The wings here are great. I always go with the Garlic Parmesan, Original Hot, and/or Lemon Pepper. Although this Wingstop's wings are similar to other locations, this one is a lot better than the one nearby on Whipple. The size of the wings seems to be larger here on average. The owner, Chevy, is extremely friendly and immediately greets his customers. Sometimes when I pick up my order, I find a few extra wings with my order. How can you go wrong with Wing Stop? (you could put on 10lbs in a week I guess) The customer service is ok... not great... but ok. The food however, is really good. The chicken wings are amazing... the fries are plump and super good... and the blue cheese dip is very creamy. The only negative... which really isn't a big deal... is that it takes about 15 minutes on average to get your order. With that said... 0 ZERO STAR FOR THE GHETTO/RATCHET EMPLOYEES! Ordered my food, and was expecting to wait at least 10-15 min since there was no one in line except only 1 person waiting. During my wait 3 people came in, had ordered online 50+ wings each, but was told the their online orders were not taken due to computer issues. So....my order was pushed back! we waited 30 min for our 8 piece meal and 10 wings! Forrealz?! Though I discovered Wingstop in Hayward, this Wingstop here is by far one of my favorite wingstops. There is several reasons for that: First is price, the prices here are actually slightly cheaper than the other wingstops I have been to. I guess all Wingstops are independently own and operated, so they are able to set their own prices. Secondly, they sometimes give you a little extra portions! I would order a 3 piece boneless combo, but then I would be surprised with an extra piece sometimes. Its touch and go at the wing stop. I've been here a few times. As an Upstate New York native, home of the Buffalo wing, I need to get my fix every so often. The fries are always a little slice of heaven. They mix just the tinest bit of sugar in with the salt that make them sooo tasty. My first stop in got me some really fresh and saucy wings. The wait is always long and it takes a long time for the food to be made as well. But we just expect that, I wished wingstop would figure out a faster way to make their wings and keep the quality. You gotta get the OG Original HOt. That's all I'll eat. I've tried teriyaki, garlic parm, lemon pep, and bbq. Garlic parm and lemon pepper are cool. I always think the fries are over salted, not just at this location but I think the wingstop recipe just calls for too much. So I think i'll ask for less salt next time. I called to order a 75 piece order. The employee on the phone put me on hold for 7 minutes. I hung up and called back and it just kept ringing. I call again and another person answers rudely. He asks for my name three times because he could not hear me. Asks for my telephone number and again asks for me to repeat it three times. I proceeded and told him I would like a 75 piece order. He cuts me off saying I needed to place the order online or in person. I explained I live literally behind their building and I was just put on hold for 7 minutes but he says he can't do a thing. This is the first wingstop I've ever been to. It was recommended to me by my cousin who loves wings and ate here 3 times a week when he was working at the rite aid next door. Together with my friend and my brother, we ordered the 50 wing family deal with the greens, beans, and fries. Right off the beans and fries were mediocre. They both ended up being food our group of 4 forced ourselves to finished. We had the original hot, cajun hot, bbq, and garlic parmesan wings The wings tasted like textbook standard wings to me, the orignal hot wing is what you would expect from a hot wing, the cajun hot wing is the orginal hot wing with cajun spiced unevenly on it, but the garlic parmesan was worth mentioning. It was the only basket I kept picking from when all the others became too much for me, and even then that became too much. Overall the value of what you get to quality of the wings is a good deal. I'd recommend this place to wing lovers. Everything is drenched in its respective sauce, so if you don't love the taste of the wing, after 2 or 3 you feel done. We had to wipe off the sauce off the original hot wings and then dip it into the honey mustard sauce to get a difference in taste so that we can finish it. You do have to wait a bit if you order a lot of wings, but that is not a negative considering they make it fresh. For me they lost points on the side dishes and the lack of something I would consider tasty enough to make this place be considered one of my go-to's to leave with a happy face. We usually come here for their 50c wings on Monday and Tuesday (awesome deal) and we usually shop at Safeway in the same plaza and there's a coupon behind the receipt for $5 combo for lunch ( pretty awesome). I have been a long time customer here. They have good customer service and they definitely do remember faces. I always order a 6-piece classic combo. Flavors are abundant. Fries are always tasty. Self-service soda fountain with many flavors to choose from. My normal order: 6-piece original with lemon pepper and garlic parmesan, well-done fries, regular soft drink and celery sticks. Flavors are on the chicken are up on par. Wings are of a good size, not too small. The ambiance of the dining room is not bad. The noise level is low enough where no one us whispering but you can still hear your party. Fairly clean. For me, most of the time I like to bringing my trash up to the counter rather than have the workers come out and around to grab my trash. Reduce their stress load if I can. read more

I hate chicken wings. I really like Wingstop. They make chicken wings that even a hater can love. My main issue with this place is that the quality of the wing itself varies with each visit. Sometimes the wing is big and meaty, other times it looks like a pigeon wing (but a super-duper tasty pigeon wing!). If they added on a few more flavors for a little more variety, that would be great. My rating has gone from four stars to three because our experience tonight wasn't as good. Service was fast and friendly, as usual. And the wings were enormous, but they also happened to be tough and stringy (exactly why I hate chicken wings in general). So I'm hoping the next time will be better. Also, we decided to give their dinner rolls a try and they seemed to be coated in a thick layer of butter-like fat . After doing my best to wipe that off, I took a bite and had to eject it from my mouth. They weren't warm, weren't soft, weren't flavorful, weren't moist. What WERE they, you ask? Repulsive. I would rate the food better, but the customer service can't be ignored. I was told by one of the staff that the owner was the solidly built middle aged black man. I wanted to complain to him about my experience, but the poor guy was working his ass off, in the hot kitchen. I didn't have the heart. I know it's hard to be a small business owner; he has to hire cheap labor, and he has to manage as well, but he's not hiring the right staff. The kids are clueless, as other reviewers attest, they've forgotten many things in the order; they're not proactive; and they just stand there and don't speak unless you speak to them. She continued to treat the customers before and after us with irritation. Hello, it's the weekend, you are a chicken wing restaurant, and you're open til midnight. She was incredibly rude. So forget about the rude service, if the food is delicious I will take all the abuse. Unfortunately for this Wingstop, it was quite gross. We got a mix of boneless and regular wings with Cajun, Regular,and Louisiana rub. Every single one was so salty. I don't know if the employees were messing with us and oversalted everything or if this is the regular recipe but it was like they dumped seasoned salt on everything. The boneless wings were not crispy. The fries are seasoned with something that might include sugar (or, again they were messing with us) but it was too sweet for french fries.
