Nope. Won't go again. Soggy mushy rice. It was just gross in the bowl. Even the limes were tossed in the bowl as though you can f ing eat them with a fork. Wtf. Why wouldn't you put like on the side??!! And why would you cut them up smaller making it harder to squeeze?? Ugh, most chain restaurants are so bad. Kale Me Crazy, Panera, and Bar Taco might be the only major chains I actually like. I also didn't know I'd have to request the sauce on the side either. Never again. Gross. read more

Stopped by Willy's for a take out order of salads. The quality was great as well as the service! The line went quickly, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I ordered the steak fajita salad and a chicken burrito but as a salad. Both came with a side of fresh nachos. The salads were standard Mexican fare but you could choose your own toppings. I added grilled veggies, their different salsas, cheese, black beans(I didn't see pinto),and parsley. They also guacamole, sour cream, and peppers to add. Each salad ranges $7-8. In all my years living in Atlanta, it took me years to finally eat at a Willy's restaurant, although I have had Willy's catered. After my first time having Willy's a year ago, I jumped at the chance to eat at the original location for a work lunch. The original Willy's is located in a large plaza with a tricky parking lot - so, thank god I wasn't driving. The interior is pretty large with an expansive area of tables and seating. We arrived right before the lunch rush so we were able to snag enough seating for our semi-large group. I love the Baja Burrito, either with steak or chicken, depending on my mood. The queso (cheese dip) is what really makes the burrito. You can't get that at Chipotle! The burrito is pretty large and filling - it put me in an instant food coma. The various lemonade options did not help me fall from my sugar high crash. I made myself an Arnold Palmer, which was quite tasty with the flavored lemonades. And can I say free chips and salsa? Willy's is probably my favorite alternative to Chipotle. For some reason, I just love the way Chipotle burrito bowls taste slightly better. But when I'm feeling something a little different, I can't help but pounce at the opportunity to eat at Willy's. read more

Super easy for a quick lunch or early dinner when I'm in the area, which I am a lot these days. It is a pretty busy Willy's but there is a lot of seating (especially compared to the one just south of Peachtree Battle closest to me) and they are efficient. As is typical of any Willy's, generous portions in the burritos, etc and good prices. My longtime fave is still a chicken or beef burrito with no beans and added guac and fresh cilantro and diced tomatoes. Occasionally a taco or two. Lots of parking in this lot and they have local circulars in stands that are great for perusing when you have a little time! read more

I must say that the Willy's at 4377 Roswell Rd is by far the best Willy's in the metropolitan Atlanta area. I am a huge supporter of quality customer service and this restaurant should be the restaurant by which all stores should measure themselves by. The managers, Ramee and Stacie, do an exceptional job ensuring the customers are happy and satisfied, while making sure the operations of the store run smoothly. The staff of the entire store are friendly and courteous. Always willing to help the customer while maintaining a smile on their faces thereby making the customers feel comfortable. This was the first Willy's location. At least, I assume that since it's listed as Willy's #1 store when you check in on foursquare. This location is full of families. All the time. I can't recall a time when there was less than 5 people in line in front of me, and often that number is at least 15. But they keep the line moving. As I mentioned in other Willy's reviews, I get either the burrito or the salad. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, my favorite of the burrito places. I almost never stay at Willy's to eat. This one does have a patio, but with it's western exposure, it's got full sun beating down on you for most of the afternoon and evening, so it's unbearable in this heat. Speaking of foursquare check-ins, Willy's give you a free guacamole ($0.80 value) when you check-in. It used to be a free small cheese dip, but this is better for your health. Also, during National Salad Month (can't remember now when it was) they gave you $1 off any salad. They've got one of the fancy coke dispensers here, often with a line of amused children. Today was my first time ever coming to a Willy's. Being from a Latin family that owns a few Mexican restaurants, I usually stray away from these places (Chipotle, Moes, Qudoba, etc). However, a friend kept raving about this place so I decided to come give it a try. Service: I was immediately greeted when I walked in by both the manager and an employee. They both were more than happy to help me with the menu and made a couple great suggestions. They prepared my food quickly, and the manager was extremely patient with me when I was paying with a ton of change (sorry! College student struggles). I loved that they were very engaged with me and held up conversations. Food: I ordered the most popular item: the Baja Burrito. It comes in a bowl, and you can choose your toppings (I went with spicy chicken, guac, pico, lettuce, and sour cream). It also is served with rice and beans (yum!!) and a free side of chips. The portion is extremely large so be prepared to feast. The burrito itself was extremely tasty, and the ingredients were definitely fresh. I also ordered a side of cheese dip, which to me could have used a little more flavor, but overall wasn't that bad. They have a salsa bar with a few different choices, and I tried/enjoyed all of them. Overall, I definitely enjoyed my experience with Willy's, and I will be returning very soon! read more

My boyfriend would say im obsessed with this place because I insist on eating here at least once a week. I always get the super chicken nachos and haven't run across a bad batch yet (I even like them heated up the next day - although, as to be expected the chips are soggy). Last night I ordered the queso as well - yum. It's super creamy and has a slightly different taste that I haven't encountered elsewhere. My bf got the chipotle pork burrito this time. He usually orders the adobe chicken burrito, which he loves. Said the pork was OK but definitely prefers the adobe chicken. My only real criticism for this place is that they are usually stingy on the chips. A handful comes with your burrito order, but last night when I ordered the queso I had to ask for chips to go with it. I've been eating at Willys ever since they arrived in Atlanta, Ga. I usually get the burrito bowl or wrap with rice, black beans and the spicy chicken, cheese, and cilantro. Before I went I poked up their location on my phone and was taken to some Yelp reviews which really weren't that positive. With one person who had said they'd never go back. So, when I went went there around lunch time I was surprised to see quite a few customers. I ordered my usually and took it home to eat. The problem with the food is that it didn't taste fresh. It tasted like my spicy was mixed with some chicken that was left over from one day or two days ago. Whatever chicken was still left over at the end of the business day was kept and refrigerated for the next day and mixed in with whatever fresh chicken they prepared for that day, instead of being throw out. I was pretty disappointed. I guess that is what one person who had eaten there meant when they said, this location which use to be their spot had lowered their standards.If the choice was eating there or somewhere else, I'd go somewhere else. read more

While I usually randomly LOVE dining at places where theres a persons name in restaurant (Moe's, Joe's Crab Shack, Al's Beef), I was a little hesitant on this one at first because I don't think I have ever met a Mexican guy named Willy. If it was Willy's BBQ, or Willy's Southern Comfort Cuisine, I wouldn't think twice, but really, how good could Willy be at making Mexican food? Apparently he's been to mexico a time or two because he nailed it. Ive gotten a few things at Willy's now, but the dish that makes me always crave coming back in is the Nachos. They come with almost everything on the food line, which is awesome, but to make them even better I highly recommend getting the chicken on top (I like the spicy one for a nice kick), and if you dont get the melted queso dip on top too, you will surely regret it. I dont care if I have to stop eating for the rest of the week due to the calorie load here, these nachos are fricken worth each bite. I heard that even Michael Phelps only needs to eat one plate of these and he's full for the day. If you want to attempt to be a little healthier, I def recommend getting all the fixins in a bowl instead of on top of nacho chips. All the taste, but none of the filling chips. Me and my family have been regular customers here. It is conveniently located right down the street and we always get great service. However, my visit last night made me never want to go back. We came later in the night after the dinner rush. It was apparent that the employees had been working all day and wanted to go home. The lady who made my quesadilla and handled the register was on edge. After grabbing our food and sitting down to eat, I went up to her twice because she got parts of my order wrong. The last time I came, I ordered the vegetable quesadilla and they gave me a bean and cheese quesadilla. This happened again and when I went back up to the counter for the second time to ask that they add the vegetables, the lady rolled her eyes and said in an irritated voice: "Well, I can make you another one?". I told her to just add them on the side and then they dumped some red peppers in a small cup then tossed it on my tray. (Who wants a vegetable quesadilla if the only vegetable it has are red peppers?) This is not the regular service we expect at any Willy's. The employees need to be better managed, starting with instructing them on the proper ingredients and components to their food. This poor service is a disgrace to the Willy's brand. read more

Great value. Food is fresh. Quantities are generous. Quality is excellent. Service is good. I have been going here since it opened at least once a month, if not once or twice a week, and it is always delicious. My favorites are the salad, burrito, and quesadilla. The other burrito places don't even come close to Willy's. I've brought at least 5 friends here over the years who had never been before and turned them all into addicts. My only wish is that they open more locations in the suburbs. read more
