Idk maybe I caught the server on a bad day- but it was only Wednesday and I was the only other customer in the entire restaurant around 3 but the server was super standoff ish:/ maybe it was a cultural thing since I noticed the other customers that were male he was over the top friendly , but towards me - a female- hardly any eye contact and I've never actually felt so uncomfortable being a restaurant . I honesty don't know how to feel about this so I guess I'll go on the food which was okay, but I've had way better Mediterranean food - asked for a salad since most places with this type of food have their own Mediterranean dressing , mostly lemon, oils and spices which I was I love this type of food, I dislike American dressings - which is the only type they offered . -the chicken was good, I'm my opinion nothing to travel there for. read more

Wow, I don't know what to say. This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine and once I hit the parking lot I thought it was going to be a bad experience but something told me to go inside. As soon as I walked in the place, I was welcomed by my friend Ali that I met during my experience. Right when I walked in, he had us seated and started to offer us appetizers and drinks which we excepted. After that he started recommending us some foods of the restaurant that he sells the most. We had the kabob combo, 2 of those one with tabouli and one with fatoush. After we ate, we were served two free pieces of baklava (Mediterranean sweets) by Ali for being first timers. Ok, I will say one thing. For the location its a perk to have options of eating something other than burritos and enchilada. (Not knocking those btw). I came here to grab some takeout. The place is clean, flat screen TVs, and looks good. We ordered a kebab plate and an iced tea. We paid $17 something. Now, I don't mind paying for amazing food if its worth it. This wasn't worth it. I was really disappointed. It wasnt even a full two kebabs. It was four pieces of beef, four pieces of chicken, one piece of a bell pepper, rice, fattoush, and hummus. The beef had absolutely no seasoning and tasted tough. The chicken was ok. The rice straight up tasted like Christmas. All I tasted was starchy cinnamon with nuts on top. The hummus was mediocre and the fattoush out of everything was my favorite. The garlic dip was a little too sour creamy. Would I come back? Honestly no. It's one pound of free-range halal beef with all the fixings . . . you can even double it, triple it (if you so desire) delux-ify it (add fries/coleslaw) and if you finish it you can get your picture up on the wall. They've switched it up recently to a different meat supplier so they make their burgers fresh. The meat has more flavor . . . there is a slight hint of gaminess (not in a bad way) and the end result is an all around smooth, yummy, and juicy burger The service has improved dramatically and they really listen to your suggestions. Recommendations: -The Wings Your choice of hot/bbq sauce . . . not true buffalo wings. . . the sauce is straight up hot sauce but they're hecka tasty. - The Bacon Cheesburger Deluxe. - classic deliciousness - Vanilla Milkshake - drink up yo' ice cream. - Onion Rings I'm not a fan of fries, so I get their onion rings. You can order a burger on it's own or make it a deluxe. The deluxe includes fries and coleslaw . . . if you don't like coleslaw you can switch it up to extra fries at no charge. you can also pay $1 and substitute onion rings/waffle fries and still do the no coleslaw but extra onion rings/waffle fries combo. If you do like your coleslaw you can order the coleslaw burger. They also have chili cheese fries and whole bunch of stuff on their menu. Drinks are separate. They have your standard fountain sodas BUT they have the medio litre no high fructose corn syrup Mexican coke bottle for $2.50. WIN! First off, can't believe we have been neighbors for years and never tried this place out! The minute we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed. They told us about their menu and gave us multiple yummy sounding options. We decided to go with the chicken wrap which came wrapped in a tomato basil tortilla, inside had grilled chopped chicken, lettuce, tomato + yummy whatever else, lol. They introduced us to the white fluffy not too sweet melt in your mouth dessert you see in the picture which I didn't catch a name for. Point is I'll be retuning for the kabob plate cuz yes they have Mediterranean options and you all can't keep driving past this family restaurant as I have for years! Well this is the last time I'm ever coming to this restaurant again. The quality is way subpar from what it used to be and the bathrooms are disgusting, I wouldn't even take my dog in there. They ran out of chocolate milkshake, and offered strawberry, I took it...but after drinking it I'm pretty sure it was pebto bismol. The chilli cheese fries were soggy and it looked like everything was from cans. The BBQ chicken wings? Imagine chicken wings with dollar tree bbq sauce spooned on top. So they have a little market here as well. I am super excited to find my first "arabic" market in the Huntington Park area. The staff here is as friendly as it gets! Things i bought from restaurant: falafel wrap (delicious! 5.99$, great value) Things I bought from the small market: Tahini, authentic version. Dates, perfect/fresh. They have a huge selection of Gourmet Burgers, Sandwiches, and other delights...and as a bonus, they just added a Full Mexican Food menu too...I've heard they have an Arabic Menu in the works as well...!!! My Favorite: "The Wall of Fame Burger" a HUGE 1LB Burger that IF you can finish while there, they'll take your Pic and post it up on the "WALL OF FAME".......I couldn't do it the first time...!!! Best Halal food around! Yes it sucks to get there (coming from the Valley or Pasadena), and yes they are usually really busy, BUT they have HALAL FOOD! So quit your complaining and just be stoked they have delicious halal American, Mexican, and Lebanese food! I go here all the time. So much so, that they actually know exactly what my usual order is. I love the beef shwarma wrap, the steak wrap and the Mushroom and Swiss burger. You can't go wrong with any of those. I also love their appetizers and their smoothies! You should get the Wings! SO GOOD! I have sat outside on the patio. It's very nice and I wasn't cold at all. They also have the Wall of Fame. Check it out! Maybe if you can conquer the burger, you can get up there too! It's not your commercial Lebanese dishes. It's a family owned location and I love that the family has a big handle on the dishes that are made. Everything I have ever had here is delicious! I come here mainly for the Lebanese food and hookah. The burgers and sandwiches are great as well. The desserts are sweet and delicious. The one thing that would make this place that much better would have to be the service. It could be a little slow at times. So if you're in a rush I would just take it to go. I've been looking for a burger place around my area, so when I found this place on Yelp, I was pretty happy to try it out. I ordered the burger meal and it was pretty cheap. The meal took awhile to make, but that's understandable considering that the ingredients are fresh. Hussein, the cashier was really friendly and chill to talk with. Last night, I was craving a burger. I wanted to grab a burger at World Famous Grill, so I looked online to see if they were still open. To avail, they were! I arrived at WFG around 11:45pm and noticed there were 2 couples enjoying their meal and a family waiting for their food. When I went to order, the cashier told me that the kitchen just closed. I was pretty disappointed. I didn't bother to argue with the cashier; however, if your business is still OPEN and your doors are physically open, that's really deceiving to the customers. I'm happy to come here again, I just have to keep in mind that this business chooses when to closes and open its door without prior notice. read more

PROS: Bacon burgers to die for!!!!! The food here is just like what grilled food should be: meaty, juicy, full of calories and bursting with flavor. Foods I think they make well are burgers, onion rings, the fruit cocktail thingy, and hot dogs. The chilly cheese fries had little to no flavor, probably because the chilli didn't taste so wow. The shwarma sandwhich was mostly bread with very little shwarma filling. They cut corners where they can so watch out and make them fix it. Foods they really need to add to the menu: corndogs, jalapeño poppers, and pizzas. They even have a drive-thru, though I'm not sure how that works considering it takes them at least 15 min to make one customer's order, imagine 3 people in line....you can also place an order over the phone and pick it up via drive thru. CONS: Get this, what does their "meal" consist of? Main dish, side dish (fries, onion rings) and..... Drumroll please.....coleslaw. Yes you order the drink SEPARATELY so this place can make a few dollars more off of you, and at 7 bucks a meal, they have zero excuses not to provide a drink and scrap the ridiculous coleslaw side. Just another way they cut corners for more profit at the customer's expense. World Famous Grill, get your act together, cuz the minute a legit joint opens up in OC, your history.
