    Blah taste chicken alfredo
    Violet H.

Great reviews on Uber Eats, but I should have checked here too. Didn't help that I was the third delivery but that doesn't explain all the issues. I ordered a 10" thin crust BBQ chicken pizza. The crust was already devolving into sogginess but the pizza was also removed too early from the oven. It was a sticky, sickly taste, with way too much salt. Maybe the alfredo with chicken penne would be better. . .nope. I made sure to stir it well since the sauce had settled. Alfredo is a cheesy sauce; this had no discernable cheese flavor, more like a weak dairy taste. The chicken is typically grilled. This chicken looked more like it was pan fried. It had a tiny bit of color around the edges and was rubbery and tasteless. There was a lot of chicken but the preparation - really the entire dish - was of poor quality. The only good thing was the reusable yellow bag the pasta box came in. Ugh. I think my reward will be an upset stomach.

I ordered the clam chowder. It was ok. The service was ok. I did like the ambiance. The kitchen workers singing and is happy... so I gave an extra star. Love seeing happy people in any environment.

Happy National Spaghetti Day!! They just messed up on a classic on this special day and that's really sad and explains why there no one in here. Sharing the same lot with Costco I've always wanted to give them a try now who doesn't like pizza and pasta not this one and on this day though it would be classic place to go...wrong! I ordered the "Aglio Olio Chicken Pasta" and I'll tel you if you want veggies get their salad cause you won't find it in nothing much more so this dish. Classically this dish is made of four ingredients (pasta, garlic, olive oil and red pepper flakes) hoping they used olive oil...shrug! There's zero chili flakes and just about zero garlic which leaves a bland pasta with oil and sundried tomatoes and that was it nothing else besides some bland chicken. The service is minimal you pay at the counter and pick it up yourself the inside is quite large and roomy with nice decor and a lot of seating but sadly that's the only bright side besides the free parking right outside.

Manhattan Meatlover - my person fave.

Used to work behind it and we used to pass to go to Costco or Max's or L&L. Finally decided it was time to try and get for our office. Ordered online...suuuuper easy to order and pay even during closed hours. Got 4 18" pizzas...all were hot and ready when I had requested them. Ask for peppers and cheese if you want them. Ordered Chicken Pesto, NY's Finest (like a supreme), Manhattan Meatlovers, and Pepperoni. I tried small slivers of all except for the Pepperoni. Tasty. The chicken was a little dry, but otherwise good. I think I liked the Meatlovers the best. Kinda NY pizza-ish...at least what I know of it as a Hawaii girl who visited NY many times. What I like is that there was choke toppings...almost all the way to the end. A little limper than I like, but maybe cuz wasn't fresh. I think, take it home and throw it in the oven lil while crisp up the crust...winnahs. Good prices. Worker was super nice. I'll definitely go back... 1 issue...homeless guy peep'n in at the door, touching it and I just don't like anyone's germs. But I know the area and really he didn't do anything bad.

We ordered the garden specialty pizza. The guy didn't even cut the bell pepper, he put one long strip on each pizza slice. Lol never had that before. It made it difficult to eat. The pizza wasn't special, with no special flavors or taste. Just an ordinary pizza. We also ordered the garlic parmesan wings. These were good. A little bit oily, but the taste was good. The cashier was a young Filipino boy. He was nice. Service was as expected, and good. There are two large spaces to have parties. The dining area is also spacious. I can see why it's always empty though. Hard to beat Costco pizza... it's bigger in size and more affordable. I was hoping this place would stand out, but it didn't.

Although Parmesan Wings are an option, I clearly ordered Honey Garlic Wings!

This is why you should never have just a bunch of young kids running your business. Typically, they have no customer service skills, and just don't care. Case in point, I ordered "Honey Garlic Wings" and got "Parmesan Garlic Wings". Honey garlic wings does not have parmesan on it! After getting the wings, I let the cashier know that they gave me parmesan wings by mistake. He said no, those were honey garlic wings. I showed it to him and said they have parmesan all over it. However, he insisted that it was the correct honey garlic wings. The guy couldn't admit their mistake and just make me a new batch of wings. Smelled like parmesan, tasted like parmesan, WELL I GUESS IT MUST HAVE BEEN PARMESAN THEN!!!!! Next time i want wings, I'll just go to Wingstop down the street. Lesson learned!

Food is always A+ when I come here. Always fresh and hot. No complaints. I would recommend this place.

    Plain cheese 10"
    Mychel E.

The place was clean, big and empty. Perfect for a lunch party of one. I got just a plain cheese pizza and was really underwhelmed. The crust was thinner than I thought (not all bad) and there were bites with extra seasoning on it. It was weird. Staff seemed bored I guess since they didn't have a lunch rush (walked in at 12:15pm. I would try this place again just because I really want to like it ‍

I'm gonna give this place 5 starts! Not sure what's up with the bad reviews. Parking was easy and plenty spaces. We ordered the four seasons which was four different kinds of pizza but on one pizza (NY Classic with Pepperoni, #4 Cheese, BBQ Chicken, and Roasted Garlic & Shrimp) The crust was chewy and delicious as well as the toppings. My favourite was the BBQ chicken! We also ordered the Charlie Chan pasta, garlic parmesan wings and hot wings! Charlie Chan pasta was 10/10!!! Oh my gosh! It's beyond delicious. It's spicy, it's savoury. It's got roasted peanuts, mushrooms and perfectly cooked pasta! Garlic parmesan wings had actual pieces of garlic. This is my favourite flavour of their wings. The hot one wasn't too spicy, it was more on the milder side for me. It came with ranch sauce. Service was okay, like it wasn't bad but it wasn't noteworthy either. My husband and our friend absolutely loved it here. They actually wanna grab food here on Super bowl day, it's just sucks since they're all the way in town.

Costco food court was closing up so we decided to try this place out since it was in the same parking lot. We were surprised by how big the place is, an open seating area + 2 private room dens, cute and simple decor, and an ordering counter right in the center. We opted for a large pizza with half and half toppings. The pizza itself took about 15 minutes to come out, served with paper plates. A really big pie with ALOT of cheese-- so much that we could barely see the toppings underneath the cheesy layer. I'm a crust kind of girl-- so my happiness with any pie is 90% dependent on the crust. The crust was just alright. Not too thin, but thick enough to have a cardboard feel. Flavor of the cheese and meat toppings were standard-- nothing to remember it by. Their tomato sauce was generous and I dug the tanginess and flavor. Overall, I can't say I'd come back to this place but it may be worth going if you're feeding a whole gang of kids or a big party. Their prices are fair for how much you get!

    New York's Finest Pizza
    Shana V.

I was sick and not feeling up to cooking. I hadn't eaten all day and realized I was feeling hungry, that's a good sign right?! Via texts my family decided it was going to be a pizza night. I definitely have my usual places but we decided to try someplace new to us, that we could get delivered via uber eats. Yellow cab pizza had a good online menu so I knew what to expect. We got the New Yorker, the largest size. I also ordered the honey garlic wings, bone in. After placing my order I got a call from YCP stating that they were out of the bone in wings, so I gave the ok for the boneless. I really appreciated the service via the phone call. Turns out boneless is like boneless thighs. Since we didn't dine in, there wasn't any ambiance to rate...no booths, tables, decor, volume level, but I'm guessing they are all good.

We sat outside and even though it was a very hot day, the temperature was very comfortable under the roofed area. The Pinot Grigio was excellent! With Onda Pasta, I'm ONDA way to pasta greatness…read more I first learned about Onda Pasta during a Yelp Elite virtual pasta making class a few months back, and gosh, Andrea serves a quality product. The base is with semolina flour, eggs, and flour; simple enough, right? But his pasta has more depth to it, and the fact that it's homemade shows. Some varieties include squid ink pasta, spaghetti, and rigatoni. Find him and his small, humble team at the Aloha Farm Lovers Kaka'ako market on Saturday mornings from 8 am-12 pm, and the Kailua one on Sunday mornings from 8 am-12 pm. They are enthusiastic, and more than happy to recommend pasta varieties based on what kind of pasta you desire to whip up!

Fresh, homemade pasta, and unique, authentic sauces. I think I just died and went to pasta heaven…read more Andrea is a super cool guy, setting up shop every weekend at the Kakaako and Kailua farmers market, selling his homemade pasta dishes. On today's farmers market adventure, my sister, my mom, and I set out for some cool local finds and came across Onda Pasta while looking for lunch. Andrea is super knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. We talked a bunch about pasta and I was surprised to find out that he makes everything himself! I purchased his mafaldine pasta (uncooked) and corn pesto sauce. Upon returning home, I was so excited to try out my purchase. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. Talk about a quick and easy meal! Andrea suggested I bring the pasta water to a boil and let the pasta cook for four minutes and that's exactly what I did. After letting the noodles cool I taste tested the noodles (of course) and they were perfect. Al dente! The perfect amount of chewy and taste. While boiling the noodles, I heated up the pasta sauce. The corn pesto was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. At the farmers market, Andrea suggested we add bits of crispy bacon and cheese to garnish our dish with. I unfortunately had neither bacon nor cheese so I made it my own and garnished it with baby tomatoes and basil from my garden. And let me tell you, he does not skimp on the pasta or sauce. One container of pasta and one container of sauce fed myself, my grandma, and mom comfortably. All in all, if you're looking for a quick, homemade, cook at home pasta meal, Onda Pasta is where it's at!

Lately I've been dining on soups like pho and ramen, lamb curry stews, and snacking on real fruit smoothies, and I felt like I needed a change of pace. However, I didn't realize I had this burning desire until I saw the foodie pics here on Yelp. It was then that I seriously wondered how I could inject a little more variety into my foodie repertoire. I saw this restaurant listed on Yelp and immediately thought, Ooh, what about Italian??? :D Myself replied: Mmm, that sounds tantalizing, Jules Y.! :D After perusing the menu to make sure I wasn't gonna miss out on a thing, it only took a few seconds for me to hone in on the two items I ultimately ordered: * 16" Florentine pizza (gigante) * Gnocchi Gorgonzola with added mushrooms I added mushrooms to the gnocchi dish, which was a fantastic decision I would not want to go without on future dines of this dish. The pizza was a thin crust topped with luscious mozzarella, rough-chopped garlic, spinach, and ricotta cheese. The gnocchi contained chicken chunks, potato gnocchi, luscious cream sauce, and the mushrooms I added. The Florentine immediately caught my eye. I'm particular about not eating sausage, pepperoni, and other typical pizza meats, so this cheese-and-spinach combination was exactly what I was looking for. I expected something around a medium-sized pizza, but what arrived was this unexpectedly large pie sitting inside a huge, flat pizza box. It seemed enormous! The crust was thin with a nicely fire-charred edge, while the center was packed with luscious cheesy goodness. Random dollops of ricotta, spinach leaves, and these entirely unexpected little chunks of fresh, soft, juicy garlic created little flavor explosions throughout every bite. It made eating the pizza fun because each slice was a little different. Although I thought I was hungry enough to eat a lion, I naturally stopped after only a couple of slices. That turned out to be a bonus because I had delicious leftovers for lunches and dinners over the next couple of days. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola was a different experience altogether. Tender potato gnocchi were coated in a thick, luscious cream sauce with chunks of chicken scattered throughout. The mushrooms I added were thinly sliced and blended in perfectly with the gnocchi, chicken, and creamy sauce. My only criticism is that the dish was saltier than I would have preferred. I think using about half as much salt would have allowed the flavors of the gnocchi and sauce to shine through even more. Aside from that, every bite was pleasantly chewy, rich, creamy, and satisfying. The sauce was everywhere--and that is definitely a good thing. Yum! These two dishes complemented each other perfectly because they offered completely different flavors and textures. The rich, cheesy Florentine pizza paired wonderfully with the creamy Gnocchi Gorgonzola. If I eat here again, I'll probably order these exact same dishes. If you enjoy Italian food as much as I do, I suspect you'll enjoy Aroma Italia's menu.

I ordered a slice of Spinach, Cheese & Garlic pizza and the size of the slice was pretty substantial. I asked about the other items on display: cannolis (believe it or not I've never had one & I will on my next visit), cookies and salads.
