I love coming to this yard house for their happy hour Mon-Fri 3-6pm. The servers are always the sweetest! I alwaysss get the poke nachos, brussel sprouts, and chicken tenders! Great happy hour :3 !!
This was our first time at the Pasadena location. Looks like they are reviving The Paseo. We just before 5 and the place i was hopping. We had zero wait for our party of 5. This was our first time trying the happy hour menu and OH BOY! our faves was the Poke nachos, sliders, Pep pizza, wings and Brussels sprouts. The price is right but it was the service that took it over the top. Ashley and Jonah were the absolute BEST. They validate for the first 90 minutes. We're returning real soon.
Delicious! 20oz Bone-in Ribeye (Well Done ) with side of sweet potato fries ,and broccoli 10/10 Everything was so fresh and done well . Outstanding 8oz Filet Mignon cooked (well done) side order of smashed potatoes, and asparagus. Delicious meal 10/10 Strawberry lemonade for the drink 5/5 Coke as well Great customer service, very positive and helpful staff , love the energy. More people like that is always needed in places like this . 5/5 Clean environment, nice and bright and well designed inside great setting . Definitely recommended Friends and family to have a dinner out Will be back soon
Just had a nice lunch here with a friend from out of town. I had the poke salad, and while it was tasty, it's not filling (especially for a $24 price point), so just be aware of that if you're starving like I was lol. It was on the salad menu, but saying the toppings were on a bed of lettuce would be giving the dish too much credit. It was more like a handful of lettuce underneath and that was it. My GF got the ahi salad off the salad menu and hers looked like an actual salad with plentiful lettuce. Only reason for the 4/5 is all of this! I tried one of the 7% "sour" beers on tap, not sure what to expect. I thought maybe sour meant kombucha-like aftertaste. It was KIND OF like that, but in a good way, not in a vinegar tasting way. It was actually really good, so def recommend trying a sour beer if you haven't before. It had the perf amount of sweetness. I find many cider beers to be too sweet for me, so was worried about that as well, but it was perf on sweetness level.
Yard House Happy Hour is a go-to, but the real hack? Reserve ahead. I booked a table online while my girlfriend and I were en route, and it paid off, we walked past a growing wait, checked in, and were seated within 5 minutes. Peak efficiency. We went all in on Happy Hour: Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, Classic Sliders with fries, and the Spinach Artichoke Dip. The lineup is clearly built for sharing, and for the price point, it delivers. The cheese curds were a standout, crispy on the outside, gooey inside, while the sliders did exactly what you want them to do. The spinach dip was solid and one of our favorites on the Happy Hour menu. From the regular menu, we added the Spicy Jambalaya and 10 Crispy Traditional Wings (Buffalo + Lemon Pepper dry rub). The wings were the better play here, crispy, flavorful, and well-sauced. The jambalaya had good heat, especially alongside everything else. Service can make or break a busy Happy Hour, and Kat absolutely held it down. She struck that perfect balance, attentive without hovering, quick with check-ins, and helpful when we had questions. It felt dialed in, which isn't always a given during peak hours. The vibe is classic Yard House: high-energy but still versatile. You've got sports fans locked into the TVs, date nights in the mix, and groups celebrating, it somehow all works without feeling chaotic. Is it groundbreaking? No. But that's not really the point. Yard House knows its lane and executes it well. If you time it right and come for Happy Hour, you're getting solid value, dependable food, and a lively atmosphere. Would I come back? For Happy Hour, easily!
This review is for the service. The food was great, as per usual, and I consider Yard House to have one of the best happy hours, especially for food. My friend and I sat at the bar and we had awful service. Our server hardly ever came to check on us and we had to flag her down several times when she walked by when we wanted to order more or get a refill. She wasn't very friendly and almost seemed unhappy to help us. She never returned to close us out to where another person did since we were waiting awhile. He was really nice. Despite it being busy, we saw the others check on their customers regularly. Otherwise, the ambiance was fun for the World Cup Game!
What happened yard house? this place used to be one of my fav places, my friend and I went to lunch two days ago, we self seat at the bar and talk while we wait for a bartender, after about 10 mins of no one coming around nor checking on the other customers a manager comes behind the bar, pours drinks for a nearby table, he says nothing and carries on, my friend and I are still sitting waiting patiently we see the manager look back at us and he walks away, 5 more mins go by and finally someone comes, she wasn't friendly nor welcoming, she just said I'll be right with you and she quickly sped off I tried to ask for two waters and pretty much talked to the back of her head, so my friend and I continue conversation and the bartender comes and pretty much slams the cups down hard enough to startled my friend and I and she walks away once again without saying a word, finally another 5 mins she comes back to take our orders finally, she brings our mixed drinks which tasted awful you can tell they were quickly thrown together but we've already waited 20 mins for the bad drinks so we just patiently waited for our food hoping it would make up for the lack of service and drink taste, finally the food comes out and in my plate of frys is a hair nestled in the frys!! The bartender never comes back I had to flag down a different bartender and he says you want just want the frys remade or everything? Of course everything needs to be remade if a hair is embedded in the frys like that who knows what's in the burger?? So he takes everything back And the same manager from earlier slowly and hesitantly comes back and asks if we're okay and that's it Doesn't offer any comp of the food or anything, overall the entire place was dirty, dirty cups all along the bar tap, the women's bathroom was trashed no toilet paper in any of the stalls, that's why I say what happened yard house? I get it gets busy I was a bartender for several years so that's why customer service is important and communication to your patrons, the bartender and manager both lacked that, terrible experience.
First time visiting the Yard House location in Pasadena with my boyfriend and it's officially our favorite. We'll absolutely be back soon! It was busy (as expected), and we waited about 20-25 minutes after checking in, which honestly wasn't bad at all. The vibes were welcoming from start to finish. Huge shoutout to our waiter TJ -- attentive, friendly, and just a great overall vibe. Service was incredible. Even after we paid, he made sure we knew we could still reach out if we needed anything. That kind of hospitality really stands out. We ordered a few items to share: truffle cheese pizza, fried calamari, Parmesan truffle fries with a side of blueberry ketchup (because I'm legit obsessed), and a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious, filling, paired nicely and the portions were solid. I was pleasantly surprised our bill wasn't higher considering how much we enjoyed everything. The Parmesan truffle fries + blueberry ketchup combo was the star of the show for me personally. Although I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the truffle cheese pizza even regardless that I'm not the biggest fan of mushrooms. It had a tasty garlicky sauce and the bread was so soft and warm. Fried calamari was decent, but some pieces were a bit chewy and salad also needed more dressing, other than that no real complaints! I also asked for some blueberry ketchup to go and TJ hooked it up with a generous container -- really appreciated that! My boyfriend ordered the House IPA and was even given a complimentary sample of the Belgian IPA, which was such a nice touch. Can't wait to come back during their happy hour deals! p.s. they do validate parking.
Had a good experience dining at the bar. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a crowd at the front waiting to be seated & the hostess didn't seem enthused, didn't make eye contact, was painfully slow & even tried to seat the party behind me despite me being next & standing directly in front of her. Weird. Even the other party told her I was next. So I informed her that I just wanted to sit at the bar & she said it was open seating. Thank goodness because standing there waiting & not feeling the slightest bit welcomed was unacceptable. At the bar, I was promptly greeted by Adam & ordered the sliders & fries. To my surprise, they were half off for the Happy Hour special. My order was delivered in under 10 minutes & was tasty. I'd return to this location but most likely not during the 4 o'clock hour on a Wednesday.
The Service: Sara was our server. She is awesome!! Super attentive and super patience waiting for us to order. Great customer service! The Food: They were prepared quickly. Fresh ingredients & plating nicely. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken & avocado burger. The Parking: Plaza parking structure. They validate parking, 90 minutes free. After that $1.5 every 30 minutes.
I was so pleasantly surprised this evening. The place was lively, I was greeted & seated right away. The side salad was larger than I'd usually expect, and the Whiskey Salmon entree was EXCELLENT. The salmon, mashed potatoes, and veggies were all flavorful and cooked to perfection. My server was very sweet; I could hear her lending an ear to another guest while he described how his day was going.
Stopped by Yard House for lunch this afternoon and had a solid experience overall. We were greeted by the host and seated immediately, and our waitress was awesome very helpful with recommendations while we were picking out appetizers. The only thing that threw me off was when I was getting ready to pay the bill. I used the table kiosk to check my summary, and I noticed a $2.99 charge for video games. The device hadn't even been used until it was time to pay, so it was strange to see that automatically added to the total. Overall, a pretty good visit, but if you're paying on that device, make sure you check your bill to ensure everything is correct before you finish!
I had some time to spare and wanted to grab a quick bite before my next event. I dined by myself and got placed at a table. I wasn't sure who my server was and I haven't dined here in over 20 years. I wasn't sure how their service request was. They have an outdoor patio that had a lot of people dining outside. Inside, there were ample amount of diners. They had tv screens that showed the same channel. I used the restroom after I was shown my table. When I came back and took a look at the menu, no one came by to greet me. A few people walked by, all wearing black, I couldn't tell who was a runner or a server. On the table, there was a little device where you can look at the menu, pay, or play games on it. There was a little button that I assumed was the call service for the server to come and assist you. I pressed that and shortly after, the server came and greeted me. I ordered the tomato bisque soup with the grilled smoked gouda cheese sandwich along with a lemonade. The sandwich tasted amazing, and the soup was great. I was hoping it would be a little thicker of a soup base, but overall the flavor was great and paired well with the soup. The lemonade was a little too sweet for me, but refreshing on a hot day.

Located in downtown Pasadena right near the convention center. The Yard house has a huge selection of great beer. They also have a very nice happy hour menu with 1/2 price selections. Portions are generous. They have delicious Brussels Sprouts, calamari and pizzas. I was tempted by the ahi nachos which i saw on the way out and will totally get the next time i am here. If you are staying at any nearby hotel, this is a great happy hour choice. They validate parking too. Recommend. read more
We've come here for happy hour before, and you can't beat the prices on food! We also like the kale & Caesar salad with brussel sprouts. We came on a Tuesday night and waited about 10 min for a table around 5:30 pm. Our server let us know he would be with us but nobody came for a while. Eventually another waiter (Bryan) came, and we're so glad we had him! He was quick and checked in on us appropriately. We asked for the mushroom pizza without aioli, but there was a miscommunication. Bryan fixed it quickly and got us exactly what we wanted. Restaurant is nice and clean but on the louder side during happy hour! read more

This is a good Plan B restaurant recommendation from when we stayed at the Westin a few months ago. It is walking distance on Colorado Blvd. in the shopping center. I did not see an elevator access but only stairs that took us up to the restaurant. We got there at a later time and were able to get a table. You can order from the iPad on the table or from the waiter directly. We did it old school and ordered form the waiter. I am more salt sensitive these days and can taste it in the Ahi Crunch salad. The seasoning that was on the tuna was heavily coated and a bit too much for me. It's convenient and easy, late night dining option if you are visiting Pasadena. read more

I don't go to chain restaurants often because I'd always expect to be less than impressed...but Yard House Pasadena was a pleasant surprise. I'd give 5 stars for the service. Our waitress was highly efficient, just the right amount of friendly, and attentive without being pushy. She let us know when happy hour was ending so we could get another round of drinks in, she checked on allergy accommodations for our group, and she made sure we had condiments, extra napkins, and water refills before we even had to ask. I also watched the bartenders move like well-oiled machines getting brews and attractive-looking cocktails out. The employees here WORK. The food was great. Not life-changingly phenomenal, but very good. My boyfriend and I ordered the everything bagel-crusted ahi sandwich and the club sandwich. My ahi sandwich was interesting and tasty, with a truffle sauce and truffle fries on the side (upcharge for the truffle fries, which the server thoughtfully pointed out as I ordered). My boyfriend loved the club, though I thought it looked a bit boring with its Kroger "sandwich style" thin, square bread - but he gobbled it up and said it was super. Our companions ordered pasta, a burger, and the Nashville chicken sandwich, and everything was tantalisingly presented. We had pub glasses of beers, which was plenty (as opposed to committing to a half-yard glass). The beer selection seems endless. It's a high-ceilinged, black-painted warehouse-style place - but acoustics are good and there's no roar from the crowd, and with the cosy, tall-backed booths, there's no chance of somebody's kid poking over into your space. Because it's a chain, this wouldn't be my choice for a date or special celebration, but this Yard House location is an exemplary spot for a casual outing. read more

Got the spicy Jambalaya on my recent visit here! While the wait time took surprisingly long, the servers were very kind and routinely checked in with us for water refills or anything else we needed. Food was really delicious! I felt my dish was spicy enough, not overly so but enough that the spice itself enhanced the flavor of the dish. Loved the different meat and seafood variety in the dish, they were all flavorful and cooked well. My only complaint is that the noodle to protein ratio was waaaay off. Had a lot of leftover meat with no noodles at the end, so I hope this is something they balance out more in the future? Also, while this is a delicious dish I have to say it being ~$23+ is quite expensive. This dish is good, but not exactly for that price and portion size. Can't really comment on the parking situation as I parked at the convention center across the street for an expo I was attending, but there's a lot of parking options nearby regardless of how busy it gets. Might just have to get a little creative. My gripe about this place is the bathrooms weren't the greatest. Wasn't straight up dirty of anything, but a few stalls just had no seat covers or toilet paper, multiple sinks and soap dispensers were broken (a lady literal commented on it and pointed me to which sink I could use to wash my soap covered hands as the sink I was at wasn't working, but the soap dispenser was). That being said, I think this was still a solid experience with pretty tasty food. Came here with a group of friends, which is typically the only time I ever come here. Would definitely come again under the same circumstances! I say it's a great place to just meetup and eat with others. read more

This restaurant is always a good choice when you have a group of people and need that extra space whether it be inside or out in the patio area. If you're alone and a sports fan just grab a seat at the bar area and enjoy a game. They offer a great selection of beer on tap at average prices. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with a side of fries plus they brought out extra pickles. The beer and sandwich had me stuffed all day. read more

Went for happy hour (Mon-Fri 3-6pm) and orders 5 dishes to try out. 10/10 We left very full and satisfied for a very good price. Great service as well. My absolute favorite was the poke nachos Definitely a must. Least favorite would be the hummus it was a little too bland for my taste. read more
Went to Yard House and I think the food was pretty good. There was validated parking for 1.5 hrs which is pretty close to the restaurant. TLDR: The appetizer and dessert was really good, amazing in fact. Didn't really like the burger thought it was dry and the fact that it was an entrée made the score go down. They did bring out a free dessert for our anniversary though! Nice place to eat. FOOD: Poke Nachos (5/5): The poke nachos were really good. It had an amazing flavor profile. The blend of the perfectly crunchy chips with tuna, avocado, seaweed, eel sauce, jalapeños tasted so good when you eat it all together. Really hit the spot. If I were to come here again, I would get this every time. Onion Ring Tower (5/5): The onion rings were perfectly crispy and came with a side of ranch and some other dressing. The sauce was really good and onions were perfectly crispy and tasted kinda like Funions. SO GOOD Whiskey & Aged White Cheddar Burger (3/5): The burger itself was a bit dry, However the patty was thick and meaty and the mushrooms topped with it were savory and buttery. Fries were solid 4/5. Oreo Brookie (5/5): This is an amazing dessert. The warm brookie and the cold creamy vanilla ice cream on top was an amazing combo. The brownie was rich and thick, which contrast the creamy vanilla ice cream on top. Was very very good. AMBIANCE: (5/5) The place was a vibe. There was a lot of seats and it had a bar. It's a nice place to just chill, have a date, go out with your friends. Overall nice. SERVICE: (5/5) The waiters were very nice pretty quick and tried to have a small talk with us. The food came really quickly, and everyone was very willing to accommodate our needs. It was me and my boyfriend's anniversary and they gave us a free brookie. I was at the conference center across the street and wandered into this place. It's big, a little dark, but clean with a lot of menu options. I ordered the Cobb salad--it was a good size and tasted great. My soda was refilled regularly, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Pretty basic overall, but solid. Good price, good food, and I was in and out quickly and back to work. read more
Came to celebrate my son's birthday... Saturday night- but the wait wasn't too bad, about 15-20 minutes. Our waiter, Danny was great! He was really attentive and made our evening enjoyable. We ordered a bunch of appetizers - Bavarian pretzel , queso dip with ground beef, and my favorite, the avocado toast. All delicious. My son ordered the petite filet with mashed potatoes, asparagus and carrots, and his GF and I shared a cheese pizza. It was good, but for a CHEESE pizza it could've had more cheese. After trawling the Pasadena Convention center for comics, handmade jewelry and art, hunger gnawed at my weary family, nearby was the Yard House, trustworthy, and always with a playlist of Rock and Roll classics, we were sat in less than 10 min. The kids meals were only $9.99. In this economy? Much appreciated. First off, the calamari. Calamari can be problematic, but this was the best I've had in years. I kinda wish the tartar sauce wasn't spicy, but our server volunteered to bring us extra lemons because "they never give you enough" Thanks, girl! My husband loved his Bleu burger and my eldest recommends the dragonfruit lemonade. My youngest got mac and chee, now it looked like it might have been Kraft (which always bugs me) BUT it was def amped up with extra cheese, as you can see from the cheese pull in my photo. She didn't finish, but still insisted on taking the leftovers (a rarity for her). I got the adult grilled chee with the tomato bisque, everyone at the table was jealous, and it was good but the crust was a little too crust for me and the flavor of the tomato bisque was just... I dunno. It was fine but I think I'm just too choosy. Finally our server was kinda MIA towards the end of our meal, not a big deal but I would have ordered another beer, if she had done one final check-in after we got our food. No big whoop. read more

Yard House has become my go-to spot whenever I'm at an event at the nearby Pasadena Convention Center, which happens often. It's a great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. They have an extensive menu with great drinks and even better food. My favorite is the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak. It combines the best elements of both KBBQ and a Philly Cheesesteak into something truly delicious. It's so good that I can never bring myself to order anything else. The service is always excellent. Even when they're busy, they're usually on top of things. On my most recent visit, our server checked in on us frequently and made sure our drinks were always full. There's also plenty of seating both inside and outside in their patio. You can choose to sit at the bar if you'd like, but I opt for the booths since they're big and spacious. Overall, it's a fantastic place to eat. Even if I'm not in the immediate area, I'd still consider coming here. read more

Although Yard house is a chain, this was my first time trying it and everything tasted delicious. Based on yelp reviews, I ordered the Poke nachos, Jambalaya, Nashville chicken, and Mac and cheese. The poke nachos were the best. We all shared the appetizer and it was gone within a few minutes. As for the chicken, it was really juicy and it came with pancakes, waffles, and a pickle. The service was nice, we were greeted when we came in and the workers were attentive! read more

Yes, Yard House is a chain. Yes, Yard House is standard. But, if this is what you are looking for, then go for it! It's not an amazing establishment that you MUST go to, but it is consistent, it is good, and it is fun. We came here for dinner one night, and they put on the Padres game on a TV that was near us. The beer was good and cold, and the food was satisfying. We wanted a casual dinner and were just looking for something quick and easy. My older son was out of town, so it was just my wife, younger son, and myself. We had a great time, and a very peaceful dinner with just one kid! The kids meal was great, and my son loved it. Plenty of food at a good price. Our adult meals were also good. Service was quick and efficient, but not overly rushed. Looking forward to coming back for another casual meal in the future! read more

The Paseo marketplace is on life support and fortunately the only thing keeping it alive is the Yard House. There was a time when this place was bustling with energy and it was a good time had by all, but now it's a virtual ghost town. The new Regal Cinema complex might help a little, but does anyone go to the movies anymore? Tommy Bahamas is still around shockingly; glad to see niche shops survive this economy. At any rate, here's to hoping the Yard House doesn't pack up and leave like neighbor BJs Brewhouse did a few years back. It really is a good place to catch a game, eat pretty good food, and drink a nice cold beer. Service there is excellent, too, especially the bartenders. Haven't met one yet that I disliked and I've been coming here for years. And there's parking everywhere in the adjacent structure and across the street in another structure. Thats two whole structures. Even more parking is available now that nobody really comes here. Super clean, too. It's a good place for all occasions, from a date to a company party. Come one, come all! But the real reason I keep coming back is this: the lobster garlic noodles. Yep, it's the most expensive single dish on the menu, but worth it. Super delicious and always consistently good. Order once and you'll want to come back for more! Anyway, here's hoping you guys stick around! read more

I had not been to the Paseo Mall in Pasadena in a long time. The mall was dreary but the Yard House was a bright spot in a mostly vacant mall. We had lunch and were met with friendly service as we came in the door. The menu provides many food options and my husband said the Double-Decker BLT was really good and the fries were crisp and yummy. I was pleased to see the 700 and under menu and ordered a Cobb salad with. Skewer of shrimp. It was an ample serving and was beautifully presented. The only down side is our waiter was less than attentive. read more
Overall, my experience was not the greatest here. In my party, there was only myself which waited about 40 minutes after being told. I would only need to wait by to the max 15 minutes. The food was very disappointing. It was very distasteful, it was cold. Upon arrival, the broccoli was super hard, the potato were tasty, but cold. The shrimp tasted as if only one side had been seasoned. My Shirley Temple was probably the best thing there. The ambience was cute. It was very damn there was low lighting. There was opportunity to watch many games. I left after checking out on the kiosk without finishing my food. Friendly servers and overall staff. Quick service. Nice big patio with plenty of TV's both in and out. Large and great selection of house and outside craft beers and full bar. They've changed the menu from the last time I was here, but they still have good options to choose from. We ordered the Jambalaya and Whisky flaxseed salmon and grilled chicken kids meal. Came in with a very large party but the servers were very patient and helpful. I had the poke nachos, chicken tenders, and creme brûlée. The poke nachos was interesting so I wanted to try it. It's always funs to go to Yard House! The food is good and prices reasonable. Their appetizers are our go to choices! Different options to share and the portions are big. We had the chicken nachos, poke nachos, chicken tenders, and garlic noodles. Also, a jack pepper burger and washed them down with a h20melon margarita and a Moscow mule. Shelby our server was awesome! Attentive and pleasant! I like this place especially for dinner, with the huge space with the fancy bar. Also they got a vegetarian/vegan menu that really easy for me to order. The service is friendly. read more
We were in the area and needed a late night quick bite. We got seated right away as it wasn't as busy on a Tuesday around 9pm. Great date night spot. They validate parking, don't forget to bring the parking slip with you when you dine here. Our server kept checking up on us to make sure we had what we needed and refilled our waters constantly. We ordered mainly appetizers and beer. Poke Nacho- always a hit at any Yard House. They didn't skimp on topping at this location. Traditionally bone-in wings were crispy here and good. Garlic Truffle Fries- I could pass on. Just salty and crispy. Oreo Brookie- was surprisingly not too overly sweet and very enjoyable.
