I recommend Wok & Grill. It's freshly cooked food that's generously portioned and affordable. It's satisfying and filling. Wok & Grill sells Chinese and Hawaiian food. I ordered the Chicken Combo (Chicken Katsu & BBQ Chicken - $13.19) and Spam Musubi ($5.89). The Chicken Combo is a lot of food. The Chicken Katsu is crisp, large, and crunchy. The BBQ Chicken is thick, peppery, and moist. The rice and cabbage are fresh. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the macaroni salad; it tasted like water mixed with leftover mayonnaise. Thankfully, the macaroni salad's lingering aftertaste can easily be ignored. Also, I enjoyed the Spam Musubi. Its appearance is underwhelming; however, the flavors and textures are fantastic. Too many other places sell rubbery, chewy seaweed; squishy, spongey rice; and overly-sweet, mushy spam. Wok & Grill avoids these errors. I arrived at Wok & Grill on a Friday (around 12:16PM). The food arrived in 13 minutes. I noticed many customers entering and exiting. Wok & Grill's ambiance is mixed. The counter looks like a gasoline station window; it's surrounded by transparent plastic windows. The staff speaks into a mini microphone to communicate; sometimes the words are muffled. The location is also warm and slightly humid. The location has a restroom and several tables to dine-in. The music is barely audible; the hum from the soda vending machine is the loudest sound. The location is also relatively clean; I had to wipe off some tiny crumbs from my seat before sitting down. However, staff appears very dedicated. The chefs are cooking nonstop, and its cashier appears passionate when welcoming new customers. I noticed how staff flamboyantly juggled a plastic to-go bag between hands before handing the item. "I can read your mind," he'd playfully explain, before quickly saying "Hola!" to a new customer. Overall, Wok & Grill is easy to recommend if you're nearby. The food is great value; the staff is passionate; and the portions are large and tasty. Wok & Grill is not a unique experience, but it's a solid choice.

We were in Chino shopping and afterwards wanted to eat Chinese food on this cold, wet and windy day. Did a Google search and Wok & Grill popped up. I am so glad it did. The spot is located on the outskirts of a business park and it had a 4.3 star rating. We arrived and there was an A health placard displayed. Its a Mom & Pop eatery. The food is freshly cooked to order. It is tasty and with the current market as it is - the servings were generous. The pictures are 2 of the combination plates. One protein is $11 plate and a 2 protein plate is $13. What a value! We don't normally shop in Chino but if we do - I will go here again for my meal. Staff are friendly. Thanks Tony!

The cashier woman was extremely rude! She lacked patience while we counted out cash and when I asked her for a water cup, she purposely placed the cup upside down on the dirty counter.

    menu

We got 2 #B combos and it came with a free drink. Everything was pretty good but the chow mein was dry. The service was awful. The woman at the register was very rude. We were waiting a while for the woman to come back to the register and she saw us from the back and ignored us. We asked for a water cup and siracha packets and she dropped it down on the counter when we were reaching out for it. Definitely going somewhere else next time.

I've always enjoyed this restaurant, but it's been years since I've eaten here. After trying it again, I'd consider this one of the best places to get Chinese food in the area. Last night we ordered food to go. I tried spam musubi, bbq chicken musubi, orange chicken, house fried rice, and jalapeño beef. The rice at this place is cooked to perfection, whether it's on a musubi, fried, or just steamed. The spam musubis were phenomenal, better than just about any Hawaiian restaurant in the area. The house fried rice was also top-notch, as well as the jalapeno beef. I wasn't the biggest fan of the BBQ chicken or chow mein, though. I'll definitely be going back and only ordering beef dishes, fried rice, and musubis!

Service was good and quick. Came on a Tuesday evening. I had the garlic shrimp plate and order of cream cheese wontons. Only thing I was a little eh about was the garlic shrimp were just a tad bit salty but tasty other than that everything was good. I also like that they have all their sauces out for you to serve yourself.

Superb, cheap Chinese, Hawaiian food freshly made with awesome customer service. They deserve all the business. I've been here 3 times already, so I'm already a repeat customers because their food is crave worthy!! 20x better than Panda Express! Perfect place for grab n' go or they have lots of comfortable seating for dine-in too. Recommended!

Orange chicken, kung pao chicken, fried rice, chow mein. So good and fresh!

Easily the best Chinese food in the area. Everything we've tried has been delicious. The food is cooked fresh (no food is sitting out like other Chinese fast food places). The Hawaiian side is good too, but the Chinese food is top notch.

But the bbq chicken and bbq beef were right on the money. I did have a problem paying $24 for one combo and one drink, as even with these three items, I was still expecting the meal to not be more than $20 total. That will be the main reason I probably won't return. The service was good. It was quick and friendly. And the ambiance was alright too as everything was clean, efficient, and not distracting. I just agree with the statement earlier that there are better rice bowl, hawaiian, and/or teriyaki food joints in the area at either a much better quality or better pricing. This seems to find that line where what you get, though good, is a bit over-priced for what you get and there is no recourse to get something smaller because then you will be over-paying and still hungry. I'd almost give this place a 4 though because I did enjoy the meal quality-wise.

The cashiers and workers are nice, work hard, and the food comes out fast. It seems like most of their business is online ordering for pick up. The not-so good: The restaurant is located inside a food court and there are no signs outside the building that name the restaurants that are inside. We had to turn on Maps to find the location. I'm not sure if the tables inside are cleaned by the individual restaurants or are cleaned by a food court employee... but we had to check for sticky tables when trying to find a seat. The Mac salad has tuna in it. It's not to my liking but my husband really enjoyed it. I highly recommend splitting a combo plate(s) with your favorite person and try to avoid leftovers. The reheated katsu and rice just isn't the same as when it's fresh.... So even with having to check the tables - I do recommend eating at the food court for the freshest and tastiest experience

Usually I find the workers at Ono to be super friendly and nice, but the experience I had tonight…read morewas kind of an aberration. Yes, I arrived 50 minutes before they were closing, but it certainly didn't warrant being treated like I had wrecked wedding plans. First off, the first was good as usual. I was in the mood for shrimp and Ono is pretty reliable at making an inexpensive breaded shrimp entree. The BBQ chicken was fairly delicious. Ono making inedible food is never the problem. They consistently rock everything they offer on their menu. As some of you know, it's a pet peeve of mine when I call special attention to eating it there as opposed to getting it to go. I like taking my time--still being respectful if they're closing--to eat my meals while the food is piping hot, while I have access to refills if I need it, and while I still have the ability to order more while I'm there if I'm still hungry. I hate when food joints place everything in containers and bag it all up, trying to kick you out the door. It ruins the ambience of meals being a time to relax and recalibrate. Not to mention I appreciate the opportunity to take pictures for Yelp on a plate or platter while the food is looking particularly photogenic. I can forgive a place if they no longer use real plates or platters, opting for a container. But I despise having to remove my food from a plastic bag that I don't need and then becomes a thing that goes into the trash because it's now used. So it was that I asked for a tray so I could take my dinner to a table. Instead of giving me one though, the worker looked like she wanted to tell me no, that eating in-house wasn't allowed. She turned to her co-worker saying, this guy wants tray. The second worker then asked me, "Do you really need a tray?" I'm pretty sure that's not up to the worker to decide if I require a tray. That's purely a decision on whether my current food load, condiments, sauces, and utensils warrant having a medium by which to ferry all of it to my table. After assuring her that, yes, indeed, I needed a tray, she finally handed one over. After that, maybe it was part of their closing duties, but they constantly had one worker sweeping the floor, wiping the tables, pushing the chairs in, &c... while I was trying to eat. It was one step away from being surveilled during my meal. Perhaps they thought they could catch me underutilizing said tray to get a picture for a gotcha moment. Or maybe they just generally dislike when customers use trays. I don't know. All I know is it gave the whole meal a feeling of being on the clock, having such helicopter tactics utilized against me. It tainted the whole meal. I hate having people moving around me when I'm trying to eat, but it's especially unnerving when it feels targeted to make me uncomfortable. That's some passive aggressive silliness. As aforementioned, the food was still delectable. You really can't go wrong with Hawaiian food when you're in a certain mood--shrimp or otherwise. But I don't know how often I'll be coming to this location if this retaliatory behavior is what I can expect when I humbly give directions to eat my food there and utilize one of their most sacred trays.

I took my order to go so I didn't see it until I was home. Also, I've been coming here for a couple years and the employees tend to lean on the rude side. I asked about a meal deal wanted to pay the traditional way, and the employee barked at me that it was an online deal only and if I'm paying with card to order on the kiosk. I don't mind using the kiosk but the tone was very condescending. Then when I got my order and asked for tartar sauce the other employee handed it to me silently, I said thanks, he couldn't even say you're welcome or have a nice day. They should really step up their customer service skills and not be so stingy with the tartar sauce. It should be included with every seafood meal or have a pump at the drink station like the teriyaki sauce. Just weird vibes here. I probably will use a different location from now on.

They also sell noodles (noodle soups and garlic noodles) as well as tacos. It was a Tuesday so I decided to try their daily special Fried Chicken Plate with mac salad. I also ordered the HoAloha Chicken Mix Plate with green salad. Both plates come with 2 scoops of rice. Food was ok, but I've honestly had better Hawaiian food. First thing I noticed was that the rice they serve is jasmine rather than the Calrose rice that is usually served with Hawaiian food. Some people don't care, but I'm kind of a rice nerd. It's like using basmati rice in your sushi. You can argue that it's still rice, but it's weird. The fried chicken was hit or miss. Some pieces were good, some were dried out and hard. The sauce that came with it was good. The mac salad was very slippery compared to other Hawaiian mac salads I've had. I kept dropping it everytime I tried to have a bite. The texture and taste reminds me of the mac salad that comes in the tub from the deli at the market. As for the chicken mix plate, the Katsu was pretty thin and dry also. The Katsu sauce was weak - very watery and tasteless. The BBQ chicken was pretty good however. For some good BBQ chicken in the area, I'd rather go around the corner to Jinza.
