Hainam Chicken and rice only $10 so deeeelicios! The chicken pesto panini WoW so good it made my toes curl lol. My iced caramel latte made my other toes curl! The free blueberry muffin made me jump for jOy! It's kinda hard to find it's located across from McDonalds. Kudos to the Kitchen Chef!!!

Tried their viral "Breakfast Burrito." Had to wait 45 minutes for order, ordered croissant and Breakfast Sandwich. The sandwich was good, only confusing part was the Burger Bun, subbed the Thousand Island dressing for Mayo. The croissant was hard and not worth it. The burrito has no breakfast items, it comes with Chicken, white rice and cheese? The flavor is good but confused my expectations. Did not get a chance to try the drinks due to the 40 minute wait but will come back to do a second review as this place is so close. The previous business "Poppies" was def more on brand and fresh.

The $1 chicken taco was so delicious that I ended up getting another one! The $3.75 Spanish latte with cinnamon and condensed milk and at no extra charge for oat milk - my mind was blown by these low and affordable prices from not just pre-Covid- more like from the 90's! Lol This place is too good to be true ! I don't want to yelp about it because then everyone will come and prices will go up and there will be a long line. Small place, causal and with free street parking . There is seating inside although a bit limited.

I had a good experience at Yi's Cafe (Arcadia). I ordered the Tiramisu Latte ($4). I felt awake after sipping this silky, chill brew. Its aftertaste is reminiscent of dark chocolate. Honestly, the low price is baffling. CRAZY!! I arrived at Yi's Cafe (Arcadia) on Tuesday (around 12:55PM). Parking will require street parking. Fortunately, there's a nearby neighborhood with spots to park. Yi's Cafe (Arcadia) has awful visibility. It's extremely tiny, and it's hard to find even when searching. Staff is busy and efficient. Sudden waves of customers regularly appear, order, and vanish. There's almost a rabid scuffle as everyone took in the low affordable prices for such high quality coffee. Similar coffee could easily sell for $7+, yet all of the drinks are $4 or less!? CRAZY! My drink took about three minutes. Good time! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Tiramisu Latte ($4). This coffee carried a layered creaminess while capturing the essence of Tiramisu and a fresh roast. I appreciated the drink's strength and thoughtfulness. TASTY! Regarding ambiance, Yi's Cafe (Arcadia) is cramped & tiny. It felt like a big closet. It felt warm inside. There's two tiny interior counters, and there's two small patio tables. This is an order-and-leave spot. Still, there's some utility. There's customer internet; information is available by asking Staff. There's also one electrical outlet. There's no restroom, but there's two hand sanitizer bottles. The music also played very light pop music. Overall, I had a good experience at Yi's Cafe (Arcadia). The coffee is high-quality, and the prices are extremely low. I'd take advantage before these amazing prices increase. If you live nearby, you're ridiculously fortunate. I envy you. 4.8 out of 5.

#179 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. I don't know how their prices are so incredibly low but I'm here for it! A hot honey cinnamon latte with oatmilk was only $3.75! Like what?!! How is that even possible when the same drink runs between $7.50 to $9 everywhere else in SGV? And the latte was pretty good too. I went in thinking there was no way something a fraction of the typical price could taste as good, but I was pleasantly surprised. I went back and tried their seasonal Lovers Latte, made with vanilla, strawberry, and a hint of rose. Even with the milk substitution it was still only $4 - absolute insanity! This little gem of a coffee stand deserves so much love, and I hope they stay in business for years to come. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Yi's Cafe is a small cafe that's great for drinks and quick bites. The prices are fair and it's a good value. The location is also close to some schools so it's perfect for students too. There is really limited seating inside so it is best to take it to go. FOOD - I've tried the chicken rice and the tuna melt. I thought they were good, quick bites. SERVICE - Good and friendly PARKING - limited street parking (free).

Tiramisu Latte, Summer Sunrise, and Vietnamese Coffee

Maybe the best kept secret for coffee and an affordable lunch. We had 3 drinks and a pastry for $11 on a Sunday afternoon - which is a steal! We ordered a tiramisu latte, the summer sunrise, and Vietnamese coffee. The tiramisu latte is the star of the show. The sweetness is just right. The summer sunrise was way too sweet and the Vietnamese coffee tasted as if the coffee beans were burnt. I'm not complaining though because I needed the caffeine and the Vietnamese coffee delivered. They had a deal where you can get a pastry for free if your purchase goes over $10 so we got the blueberry muffin warmed up and it was soft and moist. Service is quick and friendly. Couldn't say too much for the ambiance because there was only one table outside and this feels more like a grab and go spot. Other than that, I am very happy and will come back to try their lunch specials! For the summer sunrise, I'm sure that if we asked to adjust the sweetness, they would have been happy to! Parking might be tricky but street parking could be light depending on time of day!

The ambiance was good. The wait wasn't long but there was only one guy working alone so be patient. He was nice and let us know food items weren't available due to kitchen problems that day so we couldn't try any. After we ordered and were waiting more people kept coming in so safe to say it's a coffee good shop. The drinks were really good the coffee didn't taste burnt, the mocha tasted like a proper mocha and the tiramisu was really good too. Both for under $10 definitely recommend overall.

What a gem of a place with unbelievable prices! Quaint little cafe with some delicious food. Baked goods were hot and fresh. The chocolate and blueberry muffin were devoured before realizing no pictures were taken. The Hainan chicken rice and burrito are definitely the reasons we'll be coming back. So simple but done so right. The extra carbs were worth it.

This small cafe is such a gem. The prices can't be beat for the quality of food and drinks they serve! The small breakfast burrito was the perfect size for a quick snack (they have 2 sizes). The tiramisu latte was the highlight of my day. The employee that took my order was quick and friendly. He made me drink so fast and it came out so delicious! Finding a $4 iced latte in this economy is insane. I had a friend recommend this cafe to me a while ago and I finally found the chance to be able to go try it. It did not disappoint at all. It's a hole in the wall spot so there's only street parking available. There was only one guy working at the time and he was very patient and welcoming. We got a tiramisu latte, caramel frappe, and a banana pound cake. The total came out to be about $10. I think that's an absolute steal. The tiramisu latte was a bit on the sweeter side for me but it was still delicious. The caramel frappe was equally as delicious and icy. The banana pound cake was so yummy. I'm not sure if they rotate out their pastries but if it's available again, I'm definitely getting more. It was buttery and crumbly with a strong banana flavor in it. I've been seeing a lot of reviews about the food and I'm definitely coming back to try those!

This little cafe is a local hidden gem in Arcadia! You cannot beat their prices anywhere else. Lattes are under $4 and they use real espresso! My go to is the honey cinnamon latte and its better than some of the coffee shops that charge more than double! This is definitely a order and takeout place but there are a few chairs outside. I'm curious to go back to try their food too! Their whole menu is affordable which is amazing!

Yi's Cafe is your low key no frills neighborhood coffee shop that's here to serve you a good cup of coffee without gouging your wallet. Each cup is freshly brewed and made to order and they don't up charge for oatmilk. They also offer pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and other quick bites. Their service is always quick and friendly. Cute little place right across from the Dollar Tree. The prices can't be beat! And the food was good too. The whipped coffee was my favorite. Will have to go back for that. This little hole in the wall was such a good find. Tucked into the part of Arcadia past the 210 freeway, the shop was filled with people by the time we got our order. Our drinks came out within 5 minutes after ordering, the guy who took our order was also making it. Tiramisu latte tasted very much like I was biting into a tiramisu with the cream top being mascarpone and the heavy dusting of cocoa powder. Perfection! Though we would've preferred the Dalgona whipped coffee to be slightly stronger. Just give it a really good mix before you take a sip! We really can't complain when the coffee is $4!! Also got a homemade blueberry muffin, can't beat the price of $1.75 . We'd go here again to try other drinks and other pastries, maybe their sandwiches as well. The parking isn't hard to find either, it was a Sunday and the lot in the back had a couple spots open. There's also parking on the street nearby. Amazing find overall! read more

Found this place on my way back from a hike today and WOW! This place is a gem! The prices were unbelievable and everything was delicious! Had a dirty chai latte, blueberry muffin and chicken pesto panini and everything was fresh and yummy! Wish I had pictures but everything was inhaled fairly quickly. Interior- There is no interior. Whole place is size of my master bathroom. Outside had one table set up. Food- Blueberry muffin was semi-sweet and was loaded with plump fruit. Excellent. Cream cheese pastry - flaky and decent. Coffee- We got Cafe Americano. Utterly waste of money. Weak, watery, no expresso flavors. read more

I am sorry to say the Hainan Chicken rice is not something I will recommend at all, even with that amazing price. Especially if you are specifically looking for that, it is really far from what it is. However, the blueberry muffin will be something out of this world. By far the best muffin out there! Amazing cafe with shockingly great prices and DELICIOUS drinks. I noticed this place opened up near me, and when I saw the prices I could not believe my eyes. $4 for coffees and other wonderful drinks!! The matcha is so good and I love the tiramisu latte too. I have tried many other cafes and this has got to be my favorite. I always leave a tip when I visit because for prices like these, they deserve tips. The pastries and sandwiches are also so so delicious. My favorite are the muffins and spinach danish. This is my first ever review and i'm not a yelp person so you know that says a lot. Love the Hainan Chicken clean simple steamed dish. Addicted to the spicy chai latte! it's the best Chai latte I have ever had in the US! Taste just like Chai tea in India. I got the iced caramel latte and lychee lemonade. Service was fast, and the drinks are pretty affordable at $3.75 each. The latte was a bit too milky for my taste, and the syrup in both drinks settled at the bottom. I would've preferred if they had been mixed beforehand. The straws were also a bit flimsy, which made it hard to stir. Still, not bad for a little pick-me-up. read more

Hidden Gem!! Cute little family owned cafe on Foothill. Feels really casual. There's a table outside, but it's mostly grab and go. The drinks and food here are excellent. I had the Dalgona Coffee and my wife had the Vietnamese Coffee, both the right balance of sweet and coffee. The prices for each item is even better. You can't get these prices anywhere now a days... 4 dollars for drinks and 5-6 bucks for food menu items. You really can't beat that in a lot of places. The quality of the food is really good too. I found out they make a Korean ramen with house made soup base. That sounds so good for a cheap and satisfying meal. read more

3 spinach danishes, 1 chocolate danish and a vanilla latte--all for $11.25! The danishes are crispy and perfectly light for a morning breakfast and the latte is not bitter at all, but I do recommend getting an extra shot to really boost that coffee flavor. This might be the most bang for your buck place in the SGV. $4 coffees, $5 sandwiches. The quality is good. My only complaint is the ham and cheese croissant. There was only one piece of ham so you couldn't really taste the ham, just the croissant. I know it's only $2.50, but I'd rather pay $4 for more ham and cheese slices. My favorite is the hainan chicken. The flavors are lovely, the rice is cooked perfectly and it's only $10. The place is small, but there are some outdoor bar tables. The service was quick and the two guys working were really kind. read more

My husband and I were visiting Acadia and I was craving coffee first thing. I was so glad we found this cozy little cafe! The employee was so kind with explaining all the drinks. I ordered a Spanish Latte, which has condensed milk and cinnamon. My husband ordered the Sunshine drink and a chicken pesto panini. Everything tasted excellent! They seem to also do holiday "packages," as well. We came around Valentine's Day, and they were having this special that included a bouquet, a balloon, and drinks. And if you're not feeling coffee, they also sell bottled drinks and ice cream. We're definitely coming back the next time we're near Acadia. read more

We love Yi's Cafe. I love supporting a small local business. My daughter's favorite is the chicken pesto Panini, she could not stop talking about it. My husband and I come in frequently for lattes, especially the Spanish latte, so delish. And the homemade baked goods, became a baker so he could serve his community and his muffins and pastries don't disappoint. There's always a lunch special of chicken and something for $10 and it smells so good in the morning when they're cooking that up. Owner Eric and his son Tristan are always warm and welcoming even at 7 AM on a Sunday! Check it out you won't be sorry. Adding that I am drinking a latte right now and it's just a regular latte with whole milk and oh my goodness seriously why are their lattes so good? It's so creamy, no bitterness, waking me up but also so comforting on a cold morning! read more

A cute hole in the wall that we cannot get enough -- my family and I are regulars and the way they make the coffees is fantastic. Every coffee we had so far is amazing -- our favorites have been tiramisu, Dalgona, Matcha, and Mocha. However everything is SO GOOD. You will not go wrong with anything you order. The owner makes the coffee so fast and not too hot (where it's burns your tongue and that it's not drinkable. It's perfect temperature to immediately enjoy). He has been so kind to us and we always are here a few days of the week. And for the deal, INCREDIBLE. read more

Super tasty, super friendly service, and super affordable. Tiramisu latte tasted just like a tiramisu. Dalgona coffee was very tasty as well, but recommend mixing it up. Hainan chicken was a big portion and served pipping hot and flavorful. Pastries were tasty though a little dry, but they were free which was greatly appreciated! The chocolate chip banana muffin was our favorite of the ones we tried. read more

Writing this as I sip on a subpar latte from an up and coming coffee shop chain & I'm thinking hard...where have I gone recently where the espresso/lattes were Top Notch?! Yi's Cafe!! I don't drink coffee/espresso daily so I can really taste the quality of the beans when I do and the beans used here are bold and flavorful! The drinks are not overly sugary but subtle & delicious. Then add the affordability! My son and I got 2 drinks and 4 pastries for under $15. (I think it's buy 2 or 3, get 1 free). No other place has these amazing prices, quality of food/drink, and customer service. It's worth the stop! read more

I've been coming to Yi's Cafe in Arcadia for months now, and I honestly can't believe I can still get a delicious coffee for $3.75. In a world where coffee can easily cost $9-10 (and not even taste that great), this place is such a gem. The quality is amazing!!! smooth, flavorful, and always consistent. My go-to order is a vanilla iced latte with whole milk and cinnamon powder, and the owner already knows it by heart. What I love even more is seeing him greet so many customers the same way & remembering their orders and treating everyone like a regular. It truly feels like a community spot. My husband loves this place too. We live in Whittier, and anytime we're in the area or when I'm at work in Arcadia. I always try to stop by. I'm big on supporting local businesses, especially ones that are this friendly and budget-friendly. They absolutely deserve the tips and the support. I couldn't recommend Yi's Cafe more. It's perfect for a quick bite or drink on the go; not exactly the spot to kick back and lounge, so just a heads-up to future visitors. Still, I'd happily come back again and again. The cashier and owner are both incredibly warm and welcoming. They're impressively efficient, from the speed and precision with which they whipped up drinks for me and a group of WAVES customers that came in after was seriously impressive. Yi's Cafe is an absolute must-visit in Arcadia! I'm so glad we stopped by. This place checks all the boxes: fantastic food, great drinks, incredible service, and it's all super budget-friendly. We came for lunch and ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice, and it was absolutely spectacular. The chicken was cooked perfectly--so tender and juicy--and the rice was fragrant and full of flavor. A solid 10/10 dish. We also tried a couple of their drinks. The Peach Lemon Soda was bubbly and refreshing, and the Dalgona Coffee was a perfect, creamy treat. But the most impressive part? The service! The owner makes the drinks, and he is lightning fast. I'm not exaggerating--I'm pretty sure he could beat any Starbucks barista in a speed competition.
