Cold brew at this cute little spot!
    Alendre L.

Such a cute little spot to grab a quick snack and a coffee or tea. They have a few chairs and small tables out front, and it's attached to a brewery (which was still closed when we visited). The barista/cashier was super friendly, which made the visit even better. My friend and I ordered a cold brew, a hot black tea, and a meat pie. Cold brew was solid, black tea was great, and the meat pie was decent - just a bit soggy on the bottom. A quick toast on both sides before serving would've made it perfect. Overall, really nice experience and a cozy place to stop by!

I stumbled upon this place during my morning walk! It's super small and cute. It looks like it's run from inside kairoa brewing. There are 2 little tables out front with 2 chairs each and 2 stools at the bar to enjoy your drinks! Staff member was very sweet and made great recommendations. I tried the iced matcha with lavender honey and one of the mini chicken pies because... why not?! Definitely worth if if you're in the area looking for a quick pick me up. Food/drink review: Iced matcha: (4/5) It's pretty good. I don't really taste the lavender honey that was added. Overall decent drink! Chicken pie: (3.5/5) This was very interesting. The outside was super buttery, flaky and delicious. The inside was ehhh. The chicken is pretty dry. It comes with chicken and some veggies. Wouldn't order again.

My sweet friend Keala got me a gift card to Yipao! First things first. The hours of operation are 7am-2pm Monday-Thursday so good for the early risers. There isn't much street parking so be mindful of that. Now to the good part: the coffee!!! Well, I ordered the rosemary brown sugar latte and that sounds to die for already. I loved the subtle rosemary flavor with a balanced brown sugar syrup. I feared that this latte would be so sweet but I had absolutely NOTHING to fear! So creative! Anyway I could tell my latte was made from high quality coffee beans. Like the top of the line. Best of the best. Crème de la crème. I wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction trust. I'll be back next week!

Great coffee, cute location, and lovely service. They roast their own coffee and you can definitely taste the difference of a good roast. Great experience! Parking: Street parking, busy during rush hours Review: Coffee: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Decor: 5/5

I love trying new food on Park Blvd so I was excited to try this coffee shop, but unfortunately it wasn't really memorable. I like the atmosphere as it is set up inside Koa Brewing & has some seating outside, but the coffee was mid. Tastes like something I could make at home, which is usually why I buy coffee out. Not bad but not amazing.

A friend from Colombia recommended I check this place out and it did not disappoint! As someone who only drinks black americanos, the espresso was perfect! I love the outdoor bar seating, too. They have some pastries but I didn't try any this time. I will definitely be back!

    Gingerbread latte.

Cute little coffee spot to sit in the sun and enjoy a latte... in my case a gingerbread latte. Some syrups are made in house and the barista was nice enough to give us a try of the syrups. Latte was foamy and satisfying. Love these local coffee shops! Parking is in the neighborhood and you may need to circle a couple of times.

Little staycation in University Heights was a nice break from downtown. On our morning walk we ran by Yipao! They had some delicious options for snacks and pies. I will be coming back tomorrow for one haha. JP was so nice and was patient with us as we've never been and they had some really awesome choices. We decided on the Rosemary Brown Sugar coffee was delicious. thank you for the kind service early in the morning and great vibes! can't wait to come back. they do operate out of a brewery so it's outdoor seating with 2 small tables but a great little spot to hang. can't wait to get my card stamped , thanks again!

Was my lucky day as parking was not an issue and finally able to check this coffee spot that has been on my list for some time. They offer so many options that I had to order 2 drinks LOL. I ordered the Rosemary Brown Sugar Latte and the Raspberry Latte. The rosemary latte is on their regular menu which is nice to see as this tasted really good. The rosemary flavor is a light hint and not too strong. It combines well with the coffee ... A combo one wouldn't think of. The raspberry latte is on the seasonal menu and they make their own raspberry syrup. I didn't get a lot of raspberry flavor (lighter than the rosemary hint), but the latte was still good! I do plan to go back and try their chai ginger latte as well as one of their lemonaded. Service was awesome (barista was so nice, fun and helpful). Feels like I found a new fav coffee spot .

Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte and Honey Lavender Latte

Coffee here is absolutely phenomenal. The seasonal Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte had the perfect amount of sweetness and flavors combined with the coffee. Would absolutely get it again. The Honey Lavender Latte is also delicious, I personally would go with the Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte because it's different and unique and can't be found at other coffee shops. On the main menu, there doesn't seem to be many options for flavors, however, there is a little sign that has all the seasonal flavors, definitely pick from those because this place has their own handmade syrups. I went in the morning on a weekday at 11 am and during that time, it isn't busy. There is street parking available and also a parking lot nearby. The staff is super friendly and will be a big help when deciding what to order. This place is like a little coffee stand connected to a restaurant. There is some outdoor seating, but the indoors is closed off for a different venue. Overall, love this place and the seasonal drinks they have. If you don't know what to get beforehand, just ask the staff and check out the seasonal drinks when you get there.

This place is very cute, service was fine but I have never had a worse matcha in my 32 years of existence. Starbucks is better, and that is embarrassing. It tastes like milk, the green is so light- are they low on matcha powder or something? My vape has more flavor. Maybe their coffee is good but do not recommend getting a matcha.

So I made the trek over. Heads up: there's construction nearby, so parking was a struggle. Unfortunately, the visit ended up being a bit of a letdown. First off, they didn't have ice. I like my morning drinks iced, and I still ordered the bibingka latte, but it came without ice -- I ended up having to grab some from another restaurant since my work doesn't have a fridge. I was also excited for the longanisa sandwich, but they didn't have any hot sandwiches. What they did have was cheese rolls, a guava-filled ensaymada, and pandesal. The pastries were frozen, so he had to warm them up, which took a while. On the drink, I'd give it a 2.5/5. It was OK, but not something I'd order again. It was a balance of sweet and savory, with hints of rice flour and coconut milk -- but even ordering it less sweet, it still came out too sweet for me. The pastries were also just OK. My favorite of the bunch was the ensaymada. I really wanted to love this place given the concept, but between the missing ice, no hot sandwiches, and the frozen pastries, it didn't quite come together this visit.

I ordered the Cinnamon French Toast, and honestly it didn't really meet my expectations. It was a little too dry for me, and I was hoping it would be more soft and syrupy. That said, some of my friends really enjoyed what they ordered. The service itself was good though, the waiters checked on us often and were attentive throughout. They also brought out free birthday shots for the table, which was a fun and thoughtful touch.

The pho spices are strong and pair well with the refreshing cold brew. My favorite so far has been their double pandan latte at half sweetness. I don't know what robusta beans they use but the espresso is very well rounded. Told the barista that we don't like our drinks sweet and she adjusted it perfectly. We typically stay away from Vietnamese coffee because of the sugary condensed milk, so I love that they offer robusta espresso it in a latte option. Nice and strong, though not bitter. Bought a bag of their beans and it came with a free cup of drip or iced from that same bean. After browsing their selection of beans, I couldn't quite find the type of profile I like but there were a variety of profiles. I bought a bag for a gift for someone who might appreciate their shop style and profile. At the time of my visit there were no decaf beans available. Took advantage of taking the free iced coffee and was surprise of my sipping acceptwnc! RAW POWER - their mainstay coffee which has a profile of chocolate and orange. I had this as an iced coffee - straight up black with no added anything and I thought I'd hate it without anything but I enjoyed the ice coffee as black and plain. From here I could really taste the bean profile very clearly and indeed could find the chocolate and the orange, more the orange than the chocolate. I am not into acidity or tart when I take my lattes but I don't mind that orange flavor when I take an iced coffee. It was an inquiring taste!
