I visited the Yardhouse on a Saturday evening after doing some shopping at the Cooley Mall. The restaurant has a lot of TV's great for sports and entertainment and it's also a large open space which I enjoyed. It can get pretty loud in there so if you're looking for a quite restaurant I wouldn't recommend it. Despite how busy it was, the 10minute wait for a table was reasonable. The front desk did seem a bit overwhelmed, maybe due to new staff or high pressure. For food, we ordered wings, fries, and a kale/ceased salad with salmon. Our food came out quickly and our server Alex was friendly and efficient. If you're in the area and looking for straightforward food I recommend this location. read more

We were really impressed! Our server was great! She made some awesome recommendations and was really friendly and attentive. We started with the boneless chicken wings, 1/2 the order was in whiskey black pepper sauce and the other 1/2 Korean chili. We requested ranch, however we were were served garlic aioli. Which ended up being a solid pairing with the sauces on the wings - especially the whiskey black pepper. Our server highly recommended the garlic sesame noodles as an appetizer, but I chose to have them for dinner and added grilled chicken for some protein. OMG, that chicken! Does God himself work in the kitchen? It was straight from heave . The most delicious and moist chicken I've ever had. If someone could teach me how to make that chicken, I would be forever grateful. And the noodles were really good too. Jeff had the vampire taco and (2) carne asada tacos with beans and rice. The tacos were really good! The restaurant did not charge for the food but... all in all, there are probably alternative places in the area if you are looking for a great breakfast. I really wanted to give this a 3.5 star rating. The food is good. Some dishes are very good. The beers are average. I think what makes the beers not better than they can be is the dirty tap lines. You can smell the stale beer when sitting at the bar. So now I order liquor drinks - so I don't need to worry if I'm going to get stale beer, warm beer, or good beer. The servers are nice, not overly active with respect to making sure your drinks are refilled. But decent for a hotel bar. The place is convenient and there is a variety of food options. Had an absolutely horrible experience here while staying at Marriott for a Breast Cancer fundraiser. It was late, so instead of going too far from our hotel, we decided to eat here. And regretted it. We started off with drinks and I did not enjoy mine, the Black Orchid. It was all syrup and not enjoyable. My aunt ordered Prosecco and then a second, but the second was forgotten by the end of the night. The food was not good. The plain fries were not worth it and boring. The truffle fries were tasty but came in a very small portion as an appetizer, so we ordered a second. Then, we could not get any service from our waitress. It was late on a Wednesday night and the restaurant wasn't even half full. After looking around for her we saw her leaving the restaurant. No one else came to finish our service. We're lucky they had the table checkout devices so we could leave before waiting any longer. Utterly disappointed in the Yard House. read more

Such a pleasant lunch experience! Easy to get a table at 11:40am on a Saturday and service was incredibly quick. I appreciated that I could customize now only what kind of taco I got (fish vs shrimp) but also what it came on (flour vs corn vs lettuce) and how many (2 or 3). Didn't realize this Yard House had a subpar rating until after checking in, but for context, I was a conference attendee at the Boston Mariott Copley, and wanted to take advantage of the Happy Hour prices here, and this place is just steps away from the second floor elevators... In any case, my partner met me here after the last workshop on a Friday at 5pm, so we had just about an hour for HH (ending at 6). We promptly ordered the following HH specials: -Mushroom and Pepperoni pizza: About 12'' in diameter and a crispy crust; although the middle was a little softer than I like, it came out piping hot and had a great taste -Poke nachos: at first a bit skeptical, we got a decent sized plate of crispy tortilla chips with some poke, nori, avocado, jalapeno, cilantro, sriracha aioli, and truffle oil, and it was a great flavor combination. Careful though, the jalapenos will getcha -Chicken tenders: probably the most surprising to me, these chicken tenders were so crispy on the outside but soft in the middle, which I loved. They weren't dry at all, and it came with fries, ranch, and honey mustard (protip: order this alongside the pizza and dip the slices into the ranch) We also got a flight of four beers (Southern Pass, Noble Pursuit, Liquid Compass, Yard House Cuvee), all of which were great - Southern Pass being my partner's favorite, and the Cuvee mine. The best part was definitely the bang for your buck for HH. We're talking a total of just over $30 not including tip for two, for dinner, in essentially a hotel restaurant. Highly recommended for that deal, and if you can get a table to watch a sports game with all of the screens there, even better! read more

You add your name to the list and they text when the table is ready. The drinks were weak, and pretty small. The food was salty and flavorless. The nachos were pretty big, and just okay. Do not get the calamari, you'll be disappointed. Jambalaya wasn't good. Inside the games were on and people were having a good time. If you just want a beer and to watch the game I would go. If you are staying at the Copley Marriott and are looking for good food without leaving the property, you have to give Yard House a try. Yardhouse serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night. They're known for having the most beers on tap. The bar area was incredibly lively, so we decided to grab a booth. The craft beer and cocktail menu is expansive. It'll take you a good ten minutes to look at all the options. They also offer beer flights if you want to try a little of everything. They offer their beers in three sizes: Pint/Goblet, Pub Glass, or the "Half Yard". They have an expansive menu of appetizers to start with. Bavarian Giant Pretzels, Nachos, Ahi Tuna, Calamari, Onion Ring Towers, Avocado Toast, Sliders, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, queso dip, spinach dip, truffle fries, cheese curds, chicken tenders, edamame, guac+chips, and so much more! If you have a big appetite, I'd highly suggest one of their 1/2 LB burgers. They have some creative "specialty" burgers to choose from. All burgers and handhelds come with fries. If you aren't a burger person, no worries! They have a hot chicken sandwich, chicken and avocado sandwich, cheesesteak, beer-battered cod, turkey club, and a double-decker BLT. You'll also find a small, but solid selection of Tacos, Salads, Soups, and Pizza. They also have a small selection of bone-in and boneless wings. They offer a small choice of sauces and dry-rubs. The wings are meaty and you get twelve wings to an order. They do have a solid selection of Main specialties. They have steaks, chicken prepared a few different ways, seafood, Ahi Tuna, Fish+Chips, Jambalaya, Whiskey Glazed Salmon, and Lobster Garlic Noodles. We started off with the Bone-In Wings with a Korean Chili Garlic Sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and very juicy. They were crispy and it is a huge portion given the size of the wings. They do have a kick of heat to them, so be aware of that. Next, we ordered the Guacamole and Chips. The chips were freshly made, as was the guacamole. The portion size of the Guacamole could be improved. We ordered the Kale and Romaine Caesar with Salmon. The portion was huge and the salad was fresh and crisp. They were very generous with the Salmon. Lastly, we ordered the sliders with cheese. I ordered them medium-rare. The first time they came out without cheese and they were well-done. Our server had it remade and again, they were well-done. I had it taken off the bill. I would avoid their sliders. For those with a sweet tooth, they do offer a Brookie, Chocolate Fudge Cake, Bread Pudding, Cheesecake Creme Brûlée, and Carrot Cake. They do offer a menu for in-room dining. Be aware there is a $7 delivery fee, plus gratuity. I'd suggest placing a take-out order and taking the elevator down to pick it up. read more

This was a great place to find after searching for a lunch spot near the Prudential building. Seating was challenging and I was able to find an empty seat up at the bar. Service was very good, from the beverage selection to the ordering of the Korean Cheesesteak Sandwich with onion rings. The guy next to me made lunch more enjoyable by asking me questions about my whereabouts, etc....nothing weird or creepy. This is the typical Yard House, which lately I've found to not be all that great. The service here is very impersonal, rushed, and insincere. The menu is the typical that all their locations have and the cocktail list is actually pretty nice. The drinks we tried over the two days we stopped in were nicely made, but the service was off-putting. The location of this restaurant is inside of a large Marriott, which was very nice. This my second time here in the last few months, both times for happy hour. I'm not a beer person but had really good luck with their twist on the cosmo while the one this evening was fine (a paloma). First time we got fried calamari and a margarita pizza. Excellent fry on the squid, tasty pizza. Tonite it was the poke nachos and fried cheese curds. Enjoyed both a lot and obviously a great deal at happy hour. I've loved Yard House for many years for their truffle fries and last night the craving hit! After seeing a concert at Fenway we wanted to catch a drink and some late night food and we somehow beat the crowd! I ordered some Korean chili wings and an app of the truffle fries. My wings came out fairly quickly but we waited and waited for the truffle fries and they didn't come. When the waiter finally came we asked him about the fries and he brought them out a few minutes later piping hot. They were just as delicious as I had remembered! Yard House is a solid 4 star option based on their food and drinks but be prepared to wait or have some hiccups with service, hence the 3 star rating. read more
