The Cobb Zalad with grilled chicken, no fried onions or toast.

I love Zaxby's. Mainly because of their salads. If you're trying to eat healthy & you're in a pinch, Zaxby's has an excellent selection of salads. Everything is very fresh! I usually get mine with grilled chicken, and without the fried onions and toast. So good & filling. When not paying attention to calories, I've enjoyed their chicken tenders and also the sliders. So good! This location also has friendly employees & fast service.

Cajun chicken sandwich. Bun was really fresh.

Have been twice and wasn't to impressed the first time. The first time I had the chicken strip dinner and they were extremely way to salty. So undecided to go back and try something different on there menu, so I had the Cajun chicken club sandwich. It was very good and fresh. Very nice building also.

It was very good. At first I had the thought I was eating Canes but after eating it a bit more, it has its own taste but still very close to Canes, probably with a tad more flavor. Just a tad though. The chicken portions were kinda small. The fries were really good. The seasoning they put on is not like a Tonys, more of a salt seasoning without it being salty? Either way it was good. The garlic texas toast was really good too. All in all, very good. Just wish the size of the chicken was bigger. The sweet tea still needs a bit more sweetness for us southern tea drinkers. Canes is FAR FAR FAR better but Canes is a local company. They know we like it SWEET!

15 minute wait to order in drive thru, another 15 to pull aside and wait for my order. It's a salad! Terrible service!

Food was not hot. Been sitting. Like eating microwaved lukewarm room temperature chicken nuggets.

Awful. Poor quality frozen food. Go to Cane's instead. Had high hopes as our area needs some better places to eat.

Service was friendly, fast, and the food was hot and fresh. My son and I both ordered the 4 piece with fries. It came with a biscuit and of course a pop. A Pepsi, which is superior to a Coke but rare to find in restaurants in Louisiana. A plus. The chicken was freshly made and hot. Also, we took not that the tenders were much larger than the other chicken tender place with the bland sauce and soggy fries ... The chicken was seasoned, it looked like it was marinated as we could see under the breading something that looked like hot sauce. It was very good! At the other place, we have to order their largest meal plus two tenders to fill up. The four piece at Bojangles filled us up. The fries were hot, crispy, seasoned and did I say CRISPY???!!!!!!!!?!!?! I was craving Bojangles the following day but it is almost an hour away. Will come back. Please open in Baton Rouge.

It was not the first time this has happened and I used to get much better salads when they first opened. Lately the drive thru lacks friendliness and professionalism. I've placed combo orders where there was NO communication with the second window server. My orders quit coming with requested sauce, utensils when necessary and no napkins. The chicken has become more spicy than usual and is more breading than meat. You're not going to last long with this attitude, service and quality.

We got the 8-piece dark meat chicken only, plus a biscuit and a medium rice dressing, and it was a lot of food for two people. The chicken was super juicy with a little kick of spice, crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly inside. The biscuit was bigger than your average biscuit--soft, buttery, and really good. The rice dressing could use a little more flavor. It reminded me of Popeyes, but with its own unique touch. Definitely worth a visit!

Mama's Chicken -- Opelousas, LA (Where diets go to die and…read morenobody's sorry about it) We rolled into Opelousas four deep, hungry, and feeling righteous. The mission was simple: real Louisiana fried chicken. Not "inspired by," not "elevated," not served on a slate tile with micro-greens. Just fried chicken that makes you question your life choices. With a name like Mama's Chicken, we figured we were at least in the right parish. Then we walked in. Packed. Locals everywhere. No tourists asking what a roux is. That's when you know you've done something right. The table immediately locked in on fried chicken orders. Boom. Boom. Boom. Shrimp and fish po'boys tried to flirt from the menu, but we stayed faithful. This was a chicken church and we were ready to worship. Then... betrayal. A small sign. Barely noticeable. Almost whispered. Chicken & sausage gumbo today. I folded instantly. Zero resistance. Straight to jail for crimes against the fried chicken alliance. I ordered the gumbo and red beans and rice because I have impulse control issues and the Lord understands. The food landed like a heavyweight title fight. Fried chicken stacked high--golden, crackly, unapologetic. Light and dark meat with that perfect crust that snaps back at you. Mac and cheese doing grown-folk mac and cheese things. Fries seasoned like somebody actually cared. And then my bowl showed up. That gumbo was dark-dark. The kind of roux that lets you know it's been places. Thick, rich, unctuous, and absolutely not here to be polite. Chicken and sausage swimming like they belonged there--because they did. The red beans? Creamy, silky, plump, and riding that rice like they've been together since high school. Let me be clear: You don't know fried chicken gumbo. You think you do. But you don't--until Mama's humbles you. Mama's Chicken doesn't need hype. It doesn't need branding. It doesn't need your Yelp opinion. It just keeps feeding locals and ruining outsiders' expectations of what "good" used to mean. Come hungry. Leave happy. Nap immediately. And don't pretend you're ordering the salad.

I was not disappointed. The moment we pulled into the parking lot we were treated with vintage vw bugs. A very good omen. The menu is vast and it all sounded so wonderful. As we stood there pondering our choices I couldn't help but notice the cleanliness and the decide. But what instantly drew my attention was the food being handed out. No paper wrap. No styrofoam here. Real plates and real silverware. . But the mountain of mouth watering piping hot onion rings called my attention. The old hippy he decided on the lot o burger with fries. And I had the veal tenderloin with those onion rings. Of course we had to have two frosty mugs of the namesake. Frostop RootBeer. Now I am a patient person and I will wait for fresh hot food to be served. So I didn't notice the amount of time it took. But any wait at all would be well worth it. The food was delicious and took me back to my misspent youth. People I am telling you if you are looking for quality and quantity. This is the place for you. The cost was reasonable. The owners are friendly and patient. But the real reason to make the trip is the food. They are the leader in every category: cleanliness, ambience, quality, taste, customer service, and quirkiness.
