We had a bunch of varied stuff from the DimSum Menu, and it was all top top notch. Cant remember exactly what we had, it's a picture menu, and as the waiter didnt seem to speak much English, it was point and shoot. All of it was distinctively yum. Like just about every place you can go in Chinatown, the premises appear slightly run-down, in that "we've been here for a hundred years, and you're coming here to eat, not ogle the architecture" way. Turned out not to be cheap-bill for 2 = $80 + change without any booze. But the quality of the food was over the top. Don't mind paying the freight, when the feed is worth it.

Thanks to my deep dive and discovery on Yelp, MCCB turned out to be the perfect spot to achieve this. The restaurant has held its Michelin status for five years now, and for my first time visiting, the flavors here were incredible. Please note: the restaurant signage is not easily visible from the street since the storefront faces inward toward the mall plaza, and while looking for it, I ended up asking a local man and his wife for directions. He was so kind and welcoming that he unexpectedly left his wife on the sidewalk, my husband in the car, and walked me right across the street and into the mall to point it out from the inside! WAIT TIME: there is a 1 to 1.25 hour wait period to be seated for a table, and a $10 fee via credit card is required to secure your spot, which is then fully transferable to your bill upon checkout. The wait is a great time to walk, explore the shops, restaurants, all Chinatown has to offer, and get your steps and miles in! SERVICE: our first server, Allen, was a bit on the stiff, curt side, but overall nice. However, we had to move from a two-top table to a four-top to accommodate all the dishes we were trying. In that changeover, we were blessed to get one of the BEST servers there, Ashley, who made the experience wonderful. FOOD: we ordered an absolute feast, starting with three starters. The Cheng Du Style Dumplings were fantastic. The Crispy Crab Rangoons were actually not mini at all and had a great crunch. The Szechuan Style Cucumber was a bit underwhelming and a slight bit on the soft side for my tastes, as I prefer my veggies crunchy even when cooked. We ordered everything with the mild heat option so there was no overwhelming spice, just great flavor. For the main dishes, we started with the Cauliflower Flank Steak and added broccoli to it, which was a fantastic addition. It is cooked in an oyster sauce and has none of the standard sweeter seasonings of the other dishes. I chose this to balance a sweet and salty rationing across my dishes, finding that MCCB is a great place to get that perfect balance. The Chicken in Spicy Garlic Sauce was perfect with the mild heat option as well, and the Honey Black Pepper Flank Steak was also incredibly savory, tender, and good. We paired everything with garlic string beans, white rice, and a great jumbo shrimp fried rice. I preferred water, while my husband had a few Diet Cokes. The food comes out hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. PARKING: parking is convenient--there is street parking or you can use the two north and south lots within walking distance. The north lot is on Archer and Wentworth, and the south lot is on Cermak and Wentworth. Validated parking is permitted for a maximum of 3 hours, and you will only pay $3 with the validation. Just make sure to stay within that time limit and get it validated, because if you go over the 3 hours or forget the validation, you will have to pay the full price for the lot. PRICE: the pricing here is very reasonable for a Michelin-recognized restaurant. Our dinner came out to just under $146 total, which offers phenomenal value given the large portions and top-tier quality. If you are seeking high-quality, delicious Sichuan food in Chinatown that completely lives up to its multi-year Michelin status, and can be customized perfectly to your spice comfort, this is a great place to go. Highly recommend and will return with family!

Never open, and she doesn't care either. She treats everyone like garbage. There is only one good dish here and all the rest are better elsewhere. My whole company hates this place and they're right. She's a bee-otch and her food sucks. Whenever I ask "Does anyone want Wing Chong" the attitudes come out and everyone's like "no way that place is soOOoo gross. I can't take it anymore. She's never open and now door dash took my money because she's signed on with them. I just moved to Chicago two weeks ago, and I've eaten at Wing Chong twice. The first time because it was closest and the second because I wanted some more. I have found both the meat and the vegetables in their dishes to be both fresh and in generous amounts. Darling, if you dislike dealing with customers so intensely that every interaction must be accompanied by an attitude, perhaps customer service simply isn't for you. A janitorial position requiring considerably less contact with the public might be far better suited to someone with such spectacularly misanthropic tendencies. Darling, if you don't like dealing with customers and give us attitude, perhaps customer service is not for you. Janitorial job is, by far, the most suitable for a person who happens to be a misanthropic manager. Customer service requires courtesy, darling. Contempt for customers is not a managerial qualification. I have rarely encountered a business so determined to make its own customers regret walking through the door. The food is mediocre Chinese takeaway fare at rather immodest prices. It is edible, certainly, but there is nothing sufficiently exceptional about it to compensate for the astonishingly poor customer service. The principal problem is the woman currently operating the establishment, whose manner towards customers is so consistently rude, dismissive and unpleasant that one begins to wonder whether she understands the rather elementary principle that customers are not an interruption to a business. They are the reason the business exists. There is something almost fascinating about watching a business take regular customers for granted. Perhaps having little nearby competition has created the illusion that courtesy is optional. It is not. Customers may tolerate mediocre food for convenience, but very few will tolerate being treated with contempt indefinitely. Even disposable chopsticks and forks are charged at 50 cents each. On its own, that might merely seem petty. Combined with overpriced, thoroughly ordinary food and dreadful customer service, however, it becomes wonderfully symbolic: apparently every small courtesy has a price here, except rudeness, which is supplied in abundance and entirely free of charge. The truly remarkable thing is that the food is not even the greatest threat to this restaurant. The attitude is. Restaurants survive because customers return, recommend them and feel welcome spending their money there. Drive enough people away and eventually there is nobody left to inconvenience. Perhaps management should remember that a regular customer is not an entitlement. Neither is a good reputation. Both are earned slowly and can be lost remarkably quickly. In an age when customers can publicly describe exactly how they were treated, behaving as though their patronage is beneath you is not merely rude. It is commercially foolish. If this establishment ever finds itself wondering why loyal customers stopped returning, why recommendations disappeared, or why people began spending their money elsewhere, I would suggest looking somewhere considerably closer than the kitchen. A mirror might be useful. Courtesy costs absolutely nothing. Losing customers because you could not manage it can become extraordinarily expensive. And should this business someday struggle because customers finally decide they have had enough, I sincerely hope nobody blames the economy, competition or supposedly "difficult" customers. Sometimes a business does not need an enemy. It simply needs someone behind the counter sufficiently determined to destroy its reputation one customer at a time. ZERO STAR. The food is forgettable. The prices are questionable. But the customer service? My dear, that is memorable for entirely the wrong reasons. One final piece of advice: treat every customer with dignity, because one never knows which departing customer will take ten others with them. Also, when I try new place I put them on some cute plates. Next time, paper plates. I loved beef fried rice. I had scallions and bean sprouts. Next time I will order extra. You can tell that the food has been kissed by the wok fire adding more flavor. The rice was good, add a splash of soy sauce and the flavor is amplified. It tasted almost buttery. The beef egg foo young was a little lighter in color than I'm use to, but the flavor and texture was fluffy and moist not dense and dry. I can't wait to try more things on the menu especially since they have lunch and dinner specials.

I went back for my old favorite combo. 2 Shrimp egg foo yung Pattie's, w/chicken fried rice (This use to be shrimp) & an egg roll. The portion size is more then enough to feed boot my wife and I & we have left overs to boot. I'm not sure how long they've been here but I have been going here for over 25 years. Tried & true with stand the rest of time. Solid restaurant mostly carry out as the seating is limited
