I'm not sure why I never knew this place existed but I'm glad I do now! It's a hidden gem that is quaint when it comes to the ambience and decor, but what truly stands out, is the comforting food! Seating is limited so depending on the time you visit, there could be a wait for a table or you'll have to be comfortable sitting at the counter. My husband and I came here for dinner and we ended up ordering a few some small plates like the salad, cold tofu with bonito flakes, agedashi tofu, grilled eggplant and sake ikura don. Although they are simple, they were delicious and did not disappoint. It felt like I was being served a home cooked meal. Next time, I'd like to try their Ramen as other Yelpers have raved about. There isn't anything else to mention except that they also had excellent customer service that made the overall experience very pleasant.

We came for the breakfast!! Super yummy and great atmosphere here! I don't normally like fish (cooked or raw) but I ate everything!!

Tldr it was ok??? Yummy but not the best I have had. I think I was too hyped up for this place with all the reviews I read and I even asked some locals about their experience here and everyone I asked said this was the best ramen they had ever eaten. While it was tasty, it definitely isn't the best ramen I have ever had. I would give the ramen a 6/10. The broth was ok but I didn't really enjoy the noodles. The other food was delicious as well. I really enjoyed the shishito peppers and the salad. The almond slices in the salad were a nice bit of texture and it wasn't overly saucy. The gyoza was fine. The mentaiko was nice and probably the closest to "feeling like Japan" I got from this experience. The service was great though and they were very nice with answering our many questions while we were ordering. Overall I was a bit disappointed by the food but it was still a solid eating experience.

Yuzu is one of the best ramen in Beaverton! I love how unassuming the outside is which makes you feel like you've stumbled across gatekept gem. The chicken karaage is incredibly delicious with a crispy coating and tender inside. Their ramen broths are also very rich and smooth, but not heavy which I greatly enjoy.

You gotta come to Yuzu, in Beaverton, OR, for authentic Japanese classic food! Visiting from Vancouver, BC we have a lot of exceptional Japanese ramen restaurants and if Yuzu opened in Vancouver, they would do amazing! You might walk past Yuzu as there is no large sign on the exterior. Once you enter, the interior is so cozy and inviting. We shared Agedashi Tofu and we all ordered ramen. Hubby likes his spicy (Kokuni Ramen) and rest of us ordered mild Miso Ramen. I did ask for soba noodles (buckwheat) instead of egg noodles as it is good for my dietary restriction. Delicious and satisfying. We came the day before to make a reservation for next day (dinner). I believe it was the owner we talked to and we weren't sure if she remember us as as it didn't write it down. We were pleasant to see our table had a 'reserve' sign when were seated. Wonderful service!

Yuzu is one of beaverton institutions, a hidden gem. In fact, it could be challenging to find their shop as it simply marked "YUZU" on their entrance. It's been a while since I was there, so I was pleasantly surprised nothing really has changed. Knowing there were limited seatings , we called ahead to make a reservation and we were glad we did. Many drop in customers had to wait for 30 minutes or turned away, which could be a bummer. The food here is Japanese beer house style. You'll find some rice balls, grilled meat, and other common Japanese dishes such as Katsu and ramen here. We ordered some sake, grilled shishito peppers, the house ramen and katsu curry rice, and liked all of what we ordered. The ramen was rich and savory, with fall apart pork belly chunks. My boyfriend really enjoyed the smooth curry and crunchy pork katsu as well. It was fun to see what the chef was doing thru the open kitchen, and our servers were very friendly and attentive, which made our dining experience very enjoyable. Overall, we like this little gem in beaverton and will come back again.

Flavors were so rich and restaurant was very homey. I loved the ambiance of the place and customer service was excellent. Definitely will be a go to spot for me when I need to hit that ramen craving. Don't skip out on their pork belly. Absolutely mind blowing.

Hole in the wall restaurant that's worth the try! Long wait though so make sure you arrive early! Flavor was really good but they don't give much noodles.

We came early on a Wednesday night and were the only ones here. What was good and bad? First let me say, we asked for help with ordering. The server couldn't understand why I was confused. I said I wanted the braised pork wide flat noodle and showed him the photo on Yelp. He told me to select stir-fry, then spicy pork flat noodle. I explained I didn't want spicy, he said it's not spicy then pushed the "less spicy" option. When the dish arrived, you could see the red peppers and it definitely was spicy! It was tasty but very spicy! My husband got the Mongolian beef which he said was good - he selected "no spicy". The only downside was it does not come with rice. Just Mongolian beef and lots of onions. We also ordered the bbq bao - do not order this - the dough was really "off" in both texture and flavor. I literally spit it out as did my husband. We'd come back but we'd be better prepared to order and we'd be way more cautious with what we order.

I left them a DM on Instagram just to inform them of the situation in an attempt to prevent others from getting sick (I did not ask them for anything). We got lucky and pulled into the last open spot. There were a good amount of people inside but we were seated right away. They have a little shop area in the front that was super cute too. Their menu is pretty large but in the best way. There's literally something for everyone from spring rolls to pho to banh mi. My friend and I each got our own DIY spring roll set and I got a cup of beef pho broth with an order of rice noodles to make a mini bowl of pho for myself on the side. The spring roll set comes with 4 sheets of rice paper, fresh veggies (lettuce, basil, cucumber, pickled carrots), rice noodles, your choice of protein (we chose pork sausage), and dipping sauce. The pho broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spring rolls came out amazing and were so filling. My only suggestion would be to have the carrots shredded instead of sliced to get a more even distribution within the spring rolls. But overall it was a fantastic meal. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

We started with Beef Masala Skewer -- yogurt-marinated beef with a Masala spice blend. The two skewers were perfectly seasoned and cooked -- so tender I could cut them with a fork. The flavor was rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. For our vegetable dish, we ordered the Stir-Fried Snap Peas with roasted garlic. The snap peas were crisp and perfectly cooked, and the garlic added just the right amount of depth. The portion was generous, too! We also tried the Chicken Karaage, sake-marinated fried chicken served with spicy Kewpie mayo. This classic Japanese dish didn't disappoint -- crispy, flavorful, and comforting. And last but not least, the the Salmon Poke Tower -- fresh salmon, sesame, avocado, mango, and cilantro. The salmon was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the flavors of mango, sesame, and the sauce came together perfectly. This might have been my favorite dish of the night! It all made for the perfect amount of food for two people. We drank some decaf green tea and enjoyed every moment of the experience. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was amazing -- cozy, beautifully designed, and it really reminded me of Japan. The outdoor area is gorgeous and perfectly manicured; I can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy it. The food is amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic and we had a lot. We tried the Fire Fish Soozi, the Salmon Poke Bowl, the chicken Karaage, Garlic chicken noodles, and the Fried beef with garlic fried rice. I know a lot of the dishes have garlic in their name, just know that garlic is quite predominant flavor amongst multiple dishes. Definitely on the pricier side for starters, but the portions are decent and the flavors are good.
