Got here on 7:40 and the store was closed even though online it said they were open and closed at nine:( there was no explanation as to why they were closed but there were four girls inside that seemed to be laughing at us trying to get in (I could have read their reaction wrong). Quite disappointing considering i was exited to get some yogurt, likely won't return--the reaction was just off putting. read more

This used to be my favorite Yogurtland to go to. I went today after craving some despite it being cold and rainy. It was upsetting to find out they have a $3 min charge, even if you pay cash. I usually get $2-$2.50 worth each time I go. I will definitely will be inquiring with corporate to see why did this policy change :( read more

Update: I followed up by going to the email the manager commented on this post. Zero response back. Emailed corporate. Zero response back. I had no idea yogurtland operated with zero oversight. Very scary. I see why this place is low rated. By far the worst experience Ive had ever getting frozen yogurt. I come to this location regularly as I shop at whole foods regularly. I am probably one of their best customers. Never complained about this location having the highest prices. I used to work at yogurtland years ago so it brings back nostalgia. I go in today like normal. Grab a sample cup to try the two new flavors I see and the the older woman is giving me this look like Im robbing the place. I ask her "is everything ok" she shrugs her shoulders and ignores me but she continues to give me these very emotional looks. I ask her again "is there a problem" it is ver awkward and uncomfortable at this point. She hesitantly half mumbles that she thinks that the last time I was in there I grabbed fee samples and left. This older woman obviously had some form of early dementia because Im one of their best customers. I have financial records to prove it . So I kindly explain to her that she is mistaken, I reminded her that I was the guy with the dog and that my dog had gotten his loose and i simply walked outside to tie him back up. I then promptly returned into the store to purchase some yogurt. She even comes outside while Im eating my yogurt with my dog and asks me if my dog needs water. She then looks shocked because I obviously help her remind her who i was and at that point she felt really stupid, at least she should have. She then cowardly mumbled an apology under her breathe. I said that is not a very professional or friendly way to treat a customer. Very politely. She then turned her back on me and walked away. I said excuse me, thats how you treat a customer? You just turn you back on them. She then sharply told me "she apologized and that she didn't want me to upset with her" i said "excuse me, you started this not me lol" she then turned her back again and walked away. Then she tells me shes the owner (which completely shocked me) and thayve been having problems with free samples. #1 This place is located in one of the wealthies lowest crime areas in the nation. #2 My vegan girlfriemd has gone in their many times to see if their is a flavor she likes before she bought anything. #3 Why have the sample cups literally out in front where anyone can grab one. Regardless you dont treat humans like that and you certainly dont treat your best customers like that. So many clueless business owners with zero sense when it comes to basic customer service. Done with this location and maybe yogurtlanf all together since they dont seem to have a customer service line that works. Also the machines usually are not all working. So make sure to get a sample first. Otherwise you can end up with a melted mess. read more

This place is great. By far my favorite FroYo in North County. I'll drive a couple exits just to get me some Yogurtland! I love that I am able to customize this anyway I want. I typically get 2-3 flavors then overload the froyo with toppings. Just be careful as the price can add up fast when your eyes become bigger gab your stomach. This review is long overdue. Phenomenal! I was so ecstatic when I heard that. Yogurtland was opening in Del Mar! No more driving to Mira Mesa! I love Yogurtland, and this branch lives up to most of my expectations. The decor of the place is minimalisticcontemporary, going along with the hip vibe of the froyo craze in recent years. The place is a bit small though, but there's outdoor seating for hot summer days. My favorite flavor so far is Root Beer Float, a summer specialty that can be found throughout the franchise. It's a perfect root beer fizz with the creaminess of vanilla froyo. The coconut flavor is also rich and flavorful, very similar to what coconut whites taste like (: One thing I love about Yogurtland is the price. 35 cents/oz for yogurt? If you do the math, that's 9 cents cheaper than the across-the-street competiton Swirls, equally a ton of additional yogurt and toppings in your tummy. I hope this Yogrurtland will have Taro and Green Tea as a somewhat regular flavor. Oh, and red beans as a regular topping would bump this up to a five, but this location is within a predominantly white area in comparison to the Mira Mesa location. But hey, the influx of Asians in neighboring areas will greatly appreciate it! Workers at Yogurtland are always nice. Check-in and get a free 3oz! read more

I like this location a lot, mainly because it's convenient to my house. It is a bit smaller than other locations but that is probably due to the shopping center, not the business. Yogurtland is my personal favorite among froyo joints. I love the quality, the friendly service, and the great toppings. Now that they have the bubble bursts, it's even better. read more

I'm only giving it a 2 stars because of how stingy the workers are. As you know, you pay based on the weight of your yogurt and the workers there fill your cup for you. The employees don't actually stop when you tell them to stop filling the cup and the employees give an extra scoop every time you ask for toppings. It's great that they're being extra safe but this is the first Yogurtland I've been to where the staff members fill in the cups for you. The sign on the door said it was open until 11. At 10:25 the doors were locked and the location was closed. 2017 is full of enough heartbreak already. I don't need more from Yogurtland. I recently returned from feeding hungry children in Africa for two years due to my father suddenly taking ill. I made it to his bedside when he had mere minutes to live, and his dying words to me were "get some Yogurtland for me, son. Get some Yogurtland for me." I spent the next two weeks meditating in the desert, and when I emerged, I knew exactly what I had to do. But when I finally reached the doors, they were closed 35 minutes early. Most (all) of the above might be a complete fabrication, but seriously, if your hours say 11pm, stay open until 11pm. read more

Tina the "manager" who I am assuming is the franchisee was not very accommodating and the kid working the register Devon was really not that bright. Oh 'em gee, I had the best experience today at Yogurtland Del Mar! I come in every so often to get my dessert fix and today I was greeted by the sweetest girls, Kate and Mea, who were incredibly helpful! They seemed to really enjoy their job and helped explain the different flavors to me! I was a little overwhelmed at first with the amazing assortment of flavors and toppings, but these wonderful young ladies helped me sample some of my options. I wished I could get them all they were all so tasty! But I ended up getting the Churro and it is absolutely amazing, I recommend it. Props to whoever does the hiring here because these employees are the nicest!! Will be coming back soon! I'm enjoying my yogurt watching the sunset tonight, and it is just absolutely LOVELY! Came on a Sunday night at 7pm, less than half the machines were working. I'm sure it's a great place when everything is working but when 2/3 of the machines aren't in operation it really limits the experience. The employee wasn't really helpful and was surprised himself when machines that didn't have the out of order sign weren't working either. There was a lot of toppings with empty trays and not much organization. Honestly just wasn't that great of an experience but 2 stars because the little froyo I did get was pretty good. read more

This will be my first ever review on yelp, and I just wanna say that this Yogurtland was pretty decent when I went yesterday. The overall interior of the building was extremely clean and vibrant. The place had various types of yogurt and delicious toppings (mochi, cookies, wafers, candies, etc) that seems to be endless. I filled my cup to the brim with all sorts of delectables and I throughly enjoyed all of it. The service of the employee handled my purchase in a brief exchange, although the male employee had a soft tone that made him sort of hard to hear, but regardless of that fact, all it comes down is whether the service was friendly and had a positive attitude, which he did. Since its the time of summer I highly recommend to stop by this place to pick up some nice, cold, treats to cool off that summer heat :D read more

This place is located in a very busy shopping center with limited parking, so it may be hard to get to. What is not to love about Yogurtland? After playing 36 holes of mini golf at Pelly's down the street, we all wanted something sweet and decided that Yogurtland was in our immediate future. We drove as fast as we could here and found that parking in this little shopping center wasn't too bad. It looks worse than it really is. Fast forward to the FROYO madness inside! Since this was after lunch time on a Monday, it was deader than dead. I seriously thought we had the store to ourselves until someone came out of the back. They were friendly and handed out sample cups. It was very clean inside and that made me happy. They had White Chocolate Peppermint there and yes, it tasted as good as it sounds! Went here last night, the machines were a mess, some were almost out. The young man working the front register didn't even greet you as you came in, when I told him about the flavors being almost empty, because they were very slow coming out he ignored me. You could tell the young man working there didn't care to be there or what the customers had to say. He was not friendly at all, he even said are you gong to pay?? When we were waiting for him to tell us the total of the yogurt. He refused to take my moms $50 cash , she asked why when the total was around $44. He said it was yogurt land policy not to take $50 bills, and so she had to go next door to whole food to get change. He was very rude about it. He threw the spoons in the bags and they fell on the counter top and the spoon rack looked filthy. They don't do a good job maintaining the cleanliness of the topping area and the yogurt spout area. I was just shocked how the employee was so rude over taking the cash payment and how he gave an attitude and said "are you going to pay"!! He had poor customer services skills and you could tell with his mannerism and attitude that he just really hated being working there last night. read more
