Came with some friends and one happened to love showing off and decided to eat 20 wings with 'atomic' sauce. Mind you this is their spiciest sauce, I mean they don't call it 'atomic' for nothing. When I had to watch him eat every single one, sweating bullets, drinking 10 cups of water, & almost crying--it was pretty hilarious. Their standard hot: is delicious! It's exactly what you would give anywhere, mildly spicy with a kick Lemon pepper: addictive but can be a tad too salty Garlic parmesan: It was okay, not my favorite. I had heard from a few people about the wings here so I decided to give it a try. Just standing in line with flies buzzing around since they had the door open put a sour taste in my mouth. I placed my order and thought it was pretty cool they had 50 cent boneless wings since it was a Monday. I then proceeded to sit down in the obviously unclean dining area which had Jerry Springer on both TVs (yuck). If we did not have somewhere to go right after I would have taken the order to go in all honesty. The counters, table tops and venue in general appeared dirty. After 20 minutes (yes I said 20)! we finally received our order. I ordered a combo with the boneless hickory BBQ wings, an order of boneless Hawaiian wings and an order of boneless lemon pepper wings. I also ordered an additional side of the bourbon baked beans. My 7 year old son and fellow food critic was my dining partner. The BBQ wings were good but nothing spectacular IMO. The Hawaiian wings were okay. The lemon pepper wings tasted waaaaaayy too much like artificial lemon (blech). The french fries were very salty, limp and over all not the greatest. The beans were pretty good but I am sure they are out of can so they can not mess those up. At the end of the meal my son requested I just make him homemade boneless chicken wings instead of taking him back here. On Tuesday's it's 50 cents per boneless chicken wings. Limit is five though. I like this place because it's relatively cheap and I like their garlic parmesan chicken wings. And their fries are pretty good too. Not many people there even during the lunch rush which is nice and they have a TV that is turned to the sports channel. The first time I came here I literally drooled on myself while eating the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan wings because it was so good or it also could've been the fact that I had be sick with the flu a few days before and was unable to eat any solid foods until my trip to Wingstop. Nonetheless I thought the wings here were DELICIOUS! Crispy, fresh, and flavorful. I'm not really a fan of the seasoning on their fries. I like my fries lightly salted and their fries to me are a little too sweet for my liking but it is all ones preference. I usually get my fries here unseasoned. MEHH....nothing great. I'm convinced it depends on the night/time/people...too many variables to get a good batch of wings. Yes I know we're in San Diego....I just said don't compare but being from New York. Joe is from outside Buffalo and I went to Syracuse University...that IS chicken wing. I've had most of the flavors. Clear favorite is the lemon pepper, then garlic parmesan. Can be a little bit on the pricey side, but not too outrageous. The fries are kinda weird. It's got this sweet/salty taste that's not too heinous. Different, but not bad. I've had the wings, the boneless wings and the strips. Kind of out of the way to get wings so I usually go to Wings-N-Things in Carmel Mountain Ranch closer to my home, which I like better anyways. The crew is on point, like 90% of the time. Wait time can be long if you dont call ahead. I usually order on the app and it's ready by the time I pick up ~20mins. I choose the well done fries option as sometimes they skimp of the fry time. Their wings are always consistent. They've gotten orders wrong here and there but correct it if I ask. Out of all the Wingstops, this is the worst one I have been to. Upon entering Americo was standing at the register unoccupied. We did not receive a generous hello or welcome when enetering. We talked about how it was my friends first time and Americo neglecting to explain how the menu works. Americo seemed very rude and impatient and did not say a single word until we started to ask about the menu, my friend asked if the meal came eith fries and Americo answered and said yes as if we were stupid. I would not recommend coming to this Wingstop. The food took at least 25 mins to come out, there was a total of 3 people in the business, they were not busy at all. I finally decided to try Wing Stop out after seeing the commercials on TV and hearing of friends choosing to eat here over Wings N things. Oh wow was I disappointed. The food here was horrible where do I even begin? First off maybe because we had ordered chicken strips instead of wings we didn't get to taste why people are so loyal to this chicken chain, but I have to say that the chicken strips here were heavily breaded and tasted like they had just been taken out of the freezer then placed into a microwave and lightly tossed in sauce. I got the smoked BBQ sauce and my girl got the Cajun styled sauce and both of our trays had such little sauce that we both started to wish we had just went to Wings N things instead. At least over there they soak the strips in sauce and each strip is practically dripping sauce when you pick it up. Not the case here since the strips were basically bone dry with only a minimum coat of sauce which made tasting the previously frozen heavy breading even worse. The French fries were terrible and we were served so many burnt and crisp fries that they reminded me of chips. They put some funky seasoning on the fries too which made me think they want their fries to taste like Lay's BBQ chips. I was surprised too that they won't give you a ranch, bleu cheese, or mustard dipping sauce if you just order strips separate from a combo. Are you serious? Wings N Things would give you a dipping sauce that's for sure. Also, they don't give you any veggies unless you order a family meal. How unhealthy their combo is to just eat greasy thick breaded chicken, French fries, and a soda. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack with how much salt and sugar I just consumed and I vowed to never return to Wing Stop again. read more

I always get boneless garlic parmesan wings, regular wings with hot sauce, french fries, and ranch. They have a pretty good selection of flavors and sides. I definitely suggest ordering online if you're going to do take out because it can take 15 - 20 minutes to make the wings - I have to say fre$h wings is a good problem to have. I went to this Wing Stop last Sat! I had been eyeing this place for awhile as I LOVE hot wings! I even went in a month earlier but since it didn't have the aroma or fragrance of food whatsoever I walked out! I should have listen to my gut! I asked for hot wings with blue cheese dressing and what I received was the worst bake and shake chicken and watered down blue cheese that had no taste whatsoever! I ate at Pick N Sticks right next door with friends and walked out of Pick N Stick saying this was the worst food ever! I paid $18 for a drink and 10 wings! Was brought in by a friend who's been nicely dragging me around the city He mentioned the hottest wings he's ever tasted. He even asked the girl at the counter to tell me how crazy I was for wanting the Atomic, which she did, though it may have been to placate him. My curiosity was piqued. So I got 10 Atomic Boneless. They were...all right. Don't get me wrong, the chicken was great. Quality stuff. The fries were delicious. I even ate one of his original hot which was very tasty. The Atomic was a let down though. My personal belief is if it doesn't make you cry it isn't worth eating. I love the adrenaline rush I get from really spicy food. The Atomic just didn't do it for me. I ate all 10 without any dipping sauces and got no joy from them. Sadly the Atomic sacrifice taste for heat as well. I kind of hate that. It's one thing if they truly are hot, give me heat spare the taste, but if they're only kinda hot I'd prefer them to taste good (like the original hot...tasty sauce there with little to no heat at all). Relaying the story to another friend (who also seemed impressed that I ate the atomic without problems) I was chastised for not getting cheese on the fries. I don't know if the cheese sauce is special in any way, but had I read the menu I certainly would have gotten cheese and definitely will if and when I make a return trip. read more

I'll start by saying I'm not a wing person. My husband "requested" wings for dinner, so I stopped by on the way home. Looking at the menu I was looking for some sort of family meal or individual meals that would work. He even took time to help me adjust the tv so I could watch a sports game.
