Some friends recommended this place when we were in the area and needed some gluten free options. The restaurant has a fun modern diner feel to it with an open kitchen and bright mint walls to help wake you up in the morning! The place was pretty crowded when we were there and it's only one dining space with booths lining the side and large picnic style tables in the center. We were told that this is definitely a hot spot for breakfast on the weekends. They have gf options on the menu and it was relatively easy ordering as our server was familiar with informing the kitchen on how to prep for people with the no choice VIP membership to the Ihateglutenclub also known as Celiac. I was feeling straightforward this morning and went with an omelette which came with some lovely seasoned potatoes and opted for a side of niiiicce crispy bacon. The husband had the corned beef hash and absolutely loved it, so much so that I was too frightened by the look in his eye to even ask for a nibble. My omelette was good and coffee was spot on. It's a super creative menu with definitely something for everyone. Combine this with prices that make those of us from Western WA tear up with joy and you've got yourself a dynamite brunch spot. Came here while visiting Spokane on a June weekend. Me and my daughter got there about 30 min after opening, and there was already a wait (not complaining, just advising you to get there early!). We were sat and promptly seated waited on, our waiter was so nice and friendly!! I just got as a little disappointed that they still had their fall menu. While I love pumpkin donuts and gingerbread waffles in the fall, in the middle of June it just didn't sound great. I ended up having the biscuits and gravy which were amazing! It was both home made and I should have asked for a half order because it was a lot!! Over all a great experience, just would have liked a more spring/summer menu! read more

The ham is so fresh, English muffin perfectly grilled crisp, and perfectly poached eggs all covered with delicious hollandaise that was the perfect consistency. I brunch A LOT, so I told my brother to impress me while I was visiting, and the Yards didn't disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised with the happy-go-lucky service we got even on a cold snow day. The giant coffee mug may have been my favorite thing here! The menu included all the classics, and a few with a twist. I devoured my eggs Benedict - the hollandaise could have been richer, but the broken yolk helped. If you order the skirt steak, I suggest you ask for the gravy on the side. They drown theirs, which can take away from how well cooked and flavorful that steak is. Just my two cents! When I visit again, I'll certainly come back here. read more

Have been here several times and we have not been disappointed. The variety in the menu is great, as they have American breakfast dishes, Canadian Poutine, as well as korean Kalbi and multiple Mexican dishes. The fried deviled eggs and honey butter chicken sandwich are must-try's! There is usually a wait of 15-20 minutes, even on weekdays but the service is fast and attentive. Amazing spot for brunch! I've been here a few times & have not been disappointed. Wait times can be long depending what time you go, but that's pretty common with brunch places. Best times would be to come earlier in the day or on a weekday, but still worthwhile if you need to wait. Despite being busy at times, their servers are very kind and are pretty timely with serving meals. Favorite breakfast place downtown. In the summertime you might have to wait a bit the line is usually out the door. In the wintertime it's nice you can get seated right away I've tried several things on the menu none of them disappoint everything is fresh. Huckleberry pancakes are to die for and I tried their donuts they are bite-size oh my goodness they literally melted in my mouth because they just made them especially for me. Wow! One of my favorite items on the menu Huevos Rancheros you can get it without the chorizo if you don't like. I have also tried the chorizo egg tacos they were pretty good too. Other people at my table had the burger and let me know it was yummy. As far as parking goes there is street parking I like I mentioned before in the summertime it's pretty hard to find a spot if they are busy. read more

We visited Yards Bruncheon, as it was very close to our Airbnb in the Kendall Yards neighborhood. After reading its raving reviews we decided to check it out, and knew it was gonna be good once we saw the line outside the door on a Saturday. For the two of us we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The space inside is really cute, with its checkered black and white floor and light teal booths. It reminds you of a diner, but with elevated food. If you check-in on Yelp you get a free drip! With my drip I ordered the Chicken Po'Boy, mostly because the name of the fried chicken in the sandwich is Spokantucky. Gotta love puns. My friend ordered the Katsu Pork Sandwich and we didn't wait long for our grub to be ready. Everything was delicious! My po'boy was solid, and I liked how tender the fried chicken was and the batter was not too heavy. On the fried chicken were gravy and pickled peppers, adding some nice spice to it. Bread was also well-balanced for the sandwich. I could only eat half since it was on the heavier end, especially with tots on the side. But it was enjoyable. The menu features a lot of really appealing dishes. Because of so, it took us a bit to figure out what to order. From classic entrees like scrambles and french toast, there were more unique dishes such as a kimchi rice bowl. There's something for everyone here. Service by Tracy was an excellent server and the chicken and waffles scrumptious; I like my slaw with a little vinegar, matter of taste, the jalapeños gave it a good zip. My first time being to this spot in Spokane and it was so much fun! The wait time was a bit long for our group (30-45 minutes) so we took a nice walk to see the baby eagles and the river. Wow! I had a fantastic bacon and sweet potato omelet, and I don't really like omelets! I asked for a side of fruit instead of potatoes and it was super yummy. So incredibly yummy. I haven't been here in a few months, as I came while visiting Spokane. But let me tell you, I can remember the day like yesterday. Busy on a Sunday morning, we had a bit of wait but no worries we sat at the large community table and were promptly greeted and served. I had an extremely difficult time choosing what to order. My friend got the chicken and waffles but I liked mine better. Pancakes, French toast, coffee, hot chocolate, the service, atmosphere...EVERYTHING spot on and fun and lovely. Wonderful. My friend mentioned this place last night and we thought we'd try it. Kendall Yards was new to me but, as we got there very early, we walked the Centennial Trail until they opened at 8am. Clean and a little classy, the menu seems to be only a phone thing but they may have something for those with poor/old phones. I was across the street buying shoes at "Fleet Feet" (see review) and noticed "Yards". The space is very simply furnished with the type of tables and chairs boomers might recognize from their childhood. The atmosphere is very relaxed with both indoor and outdoor seating. During my visit the servers were hustling to meet the needs of the full dining areas but were nonetheless cheery and efficient. I ordered the yards benedict and a bloody mary. My coworker brought me to Yards Bruncheon in Kendall Yards for some lunch and it was really packed at noon time. The restaurant had an old school, retro-themed diner vibe, which I really liked. I ordered the petite breakfast which came with scrambled egg whites, two pieces of bacon, house potatoes, and a slice of sour dough bread. Everything tasted solid and I really liked the buttery sour dough with raspberry jam. It was warm, crunchy, and super tasty. House potatoes were well-seasoned and didn't taste overly salty. Also, there was nothing petite about the breakfast because it was ginormous! Overall, I really enjoyed my food and the fast service here. We were in and out of the restaurant within the hour. Very disappointed with our recent experience. While the service was great, the food was very unremarkable especially given the high prices. The avocado toast was basic and the avocado wasn't ripe. The corn beef hash had massive chunks of chewy, poorly cooked cabbage - it was only edible after I managed to find and remove all the cabbage (I like cabbage). Well this is our third time trying this place on a birthday! It's super disappointing when you just want to go out have a good meal and it turns out like this. Our food was burnt, cold and soggy strange to have all three! Coffee, waters were never filled or asked if we would like refills. Food took a long time to come out and then 3 out of six dishes were in eatable, because they were burnt! Why didn't we send them back? Well because it took so long and we had other engagements to get to! I think the most disappointing is that the cooks let the burnt food out and the waitress also delivered it to the table! I worked the the restaurant industry and I would have never brought them to the table! Never once did she come ask if we needed anything or refills! And if we did need something I had to get up and get it myself I can do that at home and not burn a pancake! So frustrating when you pay this much for brunch and could have had a better frozen pancake and French toast! Ok people, I have TRIED to love this place, as it is in a nice area, mid price range, and interesting menu selection that is not overwhelming. I have been here many times, even after poor experiences, I eventually come back and give them another try. And so far, they have never failed...to disappoint, in some capacity. When I've been here during the weekend, when they're busier, the customer service is extremely lacking-either rude/short server, or orders taken incorrectly. One time a server brought me a completely different item that I didn't order, when I let her know she seemed visibly annoyed and asked if I wanted to wait for what I ordered. When going on a slow, weekday morning, three people in our party ordered Benedicts and EACH one had completely overdone eggs (which defeats purpose). I let the server know and he literally shrugged, said sorry, and asked me what I wanted done about it. We didn't want to wait for them to redo everyone's dish so we just asked for extra hollandaise. It was so disappointing. On top of that he so kindly let us know he didn't charge us for the extra sauce. It's so jarring when a seemingly nicer breakfast place cares so little about their food actually being cooked correctly, then places the responsibility on the customer to figure out how to fix their mistakes. So all that said, customer beware; lower your expectations waaaaay down, and you may be fine with a place like this. read more

I had such at great experience here! I will plan to come back if I am ever in Spokane again. I had the omelet with tomatoes, goat cheese, some nuts, and avocado. It also came with breakfast with breakfast potatoes. It was fabulous! We also ordered the homemade donut holes that melted in my mouth! They change up the type each day.
