I was craving wings over the weekend while in the Sports Arena area so I thought I'd try out the Wingstop here despite the low ratings on yelp. I should have listened to the reviews below because damn were they right. I came early evening on Sunday and I placed an order for their combo which comes with 6 wings, fries (I upgraded to cheese fries), and a drink. From the time I checked in, I looked at the time and 25 minutes passed and they still hadn't given me my takeout order. I'm pretty patient but for a place that's not even packed I'm not sure why there's that long of a hold up. I get that they're probably cooking the chicken fresh but damn are they slaughtering them back in the kitchen too? After the 25 minutes passed I stood up and asked one of the employees if they had forgotten about my order and all he said was, "Oh, we'll start making it now". Seriously? They totally forgot to make my food and wasted my time. The wings were just alright. Pretty skinny wings that were a tad bit overcooked but still tasted ok. We came here for lunch after my daughter's haircut. This place was meh! I had the 8 piece garlic Parmesan chicken boneless. The outside of the chicken was tough. The inside was cooked all the way and was a little dry. It was good dunking it in ranch dressing. The fries were almost burnt which I didn't care for. I do like how they have the Coke machine there. All you can drink. I had the zero fruit punch water or soda. I don't remember. Food was just decent. The guy put ice in the Coke machine because there was no ice and another guy put the cartridges for the syrup in it to replenish the flavors of drinks. The inside was clean and there's a restroom in the back. It looks smaller than other locations I have been to. Parking is located in front. It gets pretty busy here though. 18 to 20 mins I didn't feel like driving to EPIC Wings and Things (I know you read that review) and since I was stopping at 85 degrees I would come here. Its literally right next door. The place is a decent size to sit and eat and well mostly kept. There were a couple of tables that needed to be busted even through the patrons can just as easily tossed their own trash themselves. But overall clean. I got the large with lemon pepper and spicy Korean. That's where I was told 18-20 mins. Well I've been to Von (it's a Korean style chicken place in Hawaii. Not to be confused with the supermarket) so I didn't mind. What I did mind was #1. The cashier must have been having a bad day because he sounded like he was annoyed I was there. #2. The wings are different sizes so the smaller wings got way over cooked. #3. The spicy Korean was not very good and the lemon pepper was just dry because it was over cooked. At least the ranch gave it some moisture. #4. The fries weren't crunchy or tasted fresh. Overall three stars. And that's being generous. Real generous. A lot of people complain about the wait to get their food but our food took around 15min luckily since it was so late! We went with Garlic Parmesan and Mild Sauce, fries, and 2 ranch dips. I was honestly disappointed by the Garlic Parmesan as I read that a lot of people liked it. To me, it was rather bland and paled in comparison to BWW's Garlic Parmesan wings. They looked really good but they fell flat on garlic flavor and just flavor in general. The Mild Sauce was definitely better but it tasted just like a better version of a store bought buffalo wing sauce. The fries were just as weird as everyone said. They have some kind of weird sweet and salty seasoning on it and I'm not a fan. I would ask to order these with no salt/seasoning on them next time. Overall, this is a relatively cheap and good place to get a filling meal. The food did not take too long for us, the establishment was kept clean, and the food was so fresh. We ordered at the counter and waited about 15-20mins for our food.. a decent variety of sauces to choose from. The flavor is pretty strong. Boneless wings- big pieces juicy/tender white meat, the breading is crunchy. Traditional wings- also juicy and fresh. The meat came off the bone easily. The fries are full of flavor and crispy. The carrot/celery sticks are crunchy and fresh. I think this place will definitely satisfy any cravings for chicken wings. What killed it was the fries were on the salty side. I felt sodium overloaded after a few wings and some fries. This place doesn't serve wangs with breadsticks or carrots and celery like Wangs N Thangs. They have a small selection of beers to wash down that sodium. Cold food - missing items - overall, zero stars Ordered ahead for Sunday football for a 3:15 pickup. Arrived at 3:05ish and got my food - bag was cold to the touch. The food was so cold, it was wet (from cooling down in a closed bag). Asked when it was made and the clerk stated "10 minutes ago" total lie. But even if it was true, why would you make an order for 3:15 at 2:55? That gives it 20 minutes to get cold. The ranches in the bag were so warm, I think they may have gone bad. I ultimately had to have them remake the fries, but they just doubled fried them, which made an existing problem relatively worse. They also forgot my carrots, but I wouldn't be as upset about it if my wings were warm. To top it off, we bought 3 drinks with our food and there was no ice in the soda machine.
