Xfinity Mobile IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE AND ABSOLUTE SCAM !!!!!!!!! Around Nov of last year I called Xfinity about my internet home service. The lady answered my question about my home internet and then told me since I was a platinum customer then I was eligible for a FREE PHONE. I didn't want the phone and returned it at the instruction of a manager. First I was instructed to go to this store In E.G. ON LAGUNA. THEY REFUSED TO TAKE THE PHONE BACK. Then with MUCH persistence and 5 agents later ANOTHER MANAGER said to go into Fed ex and have them create a label(mind you this was AFTER 7 or 8 previous reps said they would create the return label and I would get it by email. I followed the instruction of the manager and returned the phone to the warehouse. I included the acct info and I have NO IDEA WHERE THAT PHONE WENT. They billed me for it and had to reimburse me at least 4 or 5 times. Eye roll. They said the phone would only work if I ported the number over. They were never able to or the number over and I called immediately asking to return the phone and I was told I'd receive an email with a rerun label in 1 to 2 days. This went on for weeks and weeks as I'm calling again and again. I have lost sleep and this has interrupted my sleep as they have called a early as 6 a.m. about a phone I no longer have. I'm going to change providers and seek LITIGATION. This is highly illegal!!!! read more

It was a busy weekend for the crew on, but I can tell they were trying to make things efficient. Josh, who helped me, was very efficient. He acknowledged that I was waiting in line holding a return item and offered to take it and help me when a computer is ready. It was nice because I didn't have to hold a box while waiting. Moved to a new house. No internet over 2 weeks. Xfinity had to blow the underground pipes for the internet to work. Multiple visits from their technicians but nothing has been solved. Technicians say xfinity ground team has to fix it and when the ground team comes they say it's already fixed. If I could give zero stars , I would. Extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience. Now too, we don't know when the internet is gonna be fixed. We also went to the store but they said we can't do anything it's the ground team that has to do it. read more

TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM; PROVIDE A CELL PHONE WITH THAT NUMBER ATTACHED SO I CAN RECEIVE MY IMPORTANT CALLS UNTIL THE PHONE LINE IS UP AND RUNNING. OFFER TO PAY FOR MY INITIATING FEE FOR MY OLD PROVIDER SO I CAN GET MY INTERNET UP. IF THAT CAN'T BE DONE, THEN ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB AND PROVIDE AN ACCURATE TIMELINE ON WHEN THIS WILL BE COMPLETE AND STICK TO YOUR APPOINTMENTS!!! THIS IS THE 2ND APPOINTMENT THEY HAVE MISSED! Due to the lack of communication and problem solving on Xfinity's end, I have not even been able to experience the "fast" internet service that they apparently have. I am in the process of moving to Xfinity the past few weeks. But, due to the unprofessional service, they have yet to fix the issue of installing and because of them my prior internet service has been cancelled. I AM OUT OF PHONE AND INTERNET SERVICES BECAUSE OF XFINITY, AND WE NEED BOTH BECAUSE WE ARE WORKING FROM HOME (AS MOST OF THE NATION) AND NEED THE PHONE FOR MEDICAL REASONS. When I signed the papers to move to Xfinity, they told me I should be up and running in 24 hours. They discovered that they need to bury a line at my home, AFTER missing an appointment and 2 dropped calls (this took a week to determine). After the week went by, my home phone stopped working. I called my provider at the time and they said Xfinity informed them that they are starting my services on September 8. This means that my phone number is owned by Xfinity now, and my contract with the my provider at the time was ended because I was supposed to have my internet up by this date. XFINITY NEVER INFORMED THE DELAY OF INSTALLMENT TO MY PROVIDER. When I went to this store to buy the service I was told that my services with the provider I had would only cancel if I called them. That was not true. When Xfinity had me sign the papers to move over, they had informed my current provider on the date of when to end my services with them. My provider at the time said since I'm technically not their customer anymore, and that legally Xfinity owns my phone number now, they can't do anything about it. I went to this location to talk to Michael, and he said he would expedite. Soon after I left the store, he called to inform me that before they can bury any lines, the city and utility company need to come and draw lines. This means no internet or phone services. It's been a week later, and the city and utility company have already come (it's been a few days already), but no one from Xfinity has come out. I called today to see when they will be coming, and they said my appointment is today. I've waited until 7 pm, and no one has come. I called to see when the person is arriving, and they told me they can't help me because the appointment time was from 8 am to 8 pm and there is still an hour left in the time window. They said if no one shows up, then I will receive a call. In the past 2 and a half weeks, I have called 5 times. 4 of those times they hung up after saying they will see what they can do and they never called back. I'm supposed to receive a call if no one comes for the appointment today. It is now 8:13 am, and no one came for the appointment. They informed me that a manager will call me after 8 pm if no one shows up. Like the other 4 times where the "call dropped" on their end, no one has called them. This is the worst service I've received. They haven't even installed yet, are not keeping their appointments, and aren't communicating in a timely manner. They are affecting with someone's livelihood and connection to medical needs. read more

Xfinity is such a scoundrel company. In this area (Elk Grove) I have no choice but to use Xfinity and this company is taking advantage with ghetto plans limiting data to 1.2Tb/mo. Such cheap business tactics. In San Francisco, Sonic offers 1Gb internet at $60/mo (half the price of Xfinity) and no limits on data. I can't wait for another solution to become available to switch. I would gladly pay more so I would have to use the services of this trash company. read more

I wanted to sign up for X1 tv service. I got 3 refurbished boxes that did not work. Didn't offer anything to try to keep me as a customer. All I heard about was please rate us well for our pay scale.
