However, during my visit today, I not only had to practically beg the staff member behind the counter for more than one sample cup, but when I went to check out, I was stunned to see how much the prices had increased. My purchase came to $7, which seemed excessive. Out of curiosity, I went home and weighed it, only to find it was barely over 7 ounces of frozen yogurt. While I understand that costs are rising across the board, this is the first time in a long while that I genuinely feel I'm being taken advantage of as a customer. Horrendous experience, multiple times In a row. Yogurtland used to be this fun, delicious experience but this location makes me never want to go into a yougurtland again. If i could overlook the dirt and grime everywhere (a huge turn off!) I can't overlook the insanely rude, hostile employee. I've come in on weekday evenings so I have multiple experiences with this person. There's no one in the front behind the register as you come in so you just sort of stand there and then he comes out and glares at you as if you've trespassed into his private lair and you're the biggest nuisance in existence. The last time I came in he literally said several disparaging things and insults towards me under his breath. It's wild that this is happening tbh. Anyway, this is weho, people can and should be whoever they want to be but perhaps don't choose to work in a colorful "happy" yogurt shop if your vibe is goth and you hate people. We came for buy one get one free on 4/06 at 8:30 pm and the store was packed. Suddenly while everyone in the room has their cups filled up the employee says the deal is off because of "supplies". Which made no sense because everyone had their cups filled. This store should have closed early in anticipation for this deal or after seeing how much business they got during the day. I had been coming here at least once week for three years with my partner. We broke up and I took a few months off from going so I just went back for the first time in maybe two months yesterday and I think it was my last time. The prices have gone up an insane amount. I asked if the weight machine was working because it was that ridiculous. On top of that it wasn't until after I started getting some that she told me two flavors I wanted were actually out. I asked if they'd be back on if I came back in half an hour and she said they are not having birthday cake at all? But signage is still up.. fine I just stick with the tart only but the one topping I get is the chocolate shell and they don't have it anymore. I tried asking if it's just out but she just kept staring at me and offering me chocolate sprinkles. And then, the price is already insane and twice what it used be, yet they've added the dreaded 'what tip to add' on the tablet with the lowest percentage being set to 20%. Why am I tipping for self service? Especially in a city where minimum wage is $22/hour. This worker was unhelpful and awful. At least I was able to hit skip. She then was weird about giving me a top and bag though. I hated the entire experience and am just really disappointed. This spot was never perfect but now it's just not worth it anymore. There's another frozen yogurt place down the street near Hollywood burger, I haven't tried it because they were more expensive and fancy but funny enough they are now the same so I'll give them a shot. I will say, I'm not letting this location ruin Yogurtland completely. And I did have good experiences for three years so if this location lowers its prices again, I'd be happy to return and reconsider. read more

I recently visited this location of Yogurtland to give myself a Halloween treat. Even though parts of Santa Monica Blvd were shut down for the Carnival, thankfully the adjoining parking lot was easily accessible. This store is on the smaller side and the flavor selection is smaller as well, I was able to get myself a pumpkin cheesecake swirl with ease. Yet again Yogurtland is closed at 9pm when their online profile says they close at 10p and even though their sign on the front door says 9:30p. It's not enough that the employees here act completely indifferent to customers when they are open, the employees need to close the shop early. There was a family of 6 people who were walking up to the door at the same time I was. So much business lost to employees closing early. If you want to close at 9pm or earlier then CHANGE THE HOURS ON YOUR SIGN!!!!!!! You are wasting your customer's time by misrepresenting your hours. This happens all the time and it's maddening. Given that Yogurtland is a franchise operation I'm reporting the continued misrepresenting of hours to corporate. If customers complaints don't mean anything to you, maybe corporate's thoughts will. This location charges double. It may be the rent at century city, but should be made clearer. They charge double, don't allow self samples, and don't allow free sauce toppings. I topped mine with fruits (strawberries, blueberries and mango), almonds and fruity pebbles cereal for $5.20. I'd probably skip the strawberries and mango next time because they do not slice the fruit small enough to enjoy on top of yogurt. Fruit chunks are way too big but the blueberries pair nicely. I came into use my birthday freebie, but since they are taking Covid precautions, the lady in the store helped me get my yogurt.
