What's not to love about Woofpak Bakery?! My dog had won a free grooming appointment in a raffle and the staff was an absolute dream to work with! Everyone was so nice and understanding of my dog's needs. He's a very large, dog selective old man and Woofpak didn't even bat an eye when I explained his mannerisms and behavior concerns. The staff is well equipped to handle any size dog and accommodate their needs and comfort level to the best of their abilities and really treat your pet as if they were their own. My dog was a stinky boy and desperately needed a groom, and a little over an hour later, he came back to me bright eyed, bushy tailed, smelling and feeling amazing! The staff showed us some amazing progress photos during his groom and gave us a report of how he did. Lucky for us he was an angel for them and they loved working with him. The shop itself is also wonderful. So many options for fresh food, treats and chews available. If you need a special occasion cookie they have those in their bakery case. A self serve and fill treat bar is also in the back of the store and has some amazing treats to pick out for you pup as well. We filled a medium jar of mix and match treats for my dog and he was so eager to start snacking on them asap. 10/10 recommend coming here for all your pet needs! read more

We came to this specialty pet store looking for soft treats and a small cake or cupcake for our dog's birthday. They had a lot of cute stuff for a bigger dog, biscuits and harder treats, but we have a small older chihuahua who wouldn't be able to chew on those. There was also nothing in their freezers when we went in so unfortunately we left with no cake either. read more

Extremely disappointing grooming experience, especially for the price. My dog's haircut was uneven and choppy from head to tail, with obvious nicks and inconsistent trimming throughout. I've used multiple groomers with no issues, so this was not the quality I expected from a professional grooming service. I was also charged an additional $30 because my dog was considered "difficult." If my dog was having trouble during the grooming, I believe the groomer should have stopped and contacted me before continuing so I could decide how to proceed. Charging more without giving me that option is frustrating--especially when the final result was so poor. I was waiting next door at HeyTea so I easily accessible. The appointment took roughly twice as long and cost nearly twice as much as what I've experienced elsewhere, yet the haircut was noticeably worse. I'm also very uncomfortable with the automatic 20% gratuity. A tip should reflect the quality of service and be earned, not automatically added--particularly when an additional $30 charge is already being imposed. What really concerned me is that a friend had her dog groomed by the same groomer the day before and had the exact same experience--the same $30 charge and the same story/issues with the grooming. Unfortunately, the price, excessive time, added charge, automatic gratuity, poor-quality haircut and inexperienced/unskilled groomer simply do not add up. I will not be returning to Woofpak for grooming and will not recommend them. read more

This place is so adorable and clean. It's doggie paradise. So many wonderful treats and they allow you to sample some stuff. I have super picky dog and was able to find some stuff that she likes. The freeze dried fish is my dog and kitties fave snack though. Service is excellent. She is very attentive and loves dogs. You can tell she loves working there. All the snacks looks so pretty. Boba can't wait to go back.. it's just too bad that the parking voucher is only 1 hr now. So better run and bring the doggies here in an hr read more

First time walking in and the staff was really helpful. Led to the free samples for us to try which led us to try the minnow treats. Love in store made treats and the quality. Store is laid out in a way where it's easy to find items. Love the Christmas decorations as well. read more

This is inside the UTC mall in the food court side. I have been buying my Sage's snacks here since they opened. However, this time we tried their grooming service. We had to pay half of the service for them to confirm the appointment. They are on the pricey side and the 20% tip is not optional. It was pretty expensive. But they do 1:1 appointments. So, focus is only on Sage. When I picked up my Sage after the grooming, I was pretty impressed. They did an exceptional job and Sage did not come out stressed after the appointment. Will I take Sage here again? Definitely! But not very often since they are on the pricey side. read more

This was superrr cute and love the concept. Very open and pretty. Great food for the pups. However sooo expensive. I spent practically $200 but don't feel like I got much. I always give my babies the best so this was fine to spend but I don't think I'd come back. If I did, I'd get a snack or two. As pretty and nice as this is, for the price I paid you can definitely just created fresh food for your babies at home with real groceries. Obviously this is easier as they're already made. However. I go to Dexter's deli and they are more reasonable priced and have better rewards program. It was cute to visit but definitely overpriced. But they're in La Jolla. Services was great by the workers. read more

My wife spoils our dogs and treats them like our kids. All of our dogs are born in April and 2 out of the 3 are born April 1. She usually buys or makes them a cake for their birthdays and wanted to try someplace new. She searched on Yelp and found this place. Sadly they stopped selling the cakes! We should have called. When we came in we heard music from Hawaii playing. We found out that the groomer use to live in Hawaii and despite not having the cake I think this is the reason why my wife bought treats like we were hosting a dog party. It didn't matter the side comments I made or the facial expressions I made. In her mind she was supporting someone from Hawai'i. Okay that wasn't the only reason but it flipped the switch from 1 cake and 1 toy to way too much. Anyways check out this place. They make there treats. Our dogs loved all of it! read more

Came here with my sister and our dogs and they both loved the chicken fries treat, camel milk and chicken and rice! Store associate was so helpful and kind, she offer us samples of all items before purchase and that made it easier to decide what to buy! We ended getting the bundle (Camel milk, beef slider and chicken fries) and the chicken and rice meal to go for the other doggies cousins too. Woofpack has the paw approval of all 3 of our dogs. If you are walking by and are curious, don't hesitate check it out! And if you're fur baby is with you, ask about the samples, so you know what flavors to chose from before buying. read more

This store is so cute! They are so dog friendly, it is a nice quiet store and they have so many samples out for your dogs! I made the mistake of not bringing my dog, I will be sure to have them with me next time. I just know they will be spoiled in the best way if I bring them in here. Not only do they offer dog treats, icecream and food for dogs, but they also have other essential items and dog grooming services! They say they do one on one grooming session, so they don't have a bunch of other dogs back there with them waiting their turn. Your dog will be promptly washed and then you will be texted as soon as they are done! Their signature treatment they offer is the camels milk bath and it's amazing for the dogs skins! After talking to Ronni the manager, who is absolutely so sweet and friendly, I just know my dogs will be loved and understood here. Very cute store and the workers are so nice BUT the prices are just too high for me to return. I really wanted to like it based on reviews but $35 for a dog cake that is barely the size of my hand is not worth it. I can go to North Park and spend $5 more for a HUGE cake. I recommend some of their cookies which are more fairly priced out. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a look around. Also you guys - please get rid of the tip option. This is not a restaurant. EDIT: The cake was worth the money. Even though it is pricey/small - the quality is worth it. We even tried a little bit before feeding it to her and WOW. This spot is amazing for doggos. There are treats for them to sample and water outside the entrance. There is a cute bakery section and fridge/freezer items. If you want to spoil your pup I recommend bringing them here. The staff I encountered were very kind and helpful. read more

Our dog loves this store! We park on the side of Macy's and she literally drags us directly to woofpak! We love that they have the refillable jar of treats and our pup loves how many samples she gets in store LOL we also love getting her camel milk here. Prices are not clearly posted!! I saw my credit card charge and it was $185 for only two items! Their website shows the beef baguette as $18 and the 6pack braided sticks as $69.95, so I was surprised by the discrepancy. They also ask for tip for regular purchases and they didn't give me a receipt. I called the store and they told me the 6pack braided sticks are actually $119. I should have known better to than to trust they wouldn't overcharge. Beware of this place. read more

The employe (I don't remember her name) helped me to find the store (it's near Starbucks) I really wanted a cake but they didn't had cakes so I will recommend to call them before to make sure they have cakes. I work nearby and remembered last min that it was my Shiba's 1st birthday. I quickly went in right before closing and saw that this barkday cake was $35. I honestly thought the price was super steep. However, after talking to the worker I realized that they put a lot of creativity, craft & care into these pet products and the ingredients are very clean. I got the cake (hesitantly honestly) because I was running out of time and I was determined to go home celebrate my puppy. The consensus is that she LOVED IT. Even her (VERY picky) shiba mama loved it too. I am planning on taking my shibas back to this store to try out some of the free sample stuff. I highly encourage every dog parent to visit Woofpak Pet Kitchen. The staff and manager are not only inviting, but the creativity of this pet store and dog spa is nothing you've seen before. I became a regular after my first visit because the whole team engages with you and provides helpful information about dog health & wellness. They produce a good portion of their in-store products themselves and I fully trust their use of ingredients. The other brands they sell in-store are all carefully reviewed and assessed prior to their placement on the shelves which means they're subject matter experts on every product they sell - it's truly impressive. My dog LOVES it here SO MUCH. They've single-handedly changed my perspective on dog health & wellness. The ambiance, decor, customer service, and food quality are all 5-star worthy. The Mudroom - They just opened a pet spa and it is insanely luxurious. The prices they offer are low for what they provide your pet. My dog got a Camel Bath & Blowout with several add-ons. They lather your dog in expensive camel milk and use high-end, imported products to pamper them. I used to be afraid of taking my dog to the groomer because of so many horror stories. I'm NEVER worried about dropping off my dog with them. I feel like the term "groomer" doesn't even suffice. It is a luxury dog spa that is worth every penny. I used to spend $150+ at other groomers that didn't deserve our business. The Mudroom is seriously top-notch. They are pros at what they do. read more

The store offers lots of free samples and the staff member helping us was knowledgeable and excited to accomodate us. The store is very clean and organized with a large selection of food/treats. My two dogs always have a wonderful time visiting Wookpak! Both of my pups absolutely love any snack from the bakery! My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. There are a few tables inside and tables out in front outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful San Diego weather. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back here to try the gelato and/or a piece of an excellent looking lemon pie bar I spotted.

The other thing that got to me was that the men's restroom was out of service so they did not announce it or anything but the women's bathroom was to be used by both genders but it was crowded so a bit uncomfortable. Service wise we got our deserts and the deserts are still very delicious. We were a larger party and they were able to accommodate and get all of our orders correctly. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. The former certainly is not as expensive to make because it has fewer ingredients in each batch. The worker (owner?) seemed distracted with his phone. Most places like this greet you warmly upon entering and willingly explain or assist with the selections. Woofpak Bakery is such a gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed--the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly loves animals. The shop is bright, clean, and filled with so many fun and creative treats that are not only adorable but also healthy for pups. Our dog absolutely loved the goodies (especially the pupcakes!), and it was such a joy to see how excited he got. They also offer fantastic grooming services--the groomers are gentle, patient, and make sure each pet feels comfortable. The whole atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making it a place both dogs and humans enjoy visiting. We'll definitely be coming back often for treats, grooming, and just the wonderful experience.
