The acai bowls at this place are fire! The sorbet that they use for the base has a much better consistency than the watery bowls you get across the street. The staff is also super legit, especially the kid named George. He is always super friendly and greets me with a shaka, "Welcome to Yago!" As a friend of the neighborhood, it's nice to see another member of the Los Altos community sending out good vibes to the public.. solid citizen for sure! I loveeee this place! As an Açaí enthusiast, I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys eating Açaí. I would usually drive about 25-30 minutes to get Açaí at my usual place, but ever since I found yago, not only will it be a closer drive, but it'll be delicious. The 2 workers, Paula & Scott, were great. Not only were they friendly, but they helped us out with the menu & welcomed us as we walked in. Cozy little smoothie bowl/juicery place off of Bellflower and Stearns, nestled in between a salon and an Italian pizza place. I generally get the Pyramid, which has Peanut Butter, banana, strawberry, mango, pineapple, and granola (extra peanut butter, please!) They're really cool about accommodating special orders, substituting fruits is never an issue. Likewise, they also do really great pour over coffee, which is pretty rare for a juicery. They're always playing cool atmospheric as well, you really get the feeling that it's an independently owned place, which it is. Highly recommend!! :) read more

I came between classes because I was slightly hungry and needed something fresh. Im glad i found this gem! I bought the Roundabout Acai bowl. It is really thick- it doesn't melt easily like other places. The fruit tastes so fresh! Not to mention, the service was pretty quick compare to other places! I love it! Will be returning! read more

My favorite acai bowl place BY FAR. I can have Yago for breakfast, after a work out, on a hot day...everyday almost. The toppings are endless and the portion is ginormous for what they charge. My favorite order is the "Yago make me," which is basically a make your own custom bowl. I get the pitaya bowl with coconut water, longshoreman blend, granola, strawberries, bananas, cacao nibs, almonds, honey (tip: buy four toppings, get one free). All of this for $9 (tip: sign up for the rewards program and earn free smoothies). A lot of other places use sorbet in their acai base, but Yago doesn't and it makes it taste refreshing and light. read more

I have been stoked on Yago for a few weeks now. My coworker introduced them to me. I went there today and to my dismay... The bowl was shrunken yet the price remained the same. The reason that I was so impressed by them was not only the value, but also the add-ons. Now that the value has changed, unfortunately the add ons are less exciting and this place seems just like any other juice bar. Over priced. When you spend $10 on a bowl of fruit... Blended or not...
