My wife and I ordered drinks from here, both 30% sweet. Even at 30% sweet, both drinks were too sweet in our opinion. Aside from the sweetness level, there was also way too much boba/topping. About 1/3 to 1/2 of the cup was filled with topping. I would venture to guess that with this much topping, the drink would be 300-400 calories which is a bit high. Their black tea latte was a bold blend with a little jolt to it and was definitely a nice first sip to start this party in our pie holes. I'm ending the year at Wushiland Boba as one of my top five drinks of the year. I came here for a drink and just like the San Gabriel location, I come for one drink and one drink only. My drink of choice here is their ice cream milk tea. How can you not like this combination, you get your milk tea kick and ice cream all in one. Caffeine and double sugar are the way to go! I usually get this drink with boba but I have been cravings for red bean more so decided to add that instead. This location ask if I wanted my red bean blended with my drink. Heck yeah, I do. I must say this drink was delicious. You get pieces of red bean in every sip and the creaminess of the ice cream with a hint of vanilla. Just makes an excellent drink. The line is usually long. The workers try to move it along as fast as possible. Overall, a great place for a boba drink. They offer small and regular boba. You can also custom your ice and sugar level too. read more

Great quality milk and tea ratio, plus the portion is beyond worth it. It's definitely larger than most boba spots and with no ice the drink was still filled to the brim. Heard about 五十嵐 in Santa Anita wall- was in the area- have to give it a try It was pretty decent. Their "boba" is the regular size boba and "pearl" is mini boba. Got my drink 75% sweet w less ice. Drink: 90% of the time I order "roasted Oolong milk tea with 50% sugar and it's the best drinks so far at this tea place. Service: very quick. I was lining up and ordered through yelp thinking it's faster and the pick up time was only in 5-10 min, but the yelp never actually said the vendor got the order so I went back to lining up and the time on yelp changed to an additional 15 min. The menu choices are on the smaller end compared to other boba places but I def recommend the jasmine GMT and Roasted Oolong MT. We ordered Jasmine Milk Tea at 30% with Boba and Earl Gray Milk Tea 0% with Coconut Jelly. Both drinks tasted good, however the Earl Gray was sweeter then the Jasmine Milk Tea. Maybe it was the Coconut Jelly that amplified the sweetness, not really sure. I would be afraid to see what a sweeter drink would be like. I go here every single time I go to the mall and each and every time, I greet the workers and they always greet me back with a smile. Their taste in music is always refreshing and not like the boring mall music I am used to so that's a plus! Now on to the real thing, the drinks. I always ask the people what they really like to drink and their suggestions never disappoint. I usually like less sugar in my drinks in general so I usually get 70% sugar for most of my drinks, but I sometimes get 30% for the more refreshing and tea-focused drinks. I have yet to be disappointed with my customization options and Wushiland always has that customizability I really appreciate for boba drinks in general. 10/10 would go here even if their lines are long. Wushiland is usually my go-to boba joint when I'm in the SGV area. Sometimes something simple is what's best. Their roasted oolong milk tea is what I always get. I have tried other menu items before and other teas at Wushiland and frankly they're not good. The regular oolong tea and the jasmine just don't taste that good and lack a strong tea taste. But man that roasted oolong MT, that will top any drink in the surrounding area. word of caution: their cups seem to be made of some really poor quality plastic and will bend and spill if you poke your straw too hard. I enjoyed the subtle flavor of the tea and all the boba sunk at the bottom. The serving of boba here is more than the average scoop. You can always ask for less boba; I am sure they'll be happy to serve you so that you enjoy your drink. Service/Ambiance: The cashier was helpful in determining what drink I should order and answered my question of the type of milk they use. The menu is visible and easy to read. Everyone working inside greeted us. The line does get long, so if you're in a rush, you might want to try again another time. Overall, my boba milk tea hit the spot and met my criteria for a boba drink. I will be back to try different drinks, such as the other milk teas. Passed by Wushiland a few times during trips to the mall and finally took the plunge so waiting in the line for about 10 minutes or so and ordered the Oolong Tea Latte with Oat Milk and boba. The service was overall quick and easy and the cashier was super nice and efficient. The drink itself was OK. With the "latte", the amount of milk dilutes the tea so much that it felt very milk forward and lost the essence of the oolong flavor. I also feel that even without the dousing of milk, it wouldn't be very strong regardless. As for the boba, texture was fine but the the flavor was blank. I had heard that they don't add / add little brown sugar to sweeten their boba, and it was apparent. It also had a flavor to it that didn't taste like sugar or flour. My sister and I dropped by here after receiving an $8 gift certificate for Wushiland from the Lunar New Year 888 event. This is our first time trying Wushiland and it wasn't bad but for a $7 drink, I don't think it's worth it. I ordered the Orange Grapefruit green tea with no toppings and it was good but not worth $7. My sister got the Boba Black Tea Machiatto and she couldn't finish it. I tried it and the milk tea was overly sweet and the boba was hard to chew on. Felt like old tapioca balls have been sitting out for a while. Being a self claimed boba connoisseur, I would not recommend paying over $7 for a drink that would cost half the price elsewhere. They give lots of orange and grapefruit pulp, which makes it fun to drink. The drink can get pretty pricey ($7+ !) but it definitely hits the spot on a hot day.
