Well I've gone here two separate times and I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt due to me looking young, but both times I have gone here I have had close to zero salesman interaction which is a little discouraging to say the least, shows the effort these people put into making sales. Besides that there is one particular guy that runs the used car lot, nice young guy helped me out and was super cool. Knew about what he was talking about and was able to provide tons of info where I was lacking knowledge. Obviously a car enthusiast. Felt more as if I was talking to a friend than a salesman. He took me for a ride in the car I was looking at purchasing, didn't make me fill out paperwork or provide any info, was just willing and what to help. Overall I give this place four stars because of the experience I had with that guy, otherwise the dealership and its employees are slacking a bit. read more

So disappointed in this dealership. I will start by saying everyone for the exception of Brent was extremely kind. But kindness doesn't give me back my 5 thousand dollar kit. I purchased the BEST truck on the lot and the head light went out BEFORE purchase. Informed Kelly our salesman. He said no problem he will have the tech work on it next week and get all fixed. Next week comes and I drive AN HOUR there just to be told "sorry we didn't realize what lights you had on it. Come back next week" next week comes and I drive another hour there. After sitting and waiting FOUR hours to be told "sorry it's not working, I'll try and order another one. Come back in 2 weeks" 2 weeks come and they don't even call me! I have to call them and ask when it's gonna be in. After sitting and waiting another four hours I'm told "sorry still not working we are gonna take off a 3 thousand dollar kit and give you guys absolutely nothing and just put all factory stuff back on it" I literally had to FIGHT just to get a fucking oil change from them in exchange for FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. And after all of it, Brent said to me "be glad, if I knew of any of this going on, I would have never had them do any of it and made you figure it out" absolutely ridiculous. Don't buy from here unless you wanna be given a big ol middle finger. read more

I wouldn't recommend this dealership for anything! The worst service experience, if you leave something negative on Facebook they block you instead of trying to help fix the issue. They like to skirt around issues and hide from them. This is far from a recommendation and I'm sure Yates will block it or delete it instead of owning the issue and help! This is just not different to other places, sales people under pressure to make a sale by Yates Son who is always barking at the sales people, Service department managed by a guy named Edy who has more excuses that ethics to work for GM. I bought a brand new truck here with more problems that can't be fixed by Edy because he has a reason why things can't be done, and every problem has more excuses for Edy to continue develop his poor service here. I bought a van for $17,000.They did a 24 point inspection after 1000 miles driven by me.It had 59,000 m.when I got it.Now 60,000.They said it was good to go, too. Now they want $99.00 to flush the radiator.That should have been done before they sold it to me.I would understand if it was old or cheap,but like I said,$17,000.They even offered to buy it back for 12,000 after I had it for 2 months.Wow! such a deal! Just had an incredible experience with the service department. I had originally talked to Ed on the phone, and he was friendly and attentive. He told me to bring my Saturn down to perform a recall fix on it. I couldn't make it until after hours, but no worries... A sales guy helped me with the key drop. Not only did they fix that recall, but they went ahead and fixed two other recalls on my car! I was handed a bill for $0. Mike was my service advisor, and even though I never met him personally, I felt comfortable during the entire process. Yates is a great family-owned operation. I'm very unhappy with my purchase of a GMC truck from Yates GMC. After owning the truck a few months the entire electrical system on the truck shuts down while driving. The includes the steering locking up wile the tuck is moving. The truck is currently under warranty and with Yates GMC Service for a second time to try to fix this dangerous issue. I've lost all confidence in GMC and Yates. Please do the research and pick a different dealership. On a side not don't count on Ashley in the service department being any help or picking her phone up for that matter. read more

I took my car in and was assigned Ashley as my service advisor. My appointment was on a Wednesday at 3 pm. to diagnose an issue with my theft deterrent system. Understandably, I was told that it we be some time the next day that I would hear from them. Well...the next day I called Ashley at 12pm...no answer left a message, I called her again at 3 pm, left a message...called her again at 5pm...she finally answered and said my car still hasn't been looked at. So Friday morning at 10am I called...no answer. I called again at 12 pm, no answer. I finally got a ride and walked in...Ashley was off Friday...no one else knew anything about what was going on with my car. Two other service advisors Titus & Phil were able to assist and track down my car. Turns out my car was ready Friday morning...the customer service I received was HORRIBLE...I even called and emailed the Service Manager Michael Olague...I have yet to receive a response to the email or any of my calls. I stopped by to look at a new car since my lease ends soon. I walked around their lot/patio for about 10+ minutes. Not one person ever greeted me. I drive a nice car and dress well so it wasn't like I was in shorts and flip-flops driving a 67 Beetle. So then I go online to look at a 2018 Terrain lease. Yates shows it on the home page, but when you click on "disclosure" the disclosure disappears and you are taken elsewhere, never to get the details. Bought a used Sierra from these guys. I immediately moved across the country the following week. On the way a tire pressure monitor went out. Mind you this was only a week after buying this truck. As soon as I got the time, I took it to a certified GMC dealer locally. They fixed it and said the AZ dealer you bought it from should reimburse me for it. Called Yates to see if that could happen. We recently purchased a truck from Yates that required some cosmetic work and also the installation of some running boards and a hitch. We were told this would take only 2 or 3 days. Well, it's been over 2 weeks now and each time we call, we're told just another day or 2. The last straw came when I called today and talked to a Sean who said "Everyone around here is wondering about the red truck" and then started laughing. Not happy about paying for repairs a 2nd time due to poor design by GM. Your service advisor Shane admitted the blower motor was responsible for the rear evaporator leaking, yet no free replacement? He felt GM did me a favor knocking the repair cost in half. Are you kidding me?!? 2nd time in 2 1/2 years it's been repaired and yet the consumer should be grateful. Bought a certified used car from them. Not too long after we bought the car we started having engine issues and would lose all power while driving. Took the car in and had it checked out, they said they could not get the car to do it and so they sent us home. A day later the car again lost power only this time it was on I-10 in heavy traffic and we almost got into an accident. Took the car right in and had it checked out again. They didn't even want to look at the car again but we finally were able to get them to look at it. They said there was an exhaust leak but that it was no big deal and they didn't want to fix it even though the vehicle is certified. Sent us home again with no fixes. A few days later we were having issues with the car again and so back to the dealer we went and they went ahead and fixed the exhaust leak and sent us on our way. Vehicle continued to have problems so we dropped it off and they said they needed it for 3 days and so we left it. They replaced a sensor and we picked up the car after 4 days. Now we are having issues again and took the car in to get checked out. We were told that the breaks were still good but they wanted to charge us $300+ to replace the breaks and resurface the roters but that might not fix the issue since the break pads still have plenty of life left in them. They sent us home and told us to come back and talk to a manager 3 days. Left the car overnight and got a call this morning and was finally able to call back this afternoon and the guy was very rude and unprofessional and they won't fix my vehicle. Overall horrible and not professional don't buy any cars from them and definitely don't buy a certified car because they don't back it up and won't fix it. read more

Was visiting from San Diego and happen to stop by their dealership. Absolutely no pressure and we had a very enjoyable test drive, they even told us to take as long as we like(that was a pleasant surprise). Once we returned Matt VanHorn our salesman was very nice and walked us through the price and what deal they could give us. After showing us every other car within 500 miles that was priced higher we got the car for 2500 less that anywhere else. They got all the paperwork done quickly and asked them to detail it before we picked it up the next day. If any thing I have to say they was just ok, I am a stickler for detail and they car was just cleaned not detailed but I still got a good deal so that just means I will clean it to my standard. I only use Buick and will have to drive 1 1/2 hours total drive time out of route to make sure I receive good customer service. "YATES LEAVES A BAD TASTE!!!"
