Came here for a snack yesterday with my 2 young sons. The yogurt and topping selection is great, however the customer service is lacking. My sons finished their yogurt, and went to the front counter to ask for some lids. The young man working there was very rude to them. They waited their turn and asked him politely for a lid three times and he continued to ignore them. What kind of person does this? Then, a nice lady who was also in line heard them and just reached behind the counter and grabbed the lids because she saw how this worker was ignoring them. Whoever is responsible for hiring employees at this location needs to better train them or get rid of this young guy who who has no work ethic or regard for children. Was craving Yogurtland for a while and was excited for the fresh quality and condiments to find out I spent $30 for two small cups that weren't even filled to the rim. Yogurtland isn't bad. It's not the best yogurt around, but they're everywhere and you always know what you are going to get. This location is the closest yogurt place to my house so I always end up here. They have a typical 16 different flavors, but don't get new ones as often as I'd hope. There is a nice array of toppings, and it's cheap. This particular location is perfect for a little dessert after you eat at one of the many restaurants it's located next to. If you are coming just for yogurt, then I'd avoid lunch and dinner times as you'll probably end up parking pretty far away and having to walk a bit (not that that's the end of the world or anything). Some if my favorite flavors are Pistachio and Vanilla Cream and Wafers. If you are a fan of coconut, then definitely go for that. read more

There weren't any customers in here yet the employees were filling a bunch of cups with yogurt while we stood behind them. They didn't stop what they were doing and we had to wait a while before they stopped to let us go. The fruit was really gross and had fruit flies all over it. All the toppings did also. The inside of the store is nice and clean and the staff is helpful and friendly even laying out the "try me" cups so you don't even have to ask. What a bad experience with this 4 star place. We sat at the table and got up to get more yogurt because our kids wanted more. One couple took over and threw away our food. We confronted them and they got loud so we argued and told them that they got no rights to throw our stuffs away when my kids toys was on the table. Out of no where, on of your employee name Brandon gave me a mean face and told me to get out of the store. He told us that we were loud when the other white old couple kept yelling and point finger at us. They knew that they took the table by mistake. Even the older guy told my wife to get out. What right does he has to tell us that? And We told Brandon that the are loud why don't you tell them. He did not even bother and still maintain his expresion toward us. Why? This guy is targeting us because we are Asian and they are white. We felt discriminated. I confronted him he did not even care telling the other couple. This place needs to have some kind of management onsite to handle situation. Don't let the incapable teenager run your store. I agree with may of the others comments. They have closed the restroom down and told me to go to Panda Express or H2O poke. All I needed was to wash my hands after touching the sticky self serve handles. Then I asked for hand sanitizer. None! How can you run a store with high touch surfaces and food and not have a way to clean hands prior to eating. Also note I have seen the managers response to low star comments and tried to send an e-mail to the address in the response but it is never a complete e-mail address. Yogurt is still really good, but they NEVER change the flavors. I mean I always get the same thing anyway, but I do like to have the option to change and try something new and fun, but on any given day it is like 14 of the same old flavors (and last night had 3 variations on chocolate, which doesn't really seems all that different to me) and 2 fun feature flavors. More importantly, I am not a fan of how they changed the way they slice their strawberries. It used to be they were diced, which meant more little bites of strawberries in each bite of yogurt. Now they are just cut in half and so it makes it harder to eat. They didn't have any fresh raspberries the last few times either. read more

I was sooo wrong! This is fabulous! I always thought places like this or pinkberry would be too over priced and expensive. So wrong and waaay worth every penny. The froyo may not be the best thing under the sun, but the toppings are so cool. What makes this better than other places is that you put the toppings on your yogurt yourself. I personally love a dozen different toppings and every foryo flavor in my cup. A little taste of everything. The older more traditional places become more expensive if you want any toppings at all. I use to go to the Yogurtland on Jeffrey, but I was so happy when this one opened because it's down the street from my house. I try to be adventurous and try all the different flavors, but I usually get pistachio with mangos, lychee, strawberries, & a lil' captain crunch =) The parking lot layout sucks, but that's just me being picky. I certainly would have given this dessert shop at least 4 stars prior to January 26, 2011. On January 26th, we had bad product and service. Wrote to corporate about it, and although they were stellar in addressing the situation, their compensation was laughable. Here's the letter I sent to corporate: That night my girlfriend and I decided to top our great evening at the movies in Irvine with our favorite dessert of late, Yogurtland. Unfortunately, we were disappointed (that night)in the product we received along with the cost, and felt we needed to write to you about it. We've been on a Yogurtland "kick" for the last two weeks, frequenting either the shop on Newport Avenue in Tustin, CA or Jamboree Road, Irvine, CA every night. We felt it was a great value for the money and gave us a nice treat without breaking the bank. So last night we went in around 11:30pm in the Marketplace Irvine shop, knowing the shop closed at midnight. The employees were busy cleaning up the place. All the condiments were put away. That was OK to us, we wanted just the yogurt anyway. The yogurt was not its usual consistency. Actually it was like they turned off the chillers or something. It was almost flat and watery. Then, the employee said, "cash only, no credit cards, we closed the register", which was fine as well. Also, we never got a receipt, so where did the money go? Our next biggest complaint was the measurement of the product. Since we've frequented the place so often, we've gotten pretty good at guessing the cost/weight of our yogurt. He weighed our 2 cups and said, "Four dollars". There was no way we had 4 dollars worth of product in those cups. I wasn't going to argue with him right there, but I went home with the product and weighed the cups myself. WITH THE CUPS, it weighed no more than 12 ounces, which would bring the cost to $3.60. The cups alone weighed about 1/2 an ounce, so I always wondered if that was "zeroed" out in the weighing of the yogurt. I feel if they are going to remain open to serve customers at that late hour, they should at least have their main product up to par, and charge properly! Ok, that was the letter to corporate headquarters in Anaheim. Kudos to them for corresponding quickly to my letter, and asking for an address to send compensation. So far so good. Ok, here's the kicker. Compensation was a card entitling us to all of 3 OUNCES OF PRODUCT! Woohoo! NINETY CENTS WORTH OF YOGURT! Remember now, two of us had a bad experience. For now, my taste for Yogurtland has soured. read more

Can't believe I'm reviewing yet another Yogurtland (I've probably set a new record here with the number of Yogurtlands I've visited in my lifetime), but I give this one extra stars because I really love tart flavors....and they have a Yuzu fruit tart flavor that I've never been able to find at any other location! Yuzu is basically a fruit that has subtle hints of lemon and mandarin orange flavors. It's my new favorite flavor!!! Clean location. Good flavors. It had pumpkin pie and graham cracker, which was awesome since it had that cinnamon kick. In general, I don't like Yogurtland because it has HFCs, and don't be fooled. "No Added Sugar" just means they use HFCs and other strange sugar subs. Anyways, what bothers me is that their toppings are made in such a way that your cup of yo is much heavier. The strawberries were cut into halves instead of slices, and they didn't look super duper fresh. Banana "slices" were more like big banana chunks, and brownies were huge, not cut up into bite-sized pieces. In other words, if you want a little brownie, you have to get A LOT, meaning you pay more. Pinkberry doesn't have any HFCs in either their yogurt or toppings, and it tastes more real, if that makes sense. Anyways, my point is: Yogurtland is just a good place for stopping by if you're not around the District, where Pinkberry is. read more

At this Yogurtland, the employees here are nice. They have a large selection of flavors available and some promotional keychains for Kung Fu Panda available at the front. The procedure here is the same as other froyo places: fill up and pay based on weight. There was no traffic when we came here last but it piled up in the afternoon. When one eats here and wants to use a promotion that is only dictated on the windows, one should get as much clarification about it as possible. A previous window-based offer here was a discount on Mondays, but said discount was not valid on holidays with no fine print dictating it (said poster was updated to include that information after that experience). (It's not available anymore but it stuck in my eidetic memory.) Additionally, for the limitless $5 cup promotional day which was dictated on the door, the size of the cup was not dictated properly. They have a buy one get one 50% off coupon on the Irvine Company website. (One might want to confirm if it is useable before buying the yogurt.) read more

Incredibly disappointing, walked in last night around 11:35 last night, all the toppings were covered up in plastic and all the fruits were put away. We got our yogurt and headed over to the toppings section and we asked if we could get our toppings and they said no. We weren't even told this before getting our yogurt we had to ask and still they said no. Meanwhile theirs still 25 minutes till closing. So we paid 16$ for the plain frozen yogurt with no toppings as we can see the toppings in point of view with just plastic wrap over. Also they had just mopped the floor and it was completely wet, with no wet floor sign present. That's a safety hazard already bound to happen, once we left we seen 3 other groups pull in and get frozen yogurt who knows all the money they missed out on because the employees were to lazy to re wrap the toppings again, such a disappointment. I'm biased and will forever be faithful to America's Cup in Costa Mesa. The one on 17th, not the one on Harbor (even though they are owned by the same person - I'm crazy, I know). BUT, since I live in Tustin, and need a place to satisfy my frozen yogurt cravings, this Yogurtland will do just fine :) It's usually clean, so that's a plus. The staff is usually helpful, I mean it's hard to find high schoolers who care deeply about their jobs. Usually their friends are sitting at the front table and they are chatting it up while working and helping customers at the same time. And there is usually somewhere to sit. I love this place! I come here a few times a week and the place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They have a good selection of fro-yo, but i still wish they carried more. Sometime's i'll get hooked on a flavor and then... poof! it's gone! More flavors please! Anyway, I usually get the tart and some fruity kind of fro-yo (passion fruit lately) with the mango boba balls. Sooo YUM! Boo! (not in the Halloween meaning...) I went there about an hour ago. Hot, sunny day so it seemed perfect. Got the sorbet and piled on a bunch of fruit - perfect for this weather. Went to put on the mango and raspberry syrups but they were gone! Only chocolate and caramel - which were not at all matching what I wanted. I asked for woman at the counter and she said the owner removed those flavors because they weren't being used much. How much do a couple of squeeze bottles of syrup cost? I hope they realize their mistake and put these back. I'll still probably go back there when I'm in a chocolate mood. read more

By no means should this be considered a negative review, it is just that we are talking yogurt shop and since the yogurt is not transcendental, it gets the perfectly acceptable 3 star review benefitting of your typical froyo joint. Yogurt land has many flavors and most are very good. Standouts are brownie batter, peanut butter cookies, oatmeal cookie and pistachio. Their tart flavors are not among the best. Toppings are plentiful and look fresh, taste fresh. The layout is almost always a nightmare to navigate and this location is always packed.
