delicious food, friendly service Cons: None really Details: We came here for breakfast on a recommendation from family. Really surprised how good it was. It has a combination menu of greek/American/Mexican. Not the fastest place but overall Delicious! We will want to try again.

I checked this place out due to my brother's recommendation and due to the positive Yelp reviews. TBH, the outside surrounding location looks a bit rough, so I would venture to this location only during the day time lol. I got the eggs benedict and a breakfast burrito (because I am basic). I have to say that the eggs benedict is one of the best I've had recently. Yolk was runny and gooey, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The breakfast burrito was good, but not the best that I've had. Contents were juicy and not too oily. I think they could put in a bit more filling. Most places also include some sort of small side which would be a good complement to this dish. There's a decent amount of seats inside the restaurant. There was always people coming in and out which speaks to the popularity of the place. You can also order to go which is convenient. Staff was nice which is a plus. Check this place out if you are craving for some brunch fusion foods.

Stumbled across this great lil gem of a place and all I can say is " where have u been all my life" extensive menu with waffles, egg Benedict, salads, sandwiches, Greek plates, vegetarian plates this is the bomb ... I had chicken plate my hubby had gyro plate both served with rice/broth salad huge amount for $13.99 each ... I'm so jealous for everyone that has the opportunity to live close ... I cannot say enough ... sit down area friendly staff ... only negative is closes at 3 pm This is it if in the area.

I have to thank my fellow Yelpers for their reviews for Willy's Eatery. That's what brought me in to try them out. I was specifically looking for a lunch special and they came up on Yelp after someone posted their gyro and Greek salad combo for $7.00. Well that price was almost a decade old. As we all know prices have gone up significantly in recent years. However that didn't stop me from trying out Willy's. Willy's is located in a 70's era strip mall where Thriftyland Disney discount souvenir store and an In and Out is located. Don't be tempted to chuck out your new experience and jump in the drive through at In and Out. As I pulled up to Willy's a woman was leaving and I asked her if she had just eaten there and she told me she's been going there for years as it's been serving the community for over 3 decades. The restaurant is not very big and the decor with the faux tin pressed tiles on the ceiling and the counter to order at gave off a bit of an old fashioned ice cream shop. I was greeted when I walked in and promptly ordered the gyro sandwich and Greek salad combo which cost close to $13.00. Not bad for a healthy choice for lunch. I'm not a fan of tomato so I requested none on my sandwich or salad. The food came out very quickly with the salad first and it looked great. It had red onion, cucumber, and feta cheese throughout. The dressing was a red vinegar balsamic that was fantastic. It was a lunch sized serving which was perfect. The gyro came out a few minutes later which the pita bread was soft and warm and without the tomatoes it was a very basic gyro with the lone meat and a small serving of tzatziki sauce on the side. I placed some of my salad on the sandwich and viola it was delicious. I enjoyed my lunch at Willy's and will venture back to try other items on the menu. They specialize in breakfast and burgers as well. I hope you enjoy this independently owned non corporate restaurant and support the hard working crew behind the counter at Willy's Eatery in Anaheim. If you're craving an eggs Benedict that'll make your taste buds sing, Willy's Eatery is where it's at! Tucked away in a cozy outdoor food court, this spot might not win awards for ambiance, but trust me, the food more than makes up for it. The eggs Benedict was perfection: creamy hollandaise sauce draped over perfectly poached eggs with just the right hint of paprika. The hash brown potatoes? Crispy, golden, and loaded with sautéed peppers and onions--absolute heaven. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you forget everything else around you. While the setting is more casual and laid-back, the friendly vibe and killer food make Willy's a must-visit for breakfast lovers. If you're in the area, treat yourself--you won't regret it!

Go here! We were tired after 3 days at Disney and needed a real breakfast. Willy's did NOT disappoint! We had the California Benedict, the denver omelette and the French toast breakfast combo. Good, basic Greek food with a lot of other dishes on their menu thrown in for good measure. We wanted Greek. Not Mediterranean, not Persian...you know...there is a difference. And Willie's reviews sounded right on. So, while being briefly distracted by their unique Eggs Benedict menu, the spinner wheel finally landed on the gyros and lamb kefta plates for us. The biggest surprise was the huge bowl of lovely Greek salad that came out first. Heaps of goodies on it - tomato, cucumber, onion, feta, Greek olives, tossed in a light dressing of olive oil and basalmic vinegar. My only wish was for more dressing, which I only had to ask for, and it was cheerfully delivered. Each platter arrived with a generous mound of buttered rice and a small 2 oz cup of their famous homemade chicken broth, which I unceremoniously dumped over my rice. (Since I've never been here before, I was winging it.) Good stuff! The gyros pita wrap was delicious. The ingredients were nice. I believe the gyros meat was a blend of beef and lamb. I just wish there had been a bit more meat for the price we paid. The pita was warmed on the griddle, and it had a crispiness around the edges that I loved. The tsaziki was well made and excellent tasting. The kafta meatballs were quite lamb-y and garlicky, but in a good way. We both love lamb in most any way, shape, or form, and they did it well. There are a few small tables right outside the entry, nothing fancy. So I checked to make sure we could bring our little Rosey, chihuahua extraordinaire. They are dog friendly. As for her share of the booty she has come to expect, she gave her two paw stamp of approval. Willy's is located in an aging strip mall in dire need of a face lift, so have no expectations of fine dining and valet parking here. Just expect good food, cheerfully delivered. We would return if we were in the area.

Great service and delicious and filling food - what else could you want? I tried the Eggs Benedict Greek Touch with "those potatoes", which is a classic eggs benedict, but with lamb meatballs instead of ham. The meatballs were juicy and very flavorful, and I thought the hollandaise sauce had the most perfect flavor and consistency. I liked the potatoes too. They looked more like hashbrowns compared to other pictures on Yelp, and they seemed to have less distinguishable bell peppers and onions, so maybe I got something different or it was made different when I had it that day. Either way, it was a good starchy compliment to the main dish. The baklava was flaky, nutty, and lightly sweet. I am still craving it. Definitely get a piece when you stop by!

I ordered through grubhub so my experiences might be different from what it's like for others who order in the building. I was super early for pick up because I was in the area. They were so friendly and offered me a drink while I waited. I was checked on and given a status update a few times in the short time that I waited. The food was great! I just moved from an area that has NO Greek food and I was so excited to finally have my Greek fix again! The gyro did not disappoint and the lemon chicken soup was SO good! This was my first time eating there and I love gyros. I asked for chicken gyro and salad. It was very delicious, gyro sandwich came in a soft pita bread, what surprised me most was the pilaf inside the sandwich and I liked it very much. It also came with garlic and tzatziki sauce. It's self order and they bring the food. Service was very fast. We paid at the cashier before leaving. Price is very reasonable. Order line was little crowded between 12.10 and 12.30pm. We also tried baklava, it was delicious. Will definitely try again. read more

I seem to end up here at least 1-4 times a week for my managers. I've grown to love the owners... they are so ADORABLE AND SWEET! Authentic and fresh Greek food. I always have detailed and large take-out orders that they kindly box up for me. They have taken special orders for me numerous times (my managers are picky). Had a great breakfast at Willy's. This is a very casual place, with the owner working the counter. The eggs Benedict were very good with fresh made hollandaise sauce. I had the Greek omelette which was that a cheese, basil, tomatoes, olives and I had him add in some mushrooms and Gyro meat. The service was great, but the seating limited. It was a great little place to stop and get breakfast on our way home from Disneyland. read more

Food and service is always great. We went for Mother's Day breakfast. We were welcomed as we entered. You order at the counter. There is a menu above as well as a print out you can use to select your meal. Ordering is quick and efficient. Food is delivered to your table. They have all the women that day a red rose for Mother's Day. Nice touch! read more

Eggs Benedict with Steak and Potatoes with Onions and Peppers - Items cooked to order, took 5-10 minutes - Eggs cooked well, fully cooked whites and a very runny yolk - Thin pieces of steak instead of ham; really strong flavor and tender enough to cut with a butter knife - Absolutely smothered in hollandaise sauce; sauce was thicker then conventional and had a strong flavor to it (mustard maybe) that made it stand out - English muffin toasted but lost its crispiness from all the moisture. - Potatos with onions and peppers needed salt, but tasted fine as everything was mixed together - Owner was really nice, took time to ask how the food was and if I needed anything else. read more

When I was craving something different for lunch, my co-workers suggested Willy's for something different than a normal sandwich. They were so right! Willy's specialty is Greek food and his gyro plate with salad and rice were amazing. And the staff - especially the owner - is as friendly as they come. I've been back three more times and have never been disappointed. And the owner treats you like family. I really want to try some of the other things people are crazy about, but I am so hooked on the gyros. This small restaurant in a strip mall is one of Orange County's stars! read more

Tried a little bit of everything for breakfast. Eggs Benedict was all about the sauce. I ordered the spinach but noticed the spinach may have been canned and not fresh. It was still delicious, but I would have preferred fresh spinach. Kids had the traditional options, pancakes, eggs etc. everyone enjoyed their meal. If your looking to eat out for breakfast and want a good meal without the hassle of waiting to eat at a dine-in, then Willy's is your place! read more

I am a regular here because of their lamb gyros and greek salad. I have been to a number of places like SD, LA and even Greece and compare Willy's to what I tasted in Greece which is fantastic. The other menu choices are not appealing to me since they are bachelor food such as eggs, sandwiches, and rice with no flavor. The place is small but tidy with excellent service with a smile. 10 stars for the lamb gyro and greek salad. read more

What an AMAZING whole in the wall place you guys have to check them out. I've been to tons of restaurants and they know how to make you feel like family. Kevin was such and incredible host and server makes you feel like you've known each other forever, You won't want to leave. The food is so authentic real food with real taste. Anything you choose will give you so much comfort and joy. There bacon burger is so juicy and meaty looks like this burgers you see on tv. The French toast was so fluffy and buttery and not over sweet and not dry either. Even there freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. And the owner what a sweet heart. And there baklava was so light crispy on top and soft and sweet definitely not stored bought at all. read more

Saw some good reviews on Yelp and decided to try Willy's Eatery for some Greek breakfast. We both had the Greek omelette with the fried potatoes. Both were pretty good, but the fried potatoes were some of the best I've ever had. The owner (Greek dude) was running the cash register and was super friendly and efficient and offered some suggestions based on what we liked, etc. Good vibe to the place once you are inside. The outside doesn't do the place much justice since they are in a strip mall next to various other unrelated business and a very busy parking lot (ah, SoCal). Good prices, friendly service, fantastic baklava. We'll stop back in when we're in town again. read more

I was so hungry and needed some bomb breakfast to put some pep in my step. Grateful that Willy's was open and ordered the sunrise scramble with egg whites. Wanted to try a new place, for breakfast, before heading home from Disneyland. Great reviews, so here we are. Definitely a family run restaurant and very welcoming. Tried the Denver and chili omelettes, along with the pancakes. The food looked great and great portion size. The omelettes were filling, but good, not great. The pancakes were a little rubbery. I was visiting my sister near this area and she recommended this place for breakfast. It was my first time eating here at Willy's. I got a bacon avocado with sprouts sandwich with a side of garlic aioli. It really good and hit the spot!! My wife and I really enjoyed this place. We shared a gyro and chicken plate and house-made baklava. The owner threw in a garlic paste with some peta to taste, which was not only nice of him but my wife love the garlic paste. I should also mention she normally doesn't eat gyros but she liked Willy's. We don't live nearby but I will definitely stop again when we are in the neighborhood. read more

Came here because of the yelp reviews. Big portions very inexpensive but the food was just OK. Small hole in the wall in a strip shopping mall those are usually my favorites cuz it seems they have some if the best food. Unfortunately the food lacked seasoning and flavor it was just bland . Very good customer service tall handsome gentleman that took our order was very very kind and attentive. You pour your own coffee at the counter which was cool. Maybe their Greek food is better? My friend had the Greek omelette which has feta and olives she said the olives took over. I had a mushroom avo bacon omelette that again was not amazing. I was disappointed in the food but again big portions and good service. read more

Was in the area and starving after morning meetings. Normally I'm not a breakfast guy. But for some reason I was craving hashbrowns so I got on Yelp and searched for places nearby. Took a look at willys place and saw so many pictures of eggs Benedict. Every picture looked great so I figured I'd have to try it. And boy am I glad I did. This was easily one of the best eggs Benedict I had. The only thing I can say about the restaurant is wow. Great job. Not ideal for any groups over 4 as the place is pretty small but tables are close. You can sit next to each other. Stop by! read more

Looked for somewhere hearty to eat and found this place while on a business trip in Anaheim. Had the #3 breakfast with hash browns and eggs over-easy. Just driving by and saw this cute eatery. Ordered eggs Benedict with hash browns perfect combination and great customer service!! There is a car wash in front of the store too so while you are waiting your car you can grab a sandwich or one of the lunch specials. Will definitely be back !!! read more

I order the cinnamon french toast and two eggs with bacon for take out so i wen to to get it and once i was ready to eat it at my work i notice there was no butter, honey, ketchup or any condiment i was really dissapointed about that and the food was ok i was expecting something really yummy due to all the good reviews they have. read more

Went to this place last week. I already went back this week. Atmosphere - cozy Service - Very friendly like walking into some one's home. Every one is very attentive. If you can't decide go with one of their suggestions. No bad choices here. Don't forget the baklava, delicious. Great pricing for the quality and amount of food. Highly recommend this place. This place is good but nothing stands out as amazing. The gyro is solid but it's also $8 or $9. Had the hummus but there wasn't that much bread. We ordered a bunch of baklava but there wasn't anything to really set it apart. I'm just not sure why it's rated how it's rated. Maybe best in the area? Yet again, wasn't top 1/3 I've tried but I've had a lot worse. read more

My wife, my son, and I got there about 9:20. We ordered our breakfast meals around 9:25. Took them 45 minutes to cook 4 pancakes, 3 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, toast an englosh muffin, 1 sausage omlet, and hash browns. I had to take half eaten food to go because the were SOOOO SLOW. And 2 pancakes and hash browns weren't even cooked all the way smmfh. And they took 45 minutes to prepare this food wth. THEY ARE WWWWAAAAAY TOO SLOW I'll never go back! read more

Needed a quick bite to eat and found this place nearby! Placed a phone order for the chicken pita and lemon soup to go. I personally love lemony dishes and this soup really hit the spot! It reminded me of a homemade dish my Mom would make. It had chicken and some rice in it. The pita was also good. The chicken wasn't dry and it was very filling. It also had rice and veggies inside. I would definitely come back especially for the soup. read more

Most recently Willy's Egg's Benedict was picked to be the best in Orange County by the prestigious Orange Coast Magazine (July 2010). I ordered the pancakes, and they were exactly what you want from a great breakfast spot. Thick, fluffy, buttery, and full of flavor. The syrup paired perfectly with them. We also ordered waffles loaded with fresh strawberries, and they were incredible. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped with generous amounts of fresh fruit. The crepes were another highlight. They looked amazing when they arrived and somehow tasted even better. My wife ordered the California Benedict, and that was probably one of the best dishes at the table. The avocado, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and bacon all came together perfectly. Every bite looked fantastic and disappeared quickly. We also tried an omelet loaded with vegetables, mushrooms, spinach, peppers, and cheese, and it was cooked perfectly. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and that they weren't cutting corners. What really stood out to me was my kids. Normally they're pretty picky eaters, especially when we're traveling. This time, they cleaned their plates. Pancakes, waffles, crepes, eggs, bacon, everything got eaten. There was barely any food left on the table by the time we were done, which says a lot. Beyond the food, the staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the entire place felt welcoming. It's also incredibly convenient if you're visiting Disneyland or staying at one of the nearby hotels. Great food, great service, great location, and a family friendly atmosphere that actually delivers. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Anaheim. Highly recommended.

When I first went to Willy's back in 1999!....they had something called "World's 2nd Best Chicken Sandwich". I thought it was so funny and wondered who was the World's Best. But it turned out that they were being overly humble! This place has the WORLD'S BEST chicken sandwich! I always get the Southwestern Chicken Sandwich which has a nice slice of green chile.....the chicken is moist and tender. It's the shredded kind, not the thick filet that's hard to chew and rubbery at most other places. This sandwich melts in your mouth and is SOOO good. It is the BEST chicken sandwich of any other food place I've ever had! And I'm not the only one who thinks so. Everyone else I take over there says the same thing! For 20 years, I haven't eaten a chicken sandwich that's better than the one at Willy's. Go and see for yourself! read more

Totally forgot to take the pictures before I started eating. But the smell and taste we're just amazing! I got #20 their New Ribeye Omelet! My wife also got an omelet that had avocado ham and cheese! They both had Hashbrowns and your own side of toast! Honestly, it was a lot of food! Hashbrowns are thick cut, which I love! I hate how dennys gives you those thin, crusty hashbrowns. Here you don't have to worry at all! The steak in my omelet was a perfect medium rare! A stuffed omelet with all that meat! I highly recommend that #20. One big upside is that this is family-friendly and, most importantly, Christian Friendly as well! read more

I'm giving it a 3 star rating primarily due to the fact that my order was missing the baklava and the side of macaroni salad that I had requested. In general, they included a generous portion of rice; however, I would have appreciated a bit more veal as the portions resembled sausage patties from Costco in terms of size. Tiny hole in the wall restaurant, and a little dirty but looks can be deceiving. Went in there and ordered the eggs Benedict. Service was a bit slow getting the food out, but well worth the wait. The consistency and flavor or the hollandaise sauce was perfect. The poached eggs were perfect and the ham was good as well. Great small place. All staff a pleasant from the second you walk in until you leave. Place is clean and they attend to table as soon as guest leave. There were 3 in our party and we all liked our food choices. Only thing that was weird was they don't serve French fries. Maybe a Greek thing? It is on a small shopping center with ample parking. We were warmly welcomed by the owners William and Anne who have pictures on the wall of their wedding 45 years ago. It is worth it just to meet this couple. The food was absolutely delicious. The best chicken around. I always get Willy's Greek Wrap, which has hummus, rice, some veggies, and a whole lot of flavor. Comes with a Greek salad for under $9 and is one of the healthier lunch options in the area. The chicken plate is more popular, but I prefer the wrap since it's easier to eat on the go and has their hummus inside. read more
