My friends and I have been excited to try Yoritofu since it first opened. We arrived for lunch on a Monday right when they opened at 11. It's very clean and spacious inside and there is outdoor dining as well. The three of us shared the corn cheese, creamy perilla acorn noodles, seafood scallion pancake, and crystal bite. I ordered the iced hibiscus tea. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the seafood pancake and the crystal bites. Service was attentive and the lady was super nice. I look forward to returning and I hope they become a South Bay staple Parking is shared in the plaza. They're located in the corner next to Starbucks but plenty of parking if you don't find anything directly in front of them

Went to Yoritofu for the 2nd time. 1st time, I found couple of dishes to be too sweet but this time, everything we ordered were delicious! The server lady was super kind and helpful with recommending dishes. Clean, lots of tables, nice outdoor seating area.. you do have to fight for parking with Starbucks.. good price for Korean food. Generous portions, I had plenty of leftovers... We loved the spicy squid bokkum, cheese corn, thin brisket with sprouts, and crystal bite dumplings (interesting texture). We've seen many restaurants come and go in this location... I'm very hopeful that they're here to stay!!

I really wanted to love this restaurant--certain dishes were great but soon tofu was okay so giving 3.5 stars. +located in same plaza as marugame udon, board & brew but on the other side of plaza next to Starbucks. +seat yourself type restaurant (or at least when we went). Was able to walk right in on Sunday night dinner hour. +we loved that the restaurant has variety of dishes! They serve everything from appetizers, bar food, various soups, meat dishes and more. +We ordered kimchi pancake with cheese, crystal dumplings, soon tofu, and beef tripe soup. We enjoyed kimchi cheese pancake throughly (hard to mess that up imo) and their crystal dumplings was so good! It's regular Korean style dumpling fillings but the wrap is made out of potato starch and it's like a dim sum wrap, which compliments the dumpling filling so well. Would love to eat these dishes again +all of their banchans were solid as well! +they have brown rice option for extra $2 which is awesome -only one waitress and one busboy so service can be slow when it's peak dinner hour but they're both super sweet! -I ordered extra spicy soontofu and I lovedddd how spicy they can make it but the soup base wasnt my cup of tea. It has depth in broth so it's good but I'd prefer to go to Gaya for soon tofu. My boyfriend said his beef tripe soup was flavorless though which was a huge disappointment We'd like to give yoritofu one more try and try other things on the menu!

Came with a Korean friend. Everything including the banchans tasted great and very authentic. 5 stars for the seafood pancake- thick, satisfying with lots of seafood in every bite. 4 stars for the spicy squid noodle. Prices on the high side (beef short rib soup for $68 and that's for one person.) Location is hard to find but it's in a big plaza facing Torrance Blvd.

Food-mediocre. Ordered beef soondubu and it was okay. I'd eat it again but have definitely had better. I did like that there were onions and zucchini but I'm not sure that was specified on the menu. Our table also ordered the original fried chicken. It was crispy but there was absolutely no seasoning at all lol. Food came with rice, side dishes and a small salad. My soondubu came with a pack of dried seaweed but it seemed a bit stale. Service-extremely slow and inefficient. It takes them forever to get you what you ask for even when there aren't that that many customers which was a bit of a frustrating experience :(

Back at Yoritofu for a second time and now I am a Yelp regular ;). For my second visit here I got to try their soon tofu. At $17 their soon tofu is a little bit pricier than some of the other Korean restaurants the area. Nevertheless I saw they also had other choices for the protein for the soon tofu. It was my first time seeing beef tripe as well as sausage and ham as options. I was tempted to get the sausage and ham but opted to get dumplings. I got the soon tofu with no spice (white). It was a light, comforting broth that was perfect for the evening. It was very gentle flavoring without the spice. The dumplings paired well with the soup. They enhanced the umami of the broth and added a bit of texture. Overall I enjoyed this soon tofu. Aside from the soon tofu, I also got a side of their Steamed Egg ($12). The steamed egg was so soft and fluffy. With its delicate and airy texture, it perfectly complimented the soft tofu and savory dumplings. Last but not least, I enjoyed their complimentary banchan. For this second visit, I noticed they had slightly different banchan sides. This time they had fish cake, coleslaw, kimchi and radish . The coleslaw was a rich, creamy surprise. I enjoyed my second meal at Yoritofu and was happy to try other some other dishes during this visit.

Ambiance: it's a spacious and clean Korean restaurant, they also have a large outdoor patio area Service: friendly but slow, it took a while to place the order and receive food, when it wasn't during busy hours Food: their menu has plenty items for comfort food Banchan - *** house salad, and few other side dishes Soon Tofu - *** Silken tofu stew served bubbling hot in a stone pot, choices of white rice, seafood mix, and spicy, served with small egg and seaweed, average taste Grilled LA Galbi - **** Tender marinated beef short ribs, tender and tasty, recommend Crystal Bite Pork & Potato Dumpling - *** Chewy potato-skin dumplings filled with pork and vegetables, bland taste Price: small to moderate portions, mediocre quality, expect $30 per person

Our first experience at Yoritofu was good! They just opened 2 months ago in Plaza Del Amo in the corner next to Starbucks. The interior is spacious and clean. Service (Jay Hee) was pleasant, welcoming and attentive. We ordered the Soon Tofu combo with grilled mackerel, Beef Tripe Hot Pot and Crystal Bite dumplings. Everything was delicious and would definitely recommend. Looking forward to trying more dishes when we visit again.

I came here craving real Korean food, and this place absolutely delivered. The Galbijjim with aged kimchi was the star: the meat and kimchi melted in my mouth, the rice cakes were a perfect touch, and because it came in a hot stone pot it stayed hot the whole time. The flavor was deep and comforting in a way that reminded me of home, the kind of flavor you don't realize you've been missing until it's right in front of you. The naengmyeon was just as good, soft noodles in a broth that was light but full of flavor, so refreshing I didn't want it to end. And the dumplings... I'm very picky about dumplings, but these were something special. They came on a thin layer of sauce, which meant you didn't have to reach for soy sauce at all, and believe me when I say that makes them taste way better. What stood out to me beyond the food was the menu itself. It's broad, from soft tofu to stews to meats, but it never felt like they just threw every possible dish on there. It's curated, thoughtful, and it goes beyond the usual basics (I can't tell you how refreshing it is not to see just tteokbokki for the millionth time). Even the side dishes showed that same care--instead of the usual broccoli or just kimchi, we got things like pickled cucumbers and fried tofu, all of them unique and delicious in their own right. The service made everything even better. The staff were attentive and kind, our food came out quickly, and the whole vibe of the restaurant was calm and beautiful, the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your lunch without rushing. I'm already planning to come back, not only to try their soju cocktails but to keep working my way through the rest of the menu. This place is the real deal, and I can't recommend it enough.

Yoritofu in Torrance is a fun new addition, and although they're still in their soft opening, it already feels like a great place to have a good meal and hang out. The atmosphere is modern and cozy with a laid-back vibe - perfect for grabbing a bite with friends or family. There's indoor seating as well as a large outdoor seating area. It's also located in a convenient spot that's easy to get to, making it a nice option for casual nights out. We had the B-2 Soon Tofu Combo and added the Bulgogi, B-3 Beef Short Rib Soup, A-5 Crystal Bite - Port & Potato Dumpling, and the K-3 Corn Cheese. The food was tasty and moderately priced, and even though soju flights aren't available yet, I'm looking forward to trying them once they launch. There are so many other dishes that I'd like to try out as well. A cool perk: if you follow them on Instagram, you can snag $5 off your next visit, which is a nice touch as they get things rolling. The service was also great. The servers were all very nice and polite and the food came out quickly. Overall, I really enjoyed Yoritofu and can't wait till all the drink options are available.

Colorful Harmony Bibimbap comes served in an enormous bowl
    Leo H.

Definitely try the tofu, there's a reason why it's in the name! The texture and flavor are a pleasant surprise and not plain at all. The colorful harmony bibimbap comes served in a comically large bowl that highlights all of its delicious ingredients, and the seafood scallion pancake comes served with a generous helping of seafood and features the right balance of crispy and soft. I'd pass on items such as the LA galbi and bulgogi, as many nearby restaurants do a much better job with those dishes.

We came here a few days ago for their soft opening just before dinner time. We were seated immediately and the restaurant has a good amount of seating, including outdoor seating. We went here before when it was called Full House but it's now called Yuritofu and their menu is comparably much better. There is a much wider variety of options including drinks as well (they have a soju flight which I want to try next time). We got the kimchi pancake which was really REALLY good. The is a generous amount of cheese and it was different (and better) than your typical kimchi pancake. I also got the beef short rib soup. It was your standard soup but it hits the spot! We weren't disappointed and were very happy. The hostess and owner were there. They were very nice and even helped to cut up the beef ribs for us. Ambiance was nice too. Easy to hold a conversation. We look forward to coming back!

Went with the LA Galbi Soon Tofu Combo (Seafood). The first dish to arrive was a house salad. The salad was light and refreshing. Next were the delicious Banchan. And last was the Tofu Souo. The soup was hearty and tasty. One thing I learned tonight was what to do with the small box of seaweed that came along with Banchan. The server explained that you put rice on top of the seaweed and eat it like sushi. Surprisingly, it's quite good. Service was extremely friendly and helpful.

The soup should probably come with a bib haha. I had some of the boiled dumplings which were good too, but the aesthetic of it was a bit off putting. They were enormous (huge plus) but the boiled ground pork inside looked a bit pink so I felt like I was eating someone's brain. When I took it home, I fried it up a bit snd it was 10x better. Mixing them all together, it created a kaleidoscope of colors, and delicious blending of flavors and textures. This dish also came with one set of Banchan.
