Love this restaurant! The service was great. The waitress was super patient with me as I didn't know what to order. I just went with some basic wings because I was being so indecisive. Great service helped start the late night experience - I ordered the half yard of Guinness and the wife had a Tito's Cosmopolitan. My wife is from New England so lobster was on her mind and she ordered the Lobster Garlic Noodles on the advice of the waiter and I had the small portion of the [mac+cheese] - it was plenty and absolutely delicious!! - Order the large portion to share. The lobster garlic noodles turned out to be more of an Asian inspired dish - my wife was expecting an Italian version so it was somewhat of a let down. We will definitely return to give some more of the menu a try. Big TVs showing the latest sports and classic rock tunes in a dimly lit restaurant complete the experience. We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday today and the food was okay, almost like an upscale Chilis. However, the restaurant was pretty dirty. The hostess brought us to our table, saw the chairs being dirty (with sticky stuff on them) and the table had water on it and she didn't bother to try to clean it. They also had a lot off dropped on the floor and ketchup stains along the table cracks. We stayed only because we were very hungry. The pizza was okay but the jambalaya with the Jasmine rice was really good. They forgot my mom's jambalaya so we had to wait for it but they made up for it by bringing her a birthday cheesecake. Overall, it was okay and the location was good but I don't think that we'll be coming back. read more

I came on a Wednesday. On the same day of the Game 7 World Series. It was not too crowded and our group of 3 was seated right away. We received printed menus, but I preferred to browse through the touch screen menu. We could have ordered our food on there, but decided to inform the server (Javi) of our order. He gave me a great recommendation of ordering the Nashville Hot Chicken with a side mac and cheese. Both were amazingly good. However, I should have asked for the mild chicken, because the chicken was hella spicy! I still enjoyed it and it pleasantly compared to Nashville Hot Chicken. I accompanied my meal with a Midnight Sangria that I babysat the entire evening. The only disappointment were the bathrooms. There were not properly clean. My favorites from the table were the bang bang shrimp (I think that's what it was called) appetizer. My filet was good, not the best I've had but still I enjoyed it. I didn't like the sauce they had, which was their replacement for A1. The carrots on the side were SO GOOD- I don't like carrots and I ate every bit! I need to know how they cooked them. This was a disappointment...I called to order wings, and the girl that was taking my order had an attitude. She had no clue how to make 2 separate order of wings, and 1 order of fries. The wings...the wings were so weak, I would have rathered go to Wal mart and get some wings. All the seasoning was on one side of the wing, the other side was just naked. If i order lemon pepper wings, I want lemon pepper wings! They didn't give me a ranch for the wings, but the other order I made got a ranch dipping sauce. Absolutely amazing service, eclectic menu of great salads, Asian inspired dishes, burgers, sandwiches, salads and steaks. The expansive drink menu has something for everyone, including craft beers and signature cocktails. Highly recommend the Maui Pineapple Chicken, Dragonfruit Cosmo and Long Beach tea. Our server Adrian was super helpful and just a joy!! He helped my husband find the right beer for him by letting him taste some that sounded close to what he likes. Megan made it a wonderful experience and we will be back often!! Needed a last-minute reservation for THIRTY people because of a miscommunication with a restaurant we'd booked for our rehearsal dinner. This place has a good sized menu and a giant on tap beer selection. It's also quite large inside and there are places where you can oversee what's going on below on the river walk. Overall good atmosphere and the staff there were pleasant and attentive. We showed up on a busy night at 8pm with a party of 11 people and they were able to accommodate us with about a 20 minute wait. Not too shabby. The food I'd say was fairly average. We had cheese curds, garlic Parmesan fries and edamame as appetizers. The cheese curds came with some kind of horseradish aioli that was pretty tasty. For my entree I ordered the cheesesteak. The thing I really like about it was that it was topped with crispy onion strings. Never had that before and it was a solid addition. The downfall of the meal was that it had very little cheese on the cheesesteak itself and then also had some other kind of steak sauce that I wasn't wild about. Oh well, overall a good place for some food and fun, I just probably need to try something different next time. read more

I think we ended up going to Yard House three nights in a row when in San Antonio haha! They are one of few bars that stays open late and they offer a decent "late night" menu. Their half off apps during happy hour was perfect and allowed us to try several great food items. The fried calamari was by far everyones favorite. I also want to note that our bartenders and servers were all awesome. Each night we were there they were extremely busy, but we were met with prompt and friendly service. The bartender from KY was our favorite, we had an upcoming trip to the Bourbon Trail and she gave us lots of great restaurant and bar tips! read more

I started with Grand Patron Margarita and it's so good. (I've ordered a couple). We got the guac & chips app which was also really good - very fresh and had really good flavor. The chips it came with where perfect for dipping and perfectly salty. Our server Nick is super helpful and polite. When we asked about different entrees, he was knowledgeable and able to give us very descriptive details about different items. For dinner I ordered a Baja fish taco, Baja shrimp taco, and blackened shrimp taco - with fries. And he got the 8oz pepper crusted filet with the kale and romaine Caesar salad. Everything we ordered was AMAZING. I especially loved both shrimp tacos. The steak was cooked perfectly and so delicious. We will definitely be back while in town. We had a few beers and some grindz and were so very happy. We have come to the conclusion that whatever you order - the food will always be delicious. We usually order the poke nachos, but not today. We stuck w more generic fare and all was still was great. I also had a seasonal horchata beer which was a bit on the nasty side, but my second rhubard strawberry sour made up for it. The hubs as usual order solid beers and was happy w them. A few picks to capture our snacks and brews. Enjoy! Ohhhh, and the yardhouse truly has the best meal salads in all the land. Our first time at this location. First and foremost once we arrived were greeted by one young lady. Afterwards two other employees interrupted and they began to converse about what? For 3-5 minutes we stood there waiting to be seated. We were seated near a very noisy group of people that seemed like they were having a pep rally. We were ready to walk out, until our waitress apologized and moved us to another location in the restaurant. My appetite was gone by then. However, we ordered anyway. My husband ordered the Lobster Garlic Noodles and I ordered the Blackened Shrimp tacos. My food was very spicy and I only ate one. My husband's food was just okay. We went twice due to them being the only restaurant open and seating past 9:30 - it took about 10 minutes for our server to greet us both times, normally I don't care but there was not a lot of traffic either night and you could see them standing around. Our food was wrong both times and we just had to eat it because nobody stopped by in time to check on us. The second time we were there we had to get up and grab a ketchup bottle from a table whose party had just left because our food was dropped by someone not our server and then nobody came by. We had the boneless wings (yum!!), the Nashville Tennessee sandwich (double yum), and Greg Goose Strawberry Mule (very flavorful and sweet - a little too sweet for me, but that's just my preference). Everything came out quick. We did order sweet potato fries and received regular ones, but we just asked our server to make sure we weren't charged the up charge. If you're a craft beer drinker this is the spot! They feature over 125 different craft beers for you to choose from. So there's no shortage of choices. The diversity of the menu is nice and refreshing. There are several items you don't typically find like the Pork Lumpia (Filipino egg rol) and there were six skinny egg rolls. Enough for everyone to try one. The Wisconsin Cheese Curd is very tasty as well. I'd highly recommend the cold sesame noodle appetizer. They're good hot as well as a dinner portion. My recommendation would be if you go with a larger group to order several snacks and appetizers to snack from they have several small plates and appetizers to choose from and it's a nice way to enjoy not only the food but the company of those at the table and allows you to try several options from the menu. Be aware that some of the appetizer items are the price of entrées, but they're also large portions meant for sharing. The Bavarian Pretzel is very large and enough for 4 or more to snack on. The only real critique I have is the frequency in which the waitress came to the table. After we ordered our drinks she disappeared for almost 20 minutes. We had to flag her down so we could order food. When she was at the table she was great the problem was she didn't visit it very often. They do have some great happy hour deals and a late Sunday night happy hour for those who like to rough it ar the beginning of the work week or whose weekends run into Monday.
